Brooke: If somebody had told me that our little sister Katie would grow up and become Mrs. Bill Spencer...
Donna: Tomorrow. Can you believe it?
Katie: (Screams) Oh, my God! I love this song! You guys, okay, let's dance.
Brooke: Aah! Oh, my God!
Donna: Yes! Oh!
Brooke: Oh, thank you, dear. Whoo!
Donna: Wow! Whoo-hoo!
Brooke: Let's get the party rocking here.
Katie: Whoo! Let's get this party started!
Brooke: Katie and Bill. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Katie and Bill. Whoo!
Steffy: I bet you think I'm crazy dragging you up here the night before your wedding.
Bill: Well, it did cross my mind. But I get it. You're young. You overstepped. You feel bad.
Steffy: Yeah. I-I feel terrible.
Bill: No harm done.
Steffy: You are my boss. I kissed you. You are getting married. I don't know what I'm thinking.
Bill: Now, Steffy, you have to stop stressing. I wasn't married when you kissed me.
Bridget: Tick-tock, tick-tock. Time is a-wastin'. (Inhales sharply) I did my part in this whole baby-making process. Now it's your turn, oh, husband of mine. Do you still remember what to do?
Nick: I remember.
Bridget: Well, okay, let's hop to it.
Nick: Give me a second. Make that a minute. (Exhales deeply) (Clears throat)
Bridget: I think what you-- what you really need is just...
Bridget: A little bit of help.
Sandy: Such a perfect couple. So happy. Almost perfect. They have everything-- looks, money, fame-- everything except the one thing they have to get from me.
Katie: Oh, my gosh.
Katie: Oh, my God. I just want tomorrow to be exactly like this.
Donna: Oh, you want us to dance down the aisle? (Humming "The Wedding March")
Brooke: (Humming "The Wedding March")
Katie: No. No. I definitely don't want that. I don't want that. Please. I just want us all to be together like we used to be when we were kids.
Brooke: Well, that's probably why you want to get married in that sweet little park across the street for the old house.
Katie: I just want it to be simple.
Brooke: Our life's never really been simple, Katie.
Katie: No, but the dreams we had were. I mean, you know, how many times did we wish upon stars that were shining over that park? I mean, how many pennies did we throw into that mossy, old fountain?
Katie: You know, and our-- our dreams were really simple. I mean, what we wish for? We wished for--for happiness. (Laughs) We wanted our family to be together. That's all we really wanted. We wanted happiness and security and love. And tomorrow, all those wishes that I used to make are gonna come true, and I want to be standing in the same exact place where I used to make them.
Donna: Cheers to that!
Katie: Mm. Mm-hmm. (Giggling)
Steffy: But it hasn't happened yet. You haven't said "I do." But you're going to, aren't you?
Bill: Of course I am.
Steffy: Of course you are. Look, I don't-- I don't know what I'm saying or what I'm thinking. I-I'm just trying to explain.
Bill: It's not necessary.
Steffy: I just-- I don't want you to think that--that the kiss-- it doesn't mean--
Bill: It doesn't mean anything. It doesnít... (Sighs) it doesn't change anything. I think that's what you need to hear. This isn't going to affect your job. There's no reason to feel uncomfortable.
Steffy: Look, I just feel like an idiot making you drive all the way up here.
Bill: You didn't make me do anything. You called. You were clearly upset. I felt we should talk face-to-face, and we have. Everything that needed to be said was said. It's over. And I need to get home.
Nick: (Inhales sharply) I need to sit down.
Dr. Caspary: The embryologist is getting everything prepped for the insemination. He'll be here soon.
Nick: Okay. Great. Um...
Dr. Caspary: Oh. A patient.
Dr. Caspary: Um, sorry. I'll have to meet you back here. Excuse me.
Nick: Before you go, Doc, one thing. You are gonna be around for all of this, right? I don't want anybody stepping in and messing up our baby.
Dr. Caspary: Of course I will, Nick.
Carl: Hello? Bridget? Hey!
Carl: Welcome back!
Carl: I heard Madame X was in the "hiz-ouse." It's just some hip-hoppy, funny...
Carl: You're a fashion designer now. Wow! Big change! And a baby?
Carl: Congratulations. So you're doing it here, huh?
Nick: Yeah. Yeah.
Carl: Giving the old crew a second chance? Good for you.
Carl: Listen, guys, don't worry. I'll be watching over everything, making sure there's no mix-ups.
