Whip: Okay, everything looks good, and make sure Jackie gets these press releases, all right? Thank you. Um... (clears throat) excuse me. What--what are you doing? It's t minus ten minutes to you-know-what. You're supposed to be distracting Stephanie.

Nick: That's what we're doing.

Bridget: If-- if Stephanie walks by, she'll think we're being unprofessional, and she's going to stop, and she's bound to give us a lecture, which will last ten minutes.

Whip: Okay.

Nick: We got it covered.

Clarke: What the hey?

Pam: Do you like it? I was, uh, shopping on my lunch hour. And I saw it, and I just thought, oh, what the heck? What do you think?

Clarke: Pamela, I-- (chuckles) I think you're probably better off blonde.

Pam: But I thought you liked redheads.

Clarke: Listen, sweetheart, only one dame could pull that off-- the original redhead herself.

Pam: Sally.

Clarke: Right. The one and only.

Pam: Okeydokey then.

Clarke: (Chuckles)

Jackie: Okay, Pam, Clarke, are you ready?

Pam: Oh, is it time?

Owen: You betcha.

Pam: Yay.

Katie: I think you should text him again.

Brooke: I thought you said I should stop.

Katie: I changed my mind. You've gotta get him to wake up.

Donna: You know, I don't know. Too much pressure could backfire. I mean, he says he wants to be left alone.

Brooke: Yeah, well, that's just the problem. He's not alone. He's with Taylor. (Sighs) I can't believe this is happening.

Katie: Brooke, they're not married yet. You can get through to him. I know you will. You can't back down. If you do, you'll regret it. Text him and tell him to call you.

Thomas: That was fun, huh? Family tennis.

Steffy: Yeah, do you realize I wasn't playing as hard as I could have, you know?

Thomas: Oh, no, of course. You really think I wouldn't have been able to return that last serve?

Steffy: Still, mom and dad winning together? They are so cute. I still can't believe this is happening.

Thomas: Yeah, I never thought it would be like this again.

Steffy: You know, but it has. All four of us together, it's like--I don't know. It just--it feels right.

Thomas: Except just one problem.

Steffy: Yeah, Brooke.

Thomas: Exactly.

Steffy: Mm.

(Cell phone beeps)

Steffy: Oh, speak of the devil.

Thomas: Is she still texting dad?

Steffy: "Please call me. We need to talk."

Thomas: God, she doesn't know when to give it up.

Steffy: Is it just me, or is Brooke, like, borderline crazy?

Thomas: (Sighs)

Steffy: She told dad it's over, to be with mom and to have a happy life. Now he's doing that, and she's freaking out trying to get him back?

Thomas: No, no. You know what it is? She doesn't want to be with dad. She just wants to pursue him. That's how Brooke has lived her whole life, chasing after dad. That's what she thinks love is.

Steffy: Well, if that's true, then I'm right. She's certifiable.

Thomas: (Sighs) So what do we do about that text?

Steffy: I don't know.

Thomas: Well, we should respond.

Steffy: (Sighs) I feel bad.

Thomas: I know, but we have to do something... just until mom and dad get married, and then hopefully, she would back off. Steffy, we're doing the right thing here. You know dad. If he was reading those messages, he'd be calling her, going over there. She'd cry, and next thing you know, we'd have mom on the outs again.

Steffy: Thomas, I'm not gonna let that happen to her. Dad may be vulnerable to Brooke, but I'll be his strength.

Taylor: Okay, I have the lemonade.

Ridge: Drink up, you two. It's really best to refuel after such a crushing defeat.

Steffy: Oh.

Thomas: Yeah, yeah.

Taylor: Okay, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Now for good luck, we have a toast-- to us, to our family and a perfect day together.

Steffy: (Laughs)

Taylor: It's days like this that remind me just how simple my needs really are. This is all I need-- just my children and my husband-to-be. May there be many, many more days just like this.

Ridge: There you go.

(Glasses clink)

Thomas: Cheers.

(Glasses clink)

Steffy: Cheers, man.

