Nick: Again, I'm-- I'm sorry. I should have told you.

Bridget: When were you planning on telling me, Nick? When our child was born? 'Cause I've been trusting this woman that's been lying to me and keeping secrets from me, and you've been helping her do that. Do you have any idea how much that hurts me?

Oliver: I can't believe my sis went after the guy.

Whip: Yeah.

Oliver: Wow.

Whip: Not the wisest thing.

Oliver: I mean, she's pregnant, right?

Whip: Yeah. I wonder how Hope's doing.

Oliver: Hope?

Whip: Yeah, the girl that Graham went after. They brought her to the hospital.

Oliver: Wait, Hope?

Whip: Yeah. What about her?

Oliver: I-I-I met a girl named Hope at the coffeehouse the other day. She was--she was looking at photo proofs with this guy.

Whip: Blonde, blue eyes, very pretty?

Oliver: Try beautiful. They took her to the hospital?

Whip: Yeah. Graham tried to do to her what he did to Aggie.

Oliver: Oh, she's the girl he was trying to...

Whip: Yeah, yeah, yeah. He didn't, though. Don't worry about it.

Oliver: Oh, my God.

Whip: I'm sure she's still pretty messed up, though.

Oliver: Mm.

Hope: (Moans) You're still here.

Ridge: We will leave when you leave. You do know that you are my daughter?

Hope: (Sighs) Not biologically.

Ridge: Sweetheart, the way I feel about you has nothing to do with D.N.A. I love you as much as any of my children. Please tell me you realize that.

Hope: (Whispers) Yeah. (Sighs)

Ridge: You feeling a little better?

Hope: Yeah.

Ridge: Good, because we have to get you out of here and back to work.

Hope: Work?

Ridge: Yes, my dear. You and I are gonna make fashion history with this "Hope for the Future" campaign.

Hope: (Sighs)

Brooke: (Chuckles)

(Knock on door)

Lt. Baker: I didn't mean to interrupt.

Brooke: Oh, Lieutenant, come in.

Ridge: Hey. What's the, uh, latest?

Lt. Baker: Well, Graham Darros is in custody. He'll be arraigned tomorrow and held without bail.

Brooke: (Exhales) Excellent. Good. Thank you.

Lt. Baker: As far as Miss Sommers is concerned, I haven't heard anything about how she's doing now. Well, she was with Darros when he was apprehended. Apparently, there was some altercation.

Brooke: What? Sandy? What happened?

Lt. Baker: Well, all I know is that she was experiencing some pain. I understand Nick Marone brought her here to the hospital.

Brooke: She's here?

Lt. Baker: I believe so, yes.

Brooke: Oh, honey, I've gotta go see her.

Hope: Yeah, yeah, of course. Go.

Brooke: Okay.

Ridge: You go ahead. I'll stay here with Hope.

Nick: Bridget... please don't blame Sandy. This was not her fault.

Bridget: (Sighs) I can't believe that you're trying to defend her right now. She asked you to lie to your wife, and that's exactly what you did. I know our baby could be in danger, and there is nothing I can do about it.

Dr. Caspary: Bridget? Nick.

Bridget: How, uh, how is the baby? Is--is it gonna be okay?

Dr. Caspary: Why don't we step inside? I'll talk to all of you there.

Bridget: Yeah, of course.

Sandy: Dr. Caspary.

Dr. Caspary: How are you feeling?

Sandy: Um... okay. Fine.

Dr. Caspary: Any more pain?

Sandy: Just--no. What did you see on the ultrasound?

Dr. Caspary: The baby's fine.

Sandy: Thank you, God.

Dr. Caspary: You're a very lucky woman.

Sandy: Thank you. Thank you, God. Thank you, God.

Dr. Caspary: We'll keep you here a little longer for observation. Then you can go home. I'll be in to check on you later.

Sandy: Thank you so much.

Nick: (Sighs) Amen.

Bridget: Nick, I would like a few minutes alone with Agnes.

Nick: I'll be right outside.

Bridget: Thanks.

Sandy: Bridget, it's gonna be fine. I mean, everything is gonna be... it's gonna be okay, I swear.

Bridget: Just like that everything's gonna be fine? I don't think so.

Ridge: I'm gonna check with your doctor.

Hope: Dad? (Sighs)

Ridge: I love you, sweetheart. Don't ever doubt that. I'll be right back.

Hope: (Sighs) Oliver?

Oliver: You remembered. At least you don't have amnesia.

