Taylor: (Chuckles) Hello, my husband-to-be.
Whip: Hey, what do you say we just buck tradition and I--and I just head on down the hall to your room?
Taylor: You just can't wait to cut to the chase, can you? You want to get right to the honeymoon.
Whip: Well, no, actually, I'm--I'm having an issue. My cuff links, you know, they're--they're all messed up. I was wondering-- maybe you can help me with them?
Taylor: Are you insane? You know it's bad luck for you to see the bride before the wedding.
Whip: Okay, fine. Well, it's your fault if I look like a hobo.
Taylor: Oh, you'll look smashing, darling.
Whip: So, um, I trust you got your wedding dress on?
Taylor: Well, I'm not wearing it yet, but it's right over here, and I'm looking at it, and I'm telling you, you and Bridget have pulled off a miracle.
Whip: (Chuckles) Today's the day, Taylor. Today's the day that we start our life together.
Taylor: That's right. There's no backing out now. Do you know how long it takes me to do my hair and makeup?
Whip: Well, all right then. Then let's do it, huh? Let's have a wedding! Whoo-hoo!
Pam: (Laughs) (Singsong voice) Stephanie’s movin' into the guesthouse. Stephanie's movin' into the guesthouse.
Donna: Okay, uh, temporarily.
Pam: Hey, you don't look dressed for a wedding. (Gasps) Ooh, Eric didn't invite you, huh?
Pam: It's happening, Donna, you know that? It's only a question of when.
Donna: Okay, Pam.
Donna: Pam, w-what are you rattling on about now?
Pam: Eric. Your "honey bear." But not for long. He's gonna take Stephanie back, Donna. (Laughs)
Eric: Oh, my goodness. Look what you've done.
Stephanie: Well, hi. You're here.
Eric: Yeah. Look at this. This is beautiful.
Stephanie: It's, um, perfect for a little wedding, you know.
Eric: Yeah. You know, these-- these flower arrangements are exactly the same as the ones at our first wedding. You remember?
Stephanie: You remember that?
Eric: I'm an artist.
Thomas: You're the maid of honor at Mom's wedding. Oliver's the best man. Weird coincidence.
Steffy: Uh, it's not a coincidence. It's karma. He and I are meant to be. Mm.
Thomas: Why, because Hope likes him?
Steffy: No, because he's hot, and I think we'd be good together. Oliver is gonna spend the evening with a woman, not a little girl. I told you. I'm making my move.
Oliver: Hey, guys. Stephanie and Eric pointed me in this direction.
Steffy: Oliver, I am so happy that you're here.
Hope: Hey, Aunt Donna.
Donna: Oh, hi, sweetie.
Hope: Jeez, you look miserable.
Donna: Great. It's that obvious. Ever since Stephanie came back to this office, I've been dreading coming here, and now she and Eric are just whooping it up at the wedding, you know?
Hope: Yeah, I know how you feel. I'm stuck here while Steffy and Oliver are together at the wedding. I don't like it one bit.
Oliver: It's a beautiful day.
Steffy: Yes, it is. Too bad we can't go for a swim. You remember the pool, don't you?
Oliver: How could I forget? You gave me one heck of a kiss.
Steffy: I don't remember you fighting me off.
Oliver: You look great.
Steffy: You look good, too. Very... sexy. I think we make a hot couple-- as maid of honor and best man. But after the wedding, who knows what could happen?
Stephanie: Big day today.
Ridge: Sure is. Taylor's startin' a new chapter in her life, makin' new memories here. I'm happy for her.
Stephanie: There's lots of memories, wonderful memories, in this house for you. And now she's gonna share this house with Whip. It seems a little strange to me. (Sighs)
Steffy: Hi, Mom.
Steffy: Are you almost ready?
Taylor: Just about.
Steffy: Okay, good. Mom, I am just so happy for you. Like... (Sighs)
Taylor: You're really not too disappointed?
Steffy: What, that you're not remarrying Dad?
Steffy: Okay, I am a little bummed, but you are marrying a man who obviously loves you to pieces. And the only thing that really matters is how you feel.
Taylor: I'm happy, Steffy. I haven't been this happy in a long, long time.
Steffy: Mom, I love you.
Pam: Hey, Steph.
Stephanie: Hi. Oh, hi.
