Serge: Oh, everything looks great. Just--thank--thank you so much. Yeah. No tchotchkes... ever!
Donna: Eric, you home?
Eric: I'm out here.
Donna: Katie's wedding was beautiful. I wish you could have been there.
Eric: Yeah, I'm sorry, honey. I just, uh, I couldnít.
Donna: I know that this is difficult, but everyone is on their way over right now, and, well, it would be lovely if we could be together to greet them as they arrive.
Eric: Uh, no, no, no, no. I'm not gonna do that. I'm not gonna stand at the door and paste some grin on my face and welcome Bill Spencer into my home. I'm simply not gonna do that. You look beautiful, though.
(Knock on door)
Donna: Oh, good.
Donna: You're the first ones here.
Brooke: How's Eric doing?
Donna: Well, he's, um, kind of having a hard time.
Ridge: I'm sure he's less than thrilled to be hosting this reception, but I can't really blame him.
Donna: Yeah. Uh, letís--let's just go in.
Katie: All right! Let's get this party started. What? What's wrong?
Katie: What's going on?
Donna: Oh, we, uh, were just wondering what was taking you so long.
Katie: Oh, we, um, took the scenic route.
Bill: Katie gave me an extended tour of the old neighborhood.
Donna: Well, great.
Brooke: (Chuckles) Wow.
Donna: Well, l-like you said, let's get this party started. Come on.
Katie: All right.
Donna: Let's go.
Donna: (Chuckles) Yeah.
Rick: Hey, Mom.
Brooke: Honey, oh, I'm glad you could make it.
Rick: Hi. (Chuckles) Oh, it's so good to see you.
Brooke: Oh, good.
Rick: Uh, excuse me. I'm gonna go kiss the bride.
Katie: Hey! Oh, you made it.
Rick: Congratulations. You look so beautiful.
Katie: Mm, thank you. I'm so glad you could come from Paris.
Rick: Uh, yeah, I'm sorry I didn't make the ceremony. My flight was delayed out of Paris.
Katie: You're here for the fun part.
Rick: Yes, I am.
Marcus: Hey, Rick, how's it going, man?
Marcus: How you doin'? It's good to see you, man.
Rick: You, too. You, too.
Marcus: All right. Y'all, too.
Jarrett: Congratulations. Bill, your vows were absolutely lovely. I-I--you--you spoke from the heart. I always knew you had one. And if I may say so, sir, it's a real whopper.
Bill: Okay, Jarrett, thank you. I appreciate it. Now why don't you go get yourself some champagne?
Rick: So, hey, how was the ceremony? I heard it was down the street from the old house.
Stephen: Oh, it was absolutely perfect, I got to tell you.
Beth: I-I can't imagine a more romantic place for our little girl to get married.
Bill: I never thought a little park in Van Nuys could be anything close to magical. But it was. I'll never doubt you again.
Katie: Oh. Never. (Giggles)
Bill: (Chuckles) You.
Bill: Have you ever seen a more beautiful bride?
Katie: (Chuckles) I pay him to say that.
Bill: Excuse me.
Katie: (Giggles) Mm-hmm. Cheers. Chin, chin.
Katie: Thank you.
Bill: Eric. Cigar?
Bill: I wanted to thank you for opening your home, hosting the reception.
Eric: Donna's idea. You thank her.
Donna: Honey, hi. Hi. Um, well, it's almost time for the toast, so, um, it would be lovely if you would join me.
Brooke: Oh. Did you talk to Eric?
Ridge: Yeah. I don't know how he's gonna get through tonight.
(Tapping on glass)
Donna: Hello. Uh, hi. I, um, I just want to welcome everyone into our home. It's wonderful that we can all be here today to celebrate my sister Katie and Bill's wedding, and what a wedding it was. So, um, without further ado, I'm just gonna hand the floor over to the best man.
Justin: Thank you. "Dollar Bill"...
Justin: You and I go way back, and I know you as only very few do. You've always been a loner, until you met Katie, a woman who could look into your soul and find gold. Before the ceremony, he was reminding me of the widespread notion that he doesn't have a heart.
Justin: Well, after today, Katie, we're gonna put that rumor to rest. As your best man, I am wishing you a beautiful and joyous life together. Cheers.
Brooke: I'd like to say a few words... (Sighs) about our sister. Katie... (Chuckles)
Brooke: Okay, I'm gonna try not to cry. I know, through the years, you used to look up to Donna and me. But it's very important that you know we have always looked up to you, too-- your boundless energy, your generous spirit and your beautiful soul. As a girl, you used to look out the window and feel lonely and feel like an outsider, but that's not who you are today. You have an exciting, amazing adventure ahead of you with a man that you love and who loves you. So my wish is that the both of you feel this love and this joy that you share today always and forever.
Donna: (Chuckles) Cheers.
Brooke: To Katie and Bill.
All: To Katie and Bill.
(Camera shutter clicks)
Justin: Great party.
Donna: Oh, thank you.
Justin: You're welcome.
Donna: Oh, thanks. (Clears throat)
Justin: I take it Ericís not happy about you having the reception here.
Donna: He just lost his company, Justin. He--he has a right to be upset.
Justin: Shouldn't he be supporting you? It is your sister's wedding.
Donna: He's doing the best he can.
Justin: Look, I know the man has issues, but you're his wife. You're on your way to becoming a big success hosting a hot new talk show.
Justin: Eric had a great run. He had a real good run, years in the limelight. You supported him. Why can't he support you now?
Justin: Excuse me.
Eric: No, no, no, no, no. I'm fine.
Justin: You have a lovely home.
Eric: Well, if I do, it's the result of many years of hard work and dedication to my company.