Stephanie: Jacqueline, would you mind explaining to me exactly what we're doing with this chair?

Jackie: Mm-hmm. We are putting it in the storage room. Come on.

Stephanie: Oh, but it's a perfectly nice chair. You know, actually, I could use it.

Jackie: Well, why? I mean, you mostly work out of Nick's office anyway.

Stephanie: Well, that's what-- you know, I always feel as though I'm inconveniencing either you or Nick. You know, I-- actually, I wouldn't mind having a desk of my own someplace.

Jackie: Really? I've got an idea.

Stephanie: Okay.

Jackie: Why don't we check this out? I mean, look, the plumbing's nearly finished. We can dust off a desk and cram it in there. Yeah? Have a look.

Stephanie: In the supply--

Jackie: Sure.

Stephanie: Well, but--but-- but, well, how much would we have to clear out?

All: Surprise!

Pam: (Laughs)

Stephanie: You little devil.

Jackie: Oh!

Pam: Ta-da

Stephanie: Oh, wow.

Pam: I'm sorry.

Stephanie: That's certainly more than I would have expected.

Pam: So--so you like it?

Stephanie: Well, I certainly do. You didn't have to do all of this. Wow.

Nick: Oh, I-I think we did.

Jackie: Stephanie, you have done so much for this company. I mean, Forrester and Jackie M., They're--they're practically neck and neck, and that's in large part because of you.

Stephanie: No, no, no. It's because of all of us. It's because of Bridgetís fabulous designs, Nick's business acumen, your flair and Clarkeís presence. Uh, I mean, we're all-- all of us, you know, working together and all making a success.

Nick: Stephanie, will you please learn to take a compliment? We are here to celebrate you and what you have brought to this company. We were struggling. We'll be the first to admit it. My wife, my beautiful wife and her lovely designs, as good as they are-- you're the one who brought them notice. You put us on the map. You, the undervalued asset from Forrester. So please, take this simple renovation as our way of telling you that you will never be undervalued here.

Stephanie: Well, Nick, that's so lovely. Thank you. Thank you very much.

Brooke: (Sighs) "Give me some space." (Sighs)

Katie: That's all he said?

Donna: I'm so sorry.

Brooke: (Sighs)

Katie: Well, maybe this isn't such a bad thing.

Donna: Katie--

Katie: No, no, I mean, let's--let's think about this for a second. The reason why he needs space is because he's still vulnerable to you. He has it in his head that the two of you are never gonna work things out, so the only solution is to distance himself because he still loves you.

Brooke: So what am I supposed to do?

Katie: You have to force the issue. You have to get him to come clean and admit how he really feels about you before he marries Taylor.

Ridge: You know, I'd be happy to pay for some private lessons for the two of you.

Thomas: Oh!

Steffy: Oh, yeah, yeah.

Ridge: I'd work with you myself, but I think it's really gonna take a professional.

Thomas: Oh, that's hilarious, Dad. You're just a real riot there.

Ridge: No, really, I seriously thought I'd work with you myself, but it would take, like, extra hours in the morning, you know, of training, maybe a couple hours after dinner every night. Five or ten years from now, you might possibly, maybe be able to beat your mother and me.

Thomas: Uh... (winces)

Steffy: Wow.

Ridge: You okay?

Taylor: Yeah, I know-- I know we're all sitting here and we're joking around, but really, I-- I think the reality of what's happening here is-- is--is starting to hit me. I mean, we're-- we're getting married tomorrow, and it really is going to happen. It really is. We're all gonna be a family again. We're all going to be reunited, and your father and I, we're gonna be recommitting our vows to each other, and we'll be recommitting them to you, too. Not--you know, not just the two of you, though. It'll also be Phoebe. She'll be there with us. I know she's-- she's gonna be right there at the wedding. (Sighs) She's very happy for us, Ridge. She's so happy.

Pam: This is a new recipe, so I don't want to hear any complaints if it didn't turn out.

Owen: It looks good--what?

