Ridge: Something doesn't feel right.

Brooke: Hmm.

Ridge: I think this needs to be more form-fitted, don't you agree?

Brooke: Oh... yeah, sounds good.

Ridge: So polka dots all right?

Brooke: Sure. (Sighs)

Ridge: Have Madge take the bodice in. And your hem needs to come up a half an inch on this one. Thank you, ladies.

(Door closes)

Ridge: Something's going on with you, Logan, and I think I know what it is.

(Synthesized music playing)

Hope: That sounds insane, Oliver!

Oliver: Yeah, I think we finally got it. This is the final mix for Hope for the future. Take it down to Thorne. Tell him it's good to go.

Man: All right.

Hope: (Squeals) all of your hard work is really paying off.

Oliver: I just hope everyone likes it.

Hope: Are you kidding? Of course. they will. They're going to love it. Your talent never ceases to amaze me. I'm so proud of you.

Steffy: (Sighs) Unh, unh, unh. Now that's how you get yourself into trouble.

Stephen: I am so sorry for all the trouble I caused you.

Pam: Yeah, well, you should be, Stephen...

Pam: Cause I gave you something precious-- me. You were the first man that I had ever been with. And--and the whole time, you were just using me to get to Stephanie?

Stephen: Well, in the beginning, yes, but--

Pam: I mean, how could I have been such a dummy? I fell right into your trap. I bought it hook, line and sinker.

Stephen: Listen, I am sorry. What I did to you, it was wrong.

Pam: No. It was unforgiveable. You used me like a pawn in your little game. How could you have done that, Stephen?

Stephen: I did what I thought was right.

Pam: I just... I just have to ask you one question. What we had together, did you ever... have any real feelings for me?

Ridge: I know why you're upset. It's Steffy. R.E.S.T.--the corporation she started to get control of the company back.

Brooke: (Sighs) Uh, yeah. Yes, it was very disrespectful the way she handled that.

Ridge: And my mother's plan to get Donna to drop the lawsuit for half of Dad's share in the company.

Brooke: What? What are you talking about?

Ridge: Whoa. I just figured your sisters would have told you about this.

Brooke: No. No. I-I've been too busy. I haven't had a chance to talk to them.

Ridge: Well, Mother is offering leniency towards your dad in exchange for Donna dropping the lawsuit.

Brooke: I knew it. I knew that your mother would do this, that she would take this tragedy with my father and use it to her advantage. (Sighs) If it's not one thing, it's another.

Ridge: Look, I know you're worried about your father. But I get a sense that something else is going on with you.

Brooke: Yeah, yes, I'm--I'm worried about Steffy. She's out to get me, Ridge.

Steffy: You two are quite the lovebirds.

Hope: I know. We're kind of disgusting, aren't we?

Steffy: No, it's pretty cute, actually.

Hope: (Chuckles) Well, I have to go find my mom. I've gotta run something by her. So play her the new track, okay? Steffy, it's awesome.

Steffy: Hope has fallen really hard for you.

Oliver: What do you mean?

Steffy: She's gonna end up devastated.

Oliver: Why would you say that?

Steffy: Because it's going to destroy her when she finds out what happened between you and her mom.

Stephen: Pamela, you are a warm and wonderful person.

Pam: (Chuckles) Thank you very much. But that doesn't answer my question.

Stephen: All right, you want to know if what we shared together was real.

Pam: (Sighs) Well? Was it? Any of it?

Stephen: I admit in the beginning, my feelings towards you were not real. But, Pamela, I was an angry man.

Pam: (Sighs)

Stephen: I was consumed with--with rage and revenge, and--and I'm ashamed to admit I but, yes, I wanted to use you to commit the perfect crime.

Pam: (Scoffs) Oh, God.

Stephen: But, Pamela, they say that--that-- that life unfolds in unpredictable ways.

Pam: (Sighs)

Stephen: And well, we certainly came together in an unpredictable way.

Pam: (Chuckles)

Stephen: And I'll tell you that... when I'm here alone and I think about what we shared, well, that's why I'm very happy that you came here to visit me today.

Ridge: What do you mean, Steffy's out to get you?

Brooke: Steffy's always after me. And the thing is, she's been trained by the best, your mother. She's poisoned Steffy's mind against me for years, and now it like she has this little mini clone running around taking care of her dirty work.

Ridge: Did something happen?

Brooke: Look, I'm not perfect. I've made mistakes. I have regrets. I've done things that I wish never happened, and things I wish I could go back and change.

Ridge: Logan, we've all made mistakes.

Brooke: Yeah, but... (sighs) Steffy never cuts any slack. She'll never forgive me for taking you away from her.

Ridge: Well, she's a grown woman now. She's just gonna have to get over that.