Justin: I can see why you would be reluctant to leave it to come into the office.
Eric: I can think of about a dozen reasons, and they all end with "Spencer."
Justin: Hmm. We value your work, Eric. We do expect you to continue designing.
Eric: I haven't really had the strongest sense of inspiration lately.
Eric: I hope it's not a permanent case of designerís block.
Justin: Hmm. You know, maybe you should try looking at your wife's new show. Oh, it is gonna be a huge hit. Maybe it'll inspire you.
Stephen: So how you holding up, huh?
Beth: I am fine. Oh, Stephen, wasn't this a fabulous day?
Stephen: Couldn't be any better.
Beth: (Chuckles) And, Katie, oh, your wedding--
Beth: It was just so beautiful, and you make such a radiant bride.
Beth: Oh, my God, and to top it off, that car--
Katie: I know. Can you believe it?
Beth: That was wonderful.
Stephen: My dear, you outdid yourself.
Katie: No, no. You have outdone yourself my whole life-- I mean, that car, the endless carpools...
Katie: Every morning and--and most evenings schlepping the best catered meals in L.A. That car-- it tells the story of our life, and of you...
Katie: And when I heard it was still in storage, I just thought that I got to give that back to you, give you back a little piece of the past.
Beth: Well, it certainly worked, darling.
Beth: That car unleashed a flood of memories.
Katie: Oh, good.
Beth: Thank you so much.
Katie: I love you so much.
Beth: I love you, too, baby.
Beth: I'm so happy.
Bill: Hey, sweetheart.
Katie: (Chuckles) Uh-huh?
Bill: But, uh, we have a honeymoon to get started, and the jet's waiting.
Katie: Okay. Well, we have to say good-byes and thank everyone.
Beth: All right.
Katie: Everyone, um... (Chuckles) we have a honeymoon that won't wait, so...
Katie: (Laughs) I just wanted to thank all of you so much for sharing this special day with us. To my parents, thank you so much for your love and your support. I can't tell you how much it means to me to have you both here. And, Dad, having you walk me down the aisle-- it was a dream come true. And to my beautiful, beautiful sisters, thank you so much for standing by my side today and every day. (Laughs) And the only reason why I'm here is because of my brother Storm, and I miss him so much, but I know that he's here with us. I know he is. So thank you all so much for sharing this amazing day, and, um, I love and I cherish all of you. (Sniffles)
Katie: You want to say something?
Katie: (Laughs) (Sniffles)
Bill: I just want to say that, uh, today was very special. And it was, as Katie just said, wonderful to share with all of you. You Logans are an exceptional bunch.
Bill: You're a group that I am honored to be joining. For the first time in my life, I'm, uh... (Clears throat) part of a family, and that feels pretty good.
Katie: Mm. (Applause)
Man: (Wolf whistles)
Bill: All right, well, have a wonderful time, everybody...
Bill: And we will see you when we get back from our honeymoon.
Katie: All right. (Laughs)
Brooke: Oh, Katie, wait.
Katie: Hmm? Oh.
Brooke: You--you got to throw your bouquet. I forgot.
Katie: (Sniffles) I'm not taking any chances. We're gonna have a wedding real soon, okay?
Katie: Yours and Dad's, okay?
Beth: Oh. (Laughs)
Katie: I love you.
Beth: I love you, too.
Katie: And I love you.
Brooke: Oh, I love you, too.
Katie: Oh, but first, I want to do one more thing.
Brooke: Oh, come on!
Donna: Oh, boy.
Katie: To the jet. (Laughs)
Donna: Have fun on your honeymoon! Bye.
Brooke: Bye. (Laughs)
Donna: (Laughs) Right there. (Giggling )
Katie: So do you care to tell me where we're going?
Bill: It's a surprise, and don't even try and get it out of me, 'cause I'm not gonna tell you.
Bill: You handled the wedding. The honeymoon is mine.
Katie: Oh, oh. Uh, take a left--the next left.
Bill: Well, that's not the way to the airport.
Katie: I know. We're taking a little detour. Go left.
Bill: We just got married. You're already bossin' me around.
Katie: Get used to it.
Bill: So where are we going?
Katie: It's a surprise. Pull over to the shoulder.
Bill: Beautiful view. Where are we?
Katie: This is Pleasure Point.
Bill: (Chuckles) Pleasure Point?
Bill: Well, I like it already.
Katie: Donna and Brooke spent a lot of their youth up here.
Bill: Oh, I'll bet they did.
K: I just thought it was the perfect place for us to start our honeymoon. What do you think?
Bill: I think so.
Bill: (Chuckles) )
Katie: Mm. Where's your sword necklace? You're not wearing it.
Bill: Oh, uh, I-I don't know where it is. I-I noticed it was missing this morning. I-I guess the clasp broke.
Katie: But that means so much to you.
Bill: I know, uh, but, you know, don't worry about it. I'm not. In fact, I'm not worrying about anything right now.
Katie: Mm. (Chuckles) Justin said that I looked into your soul and I saw gold, and he was right. And you looked into my eyes, and you saw someone different and new, strong and confident-- someone I'm excited to be. And somewhere along the road, you fell in love with me. I still don't know how that happened.
Bill: It wasn't difficult.
Katie: We are meant to be-- two loners have become one. We are better together than we ever were apart, and today we start our journey. I know the road won't always be smooth, but I have never felt this way-- the way I feel with you. Look at that-- Los Angeles, all those twinkling lights, like a million stars laid out just for us. You will take me to places that I can't even imagine, and I will give you something that you've never had before-- a home and a family, an unwavering, undeniable, unconditional love.
