Brooke: How did the shower feel?
Ridge: Okay, I guess.
Brooke: Did you call Steffy?
Ridge: I called her a few times. (Sighs) I guess she's just too upset to call me back.
Brooke: Mm. She'll call you back in the morning.
Ridge: She just seemed so hurt.
Brooke: Well, that's what all of this is-- all the lashing out and the odd behavior. It stems from her being in pain of losing her sister.
Ridge: And she feels like she's lost me as well for some reason, no matter how much I reach out to her.
Brooke: Just keep doing what you're doing. Steffy will come around.
Whip: Look, sweetheart, I'm no fan of the guy, but it sounds like Ridge made the right call. You know, Steffy tried to sabotage the campaign. Any other company, she'd be fired outright.
Taylor: Well, maybe, but I think she was just crying out for help.
Taylor: She was wanting his attention. That's all she's ever wanted. That's what this whole thing is about. And what does he do? He defends Hope, and he takes the campaign away from her, and that's wrong. I just don't think it's going to fix anything. If anything, it's gonna backfire. There's no telling what she'll do next.
Pam: (Scoffs) Y-Your dad fired you?
Steffy: No, just from the stupid Hope for the Future campaign.
Steffy: Don't worry. I'm not gonna worry about it, so when it flops, it's not my problem.
Pam: But, Steffy, you are head of P.R. You can't be just taken off this. Look, sweetheart, y-you want me to tell them my part in this?
Steffy: No, no, no. I don't want you to say anything, all right? You're not takin' the heat. Besides, it's not over. I'm gonna reload and strike again. You know that.
Pam: Now what do you mean by that?
Steffy: Not "what." "Who." Oliver Jones.
Pam: (Whispers) Oliver Jones. (Laughs)
Hope: Thank you for having me over for dinner.
Oliver: You know what? I've been looking forward to this celebration for a long time.
Oliver: That is, if you're still up for it.
Hope: Of course, even though we almost didn't have anything to celebrate.
Oliver: But you pulled through.
Hope: Because of you.
Oliver: You know, I-I-I had a feeling, with Steffy in charge, there might be trouble.
Hope: (Groans) You should have heard some of the things that she said afterwards.
Oliver: That must have been awful.
Oliver: You know, this might sound kind of weird, but I feel bad for Steffy.
Hope: So do I. I do feel bad for her, but when she's going off on me and yelling at me, I just-- I can't help but picture her as a 4-year-old throwing a tantrum, you know?
Hope: I mean, she's always telling me how much younger and inexperienced I am.
Hope: But sometimes I feel like she's the one who doesn't know how grown-ups are supposed to act.
Oliver: It's sad.
Hope: Yeah, it is. But, oh, well. It doesn't matter. It's not gonna get to me. I mean, she can pout and pound her fists all she wants, but I'm not leaving the company.
Oliver: That's what I want to hear.
Pam: Oliver Jones?
Steffy: He is gonna help us get rid of the Logans.
Pam: But wait. Oliver is Hope's boyfriend, Steffy.
Steffy: Mm, exactly. You know what's just so cute about them? Is that Hope's not willing to look at any schools outside of L.A. because of him. It's really, really adorable. But if she were to get hurt, if Oliver were to break her heart, she's gonna run away, and that college in Boston is gonna look a lot more attractive. She's gonna be gone for four years, even more.
Pam: And once Hope leaves the company...
Steffy: Brooke will follow.
Steffy: I'd make sure if it.
Brooke: Thank you for standing up for Hope today.
Ridge: What Steffy did was inexcusable.
Brooke: Still, must have been very difficult.
Ridge: Yeah, it was. When I think about what she said, how much she actually resents Hope...
Brooke: Well, she feels that Hope has won what is most important to her, and that's you.
Ridge: I come home every night to you and Hope. We have dinner. We laugh. We live the life that Steffy thinks I should be living with her mother.
Brooke: I know. And I feel bad for her. I really do. But she was lashing out at my daughter, and you did the right thing by taking her off the campaign. I know it was hard, and I know you feel guilty. But Steffy has to be stopped before she goes too far.
Steffy: Oliver is taking Hope over to his house tonight to celebrate. They're gonna have dinner, but, you know what happens after dinner.
