Donna: Bill, I... what you're asking of me, I... I love Eric.

Bill: Donna, your mother is dead because of a woman he continues to trust, to care for, to welcome into his home. That's the reason Beth died. Now you don't want him to pay for that? You want your mother's death to be in vain? No, you want Stephanie to pay, but that can't happen unless you go after Eric. Donna, you have to do it. That's the only way there'll be justice.

Donna: I-I-I have to go. I have to talk to my husband.

Bill: Wait.

Donna: What?

Bill: Give him this.

Donna: What is it?

Bill: Just give it to him. Trust me. You'll be glad that you did.

(Door opens)

(Door closes)

Stephanie: I'm all packed, leaving. (Sighs) Just thought I'd come say good-bye.

Eric: Mm.

Stephanie: What's the matter?

Eric: There's a picture of you and me floating around the internet.

Stephanie: Well, nothing new in that.

Eric: Yeah, well, there's something a little different about this one.

Stephanie: Oh.

Nick: (Sighs)

Nick: Mm, you know what we have to do?

Bridget: Hmm?

Nick: We're gonna have to start telling people about this pregnancy, because that beautiful little belly's gonna become a beautiful basketball very soon.

Bridget: Yeah, God willing, if I can carry this baby to term.

Nick: Hey, stay positive. Right?

Bridget: Mm-hmm. (Chuckles) Okay.

Nick: We're going to have to tell my mother soon.

Bridget: No, no, no, honey. I don't--I'm not ready for that. It's too early. What if something goes wrong? I don't think it's a good idea.

Nick: Something will definitely go wrong if we don't tell her.

Bridget: No, I--

Nick: She'll kill me.

Bridget: (Sighs)

Nick: Besides, I want her to be part of this. Owen, too.

Bridget: Owen?

Nick: Well, yeah, Owen. What's wrong with that?

Nick: My mother's already becoming suspicious.

Bridget: She is?

Nick: Well, of course she is. She can't wrap her head around why you don't want to be spokesperson for this lingerie line. She's not gonna let this rest. We're gonna have to come clean.

Jackie: Come clean about what?

Bridget: Um...

Nick: Bridget?

Bridget: Nick?

Nick: Well, Bridget...

Bridget: (Stammers)

Nick: And I have an announcement.

Jackie: Oh, good. You've decided to be spokesmodel after all. Yes!

Nick: Uh, no, no, no. Actually we have an announcement as to why she's not gonna be spokesperson.

Bridget: Honey.

Nick: She's pregnant.

Justin: I just got the contract from Dubai. We need to sign off on it tonight.

Bill: Leave it over there. I'll get to it in a minute. Donna's not here. She took off right after I showed her the picture of Eric kissing Stephanie.

Justin: (Scoffs)

Stephanie: Well, I don't understand what the fuss would be. (Chuckles) You and me having a kiss-- that's hardly scandalous.

Eric: Yeah, but Donna is my wife. I'm trying to hold my marriage together. If she sees this, then itó

(door slams)

Donna: Has anyone checked the internet today?

Eric: (Sighs)

Bill: You've got impeccable timing, my man-- spot-on. Donna was this close to forgiving Eric.

Justin: Until you showed her the photo.

Bill: Stopped her right in her tracks.

Justin: (Clicks tongue)

Bill: Nothing fires up a woman quite like seeing a picture of her husband kissing his ex-wife.

Justin: Mm.

Bill: So I thank you.

Justin: Yeah. Can't have been easy for Donna to see that.

Bill: I'm sure it wasn't, and I feel for her. But she needs to know where she stands with Eric. She will never be anything more than a second-string trophy wife, and she deserves better than that.

Justin: You're hoping she'll realize that, dump Eric and take him to the cleaners.

Bill: Well, a picture's worth a thousand words, right? Or, in this case, a multimillion-dollar company.

Justin: So where's Donna now?

Bill: She went to see Eric. I just hope she's standing her ground.

Justin: Right, paving the way for you, my friend, to get your hands back on Forrester Creations.

Donna: Stephanie, can I please have a moment alone with my husband?

Stephanie: Of course. I'll just wait in the guesthouse.

(Door opens)

Eric: You, uh, you saw the photo.

(Door closes)

Donna: Yeah.

Eric: Donna, it's--it's just a--

Donna: How could you do this to me? How could you kiss Stephanie?

Eric: It's just-- it's just a photo. It was--it was after the...

Donna: (Scoffs)

Eric: The--the tribute thing. I was, uh, caught in the emotion. I was caught up in it.

Donna: Of course. Of course. That--that was her plan-- for you to see those images of--of your family, of your life, and it reminded y-- (sighs) it reminded you of what you used to have and what you would still have if she were by your side instead of me.

Jackie: You're pregnant?

Bridget: Mm-hmm.

Nick: Well, we were as surprised as--as you are. (Chuckles) I know this comes as a shock to both of you.

