Owen: Nick.

Nick: Hello. Somebody want to fill me in on what's going on?

(Indistinct conversations)

(Upbeat music playing)

Brooke: Honey, you look so beautiful.

Hope: Oh, Mom. (Chuckles)

Brooke: Oh, you do. You do. I just want to let you know I'm not gonna stay too long, and I'll be upstairs if you need me.

Hope: Okay.

Brooke: (Giggles)

(Cell phone rings)

Brooke: Oliver?

Hope: Maybe.

Hope: Hey.

Oliver: Hey, yourself.

Hope: You on your way?

Oliver: Yeah, leaving soon. You still want me to bring music? My own mix?

Hope: Yeah, trust me, the guy they hired's kinda lame. Don't disappoint me, okay? I'm, like, the most popular girl in school right now 'cause my date's a real deejay.

Oliver: (Laughs) Entertainment specialist.

Hope: Right. That's what I meant. (Chuckles)

Oliver: Well, I hope you're ready to show off your dance moves with me. (Chuckles) All right. Yeah. Yeah, with music, okay? I'll see you in a bit. Bye.

Steffy: You're not seriously going to that high school dance, are you?

Whip: Oh. That makes much more sense.

Taylor: What?

Whip: Oh, um, your text. Let's see, what does it say? Oh, yes, um, "Meet me at my pool. Come hungry. Wear a suit."

Taylor: (Laughs)

Whip: "X-O-X-O-X-O."

Taylor: I guess I should have been a little more specific.

Whip: No, no, no. The pool part probably should have tipped me off.

Taylor: Mm. So, um, now I guess you only have one option.

Whip: Mm.

Taylor: What are you doing?

Whip: Hey, it's only fair.

Taylor: I'm not the one who forgot my suit.

Whip: Mm, yeah, but you are the hostess, and you don't want to be rude, make me feel uncomfortable, do you?

Girl: So is he here yet?

Hope: Uh, no, not yet.

Girl: If he's as cute as you say--

Hope: Um, you guys remember my mom, right?

Girl: Hi, Mrs. Forrester.

Girl: Thank you so much for letting us have the dance here.

Brooke: I just hope you have a fabulous time.

Hope: Oh, we're going to.

Brooke: Oh, is that your Spanish teacher? You know, I've been meaning to e-mail her about something.

Hope: Oh, Mom, please don't embarrass me. You know your Spanish is terrible.

Brooke: Oh, honey.

Hope: She is always trying to practice Spanish with Miss Fuentes.

Girl: Look, I'm really sorry for mentioning Oliver in front of your mom.

Hope: Oh, no, she's cool. It's just I don't-- I don't want her to think that I'm all into him.

Girl: (Chuckles)

Girl: But you are, right?

Hope: Totally. (Giggles) I can't wait for you guys to meet him.

Oliver: What are you doing?

Steffy: Well, I know you don't want to hang out with a bunch of teenagers at some dorky dance, so you want to go for a swim instead?

Oliver: Look, I promised Hope. This is a big deal to her.

Steffy: Come on. You can tell her something came up. Unh-unh.

Oliver: Sorry. I don't want to disappoint Hope. I like her, Steffy. I like her a lot.

Steffy: Good. I'm glad. I was hoping you'd say that. I need you to like her if I'm gonna hire you for this project.

Oliver: What?

Steffy: You heard me.

Oliver: Hire me for what?

Steffy: I want to show you a few videos. It's for "Hope for the Future" campaign that we shot. The look is great. But the music needs something new, and I think you're the man, if you're interested.

Oliver: Awesome. I'd love the opportunity.

Steffy: Great. Let's get to work then.

Bridget: (Stammers) I'm just upset about the baby, and...

Nick: Thank you, Owen. Thanks for the support.

Bridget: I'm gonna be okay, baby. Thank you.

Nick: Yes, you will.

Aggie: Oh, I'm sorry. I was looking for Jackie.

Nick: Hi.

Aggie: Yeah, welcome back.

Nick: Thanks.

Aggie: (Stammers) I'll just--I'll go.

Bridget: Um, you know, actually, would you stay, please? I just wanted to talk to you for a few minutes. Do you mind, Nick?

Nick: Sure.

Bridget: Yeah, I get really overwhelmed sometimes, but I'm okay.

Nick: All right.

Aggie: How are you? Did you have a nice time away?

Bridget: Yeah, it was lovely. Thank you. Listen, I'm sure this won't come as a surprise to you, but your services are no longer needed here. So you're fired.