Steffy: Yeah, you could-- you could say that. You know, but Oliver’s a man. And Hope is a little girl. She's a sweet girl, but she's not gonna give him what he needs.
Pam: Oh. I think I know what you're saying. And that would be where you come in?
Steffy: And take charge.
Hope: Thank you. That was so good.
Oliver: I will cook for you anytime you want.
Hope: All right, then tomorrow.
Hope: Okay. No, I'm just kidding. It is my turn to cook for you.
Oliver: Sure. You can cook breakfast.
Hope: (Giggles) Oliver.
Oliver: If you come over tomorrow morning is what I meant, obviously.
Oliver: I'm falling for you, Hope. I don't think you realize how much.
Hope: Yeah, I think I do.
Oliver: This is more than being your boyfriend. I've had girlfriends come and go. I know what it feels like when you're-- you're so into someone, and you live to just to see and--and breathe them and just to say two words to them. But with you, it's--it's more than that. I've never felt this way before.
Hope: Mm, Oliver. Wait.
Oliver: You want to stop?
Hope: No, I-- it's just, I've... you know, I've never done this before.
Oliver: I know. Uh, I want to make it special. It will be special. I want it to be something that we'll always remember, you know? Your first time. Our first time together. I want to make love to you.
Hope: I'm sorry. I am. I'm just--I'm not ready. Oliver, I care about you so much, and I'm so happy that you're in my life, but I just need more time. Please tell me that I'm worth waiting for.
Oliver: Of course you are.
Hope: You're not mad?
Oliver: I don't want to do anything that you don't want to do, not till you're ready. I mean it.
Hope: Thank you. I should go.
Oliver: You don't have to.
Hope: I know, but it's getting late. Thank you for tonight, though, for the dinner and the press conference, and this. (Sighs) It was a wonderful, wonderful night.
Oliver: All right.
Ridge: You know, it's almost good that it came to this.
Brooke: With Steffy?
Ridge: Yeah. At least all of her feelings came out. Now we can all just move on.
Brooke: Yeah? Well, if that's what she'd like to do, I'm all for it.
Ridge: Look, I don't think she's being bad just to be bad. I think she's hurt. She's feeling scarred. Now we all can just pull together to help her get through it.
Stephanie: You are a bad influence on Steffy. You two have got to stop pulling these stunts. You hurt people.
Pam: (Sighs) Well, she's on her own tonight.
Stephanie: What do you mean, "she's on her own tonight"?
Stephanie: I know you. You want to spill the beans, or you wouldn't have brought this up. What's going on?
Pam: It's almost over, Steph. Your granddaughter's newest plan is gonna get rid of Hope and Brooke forever.
Pam: (Laughs) (Claps)
(soft music playing)
Steffy: I think I passed her on P.C.H. What, did you scare her off?
Oliver: What are you doing here?
Steffy: How was your dinner?
Oliver: I think you should leave.
Steffy: Now I had a rough day, and I think of ending it with a little bit of fun.
Oliver: Steffy, uh...
Steffy: What? I have a feeling that you heard "no" tonight. Am I right? Well, I'm here to say "yes."
Whip: So let me ask you a question. Do you think it's-- it's harder for a psychiatrist to see a problem within her own family?
Taylor: Wait. Are you saying that maybe Brooke is right about Steffy, and this is all about her projecting her own issues onto my daughter about being promiscuous?
Whip: No, no, no, no, no. No, no, no, no. I'm not--no, no, no. Not at all. Not at all. I'm--I'm just-- I'm just thinking out loud. That's all. And my cousin Oliver has, uh, spoken to me about your daughter. He expressed how she's shown... interest in him.
Taylor: Well, of course. He's very cute.
Taylor: I'm sure that happens everywhere he goes, but Steffy knows that he's seeing Hope, and I know she respects that.
Pam: Come on, this is a brilliant plan, isn't it? Yes!
Stephanie: No, no, no. This is exactly what concerns me. I do not want Steffy to... to in any way jeopardize her relationship with her father, and that's gonna happen because of all of this nonsense.
Pam: No, no, no. Don't worry about that. Don't--she--Steffy can take care of herself. She is exactly the way that you were at that age. And with guys, too. They can't resist her, Stephanie. Don't you remember the way that you had Massimo and Eric wrapped around your little finger at the same time?