Bridget: No. No. You know, it's actually--
Nick: No, no, no. It's-- 'cause we got--really, she's--
Bridget: I-I-I-- that's so sweet of you, Carl...
Nick: We're all really good. We're good.
Bridget: But it won't be necessary. Nick and I are gonna be present for the egg fertilization.
Nick: No, we're--yeah. Everything.
Carl: Oh, well, great. Congratulations.
Bridget: It's really good to see you. Oh. (Giggles)
Carl: (Whispers) Triple-check those labels.
Bridget: (Whispers) Right.
Carl: (Snaps fingers)
Nick: (Snaps fingers)
Katie: Oh, my God. That feels so good.
Brooke: Donna was always great at those feet massages.
Katie: It's so nice to be pampered by my two favorite sisters.
Donna: Well, we have to do it up before your glamorous, elegant wedding in the park. (Giggles)
Katie: Well, it may not be as glamorous as a yacht, but it's a lot more symbolic.
Brooke: It will be lovely. (Giggles)
Katie: Bill's letting me do it my way.
Donna: What about the honeymoon, hmm?
Donna: I hope he's taking you somewhere exotic and not like our old summer camp or something like that.
Katie: (Laughs) No. No, definitely not.
Donna: (Giggles) Well, tell us where.
Katie: It's a surprise. I don't know.
Brooke: Well, wherever you go...
Brooke: You're going to need something sexy to wear.
Katie: (Laughs) Oh, no!
Katie: Oh, no.
Donna: She's blushing already. (Giggles)
Katie: (Giggles) Oh, boy. Oh, it's beautiful. Oh, I love it.
Brooke: Yes. Yes. There's more.
Donna: It's so elegant.
Katie: There's more? Oh, no! (Laughs)
Katie: This must be from you.
Donna: Oh. (Purrs)
Katie: (Laughs) Oh, my gosh. And this is from you?
Brooke: (Clears throat) Of course. (Clears throat)
Katie: Ooh! Va-va-va-voom!
Donna: Va-va-va-- whoo-hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo!
Katie: (Laughs) Thank you. I love it. And Bill will love it.
Donna: Tell your hubby that we'll be expecting a thank you card.
Katie: Will do. (Laughs)
Steffy: Bill, wait.
Bill: Whatever you're going to say, donít.
Steffy: It's not another apology.
Bill: Listen, the first thing you need to learn as head of P.R. is when you have said enough.
Steffy: Maybe I'm overreacting, or maybe I'm being selfish, but I thought if I could get you up here and talk to you, I would feel better.
Bill: Do you?
Steffy: No. I feel even worse.
Bill: Well, I don't know what else I can do.
Steffy: You can stop being so nice.
Bill: "Nice," huh? I haven't heard that too often.
Steffy: (Scoffs) I know you don't want me to feel guilty, but I should be. Being engaged is a commitment, one I should respect. I just--I don't know why this keeps happening to me.
Bill: Why what keeps happening? What-- what exactly do you think is happening here, Steffy?
Donna: I remember the day this picture was taken.
Brooke: All of us sitting on the front porch.
Katie: It was a mother's day gift for Mom.
Donna: The last one before Dad left.
Katie: I always knew he'd be back. I knew he'd be there for my wedding day. I had this picture in my head that he would come back, and he would link my arm in his, and he'd pat my hand. And I'd look up at him, and he would have tears in his eyes. And--and I would say, "You came back." And he would say, "I wouldn't have missed this for the world." (Sighs) And then he'd walk me to the altar and then it always ended there, because I couldn't imagine my wedding.
Katie: I couldn't imagine the man who would ask me to be his wife.
Donna: Well, now you've found a man who's made you happy beyond belief.
Katie: (Laughs) (Sniffles)
Brooke: And you won his heart the day that you met him. Since then, he's never looked at anybody else. (Giggles)
Steffy: Oh, don't look at me like that.
Bill: Like what?
Steffy: This is embarrassing, okay?
Bill: Oh, Steffy, look, I have said everything I can possibly say.
Steffy: This doesn't bother you at all.
Bill: It was one small kiss, and I'm a big boy. Why would it?
Bridget: (Mouthing words)
Dr. Caspary: I probably don't need to go into a lot of detail. You're both familiar with the process.
Nick: I could use a refresher.
Bridget: Nick's never seen the procedure.
Dr. Caspary: It seems routine these days. Easy to forget that 30 years ago, I.V.F. was considered miraculous. After the first procedure-- successful procedure in 1978, there have been over 20,000 I.V.F. babies born worldwide.
