Steffy: I'm right. It was you and Brooke on the terrace that night. Ollie Jones, you naughty, naughty boy.
Ridge: A matter of life and death?
Brooke: Hi, sweetheart.
Ridge: That's what your text said.
Ridge: "Come to the steam room. It's a matter of life and death."
Ridge: What could possibly be so important?
Brooke: I cleared your calendar for the next 30 minutes or so, unless, of course, if we want to go longer.
Ridge: Logan, no one knows where I am. What if something happens?
Brooke: Oh, well, then I'm sure Stephanie will handle things, 'cause that's what she does best, handling things. Mm. (Humming)
Katie: (Clears throat)
Bill: All right, Stephanie, enlighten us. Why have you asked us here?
Katie: Look, if this has anything to do with what happened at Big Bear, I don't think we should discuss it.
Stephanie: I think, in a way, it does. I mean, after all, your father tried to kill me.
Donna: Our father isn't well, Stephanie. Look, he needs help, not a lengthy prison sentence.
Stephanie: Well, that's up to the judge and the jury to decide, isn't it? Of course, if I had my way...
Katie: Anyone with the last name Logan deserves hard time, is that it?
Stephanie: Let's focus on your father. I might have the key to your father's future.
Donna: Do you know where she's going with this?
Eric: Let's let her finish.
Stephanie: Well, seeing what your father did to my sister and the fact that he was really seriously trying to kill me, I'm willing to put that aside and make a deal.
Donna: What kind of deal?
Stephanie: You put aside your demand for Eric's share of Forrester Creations, I will go to the court and plead for leniency for your father. That's my offer. Take it, or leave it.
Ridge: Wait a minute. Something's wrong. I'm naked, but you're not.
Ridge: You want me to show you exactly how much better?
Brooke: No. I will show you.
Oliver: Man, am I a klutz, or what?
Steffy: Oh, give it up already. We both know why you dropped those CDs.
Oliver: It was an accident.
Steffy: Oh, like what happened between you and your girlfriend's mom at Hope's graduation party?
Oliver: Come on, Steffy, stop with that, okay? It's not funny.
Steffy: It's not meant to be.
Oliver: You--you actually think that Mrs. Forrester and I-- that--that--that's crazy.
Steffy: You and my dad were wearing the same Forrester jacket, right?
Steffy: And Brooke was wearing Hope's necklace.
Oliver: Again, so?
Steffy: So a source of mine told me that two people were dancing to "Pose," a woman wearing Hope's necklace and a guy in a Forrester jacket. Well, Brooke already confirmed that she was wearing the necklace. So who else would be the guy?
Oliver: How about, uh, I don't know--I don't know, Ridge, her husband, the guy wearing the same jacket, your dad.
Steffy: Or maybe, oh, I don't know, you, Hope's boyfriend. My source says they went out to the terrace all hot and heavy. We're talking all the way.
Oliver: Well, okay, I'm--I'm a little surprised your dad and--and Brooke would do it while chaperoning a graduation party, but I guess that means the stories about them are true.
Steffy: Nice try, but I'm not buying. You are a lousy liar, Ollie Jones. And I'm tenacious as hell. Do you really think I won't get the truth out of you about what happened that night?
Bill: You can't guarantee leniency.
Stephanie: Oh, that's true. I can't. But if the intended victim usually goes to the court and asks for leniency, it--it usually ends up with a lighter sentence. Or you can just let your father stay for the rest of his life behind bars.
Katie: Oh, for God's sake, Stephanie. You know that's not what we want.
Donna: It's killing us seeing our dad behind bars.
Stephanie: Do we have a deal then?
Bill: No, we do not have a deal.
Eric: Is this all right with the two of you, having Bill speak for both of you?
Bill: Typical. You're gonna keep hiding behind her skirt, pretending like you didn't know anything about this?
Stephanie: Actually, Eric didn't. Uh, I didn't discuss it with him because I knew that he would try and talk me out of it. He'd be concerned about my safety if your father was on the loose.
Katie: Oh, please. My father is--
Stephanie: Needs serious psychiatric treatment, as I think you three girls do.
Bill: All right, we're done. Let's go.
Stephanie: Fine. Just keep in mind, Donna, that I can see that your father is prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, or not. It's up to you.
Ridge: Logan, Logan, Logan.
Ridge: What do you do to me?
Ridge: Though, I am starting to wonder.
Brooke: Wonder what?
Ridge: Whether it's all me, or is it making love in the steam room that really gets you going like this?
Brooke: (Giggles) Ridge.
Ridge: You were like this last time we were in here, before Hope's graduation party. Boy, were you revved up then. Only we didn't get to finish what we started, did we?
Oliver: You keep this up, people are gonna get hurt, all right? Is that what you want?
Steffy: What I want? What I want is to not feel the way I felt because of Brooke. All the pain and the loss and the embarrassment. And I-I just-- I want it to stop. God, so many people, so many lives damaged because of one woman and her behavior. Having sex with her daughter's boyfriend at a graduation party, a party that she was supposed to be chaperoning. I'm sorry, but what kind of person does that, even if it was mistaken identity or temptation she couldn't resist? Result's the same. It's scandal. And heartbreak for people that she claims to love, including my dad.
Oliver: You're still in pain, and that's what's driving you.
Oliver: As a child, you--you couldn't do anything to stop Brooke.
Steffy: Well, now I can. And I have to, and I'm going to because it's truly-- it's--it's the only way that I'm gonna be able to heal from this.