Aggie: I'm fired?

Bridget: Stephanie, um, is no longer with the company, and you were hired to be her assistant. So the position has simply been eliminated. I'm sorry.

Aggie: I understand. And I'm sorry, too. It was wrong. What I did was wrong, you know? I should have come clean with you from the very beginning-- somebody that I have grown to love and respect. It was wrong. But I never would have acted on my feelings for Nick. I respect your marriage, and I never would have crossed that line, any more than you would have. So I'm sorry. Things should have ended much differently.

Whip: It was delicious, wasn't it?

Taylor: Mm.

Whip: Mm?

Taylor: Well, you cooked for me. It's the least I could do for you.

Whip: Well, no, I wasn't just talking about the dinner.

Taylor: Mm.

Whip: I hope you know what you do to me.

Hope: Don't worry, there-- there'll be better music later. It's on its way.

Brooke: Hope.

Hope: Oh, sorry.

Brooke: Why didn't you tell me that your Spanish teacher Senora Fuentes thought your midterm presentation was muy bueno?

Hope: Mom, isn't it about time that you...

Brooke: Uh, I should be leaving? Yes, I-I am. I'm just--

Hope: You're just waiting for Oliver to get here?

Brooke: Maybe.

Hope: Mom, you really don't have to worry.

Brooke: Oh, I know. I know. He seems like a very nice young man.

Hope: But?

Brooke: But... there is one concern.

Hope: Steffy?

Brooke: Oh, yeah.

Hope: Don't worry about Steffy, okay? She may have lured Oliver over to her pool the other night, but nothing--nothing like that will ever happen again. Oliver wants nothing to do with her.

Oliver: Yeah. You need better music.

Steffy: So you think you can put something together?

Oliver: Absolutely.

Steffy: Cool, okay.

Oliver: But not tonight.

Steffy: What?

Oliver: I have to get to the dance.

Steffy: Oh, my God, Oliver. I'm giving you an opportunity for employment here.

Oliver: And I appreciate it, but I can't let Hope down. I've already done that once before. I promised her it wouldn't happen again.

Steffy: Hope will understand. It's for her campaign.

Oliver: I'll work on it first thing in the morning.

Steffy: I need the final product first thing in the morning. If you can give your input on the movies and try to rework the music, then I'll try to convince my dad to give you the job.

Oliver: Thanks. I will.

Steffy: Okay.

Oliver: But it has to wait until the morning. Look, I know you have ulterior motives, and I'm flattered. You're a gorgeous girl.

Steffy: Mm-hmm. So then why are you backing away?

Oliver: Are you really interested in me? Or is it some warped plan about the Logans?

Steffy: Obviously, you still think I have issues.

Oliver: We all have issues.

Steffy: Okay, I'm gonna tell you something. I was dating this guy Rick, and I fell for him really, really hard. It didn't end well. He was using me, and I didn't even know it. Till this day, I don't even know if he really felt anything for me or not, and I've been kind of messed up ever since. I pulled the same kind of thing on somebody else, and I haven't really been able to open myself up to anyone until now.

Oliver: Until now? What do you mean?

Steffy: I mean right now.

Taylor: What are you looking for?

Whip: Oh, something-- there we go. Something I got for you. Okay. Here you go.

Taylor: What's this?

Whip: Come on. Go ahead.

Taylor: Whip.

Whip: Open it.

Taylor: Oh, my goodness.

Whip: You like 'em?

Taylor: Whip, these are gorgeous.

Whip: Yeah. They'll look even better on.

Taylor: I can't accept these.

Whip: Yes, you can.

Taylor: I can’t.

Whip: Yes, you can. No.

Taylor: But--

Whip: When you-- when you wear 'em, I just want you to-- to think about how much I love you. I just-- I feel so lucky. These past few months, Taylor, have been like a dream to me. I mean, I'm sp-- I'm spending all of this time with this--this beautiful-- this beautiful woman who's, you know, kind and caring, and she's also fun-loving and intelligent. (Sighs) I just have never experienced anything like this before. And I-- and I want you to know that even if you-- you don't feel that way-- the same way I-I--

Taylor: I love you. I do love you.

(Indistinct conversations)

Girl: (Mouthing words)

Hope: (Sighs) He'll be here. Any minute now, he'll be here.

Nick: Hey. How'd it go with Aggie?

Bridget: Uh, fine. I fired her. We don't need her anymore.

