Bridget: Mm. Did you let me sleep in?
Nick: I did. You were just tossing and turning all night, so...
Bridget: I didn't sleep very much.
Nick: Right. A lot on your mind?
Bridget: You think?
Nick: Because you-- you talked in your sleep a lot.
Bridget: I did not.
Nick: No, you really did. A lot.
Bridget: What was I saying?
Nick: Well, the first time, you kind of... (Snorts) you did, like, one of those... (Snorts) and then you went... (Snorts) (Groans) "I love my husband so much"...
Nick: "And I--" (Snorts) "and--and I forgive him for everything he's ever done." (Sighs)
Nick: Mm-hmm, yeah.
Bridget: That doesn't sound like me.
Nick: Yeah, and then you did it another time. The second time I heard you, you went... (Snorts) (Groans) "and sometimes I could just kill him."
Bridget: Oh, yeah, that sounds like me.
Nick: Yeah? So I had to sleep with one eye open, which isn't very easy, you know.
Bridget: Yeah. I-I can't imagine. But it is probably wise. I mean, who knows what an angry wife could do in the middle of the night? Especially after a day like yesterday. (Giggles)
Nick: We okay?
Bridget: We're okay.
Owen: All right, good.
Pam: Hey, uh, Whip, you think there's enough balloons?
Pam: 'Cause as president of the Jackie M. party planning committee, I-I usually like to have a few day's notice before I can throw a really rockin' party.
Jackie: Pam, Pam, Pam, Pam, it's splendid. Really, you've outdone yourself.
Pam: Okay, thanks. Sandy!
Owen: Welcome back.
Sandy: Oh, my gosh.
Jackie: Oh, we missed you.
Sandy: Thank you. I missed you guys, too. I can't believe this is all for me.
Jackie: Well, we heard you were in the hospital, and what better way than to throw you a little party to welcome you back?
Sandy: Nobody's ever done anything like this for me before. Thank you. And I-I really do feel like I'm part of the family now.
Nick: According to my calculations, we have another 2 minutes and 30 seconds to make out before we have to leave.
Nick: What's the matter? What's--what's-- why do you have that frowning, furrowed brow look that you do? What is it?
Bridget: Oh, I don't know. I'm just thinking.
Nick: Oh, no, please don't do that. Come on. No thinking, okay? None. Please? What is it? What are you thinking?
Bridget: I'm just worried, honey.
Nick: What? What about?
Bridget: The baby. Agnes.
Whip: Pure sparkling cider for the lady with the baby.
Sandy: Oh, thank you.
Pam: And a lemon bar?
Sandy: Oh, well, thank you. I'm not really hungry right now.
Pam: Oh, okay.
Sandy: But maybe later.
Pam: Oh, thanks.
Jackie: So how are you doing, Sandy? Really?
Sandy: I am fantastic.
Sandy: Yeah, thank you. I haven't been able to say that in a very long time. But I-I'm incredibly grateful for all of this, for everything that you guys are doing for me-- this party, all of it. It's just--it's just so nice to have such love and support from all of you.
Owen: Hey, we were worried.
Sandy: That is so kind. Thank you. And thank you for letting my brother stay in your friend's beach house.
Owen: Oh, yeah, of course. Are you kidding me? You're like family now.
Owen: We're just glad that you're okay.
Sandy: Me, too. You know, I haven't exactly-- I haven't exactly been an open book with-- with any of you. I've been a little bit guarded, but I really do feel like we're all part of a family now, and I want to share something with you about, um, something that happened to me and why I was in the hospital.
Jackie: Well, we were very concerned, all of us, that it was to do with the baby.
Sandy: No, you know what? Thankfully, the baby's just fine.
Jackie: Thank goodness.
Sandy: I had a little cramping and some spotting, but it's--it's better now. Um, actually, I got into an altercation with a man from my past, a man who raped me five years ago.
Pam: Good lord.
Jackie: Sandy! (Sighs)
Sandy: I really--I really just--I couldn't deal with it, um, before now, but Nick pushed me to have strength and to get justice, to fight to get my life back, and I did. My life is changed because of Nick. (Sniffles)
Nick: The baby is going to be fine, because Dr. Caspary wouldn't have released Sandy if that wasn't the case.
Bridget: Agnes. You mean Agnes.
Nick: Right. Agnes.
Bridget: Yeah, I know that the baby's okay for now. How can I not worry, though, after everything that we've been through? You know, Dr. Caspary put Agnes on medication. How do we know that she's even responsible enough to take it?
Nick: She'll take it.
Bridget: We don't know that, Nick. We know zero about this woman.
Nick: Bridget, everything is going to work out fine.
Bridget: Lord willing. (Sighs) I just feel so taken advantage of.
