Katie: Here you go.

Brooke: Thanks.

Katie: You know, you don't have to do this.

Brooke: It's already decided. Being with Mom and Dad in Paris is the best thing for me right now.

Katie: Well, that's not what I mean. And you can put ten oceans between you and Ridge. It's not gonna change the fact that you love him. So what's the point? I mean, what's it gonna solve?

Bridget: Come on. Come on. You can do better than that.

Nick: Are you critiquing my kissing now?

Bridget: No. I'm just sensing a distraction or--or a concern. Yeah, I'm sensing a concern-- definitely a concern.

Nick: Like what?

Bridget: Oh, I don't know. Your dear mother-- she's not back together with her beloved, and--and you're worried about her.

Nick: (Clears throat) What do you do for an encore, read tea leaves?

Bridget: No. No. I prefer a crystal ball. Let's see. Oh, yes. Yes. I am sensing a--oh, a gorgeous older woman and a much younger virile man. And I think they find their way back to each other in the near future. (Gasps)

Nick: Well, I'm sorry to disappoint you and your crystal ball, but that ain't gonna happen.

Bridget: Well, why, oh, cynical one?

Nick: Because my mother's with Owen right now ending their marriage.

Jackie: You want me back?

Owen: Look, I realize that I said that I-I needed some time, but come on. I mean, time for what? Time for me, what, to decide how I feel about you? My God, Jackie, I know how I feel about you, all right? I love you, and that's never changed. Yeah, I mean, what happened between you and Whip, it--it hurt me. I mean, it made me question what we had. But question my love for you no. Never. Whatever this is, I want to work through it. And I want to work through it with you. I want to come home and I want to-- I want to start over. I mean, that is if my beautiful and free-spirited wife will have me.

Owen: Uh, Jackie, I mean, this is where you would maybe kiss me madly and say that you--

Jackie: I'm sorry.

Jackie: You'll never know how sorry I am

Owen: Bout what?

Jackie: I didn't me here to save our marriage, all right? I came here to end it.

Brooke: I never thought this would be easy, Katie.

Katie: It's going to be impossible. You know, Mom hasn't asked this of you.

Brooke: I want to spend as much time with her as possible.

Katie: I know, and she loves you for it, but nothing would make her happier than to see you and Ridge back together. Only that can't happen if you're in Paris and he's here.

Brooke: Apparently, it can't happen when I'm here, either. Otherwise, it would have. (Sighs) I just wish he could show me some sign, reach out in some way and prove to me that he believes it will happen for us.

Thorne: Ridge, hey. How's it going?

Ridge: Uh, they're all here. We're moving as fast as we can.

Thorne: I don't think this is gonna work.

Ridge: Look, only positive thoughts, all right, little brother? Look, I got to go. All right, guys, come on. Let's pick up the pace.

Stephanie: Honey, I'm so happy that you could make it here. I, um, I told the waiter to go ahead and bring us some champagne.

Thorn: Are we celebrating something?

Stephanie: You bet. Brooke is leaving for Paris. That plane's supposed to take off any time now, and, well, I can't think of a better reason, can you, to order bubbly

Thorne: I don't know, Mother. I just got off the phone with Ridge. It might be a little premature celebrating Brookeís departure.

Ridge: (Exhales deeply) Come on, guys. Let's hurry it up. We don't have much time.

Katie: I still say it's not too late.

Brooke: (Sniffles) (sighs) I wish that were true... (sighs) but I've given Ridge every opportunity, and for whatever reason, this is what it's come to. (Sighs) What's going on? Wh-why aren't we taking off? Prolonging this is only gonna make it more painful.

(Bell chimes)

Man: Excuse the interruption, ladies. We've had a last minute request to redirect our flight plan. I apologize for the delay. We'll be in the air shortly.

Brooke: I don't get it. Jackie loves Owen. She would do absolutely anything to save that marriage, including almost killing herself with that parasailing stunt just to let Owen know that she wants him back...

Nick: (Sighs)

Bridget: And now she's over there t--

Nick: Over there telling him that the marriage is over. Yeah, it just-- yeah, that's--that's it.

Bridget: Why? This doesn't make any sense. Wh-what could have possibly happened?

Nick: Don't look at me. It's my mother's decision.

Bridget: But that doesn't explain what motivated this. What--it has to be more than just a misunderstanding.

Nick: Well, the crystal ball says that sometimes, even though you love someone, you sacrifice your own feelings, even if it means setting them free and breaking your own heart.

Owen: You don't mean that. You--no, you can't mean that.

Jackie: I'm sorry.

Owen: What, you're sorry? Look, no, you know what? I don't want an apology, Jackie. I want you to look at me in the eye right now and-- you know what? This is crazy. Look, I mean, a couple of days ago, you were pleading with me to come home, and I wasn't ready. But I'm ready to come home now. Look, whatever this isócome on-- I-it's not worth spending another day, another--another hour away from the woman that I love.

Jackie: Oh, please, don't say that.

Owen: What? What?

Jackie: (Gasps)

Owen: Don't say what? That I love you, huh?

Jackie: Owen, listen to me, okay? Listen. The time that we've had has been beyond compare. In my wildest fantasies, I could never have imagined anything so... oh, thrilling. But it was never meant to be serious, was it? I mean, it was just supposed to be fun. And it was in the beginning, but now there's-here's all this angst. There's this emotional upheaval, and--and it's all my fault. Totally my fault. I hurt you, and I never, ever meant to do that.

