Owen: Come here, my beautiful wife.
Jackie: Why do we have to do this?
Owen: Let's go into the office.
Jackie: God. (Gasps) Oh, my gosh. Look--I mean... (Gasps)
Owen: Do you like it?
Jackie: (Gasps) Like it? I-it's--it's wonderful. I-I mean, the--the desk, the chairs, the shag rug. It is so me.
Jackie: It is so you.
Owen: I take it that that's good, right?
Jackie: Oh, it's wonderful. It--it's great. (Giggles) Oh, I love it.
Owen: What do you say about us breaking in the chaise, hmm?
Jackie: Chaise? Oh.
Owen: You didn't see that, did you?
Jackie: Good idea.
Jackie: Oh, this is vastly better than the desk. (Laughs)
Owen: Vastly better than the desk.
Clarke: Hey, guess who jus-- just--just called?
Owen: Take a message. We're busy.
Clarke: (Chuckles) Oh, she would like this.
Clarke: Uh, Sally. (Chuckles)
Jackie: The divine Ms. Spectra?
Clarke: The one and only. She is so proud of us. She wanted us to know how swell she feels that "Queen Stephanie" is joining our ranks, and--and from her island hideaway, she sends her love and wishes us the very best.
Katie: Come on, Brooke. Exercise is the best way to relieve stress.
Donna: Come on. Just go put some running clothes on.
Brooke: (Sighs) Not today, guys.
Donna: Honey, you've gotta get out of this house.
Brooke: We've been texting each other.
Donna: You and Ridge?
Brooke: Mm-hmm. He says he doesn't want to see me or speak to me, and I-I just don't understand. I mean, these-- these messages, they're so cold. Taylor and the kids, they must have really changed him.
Donna: Yeah, and Stephanie-- I'm sure she's thrilled about this.
Stephanie: That's beautiful. Beautiful.
Taylor: And it's so unexpected.
Stephanie: All the days of uncertainty are over.
Taylor: I know. Stephanie, I just-- I can't believe it. Can you believe this? This time, it's for real, too. We're gonna be a family again.
Stephanie: The kids must be on cloud nine.
Steffy: I hate doing this. It's dishonest.
Thomas: Well, Brooke isn't exactly acting with integrity. She knows Mom and Dad are getting married. If we don't do something, we'll lose our family.
Ridge: Hey, have either of you seen my cell phone?
Thomas: Uh, what, did you lose it again?
Ridge: Yeah, apparently. You haven't seen it around?
Ridge: Hello? Hey, Stan. I'm just here with my kids. I'll be coming into the office in a little while. Yeah, I can talk. What's up?
(Cell phone vibrates)
Steffy: We can't keep doing this. Look, another message from Brooke.
Thomas: What are we gonna do?
Steffy: I don't know. You're a whiz at computers. Can't you forward Brooke’s messages to another phone?
Thomas: Uh, yeah, maybe.
Steffy: Yeah, do it. I need to message her back. Okay. Um, okay, okay. "Brooke--" No, no. No, wait. No. "Logan, leave me alone."
(Cell phone hangs up)
Clarke: Mm. Mmm.
Pam: So, um, what's with all this scuttlebutt that Sally Spectra called?
Clarke: Yeah, it was great to hear from her. (Chuckles)
Pam: Now you two were married and had a child together? You could have knocked me over with a feather when I heard that one.
Clarke: Well, it was a bit of a miracle. And it was strange, but a good time.
Pam: Well, you know, it has been said that I'm a good time. But it's also definitely been said that I can be pretty strange, too.
Jackie: Wow, look at me.
Owen: Yeah, look at you.
Jackie: You like them?
Owen: Are you kidding me? How could I not like a photo shoot with my beautiful, sexy wife? Hmm?
Owen: But I-- look, I don't like the way that Whip is going about this. I don’t. I hate it.
(Knock on door)
Whip: Jackie, I-- oh, yeah. You got the proofs, huh? What do you think, Knight? You must feel like the luckiest man in the entire world. It's like you woke up on third base, and you feel like you hit a triple, right?
Owen: Like, what is that supposed to mean?
Whip: It just means that you are married to the hottest new celebrity in fashion. You gotta love it. So listen, um, I really want to follow this up.
Whip: Well, I want to take Indulge, uh, internationally.
Whip: I want to take the campaign on the road.
Jackie: Okay, okay. When you say "on the road," what exactly do you...
Whip: Okay, so I-I think it should be very glamorous and very exotic, obviously, 'cause that's what you are. Now recently, I was on the isle of Capri...
Whip: Off of Sorrento, huh?
Jackie: Oh, my God, the Blue Grotto. (Gasps) Oh!
Whip: Exactly what I was thinking, right? We're right here, okay? Can you imagine that cave, the light?
Jackie: Oh, oh, totally. I mean, the--the color of that water is just--
Whip: And the way it would bounce off of those gorgeous, stunning eyes of yours.
Whip: Don't you think? Are you with me on this?
Jackie: Oh. Hmm.
Stephanie: This wedding is going to happen soon, I hope.