Nick: You have every right to feel that way. (Chuckles) And I'm, again, sorry that I--
Bridget: Honey, I don't blame you. I donít. I know you were just being sensitive to what she was going through, and you wanted to help her. I love you for that. And you know what? I am just gonna be positive the next couple of months. I just have to get through till the end of the pregnancy. Right? And then everything's gonna be perfect.
Jackie: So this happened five years ago?
Owen: Wait, and you just tracked this guy down?
Sandy: My D.N.A. evidence kit, along with a lot of others, was tied up in some cold storage somewhere.
Jackie: That's appalling.
Sandy: The police are working through them all now. They're going after the offenders, but there wasn't a D.N.A. match for my attacker. Um, Nick had a hunch about this photographer, Graham Darros.
Owen: Yeah. No, he's high-profile. He's shootin' the new Forrester campaign.
Sandy: Not anymore he's not. Nick got his D.N.A. evidence.
Owen: Wait, Graham Darros is the guy who did this--
Sandy: Yes, and thanks to Nick, we were-- we were able to prove it, so Graham Darros is behind bars.
Jackie: (Sighs) I am so proud of Nicky.
Sandy: This is-- this is all because of him. I mean, if it wasn't for Nick, I would still be trapped in those horrible memories, in pain and in fear. But because of him, Graham Darros is behind bars, and he will never be able to hurt another woman again because of Nick. I'm free.
Jackie: Sandy, I'm so sorry for what you've been through.
Pam: You are a real fighter, kid.
Owen: You know what? To Sandy for finally getting justice.
Sandy: I will drink to that.
Bridget: Uh, what's going on here?
Pam: We're throwing a party for Sandy.
Bridget: Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Bridget: No, no. This party is over.
Jackie: Bridget what--what-- what's the matter?
Owen: Yeah, we just wanted to welcome Sandy here.
Bridget: Her name actually isn't Sandy, is it? It's a really long story, but her name is Agnes. And we're all gonna call her Agnes from now on.
Jackie: This--this is all just a little bit confusing. "Sandy Sommers" is not her real name?
Owen: Well, evidently not.
Owen: This is gonna take some getting used to, having to call her "Agnes."
Whip: Aggie. I think she prefers being called Aggie.
Jackie: You've been awfully quiet, Whip. Come to think of it, you and, uh, Agnes have been rather chummy since she started working here. Did you know about this?
Taylor: Hi, everyone.
Whip: Taylor, hi.
Whip: Uh, come on in.
Taylor: I'm a little early for our date, so...
Whip: No, no, you're--
Taylor: I could wait outside if you--
Whip: It's fine. It's actually perfect timing. I was just about to tell Owen and Jackie a little story about aggie.
Taylor: Who's Aggie?
Jackie: Actually, Sandy... (chuckles) is now Agnes. Oh, she prefers Aggie, though.
Taylor: Why do I feel like I just walked in on a game of "Who's on first?"
Jackie: Oh, we are all just a little bit confused.
Whip: Look, it's a-- it's a very long story, and I'll explain all the details to you all later...
Whip: But right now, I just want to tell you a little bit about Aggie.
Jackie: You do know more than you let on.
Whip: Yes, I've-- (sighs) I've known Aggie for quite a few years now. But before you go passing any kind of judgment on her, Jackie--
Jackie: Judgment? Excuse me? She's carrying my grandchild. We don't even know who she is.
Whip: She is a terrific woman.
Whip: Look, she went through a very, very rough time, and she got lost for a while. She wanted to do something positive with her life, so that's how she got involved in the surrogacy program.
Owen: Wait a second, Whip. You guys seem very close. How long have you known her?
Whip: Well, we have quite a history. You could say that, uh, Aggie Jones and I, uh, go way back.
Jackie: Jones? Oh, my God, you two were married?
Whip: No-- (Laughs) well, actually, um, yeah, we were.
Owen: Oh, wow.
Whip: I mean, we were-- we were very young, but, uh, I was actually 9, and she was 5. And--
Whip: Our oldest cousin decided to dress us up as bride and groom. Aggie and I are cousins.
Nick: Yeah, come in.
Nick: Oh, hey. Uh, Bridgetís not here right now. She went to pick something up.
Sandy: It was kind of crazy earlier.
Nick: Yeah, she's, uh, she's still upset.
Sandy: That was clear. I get it, though. I do, and I'm just gonna have to work extra hard to earn back her trust, I guess.
Nick: This might not be such a good idea, you know-- you and me alone together.
Sandy: Nick, I just want to talk to you.
Nick: Maybe you should just wait until Bridget gets back.
Sandy: Wow. It's gonna be like that now?
Nick: I just don't want to hurt her any more than I already have.
Sandy: Listen, just hear me out, okay?
Nick: (Sighs) Okay.
Sandy: I never meant to get you into any kind of trouble. You've been so great to me, Nick. You know, you really have, and I'm the one who begged you to keep the secret from your wife. You wanted to tell her all along. I begged you not to, and you respected my wishes, and now you're in trouble with your wife, and I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry for that, Nick.