Whip: (Sighs) That's--that's great news, Nick, really.

Nick: It's a huge relief.

Whip: Yeah.

Nick: Huge. Whip, would you excuse me?

Whip: Mm-hmm.

Nick: Thanks.

Woman: Dr. White, call your office.

Nick: Brooke?

Brooke: Oh. Sandy and the baby, how are they?

Nick: They're fine. They're fine.

Brooke: Oh, thank God.

Nick: Yeah, yeah.

Brooke: And thank you for saving my daughter.

Nick: Well, you can-- you can thank Sandy for that.

Brooke: Can I see her?

Nick: Well, you could, but, um...

Brooke: What?

Nick: Bridget's in there now. She knows.

Brooke: Well, she was bound to find out, especially after all of this. Well, how is she taking it?

Nick: Not well. She feels betrayed.

Sandy: I know that you're upset, Bridget. I would be, too. But I need you to understand--

Bridget: Understand what? Understand that you had to mislead me and that you had to convince my husband of the same thing?

Sandy: That's exactly what I need you to understand.

Bridget: Should I also understand that the connection we shared and the closeness that we had, that was all just part of an act?

Sandy: It wasn't an act. Shouldn't we both just be grateful that the baby's fine?

Bridget: Oh, I am deeply grateful. I'm grateful to God, not you. You acted incredibly irresponsible with my child. And then you dragged my husband into it with you.

Sandy: I did not drag Nick into anything.

Bridget: You pressured him to keep secrets from me-- your identity, your past, the kind of person you are. No woman does that with a married man unless she has some kind of agenda.

Sandy: What kind of agenda?

Bridget: Well, why don't you tell me.

Sandy: I admired you, Bridget. I wanted to be like you.

Bridget: Well, you're nothing like me. I don't even know who you are. Sandy Sommers, I-I knew her quite well, but she doesn't exist.

Bridget: You do understand that you took advantage of my friendship and my trust?

Sandy: I was raped, Bridget.

Bridget: I'm sorry for that. That's every woman's worst nightmare. But it's no excuse. You should have told me. Why wouldn't you tell me, Agnes? And don't give me any kind of garbage, like you were trying to protect me.

Sandy: I was trying to protect myself... from you judging me, from losing you when you found out.

Bridget: Agnes, no. At some point, this became very calculated on your part.

Sandy: Tonight was a victory. It was a victory for everybody. Your sister Hope is safe, and Graham Darros, he's behind bars. The baby's fine. Your husband is a hero, you know? He--he believed in me. Bridget, he never, ever stopped fighting for me. He gave me a new life. I'm free because of Nick. You--you can't appreciate him for that?

Bridget: Are you suggesting to me that I don't appreciate my husband? I don't know what kind of, um, fantasy ride you are trying to go on with Nick, but we are deeply, deeply in love. Now you need to stop crying and listen to me right now, 'cause I'm gonna tell you how it's gonna be. I'm gonna allow you to stay on as an employee at Jackie M., but that's only because I want to be close to my baby. You will have no more secret meetings with Nick. You will stay away from him. Do you hear me? This is a business arrangement, Agnes, and nothing more. I need to know that you understand that.

Oliver: Here, I got you something.

Hope: Oh... (Laughs) that's cute. Thank you.

Oliver: It kind of looks like me, right?

Hope: Yeah. Yeah, I guess it has that "Mr. Entertainment" quality.

Oliver: You remembered that, too.

Hope: (Laughs) Well, you gave me your business card, Mr. Entertainment. So... entertain me.

Oliver: Uh... (Laughs)

Hope: (Laughs) Oh. (Laughs)

Oliver: What the...

Hope: That's my bedpan.

Oliver: Oh, yikes. You're gonna need that.

Hope: Oh, no, it's okay. I already used it.

Oliver: Ugh!

Hope: (Laughs) Got ya. (Laughs)

Oliver: So... (Clears throat) you're okay, really?

Hope: Yeah. Um... yeah, just a little tired.

Oliver: Well, I, um, came to check on you. You better get some rest.

Hope: Thank you. That's very sweet.

Oliver: Hey, you get out of here, and I mean soon. I want to see you at the coffeehouse. I'll--I'll be looking for you.

Hope: (Sighs)

Sandy: Nick was supportive. I told him I didn't think it was a good idea to tell you everything right away, and he--he agreed, but I don't see why that's so terrible. I--

Bridget: You manipulated my husband, Agnes.