Oliver: And forgive your dad for not seeing Brooke the way you've seen her all along?
Steffy: (Scoffs) I just--I just want her gone. I want her gone. I want her out of our lives, out of the company. The Logans are the bane of our existence, all right? Brooke, most of all. The sooner she's gone, the better it'll be for my family and for my dad.
Bill: Eric, please chime in. After all, you do have the most to gain from this deal, don't you?
Eric: Yeah, I would imagine that, um, that your wife and Donna both feel that it's their father who has the most to gain here.
Bill: If, and it's a big if, Stephanie can convince the judge to go easy on Stephen. There is no guarantee. Donna would be giving up her half of your share in Forrester Creations for nothing.
Stephanie: Isn't that the most interesting thing? He's not interested in your father. You know, Bill, if you loved your wife and her family as much as you'd like everyone to believe, you would put their father's interests first, above your own business interests. Isn't that right, Donna?
Donna: Look, I can't give you an answer right now, Stephanie. I need time to think with Katie. We have to talk to Brooke, my dad.
Stephanie: Okay. Just remember, the longer you take, the longer your father stays in jail.
Ridge: Wait. What am I saying? Brooke Logan Forrester doesn't have regrets. She goes where her heart and her desires take her. I guess that's why our love life is so exciting. Elevators, steam rooms and now this newfound fascination with masks. Still not sure where that came from. Where does that come from, Logan?
Brooke: (Sighs) Don't you have a meeting with Steffy? You don't want to be late.
Ridge: Is that your way of telling me that I may never know?
Brooke: I love loving you. And I love being loved by you. And I know I don't make it easy sometimes, but just know that my heart is and always will be yours, and only yours.
Oliver: From the moment we first met, I thought you were beautiful and smart, funny.
Steffy: But you're committed to Hope.
Steffy: Even though she's a kid and you're playing kiddie games.
Oliver: I don't play games.
Steffy: Uh, you just did. Playing with fire, doing what you did with your girlfriend's mom. But that's not the Ollie Jones I know. He's a good guy who plays by the rules. I mean, hey, it was a crazy night, everybody in masks. It's possible that you thought Brooke was Hope, and she thought you were my dad and it was just a case of mistaken identity. Or maybe-- maybe Brooke used you just like she used so many other men, and you're just more collateral damage. Is that it? Did she use you?
Oliver: I'm gonna say it again. What you think happened, didn't. Now, Steffy, please, drop this, okay? For all our sakes.
Brooke: What is it? Why did you text me?
Oliver: I-I-I needed to see you. It--it couldn't wait.
Brooke: What couldn't? Is something wrong?
Oliver: Maybe. I-I'm not sure.
Brooke: You're not sure about what?
Oliver: Somebody may be on to us.
Oliver: Somebody may have seen us on the--on the terrace at Hope's party.
Brooke: No, no, that's not even possible. Nobody could have seen what we were doing.
Oliver: It was Steffy.
Brooke: Steffy wasn't even at the party.
Oliver: But her source was.
Brooke: Her source?
Oliver: She says this person saw a woman wearing Hope's necklace and a guy wearing a leather jacket like mine headed to the terrace together. She knows that the woman was you, and now she thinks that-- that the guy was me and that we were, you know-- and when she called me out on it, I tried to wiggle out of it, but I don't know if she bought it. We both know Steffy. She's not gonna stop digging till--till she proves she's right.
Brooke: No. No. Steffy cannot find out.
Steffy: Hey, where have you been? I've been looking for you.
Ridge: Hey, I'm not that late for our meeting.
Steffy: What? We had a meeting?
Ridge: Don't tell me you forgot.
Steffy: (Sighs) More like sidetracked.
Ridge: Yeah, me, too.
Steffy: Where were you, anyway?
Ridge: If you must know, the steam room.
Steffy: With Brooke?
Ridge: No, of course not. With Madge from the cutting room.
Steffy: Oh, jeez. Don't you two ever give it a rest?
Ridge: Don't you think you're asking some personal questions here?
Steffy: Well, I'm--I'm sorry. I mean, it's not like you guys are teenagers and you need a chaperone or anything. Speaking of chaperoning, Hope's bash--how was it?
Ridge: The party?
Steffy: The chaperoning. Was it all work and no play? Got time to kick up the heels a little bit?
Ridge: You mean did I have time to go out and dance with my wife? Actually, I got to the party a little late. Things were in high gear by then.
Steffy: So you and Brooke did or didn't dance to "Pose"?
Ridge: No, I don't think we did.
Ridge: Uh, things were, uh, you know, pretty much in high gear by then, and, uh, a lot of confusion.
Steffy: Y-yeah, yeah, I bet. Even you and Brooke, maybe had a chance to, I don't know, go to the terrace and have some private time?
Ridge: Sweetie, we were chaperoning.
Steffy: Oh, I know. But you know, hey, when the--when the mood strikes.
Ridge: We had a houseful of kids. There was a lot of action going on. You know, we were in charge. So, no, I don't think we had time to slip out to the balcony. Why are you asking this, anyway?
Steffy: So you didn't?
Ridge: Yeah? Okay, I'll be right down. I have to go downstairs to approve some patterns.
Steffy: Yeah, sure, Dad.
Daddy Yankee: Pose pose, pose
Steffy: The man you were dancing with, Brooke, the man in the mask, it wasn't my dad. I knew it. It was Oliver. All the years of suffering because of you, me and my family-- you're mine, Brooke. I own you.