Pam: No, no, no, no, no. That--that piece is for Clarke. He likes the extra frosting, right?

Clarke: Thank you, Pam.

Stephanie: Well, that's a-- that's a lovely touch-- both pictures.

Bridget: We thought so, too. It was Whip's idea.

Stephanie: Really?

Bridget: Yeah.

Stephanie: Are you okay working with him?

Bridget: Well, yes. Why wouldn't I be?

Stephanie: Well...

Bridget: Oh, Stephanie, please. My mother married him a long time ago to protect me. I really hope that we've all moved on now.

Stephanie: Well, I think he still has a crush on your mother.

Bridget: (Laughs)

Stephanie: I do. And I don't think the timing could be better.

(Tapping on lamp)

Stephanie:  Attention, please. Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, I'm going to pretend to be humble.

All: (Laugh)

Stephanie: No, seriously, Nick. Thank you very much. Your--your--your remarks, uh, they were lovely, and I appreciate it. It made me think about when Eric and I started Forrester Creations, uh, those first few years, how much fun it was and how exhilarating and what a challenge. And--and then over the years, especially these past few years, I-I felt, as you so aptly pointed out, that I really wasn't contributing and--and really important, uh, but now that I'm here, it's--it's a completely different feeling. And I kind of think that we're all sort of gelling as a little family. I-I--at least I hope that's how you all feel. Um, I-I really think it's-- it kind of works this way, and, um, I also got to thinking, um, when I saw my name "Stephanie Forrester" on the door-- thank you, Jackie-- I realized I'm-- I'm really not Stephanie Forrester" anymore. I'm just Stephanie. And I'm a part of you, as you are becoming a part of me, as we are all becoming a part of Jackie M., and, honestly, I wouldn't want to be anyplace else. Thanks.

Nick: Well, hear, hear.

(clapping)

Ridge: Well, there's lots to do. We better get moving.

Thomas: Moving?

Ridge: Yeah, we got a lot to do before the wedding.

Steffy: Oh, shoot, Mom. I totally forgot, the wedding planner called. I said you'd call her back.

Taylor: When was that, Steffy?

Steffy: Like, two hours ago.

Taylor: Oh, my God. Oh.

Steffy: Mom, I-I'm sorry. I had tennis on the brain.

Taylor: (Sighs)

Steffy: I was psyching myself out about the game.

Ridge: Not that it would have done any good.

Steffy: (Scoffs)

Ridge: Tell her to spare no expense, okay?

Taylor: Well, you better be careful, because I might have visions of diamonds in my bouquet.

Ridge: Look, we're bringing our family back together after being apart for so many years. I want this to be a special day for us and for the kids. I want it to be a day that we will all remember, all right?

Taylor: (Sighs)

Brooke: Maybe you're right. Maybe he is avoiding me. He'll never be able to go through with this wedding if he spends time with me.

Katie: Go over there.

Brooke: To Taylorís?

Katie: Yes.

Donna: Well, it-- it couldn't hurt.

Brooke: Oh, no, no, no. I-I can't deal with Taylor. And I'm sure that Stephanie has that place booby-trapped.

Katie: Well, you can't just sit around here waiting for him to call. He clearly isn't going to.

Brooke: (Sighs) Damn it! How do I get through to Ridge if he's not gonna let me in? I mean, what's he gonna do? Just hide out until the wedding?

Katie: You can't give up.

Brooke: (Sighs) I'm not. I won't give up. I'm gonna find a way to reach him. I'll get through to him. I'll never give up.

Owen: Well, we pulled it off.

Pam: We sure did. Stephanie was completely surprised. Anybody want more cake?

Bridget: Mnh...

Pam: Clarke?

Clarke: Uh, thank you. No.

Whip: Well, she seemed to like it.

Pam: My cake?

Whip: And the office.

Pam: Oh, she loved it. She loved it. It was so sweet of you guys to arrange all that.

Bridget: Oh, and--and I still can't get-- it's so weird for me to see your mom and Stephanie. Who would have ever thought they would be working together?