Stephanie: Why are you bringing that up now?
Pam: I'm trying to say, you got everything you ever wanted, and Steffy’s just like you. And right now, she wants Oliver, and she's gonna get him. And that poor little Hope is gonna go running out of this company with tears streaming down her face, and our Miss Brooke will follow right after her.
Stephanie: And why would "our Miss Brooke" leave?
Pam: Because she'll be the last Logan standing, stripped of all her power, none of her sisters around to support her. She'll be so humiliated.
Pam: Trust me, Steph. It's in your granddaughter's hands tonight. (Laughs) (Claps hands) (Rubbing hands together)
Steffy: Let's dance.
Oliver: I'll pass.
Steffy: Fine. You sit, relax. I'll dance.
Oliver: This has to stop, all right? Hope was just here. This feels really dirty.
Steffy: Hope's not here.
Oliver: Steffy, I can't just turn on a switch and be into you, okay? I'm sorry. I like you. You're a sexy, beautiful woman, but I want Hope.
Steffy: Okay, tell me you weren't hoping something would happen. Oh, that's funny. "Hoping," like, you're hoping for a future with her that's not going to happen.
Oliver: It will when she's ready.
Steffy: That must be a turn-on in a girlfriend then. Huh?
Oliver: Uh, it is.
Steffy: Yeah? Mm.
Oliver: You should try it sometime if you ever had a boyfriend.
Steffy: I don't want a boyfriend. I like friends with benefits. Less complicated. Nobody gets hurt.
Oliver: Good luck with that. You let me know how that goes, okay?
Steffy: Okay. You'll know. Come on, Oliver. Kiss me. Kiss... kiss me. I won't say anything. I promise. Hope won't find out, so let's just have a little fun, okay?
Steffy: You and me. I'll do anything you want.
Hope: Hey, can I come in?
Brooke: Yeah, come on in.
Ridge: And how was dinner?
Hope: It was awesome.
Ridge: Oliver seems to have made quite an impression on you.
Hope: (Sighs) You have no idea. He's so amazing. Like today, at the press conference, the only reason that I could pull through or even speak is because of him.
Oliver: What exactly are you offering me, Steffy?
Steffy: Everything you've ever wanted.
Steffy: Because you're cute, and obviously, I'm attracted to you.
Oliver: You're attracted to me because I'm involved with Hope. You're trying to get between us. Use me, then tell Hope all about it, so she'll leave me and go off to college in the fall, and she won't be at work bothering you anymore. She won't be at your father's house calling him "Dad." Most importantly, she won't be around me, either. Not that you care, 'cause as soon as you tell Hope that you and I were together, I won't be any use for you anymore. That about sum it up?
Steffy: Okay, wow. Harsh. Is that what you really think that this is all about?
Oliver: Well, that's what you were trying to do at the press conference, right? Which, by the way, I'm not gonna forgive you for. That was really lame.
Steffy: (Sighs) Oh, my God.
Oliver: You're trying to embarrass Hope, send her packing? Well, you know what, Steffy? She's not leaving. She just told me she's planning to go to college here, stay at Forrester and stay with me.
Steffy: Very good, Oliver. But what you don't realize is what you got yourself involved in-- something my grandmother and I have been battling for years-- Logan versus Forrester, and we want them gone. Look, I'm just gonna be honest with you, okay? If you stay with Hope, she's gonna stay here and so will her mom. But if you end it with her, she'll go away to school and, yeah, her mom will stay at Forrester, but she'll be miserable, and she'll end up leaving. And then we'll be free of the Logans. All you really got to do is just be with me. You'll be well rewarded, not only here, but in the office. Money, promotions, everything you've ever wanted.
Oliver: And all I have to do is get rid of the Logans?
Steffy: Mm-hmm. They hurt my father. They stole the company. I want them gone, and you can help me. You really can. All I need is your help, and all they're gonna do is just cause you trouble. Hope really is just some naive little girl who should really go away to college. She's not gonna give you what you want, not for a long, long time. Do you really want to play kiddie games with her? Or do you want a woman who's hot for you? A woman who can give you everything you want, a whole new, exciting life with the Forrester backing?
Oliver: And all you need me to do is... help you get rid of Hope and Brooke?
Steffy: Just take me. Take me. (Whispers) Tonight. Take me tonight.