Brooke: I just want her to accept me, and she rejects me at every turn. I've made an enemy of your daughter, Ridge, and I never meant for that to happen. I never wanted to be responsible in any way of making your daughter's life miserable.

Hope: Hey. Who's making whose life miserable?

Brooke: (Sighs)

Oliver: I thought I'd gotten through to you. Nothing happened with Mrs. Forrester. That's ridiculous.

Steffy: I'm not so sure about that. And will you stop calling her "Mrs. Forrester"? You're making it all the more creepy.

Oliver: Look, I know that Mrs.-- (Sighs) I know that Brooke hurt you, okay? I get that. And I'm sorry. But this theory of yours, it's wrong and it's-- it's dangerous talk, so just stop, okay?

Steffy: I have proof. I spoke with my dad. I can prove it was you and Brooke. Brooke was wearing Hope's necklace. She admitted that. My source says she took a guy by the hand, went outside, and then had her way with him at her daughter's graduation party. I mean...

Oliver: That was Ridge.

Steffy: It couldn't have been. "Pose" was playing when Brooke took the masked man onto the terrace. My dad wasn't even around at that point.

Oliver: Obviously, he's mistaken. There was a-a lot going on.

Steffy: Okay, Brooke was with a guy who was wearing a Forrester edition jacket. He had a hood--a hood on, a hood pulled up.

Oliver: So?

Steffy: My dad doesn't like hoods. He never, ever, ever wears them, and he wasn't the guy dancing in the video with the hood on. Oliver, just admit it, okay? Th--this has to be tearing you up inside. I understand you didn't want this. This is classic Brooke. She led you outside. I wouldn't be surprised if she was seducing you.

Oliver: It wasn't like that.

Steffy: (Scoffs)

Pam: Yeah, well, this is n-no place for anybody to be.

Stephen: Not exactly pleasant, no.

Pam: I can't imagine the food's any good.

Stephen: Not so much.

Pam: I never did get a chance to make you my turkey pot pie. Out of this world.

Stephen: Sounds heavenly.

Pam: Yep. But you'll never know, will you? Because you ruined everything by playing me like a fiddle.

Stephen: Listen, it may sound strange, Pamela, considering the circumstances.

Pam: (Sighs)

Stephen: But I'm grateful for the me that we had together. It allowed me to see the real Pamela, and I liked what I saw.

Pam: (Chuckles) You are such a sweet talker. It's just like all those mushy words you said to me.

Stephen: No, no. You are a warm, caring, sensitive person who has sacrificed too much of her life for other people. I just hope that-- that the time that we shared allowed you to see the kind of life you could have, the kind of life you could share with someone. Maybe it could have been me. But we'll never know, 'cause here I am.

Pam: (Scoffs) H-h-how can I believe anything that comes out of your mouth? (Sighs)

Ridge: Your mother and I were just discussing Steffy.

Hope: Why? Is she up to something?

Brooke: Uh, it's just that things have be going so well between all of us, and I, you know, I just didn't want Steffy to shake things up again. (Chuckles)

Hope: (Sighs) Mom, look, I know you're worried about Steffy, but you really don't need to be. There is nothing she can do to hurt us.

Brooke: I guess I'm just being overly cautious.

Hope: I feel like that's my fault.

Brooke: What? Of course not. Why would you say that?

Hope: Yes. No, it is. I kept coming to you, telling you how insecure I was about Steffy being around Oliver, which, you know, I was, but you were always there watching out for me. And now Oliver and I have never been better, so you see? I mean, Steffy's got nothing on us.

Brooke: Yeah. You're right.

Hope: And don't forget. You and Donna have never been better.

Ridge: We haven forgotten about that.

Hope: Mm-hmm. So you see, Steffy's fantasy mission to split you guys up is just that. It's a fantasy. You guys are indestructible. Steffy knows that.

Brooke: My wise, beautiful daughter. You're so positive and so full of light. Thank you. (Chuckles) You always know how to cheer up your mom, right?

Hope: (Chuckles) Mm-hmm.

Brooke: (Chuckles)

Steffy: It's true-- what I thought happened between you and Brooke.

Oliver: I didn't say that.

Steffy: You didn't have to. It's written all over your face.

Oliver: Steffy, please.

Steffy: My God. I cannot believe her! After everything she's done over the years, what happened between her and Deacon-- to go and do it again? (Sighs) Wow, my grandma's been right about her all along.

Oliver: Steffy, this is not a joke, okay?

Steffy: (Sighs)

Oliver: No matter what Brooke has done in the past. Think about all the lives that'll be ruined if you go to anyone with this.

Steffy: (Stammers) I can't keep this secret. I'm sorry.

Oliver: Think about your dad. You love him.

Steffy: Of course, I do. That's why he needs to know.