Nick: Well, working together's one thing, but my mother and Stephanie being friends?

(Knocks on desk)

Nick:   I'm still chewing on that.

Jackie: Knock, knock. (Chuckles) Hi, are you settled in?

Stephanie: Well, I-- I'm sort of getting there, yes.

Jackie: Good. Um, it's nice, isn't it?

Stephanie: Oh, it's fabulous.

Jackie: Yeah. Um, I-I brought you something, and I-I don't know what you--you want to do with it. And I just don't ex--

Stephanie: Okay. Let me see it.

Jackie: Okay.

Stephanie: Well, that's lovely. Thank you. I'll put it right here. I'll keep it right here.

Jackie: (Chuckles) That's good. (Chuckles) Well, um, I'm glad you like it.

Stephanie: Jackie?

Jackie: Mm-hmm?

Stephanie: (Clears throat) Um, look, well... (chuckles) safe to say, we haven't had the best relationship, uh, over the years. I mean, we have both said some pretty mean things and done some bad things to one another. Uh, but I'm truly sorry for that.

Jackie: Me, too.

Stephanie: Well, here we are, in a nice fresh place. Do you think we could just sort of push those bad memories aside out of the picture?

Jackie: Yeah, I think we can. (Chuckles)

Stephanie: Sometimes, you know, you have to lose what's really important to you in life before you appreciate it. But look what you've done for me. You've given me something that I lost-- a sense of family and this company to come to every day. You have provided that for me. I want to say thank you, and I'd be happy if we could be friends.

Brooke: You won't forget me, Ridge. You canít.

Taylor: Yes. Yep, I got that, too. All right. Thank you so much, Vivian. I-I'm sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. (Chuckles) Yeah, I know. Okay, thanks. All right, bye-bye. (Sighs)

Steffy: Everything set?

Taylor: Yeah, now it is.

Thomas: Look at you.

Taylor: What?

Steffy: You look happy.

Taylor: I am happy. So let this be a lesson to the two of you that you should never, ever give up on your dreams.

(Cell phone beeps)

Steffy: Oh, wow, now that is just pathetic. She sent him a link to "Unforgettable"?

Thomas: (Scoffs) Their song.

Steffy: Thomas, we can't keep doing this.

Thomas: As soon as mom and dad are married, Brooke will move on.

Steffy: (Sighs) God, I hope so.

Ridge: Everything okay?

Steffy: Yeah, everything's, um, fine.

Ridge: You sure?

Steffy: (Sighs) Look, Dad, um, Thomas and I have been talking, and we're worried, okay? We're afraid that there's always gonna be a part of you that's gonna be vulnerable to Brooke. Can you tell us not to worry? That Brooke is gonna be completely in your past?

Thomas: It's just, mom is so happy. I haven't seen her like this in years, especially not since you left. And I don't think she would survive if you were to change your mind down the line.

Ridge: Look I'm marrying your mother. I'm committing my life to her. That should tell you all you need to know.

Steffy: Well, that should tell Brooke, too. But will it? Will she respect your marriage? Because I'm not sure she even knows how.

Ridge: Steffy, I have told her to do that. And you know what? She gets it. She hasn't tried to reach out to me at all, not once.

Brooke: "You need to move on. I have. Please forget about us."

Taylor: Okay, so, what are we doing for dinner?

(Cell phone beeps)

Thomas: Uh, dad, why don't we barbecue?

Ridge: That sounds good. Yeah, I think I've got some stuff.

Thomas: What about that chicken we had the other night?

Ridge: Yeah, it's still there.

Thomas: That barbecue sauce-- we can have some more of that barbecue sauce.

Taylor: I can make a salad.

Ridge: Salad? That would be great.

Thomas: Oh, sounds good, too. A little bit of salad, yeah.

Steffy: Okay, I'm ready. (Gasps)

Ridge: Steffy, these things are kind of expensive, you know, not to mention a little fragile.

(Cell phone beeps)

Ridge: Oh, my God, Steffy, what is this?