Taylor: Yes, and I have a lot of planning to do. Seeing how you gave me just a day to do it all, I-I have a favor or two to ask of you.
Stephanie: Ask away.
Taylor: Well, um, many years ago when Ridge and I got back together, we did that at the beach house, and I really wanted to do it there, but Rick is living there.
Stephanie: Well, I own the beach house. Oh, it can be a great opportunity to throw that little son of a bitch out. Honey, consider it done. What's the next favor?
Taylor: Okay, moving on to the next one is, um, well, I'm sure that you're going to be there already because it is a wedding, and you are family, but I would like to ask you to be my matron of honor because, Stephanie, you have been like a mother to me. I've always told you that, but you-- you've been my best friend. You've been like a sister to me, and it wouldn't be the same if you weren't standing up there with me.
Stephanie: Oh, sweetheart, I'd be thrilled. I mean, of course, I'd be honored.
Stephanie: (Chuckles) Great.
Katie: Brooke, you've gotta stop texting him.
Brooke: I have to get through to him somehow, Katie.
Donna: Yes, but if he keeps telling you to leave him alone, it--you should stop.
Brooke: What am I supposed to do?
(Cell phone beeps)
Brooke: A message from Ridge. "Logan, leave me alone."
Brooke: "Don't come to my office. Don't come to my house. Let me enjoy this time that I have with Taylor and the kids."
Donna: My gosh, this is so wrong of him. I mean, Brooke, this is so unlike Ridge.
Ridge: Hey, you two. I need some help. What are you doing?
Steffy: Um, just checking our e-mails.
Ridge: Okay, you need to stop it and help me find my damn phone. It's around here somewhere.
Steffy: Oh, did you check between, um, the couch cushions?
Ridge: No. I'll check.
Thomas: (Mouths words)
Steffy: Oh, here it is.
Ridge: Oh, great.
Ridge: Oh, wonderful. I knew if anybody was gonna find this, it would be you. You're a lifesaver. Thank you. What's the matter? Tell me. Is something wrong? What's up? Say it.
Steffy: Um, yeah. Something is wrong. It's, uh, it's about Brooke and Mom.
Pam: You know, I can't imagine why Sally Spectra would bail on a big hunk of man like you.
Clarke: Well, you know, I am not as perfect as most people think.
Pam: (Clicks tongue) No, really?
Clarke: Oh, yeah, I have my faults. I used to be quite the opportunist.
Pam: No, not you.
Clarke: Mm. When Sally had this place, oh, I had ideas. I had a lot of talent. I had one idea. I tried to use her, and she used that to charm me.
Pam: Everybody says that she is the most amazing woman.
Clarke: Oh, yeah. There's no one like her. (Chuckles) Oh, that crazy redhead.
Jackie: Okay, um...
Jackie: What about, um, well, the equipment?
Whip: Oh, we'll rent that in Italy.
Jackie: Well, they can supply us?
Whip: What, are you kidding? They--they practically invented fashion photography.
Jackie: (Sighs) Oh, wow. This could actually happen?
Whip: No, this is going to happen, Jackie. In a month, you are gonna be on the cover of every major fashion rag in the industry. Well, I'd like to start shooting as early as next week in Capri.
Owen: Uh, no, no. Wait, wait. Slow down. Slow down. There's a big swell coming in next week.
Whip: I'm sorry. "Swell"?
Jackie: Oh, the--the waves. The--the huge waves.
Owen: Yeah, my wife and I, we were gonna go surfing.
Whip: Well, you can do that in Biarritz.
Owen: In Biarritz?
Whip: Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
Jackie: Oh, it's France, darling.
Owen: Well, why would we want to go to France to go surfing when we could just surf right here? I mean, the waves are better here, and--
Whip: (Chuckles) Well, I don't know. Um, the food, culture, all the reasons that you go to Europe.
Whip: You have been to Europe, haven't you?
Owen: No, Whip, I have not been to Europe.
Whip: My apologies. Not even England?
Owen: I haven't had a reason to go to England.
Whip: Well, you have the perfect reason right here, your beautiful wife. You could go and find out about all of her culture and where she grew up, and...
Owen: Yeah, you know what? I would love to go there with you, all right?
Owen: I'm gonna head home.
Owen: All right? (Kisses Jackie) See you there.
Owen: Later, Whip. See you around.
Whip: Ciao, bella. (Door closes)
Ridge: You're concerned about your mother and Brooke? Why?
Steffy: Brooke's been pressuring you.
Ridge: How do you know that?
Thomas: Dad, of course she's been pressuring you. You've seen her, right?
Ridge: Brooke knows where my priorities are.
Steffy: Does she?
Ridge: Sweetie, what are you really trying to say here?
Steffy: (Sighs) For years now, we've-- we've been waiting for this. We never thought it was actually gonna happen, and now that it has, it--
Ridge: What, are you afraid something's gonna go wrong? Is that what's going on?
Steffy: I want you to know that we'll do anything to prevent that.
Ridge: I know, sweetie. I know.
Stephanie: Thank you very much.
Stephanie: "Text me, Ridge. I need you."
Brooke: (Gasps) Oh, my God.