Nick: Well, we hope we're gonna be the next 20,0001 to be successful, right?
Dr. Caspary: Mm-hmm.
Bridget: (Giggles) Believe me, Doctor, this is gonna definitely feel like a little miracle to us.
Dr. Caspary: The embryologist is almost ready. The mature eggs have been transferred into petri dishes, one egg in each. A small quantity of sperm will be deposited into each dish, and then the dishes will be placed into an incubator for 18 hours. At that time, we should have evidence of fertilization. At 24 hours, the cells will start to divide, and after 48 hours, we'll be ready for embryo implantation.
Bridget: Oh, Sandy. Oh, my gosh. We should probably remind her that we're almost ready.
Dr. Caspary: We have a few minutes yet.
Bridget: Okay. Good. Thank you.
Nick: Here you go.
Bridget: Okay. Thanks, honey.
Sandy: Hello? Hi. I was just thinking about you guys.
Bridget: Oh, good. Hey. Um, uh, listen, I only have a minute, but I wanted you to know that Nick and I are at the hospital, and we just started the fertilization process.
Sandy: Oh, wow. It's like we're on the same wavelength.
Bridget: Oh, good. I hope so. We want you to feel like you're a part of this whole thing. And Dr. Caspary said that we can be entrusting you with one of these little miracles in--in two days.
Sandy: Um, two days?
Bridget: Oh, oh, um, uh, we're just about to start, so I need to go.
Sandy: Good luck.
Dr. Caspary: All right. Here we go. Welcome to the modern world, people.
Nick: That's it. The petri dish goes to the incubator, and it's done.
Bridget: No. No. No. It's just the beginning. And this time... this time it's gonna end with a perfect little miracle-- our little baby and all the joy in the world.
Steffy: So I'm supposed to believe you have a calculator where your heart should be?
Bill: Actually, that would be a balance sheet.
Steffy: If you didn't care, you wouldn't be here.
Bill: I told you. You were obviously upset.
Steffy: My dad was upset. So was my grandfather, but it didn't stop you from buying their company.
Bill: That was business.
Steffy: And this is?
Bill: This is starting to feel like we're going in circles. I told you to forget it. Now it's like you want me to sort this out with you.
Steffy: N-no, no. I just want you to swear to me that you're not gonna say anything. You don't get it. I have a history of getting mixed up with the wrong guys.
Bill: You're not mixed up with me, Steffy. It was one kiss.
Steffy: You know that. But if anyone were to find out-- Donna, Brooke, my dad and, God forbid, Katie--
Bill: Let's not turn this into a crisis, okay?
Steffy: Okay. Look, what I said before, I didn't-- I didn't mean you and I are mixed up. Obviously, I am. I kissed my boss, and I don't know why.
Bill: I'm not gonna hold it against you, all right? No harm, no foul.
Steffy: Katie is a pretty lucky woman. I hope you have a long and happy marriage.
Bill: I will. No more worries, all right?
Steffy: It's all good. We're good.
Katie: Bill loves me the way no one ever has. And I just wish you could see this other side of him, the sweet side. I mean, it's there. I promise.
Donna: We're just gonna have to take your word on that, because you're the only one he
ever shows that to.
Katie: Oh, come on. Otherwise, would he be marrying me in the park?
Brooke: Well, she has a point.
Katie: We are gonna have a beautiful life together.
Brooke: And you deserve it, Katie. You've gone through so much.
Katie: I've been struggling for so many years, and I realize that I've just been climbing uphill to get to this moment.
Katie: I feel like I'm standing on top of a mountain. I can see my whole future, and I just want to stop and enjoy it.
Donna: (Sighs) Oh, well, you enjoy every single moment of it, sweetie.
Brooke: And we're all gonna be there for you in our special little park-- your sisters, Mom, Dad, all of us-- surrounding you with our love.
Katie: I just feel so blessed. I-I know when Bill took over the company and he put me in charge, I knew that it--that was gonna strain our relationship, but we've lost Storm, and we're losing our mother. And I just couldn't bear it if I lost you, too.
Brooke: That will never happen.
Katie: It canít. We have to band together. The three Logan sisters.
Katie: I just want to remember this night, this connection, this closeness. I want to remember the best part of myself, and that's being your sister.
Katie: Tomorrow, I may become Mrs. Bill Spencer, but tonight and forever, we are the Logan girls.
Donna: Yeah. Come here.
Brooke: Yes. Mm.