Nick: I don't see how--

Bridget: She had feelings for you, sweetheart, and she admitted it. Look, Stephanie’s gone. Our baby is gone. I just don't see her fitting in our lives anymore.

Nick: Right. I wish we would have discussed it. (Sighs) Um...

Bridget: (Chuckles) Well, I wish we had discussed a lot of things about Aggie, too, but we didn't, did we?

Bridget: I'm sorry. I'm sorry. That was-- that wasn't fair. That was unnecessary. Sweetheart, we are talking so much about moving forward, and for me, dealing with Aggie day in and day out-- I didn't think it was gonna be very good for us. It wasn't gonna be very good for me. And I really want to move forward. I'm sorry. I just needed to let her go.

(Cell phone rings)

Steffy: It's my dad. (Sighs)

Steffy: Excuse me.

Oliver: Sure.

Steffy: Hey, what's up?

Oliver: I'm just gonna watch the next video.

Steffy: Yeah. Do you want me to meet with you tomorrow? Okay, what's the info? Okay. Yeah, I can do that. Okay. Okay, I'll bring the files, the samples--I got everything. Yep, okay. All righty. Well, then we can-- yeah, we'll meet. Why don't we have lunch, and then, uh, we'll go from there. Okay. Sorry about that. (Sighs)

Oliver: It's, uh, no problem. Look, I'll work on the music all night tonight. You'll have it first thing tomorrow morning. I'm going to the dance.

Steffy: Ollie.

Oliver: I mean it.

Steffy: Okay. Whatever floats your boat. Have fun dancing with your high school set, but remember, we're working first thing tomorrow morning. See ya.

Aggie: What the hell is that?

Oliver: Aggie!

Aggie: I don't believe this. Bridget and Owen? Where did you get that?

Oliver: I'm sorry. I didn't mean for you to--

Aggie: No, no, no. Bridget and Owen? My God!

Oliver: I came home. I didn't know it was them.

Aggie: Oh, so wait. You shot this--this footage? Thi--this is recent?

Oliver: Yeah.

Aggie: What? She's--she's-- she's having an affair?

Oliver: Aggie, calm down.

Aggie: No, no, no. Oh, no. She fired me today.

Oliver: What?

Aggie: Yeah, she fired me, and I actually said that I understood. She has this way--Bridget-- of making me feel like I don't deserve to breathe her air, and the whole time, she--she's having an affair? When--when did you record that?

Oliver: Uh...

Aggie: Hey. When?

Oliver: The--the night you lost the baby.

Aggie: Unbelievable.

Oliver: What-- what are you doing? Hey, you can't take my phone.

Aggie: All right, here. Look, use mine. "Little Miss Perfect" has some explaining to do.

Bridget: What do you think? Was it unfair letting her go?

Nick: Bridget, Aggie's not a threat to our marriage, no matter what her feelings are. You're my wife, okay? You're the only woman I want to be with, and I will never betray you. The vows that I took are sacred to me.

Bridget: I know they are. I love you so much, Nick. I hate feeling this way.

Nick: But tell me. Feeling what way? What?

Bridget: I don't know. I don't--I don't-- I don't even know how to say it. (Stammers) I don't know.

Nick: Bridget, hey, y-you haven't done anything wrong.

Bridget: Then maybe I just need help moving forward. Maybe that's--that's-- that's what I need. Can you help me do that? Lock the door. Lock the door. Mm.

(Indistinct conversation)

Brooke: Still no Oliver?

Hope: He should be here by now.

Oliver: Here he is.

Brooke: Oh.

Hope: Oliver, you're--you're here.

Oliver: Sorry. I got--I got tied up. My sister--what a mess. It was-- (Stammers)

Hope: What?

Oliver: Hey, uh, this is your night. You look amazing. I've already got off to a late start. No more heavy stuff.

Brooke: Okay, um, I'm gonna go upstairs, and you guys have a great time.

Hope: Thanks, Mom.

Oliver: Mrs. Forrester.

Brooke: Oliver.

Hope: Come on. I want you to meet some of my friends.

Oliver: Before we do that... (Clicks tongue)

Aggie: Sorry if I'm interrupting.

Nick: Oh.

Bridget: Oh, well, you are, so, uh--

Aggie: Yeah, uh, this can't wait.

Nick: Is there something wrong?

Aggie: Oh, yeah, something is definitely wrong. I know what you're up to, Bridget. I think it's time your husband found out.