Pam: It looks so pretty in here.
Stephanie: It does, doesn't it?
Pam: And I brought my lemon bars.
Pam: Had to wrestle 'em away from Donnas. She's back at the office pouting and stuffing her face.
Jackie: Hello, everyone. Oh, Stephanie.
Stephanie: Oh, Jackie!
Jackie: Oh, I've missed you.
Stephanie: (Chuckles) I've missed you. Owen. Hi, Nick.
Stephanie: It's good to see all of you. I'm so happy you're here.
Eric: I hope you're not harboring any deep resentment from my stealing Stephanie away.
Jackie: Not the most joyous occasion, unlike today. Gosh, I love weddings. It just reminds me of how lucky I am to have such a wonderful and committed husband.
Oliver: Hey, coz, you decent?
Whip: Hey, Oliver, my main man.
Oliver: So this is Steffy’s bedroom, huh?
Whip: Yes, it is. Enjoy it. It's the last time you'll see it.
Oliver: (Chuckles) So you're really sure you want me to be your best man? Still time for a last-minute replacement.
Whip: You're not thinking of backing out on me, are you?
Oliver: No, man, I'm proud to be at your side.
Whip: Okay, good. Thanks. So listen, the only thing you've gotta worry about is, uh, making sure that you got the rings, okay? And not tripping and falling down and making a fool of yourself, but mostly about the rings.
Oliver: What rings?
Whip: What rings? What--what do you-- you want a repeat performance of when you were 5 years old? You're not too old for me to hang you by your underwear.
Oliver: I got it.
Whip: Hey. Whoa!
Whip: Look at this.
Aggie: Lookin' good, you guys. Hey, congratulations.
Whip: Thank you. Thank you so much. (Sighs) Oh, it's so good to have family here, especially since Mom couldn't make it back from her cruise.
Aggie: Oliver, did you give Whip his present?
Whip: What? Grandpa's flask?
Oliver: He had it on him when he married Grandma.
Oliver: It was a different time.
Whip: Yeah. Now we know why their marriage worked.
Aggie: (Laughs) You guys, come on. Don't knock it. They were married 60 years.
Whip: Yes, God bless 'em.
Aggie: We thought it would bring you good luck.
Whip: Thanks, guys. This means a lot. I still can't believe that a woman like Taylor would agree to marry me, or want to marry me.
Oliver: Neither can we.
Whip: (Chuckles sarcastically)
Stephanie: Do you think the children would ever, ever accept him leaving their mother for you? They won’t. Because ever time there's trouble, he's always going to turn to Taylor and the children that he had with her. You've just got to accept this. Your time with Ridge is over.
Bridget: (Sighs) Hi, Mom.
Brooke: Hi, honey.
Bridget: Are you okay? Is something wrong?
Brooke: No. (Sighs) I-I was just remembering all of the times when Stephanie would tell me Ridge and Taylor would end up together.
Bridget: Well, obviously, she was wrong.
Brooke: Yes, but Ridge isn't himself today.
Bridget: Cut him a little slack. It's a significant moment for him.
Bridget: I mean, Taylor’s been a really big part of his life.
Brooke: I know that he's just emotional. I'm really not worried. Our relationship is very solid. But this is definitely the end of an era for Ridge.
Whip: Come in. Oh, ridge.
Ridge: You wanted to see me?
Whip: Yeah. Come on in. (Clears throat)
Ridge: What's this all about?
Whip: Well, I, uh, I just wanted to make sure that we were cool.
Ridge: Whip, all I care about is that you're good to Taylor.
Whip: Ridge, I'm gonna take care of her. I promise you that. You have my word as a man. Now I'm gonna do everything that I can to make her happy. I am gonna love her, and I am gonna love her children. I'm not gonna do anything where I'm trying to replace anybody as a father. They have a great dad in you. I'm gonna be there for them as much as they want me to be.
Ridge: They're very supportive of their mother. But they're having a bit of a difficult time accepting this.
Whip: Seems you're having a bit of a difficult time accepting it, as well. It's okay. I understand. You've been married to two really great ladies, and Taylor is extraordinary. It must be hard to let somebody like that go.
Stephanie: I heard what, uh, Steffy said a few minutes ago. I--you know, those children of yours, they're--they're just putting on a good face for you.