Owen: Yeah, I mean, when you guys said that you had an announcement, this is the last thing that I expected.

Jackie: I-I thought you weren't going to try to have another baby on your own because it was too dangerous. I...

Nick: Well, you know, mother, sometimes, uh, things happen. You just roll with the punches.

Jackie: Sweetheart, I mean, is there any hope that you carry this baby to term?

Bridget: Well, we just have to hope and pray that everything turns out okay.

Jackie: (Sighs)

Nick: I think this baby was meant to be, because it does represent everything good in our life. I didn't even have a life before--before you, before Jack. I mean, let's face it. I used to just love to get on my boat, right?

Jackie: Mm.

Nick: Get a bottle of booze, a bunch of cigars and sail out in the middle of the n--ocean...

Jackie: (Chuckles)

Nick: To nowhere. That's where I was, basically. Nowhere.

Jackie: (Laughs)

Nick: And now I have a life. I have this beautiful woman. I have my son Jack. So thank you. Thank you for giving me a life. (Laughs) And thank you for... this beautiful new soul yet to come.

Bill: So some people may say I'm greedy, but I'm not totally heartless.

Justin: (Chuckles) It's cold and black, but there's a heart in there somewhere.

Bill: Let me tell you something. The bottom line is I want what's best for Donna. Eric is never going to make her his priority.

Justin: Mm.

Bill: She needs out of that marriage.

Justin: This could prove to be Ericís priciest divorce ever.

Bill: And if I benefit from it, get myself back in at Forrester Creations...

Justin: Mm-hmm.

Bill: All the better. And you, pal...

Justin: (Chuckles)

Bill: You may benefit, too, 'cause you'll get another shot with Donna.

Justin: Yeah, well, that's assuming that she does end it with Eric. I'm not so sure she will. She really loves that man.

Bill: You know what? I think she's got too much pride to play second fiddle, and that's all she's ever gonna get from Eric.

Justin: Hmm.

Bill: All he does is vacillate. "I want Stephanie. I want Donna. I want"--I mean, come on.

Justin: (Chuckles)

Bill: It's not right, and it's never gonna change. We just have to hope that Donna sees the light and realizes she deserves better than that.

Donna: I need your support now. I-I appreciate everything that you said to me at the beach house.

Eric: I meant every word I said to you at the beach house.

Donna: I want to believe that.

Eric: You have to believe it. Donna, all I want is for you to be here--here with me in this house.

Donna: And I wanted that, too, Eric. I did. But... (sighs) I-I felt so good coming over here... so good about our marriage, our future. I-I wanted to-- to put the past behind us and make a fresh start.

Eric: And so we will. We can do that. We can have that, Donna.

Donna: I'm not so sure about that. I mean, you... you said that we could overcome any obstacle.

Eric: We can. We can.

Donna: I want to... I want to believe that, too. Eric, I wanted-- I-I believed that we-- we could get through anything. But then I saw the--that picture.

Eric: (Sighs) I'm sorry, Donna. I hate the thought of hurting you at all. I will never hurt you again. I never will. I promise you that.

Nick: So could we get a congratulations here, please?

Jackie: (Laughs)

Owen: Congratulations, Nick. Congratulations, Bridget. It's great news.

Jackie: Congratulations.

Bridget: Yeah, I know.

Jackie: Oh, I am so truly happy for both of you.

Bridget: Mm, thank you.

Jackie: Though I've got to admit, it is a surprise, a big one.

Nick: You're gonna be a grandma again. Grandma. Grandma.

Jackie: I know. Isn't it wonderful? Wonderful. This baby--it's a blessing, just as you were my blessing when you were born. Of course, that wasn't quite as joyful the circumstances as this is. It's just... oh!

Nick: You are an amazing mother. You always have been, and you've always given me your best. Thank you.

Jackie: No, thank you. And I tried. I mean, I-I really... I did try, though it was always very regretful that you never knew your real father. I always felt guilty about that, but you know what? Whatever disadvantages faced us, we did overcome them. And I couldn't be more proud of the man that you've become.

Nick: (Chuckles)

Jackie: Really, this baby...

Nick: Thank you.

Jackie: Is going to be so lucky to have a daddy like you. When I look at the two of you, and the love that you have for one another, and the love that you share, I'm just... totally overwhelmed. Bridget, you have shined the brightest light into Nicky's life. I mean, all those years of searching and solitude, and then you found this wonderful woman. You, Bridget, you're truly his saving grace. You know that, don't you?  (Whispers) A baby. (Normal voice) A baby! (Laughs) Owen, what do you say? It's gonna be a baby.

Owen: A baby.

Jackie: A baby! (Laughs) Oh, a baby. (Chuckles) (sighs)

Jackie: I wonder if I'm going to have a grandson or a granddaughter. I mean, I wouldn't mind either, but, of course, a little girl would be so fun to dress up and-

Nick: Mother?