Stephanie: "Your Logan." Honey, they're getting married. You're making a fool of yourself. Where's your dignity?
Brooke: What are you talking about? Have you said that to Taylor? It's not very dignified begging a man to marry you.
Stephanie: He bought her an engagement ring. I don't think... (Chuckles) I don't think she begged him for that.
Brooke: I don't believe you.
Stephanie: I just saw it. It's absolutely stunning. You know the irony of all of this? All the years that I hoped it would work out this way-- in the end, it had absolutely nothing to do with me.
Brooke: It's not going to work out, Stephanie. He's never going to be happy with her.
Stephanie: He is happy with her, and you've got to stop stalking him.
Brooke: No, we are going to be together. He doesn't love Taylor the way he loves me. He never will, never!
(Sends text message)
Jackie: (Sighs) (Chuckles) Owen. Oh, isn't he cute?
Whip: Mm. Needed to walk you to the car, huh?
Jackie: I wanted to walk him to the car.
Whip: Well, he's a lucky guy.
Jackie: Yes, he is.
Whip: Does he stimulate you?
Jackie: Excuse me?
Whip: Intellectually, I mean. Come on. I know he's charming, Jackie. But you are a smart, savvy, great lady. You need to be challenged, and not just in the bedroom. So I hope he's there for you, because you deserve the best.
(Knock on door)
Stephanie: Oh, what a nice surprise.
Ridge: Come in.
Stephanie: You're still here. Hi, honey.
Steffy: Hi, Grandma.
Stephanie: How are you?
Steffy: Good. How are you doing?
Stephanie: I just had a very nice breakfast, um, with your bride-to-be.
Steffy: Oh, did you see her ring?
Stephanie: Oh, did I ever.
Stephanie: Honey, you outdid yourself on that. I also ran into Brooke.
Ridge: Well, I hope you two were civil to each other.
Stephanie: Of course we were. She's not giving up on you, though, is she?
Ridge: What do you mean by that?
Stephanie: Well, she keeps sending you texts.
Ridge: No, she's not.
Stephanie: Yes, she is. I saw her do it. She made a big deal of it right--right there in front of me.
Ridge: Well, let me check.
Steffy: Well-- well, what's the big deal? Mom and Dad are getting married anyways. Why are you bringing her up?
Ridge: No, nothing from Brooke.
Steffy: Yeah, see? She probably already moved on by now.
Ridge: Well, I have to get to work. Are we okay?
Steffy: Yeah. Yeah, we're, um, great. I'll--I will see you later.
Ridge: Okay. Mother.
Stephanie: Honey, have a great day. Good to see you.
Stephanie: (Clears throat) So, um, what's going on?
Steffy: What are you talking about?
Stephanie: Come on now. I mention that he's getting texts from Brooke, and you get all weird and wiggly. What is going on? What do you know about this?
Brooke: An engagement ring? How could you? You're not in love with Taylor.
Brooke: But all of these horrible messages that you've been leaving me lately-- maybe I'm the one that you don't love anymore. (Sobs) Ridge. (Sobs) Ridge. (Sobs)
Steffy: I don't even want Dad thinking about Brooke, so why do you keep bringing her up?
Stephanie: Because you're the one that seems to be very concerned about these texts, so I want to know what's going on.
Steffy: Look, I just don't even want to talk about Brooke.
Stephanie: We can't ignore her because she continues to pursue your father.
Steffy: Well, she won't be for long.
Steffy: (Sighs) Okay, okay. Thomas and I, we did something. And maybe we shouldn't have, but...
Stephanie: What did you do?
Steffy: You're right. Brooke has been texting Dad.
Stephanie: He told you that?
Steffy: No. He hasn't gotten the messages.
Steffy: Okay, Thomas and I, we intercepted Brooke’s messages on Dad's phone. Dad was with Mom, so we answered it.
Stephanie: You sent her back a text on your father's phone?
Steffy: Yeah. We told her to back off and how he didn't want to see her, and made sure it came from him and didn't sound like it was coming from us. She kept pleading and hounding and kept saying how much she loved him.
Stephanie: Did you answer all of her texts?
Steffy: Yes, every one. He thought he lost his phone. But she doesn't get it. He has to be here with us, Grandma.
Stephanie: Honey, you-- you can't continue to do this. You--you do realize that.
Steffy: I know. We gave him back his phone.
Steffy: So we forwarded his messages to my phone.
Stephanie: How did you do that?
Steffy: Let's just say Thomas is a genius. Grandma, I-I'm sorry. I-I know you think this is wrong, but we're not gonna stop, so don't tell us to.
Stephanie: No, no. I'm not gonna tell you to stop. I think it's absolutely bri-- brilliant. And I think the two of you are geniuses.
Steffy: Wait. Really? You're not-- you're not angry?
Stephanie: No, I'm not the least bit angry. Honestly, I think it's-- I think it is brilliant. But I think we should keep it just between you and me and Thomas.
Steffy: I won't let her break Mom's heart. He needs to be here with us.
Stephanie: Yes, he does.
Stephanie: And he's going to be. They're going to get married, and we are gonna make damn sure that Brooke doesn't interfere in any way.