Taylor: I know. I know. The kids are being very supportive. I know they wish that I were marrying their father, but Ridge has made it clear that that chapter of our life is over.
Stephanie: Well, I-- I guess I have to confess, part of me wishes that could still change, you know.
Taylor: Stephanie, please. Not today. This is my wedding day. I'm happy. Please be happy for me.
Donna: I wonder what's going on over at Taylor’s.
Hope: Mm, don't you wish we could be flies on the wall?
Donna: (Chuckles) Well, I could paint you a picture. Stephanie is barking orders at everyone.
Hope: Oh, for sure.
Donna: Yes, saving her seat next to her with her life. That's for her precious little Eric.
Hope: Mm, and Steffy’s sashaying around, batting her eyelashes at Oliver.
Donna: (Sighs) Well, at least it's a good day for your mother.
Hope: Oh, yeah, this is huge. No more worrying about Dad and Taylor.
Brooke: You look terrific.
Whip: Yeah? I feel even better.
Brooke: (Chuckles) You're a very happy man.
Whip: Yes, yes. And you're a very happy woman.
Whip: No more Ridge and Taylor. Come on. You gotta admit you're just a tad bit excited about it.
Brooke: (Laughs) Okay, yeah. A tad.
Brooke: Mm-hmm. I can't believe it. She's finally over him.
Whip: Hey, give me a little credit for that, will you?
Brooke: Of course I do. You obviously gave her a new perspective. I'm thrilled for you, Whip. Congratulations. I'm thrilled for all of us. You're gonna have a marvelous life together.
(Knock on door)
Taylor: Oh, is it time to put my dress on, Steffy?
Ridge: (Sighs) Big day.
Taylor: Yeah. Yeah, it is.
Ridge: I, um... I just wanted to say... (Sighs) I, um...
Steffy: You better get ready. It's almost showtime.
Oliver: The end of your freedom's near.
Whip: (Chuckles) Can't be soon enough.
Oliver: You've gotta be a masochist.
Whip: You know what? You're gonna find the right girl one day, and then you'll see. Get outta here. I'm fine.
Nick: So you're doing a reading?
Aggie: Yeah, something special for Whip and Taylor from me.
Nick: I'm sure it'll be lovely.
Aggie: Thank you.
Brooke: Honey, don't let aggie get to you.
Bridget: I'm not, Mom. I'm not. Just don't worry about me. Where's your husband? Where is Ridge?
Brooke: I don't know. I haven't seen him for a while.
Stephanie: Excuse me. Have you seen Ridge?
Eric: No, not for the last few minutes.
Stephanie: Mm. Well, I... (Sighs) wish it were he and Taylor today.
Eric: (Chuckles) Stephanie, Taylor is marrying somebody else today. You're gonna have to accept that.
Stephanie: I can dream, can't I?
Man: Would everyone please be seated? We're about to begin.
Brooke: Where have you been?
Ridge: Sorry. Just something I had to do.
(Wagner’s "Bridal Chorus from 'Lohengrin'" playing)
Hope: Well, I might as well be useful while I'm here. Dad still has a lot of books to put away. Hmm. What is this? Oh, wow. It's an old photo album of Dad and Taylor.
Donna: Let me see.
Hope: Wow, she must have made this for him years ago, and he kept it all this time.
Hope: There are a lot of memories here.
Donna: Oh, my goodness. Oh, yes, well, that's what they are. Memories. Of course, Stephanie wouldn't see it that way.
Hope: Oh, no.
Donna: She'd see it as a testament to the greatest love story of all time. Hmm.
(Wagner's "Bridal Chorus from 'Lohengrin'" playing)
Whip: You are the most beautiful bride I have ever seen.
Taylor: And you make a very dashing groom.
Man: Taylor and Whip would like to welcome all of you today as they join themselves in holy matrimony. This occasion marks the celebration of love and commitment with which this man and this woman begin their life together. We are all here today before God to witness the union of Whip and Taylor. As guests of the bride and groom, you have the honor of bearing witness to this blessed and joyous event. By gathering here, we assure this couple that our hearts are in tune with theirs and that each and every one of you in this room pledges your wholehearted support of this union. If there's anyone here who has anything to say, now is the time, or forever hold your peace.
Ridge: I have something to say.
Ridge: I'm not gonna let this happen.