Jackie: Hmm?

Nick: You dressing my daughter? She'd get booted out of kindergarten.

Jackie: (Laughs) Oh, Nicky, having another baby in the family is just... oh, wonderful. I mean, Bridget is wonderful with Jack. We know that. But just having a child that's totally yours together, it's gonna make this family complete.

Nick: You are really excited about this, aren't you?

Jackie: Yes, yes, of course I'm excited about it.

Nick: (Chuckles)

Jackie: Oh, God willing. God willing. This baby is gonna be a gift... a gift to us all.

Owen: Why? Why are you announcing your pregnancy when we're not even certain that Nick's the father?

Bridget: It wasn't my idea. It was Nickís.

Owen: Well, didn't you think that you could have maybe put him off until maybe after the paternity test?

Bridget: Of course I wanted to. I wanted to try, but he wanted to tell his mom. What am I supposed to say, no? She would have been so suspicious.

Owen: Bridget, we can't keep doing this. We can't go on like this. It's too much pressure on you not knowing who the father is. It's not good for you, and it's not good for the baby either.

Bridget: I know. You're right.

Owen: We gotta get a paternity test, and we gotta get this done now. We have to.

Bridget: Okay, fine. We'll do it.

Owen: Okay, so then what-- what do we do?

Bridget: Well, because Dr. Caspary ordered this C.V.S. genetic test 'cause of my medical history, I'll tell her everything and explain that we need to take a paternity test at the same time. I've been carrying this kit around in my purse this whole time knowing eventually we were gonna have to do this test. I just was too scared to ever bring it up. (Sighs) Okay.

Owen: What?

Bridget: Just--just--just rub the swab on each side of your cheek, and then put it back in the thing. (Sighs) Yeah, that's it.

Owen: Yeah. That's it? That's simple that's as simple as that?

Bridget: Pretty much. Isn't it crazy, knowing that it could change our entire lives?

Owen: Look, it's not going to. It wonít.

Bridget: It canít. Oh, God, I-I hope it doesnít. What are we gonna do if this baby isn't Nick's? (Sighs) My God, Owen, what if it turns out that you're the father?

Justin: That letter that you had me draw up-- did Donna take it with her?

Bill: Yeah. She was so distraught, she doesn't even know what's in it. I reminded her to give it to Eric.

Justin: Maybe we should take cover, 'cause all Hell is about to break loose.

Donna: I've had so many beautiful memories here... moving in, the wedding, becoming Mrs. Eric Forrester. It was--it was like a dream come true. I won't ever regret any of those moments. I'll always, always love you.

Eric: No, don't do this. Don't-- don't talk like that. It's not over.

Donna: Eric, I-I can't come back here. I can't come back here, not after what happened with my mother. Stephanie was involved, and it's just business as usual for you. I mean, Stephanie is still here.

Eric: Stephanie is leaving. She's leaving.

Donna: Oh, Eric, come on, not unless you literally push her out. (Sighs) She has her claws in you. This house--this house is hers. This estate is hers. This--this man is hers.

Eric: No. No. That's not true.

Donna: Yes, it is true. It is. You know, your family will always come first, Eric. And I don't blame you for that. It's one of the reasons why I fell in love with you. So just go back. Go back to them, your life. Drink your martinis. Play your piano. Run your company. Just... (sighs) Just be happy.

Eric: No. No, Donna, please. Please don't do this.

Donna: I will always cherish what we had. But my mother is gone. And it's because of Stephanie.

Eric: I know. I know. I know you blame Stephanie, but... but placing blame is not gonna bring her back.

Donna: No. I will always hold Stephanie responsible. She's the reason I will never... hold her hand again. She's the reason I'll never hear her sing, hear her laugh. You tell me to give Stephanie the benefit of the doubt, but I-I canít.

Eric: No.

Donna: (Sighs)

Eric: Please. I know that Stephanie has hurt you and she's hurt your family, but this is not about her. It's about us.

Donna: No.

Eric: It's about our marriage.

Donna: No.

Eric: We can save it. We can.

Donna: It's always, always about Stephanie. It always comes down to Stephanie. And you--you can't let her go, Eric. And I'm sorry. I love you too much to share you.

Eric: Now listen to me. Donna, I don't want to lose you. I'll do anything. I will leave-- I will leave this house. I will take you, and we will go some place else far away. I'll make it possible that you will never have to see Stephanie again. I promise you.

Donna: (Scoffs)

Eric: I've hurt you, I know. And I have, uh... I've disappointed you. And I'm sorry. I'll never do anything like that to you again. I promise.

Donna: (Sighs)

Eric: I'm gonna make you first in my life from now on. You have to stay with me. You can't leave, Donna. I love you. Please don't go. Please don't go.

Donna: (Sobs)