Oliver: You'll tear his life apart.

Steffy: His life has already been torn apart because of Brooke. She's only gonna continue to hurt him if I don't put a stop to this, and that--that is exactly what I'm gonna do. I am gonna go to my grandmother. I am gonna make it public knowledge about Brooke's latest betrayal.

Oliver: Don't do it, Steffy. Please.

Steffy: Brooke stole my father from me. She ripped my parents apart. I watched her use her sexuality to get what she wants, and my family has endured so much pain. I want her gone.

Oliver: You'll destroy Hope.

Steffy: Well, at least she'll know the truth no matter how painful it is. The same with Dad. It's time to finally put an end to Brooke and her immoral behavior.

Stephen: Maybe I am lying to you. Maybe I'm being absolutely sincere. It doesn't really matter...

Pam: (Sighs)

Stephen: Because you have every right to hate me. And frankly, I don't even know why you came to see me.

Pam: I came here to yell at you.

Stephen: Well, I don't blame you. But I will tell you something. There are times at night here when I swear I smell lemon bars in the room. Look, Pamela I snapped. I... lost myself. I don't even know if you can understand what I'm trying to tell you.

Pam: Are you kidding me? You're talking to the man who slathered honey on your daughter in a cabin in Big Bear and waited for a bear to come maim her. I had a brain tumor, Stephen. It made me do some really horrible things. I lost my way, too.

Stephen: Pamela, I don't expect your forgiveness. But I want to tell you something. I have felt... so alone here. But seeing your face, I don't feel quite so alone anymore.

Pam: Well...

Stephen: (Scoffs) (Sighs) (Exhales deeply)

Pam: I'm gonna make a batch of lemon bars tonight. Just thought you might want to know.

Stephen: Thank you.

(Telephone rings) (ring) (ring)

Ridge: You may have convinced Hope that everything is okay, but I know my wife.

Brooke: (Sighs) I didn't want say anything in front of her.

Ridge: It's probably best you didn't. I don't think we need any more drama between those two.

Brooke: I just wish there wasn't so much tension between us. I mean, no matter what we do, Steffy can't get over her resentment towards me.

Ridge: Sweetheart, she blames you for all of the things she feels are wrong in her own life.

Brooke: I just wish she could accept me. I wish she could learn to accept me and all of my shortcomings, 'cause I know I have a lot of them. I mean, I live my life in the moment, and I'm spontaneous, and I let my heart and my feelings guide me. Sometimes that gets me into trouble. (Sighs) But I'm only human. (Chuckles) I never claimed to be perfect.

Ridge: Well, you're pretty perfect to me. And you know what? More often than not, I get the benefit from your spontaneity.

Brooke: You are such a wonderful man, the most wonderful person in the world. I never want anything to come between us.

Ridge: Logan, where is all this coming from?

Brooke: I just want you to know how much I will always love you.

Steffy: I'm not enjoying this, Oliver. (Sighs)

Oliver: Look, you're right about what happened. But you're wrong about why and how it happened.

Steffy: Okay, so tell me.

Oliver: It was a terrible accident. It was mistaken identity. I thought Brooke was Hope. She thought I was your dad. That's the honest-to-God truth.

Steffy: (Sighs)

Oliver: Hope left her necklace here, and--and Marcus found it and gave it to Brooke to give to Hope. She didn't have any pockets, so--so she put it on, because she didn't want to lose it, and Hope convinced me to wear the company leather jacket that night, the same jacket your dad wore. And with the masks and the darkness and the loud music and those stupid hooded dresses, I got mixed up. So when "Pose" started, I thought I was dancing with Hope. Then halfway through the song, she whispered in my ear, "I'm ready"...

Brooke: I'm ready.

Oliver: And then led me outside. That's the same thing that Hope said she was gonna say to me when she was... ready to... you know.

Steffy: So you assumed it was Hope.

Oliver: Yeah. And it wasn't till I came back inside and saw Hope coming down the stairs that I realized something had gone terribly wrong. And then Brooke took off her mask and gave the necklace to Hope, and then I-I really freaked.

Steffy: Brooke thought she'd just been with my dad.

Oliver: Yeah. Yeah. She--she didn't realize it at that point. A-and I didn't want her to know. But then later on, Brooke-- Brooke put the pieces together. She's mortified, Steffy.

Steffy: (Sighs)

Oliver: She's terrified that--that she'll hurt Hope and lose her husband.

Steffy: Well, she should be, 'cause that's exactly what's gonna happen.

Oliver: It was an accident. I-I would never do anything to betray Hope, and no matter what you think about her mother, she would never betray Hope that way. Steffy, please. I'm not asking for me, but--but for everybody involved, okay? Your dad, too. Don't tell anyone about this.