Owen: Uh, Jackie, listen to me. I--

Jackie: No, you listen to me! With a younger woman, you can have children. You can have a family, and I know you want all of those things.

Owen: No, no, wait. Wait a minute. You're saying that you're doing this because of me?

Jackie: Yes. Yes. Because holding onto you would be very wrong of me. It would be very selfish of me, and I'm not going to do it, not for one more moment, not when I--

Owen: What, when you love me as much as you do, huh?

Jackie: (Sighs)

Owen: Come on.

Jackie: (Sighs)

Jackie: I'm gonna have the marriage annulled. (Sighs) The, um, the publicity will, of course, be merciless, but I'll try and--

On: No. No, I will not let you take this ring off.

Jackie: (Sighs)

Owen: I'm not gonna let you end this, all right? I'm not gonna let you do that.

Bridget: My goodness, Nick, what is your mother doing? Giving up someone that you love is heart-wrenching.

Nick: Yes, it is.

Bridget: Well, when Owen finds out why she's doing this, maybe he won't let her go through with it.

Nick: I don't know.

Bridget: I honestly hope that he doesn't, because the chance to feel the way that they do doesn't come around all the time, and one thing that I've learned is when it does come, you have to grab hold of it and never, ever let it go.

Bridget: I hope it works out that way for Jackie and Owen, too.

Owen: Listen to me, Jackie. I can't lose you. And no woman has ever loved me or--or given me such--such immense joy and happiness as you. Come on. What do you think? You think you're depriving me of something? Look, everything that I could ever want or need is right here in front of me. I'm not gonna let you go, all right? I wonít.

Jackie: (Sighs) Even when I'm old and gray?

Owen: You know what? Looks are gonna fade, but my love for you is gonna last a lifetime. And if you think that I am as shallow as to only look at you for your looks and not look at you for the amazing woman that you are, then you know what? You should dump me.

Jackie: (Sighs)

Owen: Now for the last time, I have pledged till death do us part, and I meant it. And I'm yours forever, and you're mine forever. That's the way that it's meant to be. I believe that with everything that I've got. And so do you. Come on. I know you do. You believe that.

Stephanie: Don't tell me he's gonna try and stop her from going to Paris.

Thorne: I can't tell you exactly what going on, Mother, because Ridge would kill me.

(Cell phone beeping)

Thorne: Oh, it's a- it's a text letting me know that Brooke is in the air. Let me call Ridge.

Stephanie: Well, there you go.

Thorne: Hey, it's me. Listen, I just got word. Brooke's plane is in the air.

Ridge:  Sorry, little brother. I can't talk right now.

Katie: We're going over the ocean. I can see Point Dume. Oh, my God. Brooke, you've got to see this. Look out your window. Look out!

Brooke: Katie...

Katie: Brooke, you want to see this. Look out your window!

Katie: He did it, Brooke.

Brooke: (Laughs)

Katie: He gave you the sign you were looking for. Now it's up to you. Let's turn this plane around.

Ridge: (Sighs)

Ridge: I've lost her.

Jackie: (Inhales sharply) I came here day to do what is best for you.

Owen: Okay, so, what, you've convinced yourself what is best for me, even though I keep telling you that that's not what I want?

Jackie: Well, not today, not at this moment, but years from now when you have children and you have a beautiful young wife--

Owen: No, no, no. Jackie--Jackie, look at me. Look at me and listen to me. I already have a beautiful wife, and she's the only woman in the world for me. And as for kids, if I ever have the burning desire to become a father someday, I already told you-- we'll adopt.

Jackie: Oh, Owen.

Owen: Look, no. There is nothing that you can say, all right? You can talk from now until doomsday, all right? But there's nothing you can say to convince me that I meant to be with anyone else but you.

Jackie:  When I think of everything that youíve brought into my life.  You know the woman that I was before you cast your spell on me, and God, I donít want to be her again.  You made my lifeÖelectric.  To even think of spending one day without you isÖ.

Owen:  Then donít.  Donít do it.

Jackie:  OK.

Owen:  What?

Jackie:  Maybe it is selfish of me to want you so much, but I do not want to sleep in a bed without you by my side.  I donít want to live without you.  If you gone I donít want to breathe.  I love you, I love you.  I love you, I canít live without you.

Owen:  Listen to me, do not (mmm) donít let anybody, or anything ever come between us ever again.  OK?!

Jackie:  (Laughs)

Owen:  Listen to me, what we have isÖmaybe unconventional and people may not understand it but we do.  We get it.  Thatís the All right.  most important thing.  OK?

Jackie:  Uh huh.

Jackie:  (Laughs)

Stephanie:  So the plane has taken off, sheís on her way to Paris.  Good.  Now hopefully Ridge can finally have her out of his life.

Ridge:  Logan.

Brooke:  (sighs)

Ridge:  You said you needed a symbol of my love.

Brooke:  (laughs) Our heart in the sand.  Oh, Ridge.

Ridge:  I thought I lost you, Logan.  But you came back.  Iím never letting you go again.  Never, ever.

Brooke:  Ever?

Ridge:  No.

Brooke:  (Laughs)