Sandy: Your husband is a very kind and loving person. You're an incredibly lucky woman, but I don't have designs on Nick.

Bridget: Don't you dare patronize me. You lured me into believing that you're something you're not. I have no idea who Agnes Jones is, except that she's a liar, and I don't really like liars. I don't trust them. I don't want anything to do with you.

Sandy: I'm still carrying your baby.

Bridget: I know that. And because of that, you're gonna damn well start acting responsibly, 'cause I'll be watching you. I'm gonna be all over you, everything you eat, your lifestyle, the way you're living, all of it.

Sandy: Nice to know you care.

Bridget: You're just an incubator. You're a vehicle to giving me a healthy child.

Sandy: I made a mistake. I'm sorry.

Bridget: You'll get a check when the baby's born. Then you can go on with your life, and you'll be out of ours forever.

(Knock on door)

Bridget: (Sighs)

Bridget: She's just not who I thought she was.

Nick: I know.

Bridget: But I made it very clear to that woman where things stand between us now.

Nick: I'm sorry. I never should have kept this from you.

Bridget: No. No, you shouldn't have.

Nick: (Sighs) I, uh, just got caught up in it, on what happened to her.

Bridget: Yeah. 'Cause obviously it never occurred to you how I would react.

Nick: Look, I love you more than anything in the world, and I'd never do anything to hurt you.

Bridget: (Scoffs)

Nick: So I'm asking you what I can do here. What can I do to help put this behind us? Anything at all, please. I-I want to know what I can do to help you get through this.

Bridget: I don't know, Nick. I don't know.

(Door opens and closes)

Sandy: (Sighs)

Whip: Hello. Knock, knock. I can come in, right?

Sandy: (Laughs) Yeah. Hi.

Whip: How are you feeling?

Sandy: Oh, I'll be fine.

Whip: Yeah, I just heard about the baby. Uh, that's good news. Nick, uh, Nick just told me.

Sandy: He's a tough little tadpole.

Whip: He was, uh...

Sandy: (Laughs)

Whip: He was pretty shook up, Nick. Bridget, too. I'm sure they're very relieved.

Sandy: I'm not gonna let anything happen to this baby, Whip. So, um, so you talked to Nick.

Whip: Mm-hmm, yeah, just, uh, you know, for a minute while Bridget was in here with you.

Sandy: Yeah. She hates me now. It's okay. I'm not gonna let it ruin what happened tonight.

Whip: (Chuckles) That must--that must have felt pretty--pretty awesome, finally having him dragged away by the cops in handcuffs, right?

Sandy: It was more than that, Whip. I felt something for Nick.

Whip: You mean gratitude.

Sandy: It was a little more than gratitude.

Whip: Whoa, whoa, whoa. Aggie, what-- what are you saying?

Sandy: I don't know. For the first time in the longest time, I have a reason to get up every day, and I have a reason to look forward to each and every day. I'm talking about passion and excitement and...

Whip: Uh...

Sandy: It's all because of--

Whip: Aggie, I don't like what I'm hearing here.

Sandy: Oh, come on. Whip, it happens for everyone. Why shouldn't it happen for me? You know, I'm in love, and it's perfect. He is my hero. He's my hero. We're--he--he's like my knight in shining armor. He rode in and--and saved me. I'm--I'm free now for the first time in my life, and it's all because of Nick. Hey, Brooke. How's Hope?

Brooke: Recovering.

Sandy: Uh, so you heard all about everything that happened tonight? We caught him, and we--we put him behind bars.

Brooke: Yeah, yeah, I think that's great. I'm glad. Whip, can I have a moment alone with your cousin?

Whip: Uh... sure. Sure.

Sandy: I have to thank you, Brooke.

Brooke: Thank me?

Sandy: Yes.

Brooke: For what?

Sandy: Well, 'cause you've been a friend. I mean, you were a friend to me. You were a confidant, and you kept my secrets.

Brooke: I'm not sure I should have done that.

Sandy: How can you say that?

Brooke: I heard what you said. You're in love with my daughter's husband?

Sandy: Uh, Brooke, you know, it's--

Brooke: It's not going to happen, Sandy. I'm serious. I never want to hear you say those words again. Do I make myself clear?

Sandy: You don't think you're overreacting just a little bit?

Brooke: Oh, please, don't be smug with me. If you even bat an eyelash at my daughter's husband, you are going to have to deal with me. And you don't want that. You really don't want that.