Bridget: Hey-- what are you doing here? I thought I made it pretty clear for you to stay away from my husband.
Sandy: Bridget, I'm glad that you're here. I was just apologizing to Nick.
Bridget: Hmm. For what?
Nick: For putting me in an awkward position.
Bridget: Oh, good, 'cause, well, that you certainly have done.
Sandy: And I want to apologize to you as well.
Bridget: I don't really care about anything other than the baby.
Sandy: I got that.
Bridget: And beyond that, I have nothing further to discuss with you.
Bridget: 'Cause I'm completely done with pretending we were friends.
Sandy: I wasn't pretending.
Bridget: I was friends actually with a, uh, Sandy Sommers.
Nick: H-Honey, Sandy's doing the best she can here.
Bridget: Nick, please do not defend her, and don't call her that. Her name is Agnes. And I thought I told you no more private meetings with my husband.
Sandy: I was just apologizing.
Bridget: I don't care what you were doing.
Nick: Honey, maybe, uh, you're coming on a little strong here.
Bridget: 'Cause we have a business deal, and that's it. We signed a contract. You know, actually, honey, I think we might need to get a new contract with the actual real name of the surrogate we hired and not some fictitious creation of hers.
Sandy: Would that make you feel better, Bridget? Because I would take care of that.
Bridget: What will make me feel better is making sure that nothing gets in the way of our getting a healthy and beautiful baby.
Sandy: Nobody wants that more than I do.
Bridget: Really? 'Cause if you were truly concerned about that, I don't think you would be out there trying to chase bad guys. Don't get me wrong, please. I understand your need for justice. I do. But you have a baby growing inside of you. You don't need to be all vigilante right now.
Sandy: Maybe if you'd been through what I've been through, you'd understand.
Bridget: My priority will always be my baby.
Sandy: Okay, your baby is a huge priority for me as well. Whether you believe it or not, Dr. Caspary said that the baby is fine. You both heard that.
Bridget: She also told me that she gave you some medication. I'm assuming that you're taking it. Did you take it three times a day like clockwork? Because it's very important for the health of the baby.
Sandy: You don't have to treat me like this. I'm not a child.
Bridget: Really? Oh, see, I-I wouldn't know that, because I don't know you.
Whip: Sorry about all the craziness around here.
Taylor: Well, I'm a psychiatrist. I'm pretty much used to it.
Whip: Yeah, I'm sure we'd give a lot of your patients a run for their money.
Taylor: Now I won't argue that.
Whip: (Chuckles) Thanks for meeting me here.
Taylor: Well, I've been looking forward to our date.
Whip: Yeah, me too. I've actually been thinking about it since I woke up this morning. Well, actually, I've been thinking about it all week. (Chuckles)
Taylor: So where are you taking me? What are we doing? You gonna take me to dinner or what?
Whip: Oh, oh, curious, huh? Well, don't worry about it. I've got it all worked out down to the last detail. I-I think you're gonna like it. I mean, I-I hope you will.
Taylor: I have no doubt I will.
Taylor: I just want to know how you have time to make all these special plans with everything you have going on right now.
Whip: Well, doing nice things for you is easy. You're one of those people who always puts others first. You want to make sure everybody's happy, healthy, sane, whatever. I think it's-- I think it's time somebody puts you first. And I think I'm just the guy to do that.
Taylor: So that would make you the guy?
Whip: Mm-hmm, yep. Me. That's right.
Taylor: You're the man.
Whip: Well, self-appointed.
Taylor: The one, uh-huh.
Whip: Self-appointed. But, uh, I just want you to know that I have officially... (Clicks tongue) taken myself off the market. I know. Hearts are breaking all over Los Angeles. (Laughs)
Whip: Oh, I love making you smile. You know what, Taylor? I want to make you feel special, because you know what? You deserve that after sharing Ridge all these years. I want you to know that you got all of me... whether you like it or not.
Bridget: Honey, I'll be down in the cutting room. I expect that you'll be gone when I get back.
Sandy: So now I'm a pariah?
Nick: Well, she has a lot to deal with.
Sandy: I know. I get that. I just think she's--
Nick: I have to ask you something.
Sandy: (Chuckles) Okay.
Nick: Brooke said that she overheard you say... that you love me. Wh--Why would you say that?
Sandy: I don't know. I don't know. Maybe it's because of what we went through together. You know, think about when you-- when you can came into my life, Nick. I was--I was isolated. I was totally alone... (Sniffles) shut down on the inside, and totally empty. And look what you've given me. Look what I have. I have this amazing job now. I have my confidence back. Peace, freedom-- that's all because of you. It's the first time in five years that I have serenity. It's only natural, I think, that I would have feelings for you. Does that answer your question?
Nick: Actually, no. I don't think it does.
Sandy: (Sniffles) You want to know if I love you? You want to know? Yes. I do, Nick. I love you.
