Ridge: If Pam's off her medication, we need to step in now.

Thomas: Especially since grandma's living with her now.

Steffy: Yeah, you're right. What if she tries to hurt her?

Taylor: Okay, listen, everybody, I-I know what Pam did was--was horrible, and it embarrassed Donna a lot, but I don't think anybody's gonna look at it as anything but, like, a childish stunt.

Ridge: One that could overshadow our entire collection. We needed this showing to be a success. All those designs are completely useless now. You know the only thing the press is gonna remember is all that honey dripping down Donnaís face.

Thomas: So we'll find some way to capitalize on that.

Steffy: Exactly. You can't get those tough honey stains out of your gown? Buy Forrester. Our fabrics always wash clean.

Ridge: (Sighs) It might come to that.

Steffy: Dad, we're gonna be there for you. Thomas and I are committed to you and to Forrester Creations.

Taylor: Me, too. I'm right there. If you need anything, I'll--I'll be there to help you in two seconds.

Ridge: Thank you. Thank you all. It means a lot to me to know that you're all there to help me.

Donna: Scandal and conflict-- that's all I bring to Ericís life now. I just--I don't know why he wants me part of it anymore.

Marcus: Mom, come on now. Don't talk that way.

Donna: (Sighs)

Marcus: Eric loves you, and you know that.

Donna: I know. Of course I know. I just--look, it's just been so hard to go through all this. I just don't want to cause any more grief for my honey bear.

Marcus: Mom, you're not the one causing the grief. It's Pam.

Donna: I know. And she's gone.

Marcus: She is?

Donna: Yes. She quit, well, just as Eric was about to fire her.

Marcus: Well, okay, then. Mom, there you go. Something good came out of it, right?

Donna: Yeah, I guess. I guess. Having Pam away from here is worth any embarrassment. Now what's in the envelope?

Marcus: Hmm? Oh. What? What envelope, Mom? What are you talking about?

Donna: I don't--

Marcus: (Laughs)

Donna: The one that you've been trying to hide from me since the second you got here. What--

Marcus: Oh, you mean, um... this envelope? Um, it's nothing, Mom, really. It's just some pictures that Jake took. Don't worry about it.

Donna: Of me drenched in honey. I want to see those.

Marcus: N-no, Mom. I don't-- I don't think you should anyway.

Donna: No, I-I can handle it.

Marcus: No, Mom, you know what? It's okay, okay? You know what? Don't even worry about it, okay? I'm pretty sure it's the last thing either you or Eric need to be seeing right now. (Clears throat) Where is he, by the way?

Donna: He is, um, down at the P.R. office making calls to anyone and everyone. He's trying to get the reporters to focus on... (sighs) the beautiful designs and not Pamís antics.

Marcus: Oh. Do you think he'll be able to?

Donna: No, he will. Well, most of them anyway. I'm--I'm just worried about Bill Spencer. If he puts that story on the "Eye On Fashion" cover, I mean, it could be big trouble.

Bill: More wine?

Katie: You're willing to pour me another glass of wine?

Bill: Well, you'll notice I only ordered wine. No, uh, liquor. No gin or whiskey or whatever it was you were drinking the first night we met.

Katie: Vodka.

Bill: You'll be sticking to wine tonight.

Katie: I'm perplexed. You were so nice to me that night. You took care of me. You could have taken advantage, but you didnít.

Bill: Hmm.

Katie: How can this be the same man who's so ruthlessly targeting Forrester Creations?

Bill: Well, that's simple. My dream is to run a fashion house, not to take advantage of inebriated women.

Katie: Your dream? Seriously?

Bill: Dead serious. It's a dream I believe will come to fruition very soon, and when it does, I'll need someone by my side to run it with me. How about you, Katie?

Thomas: You know, if you stare at it long enough, it will make Rick text you.

Steffy: For you information, I wasn't thinking about Rick.

Thomas: Marcus?

Steffy: Whoa. Where did that come from?

Thomas: I've just seen the two of you hanging out more now. Marcus is a good guy. You should think about giving him a second chance.

Ridge: I second that.

Taylor: Hear, hear.

Steffy: Huh. Okay, why do I suddenly get the feeling you guys like Marcus, I don't know, because his name isn't Rick?

Ridge: He's a charming young guy that actually treats you with respect.

Taylor: Mm-hmm.

Steffy: Look, I know you guys mean well, and I appreciate it, but Rick treats me with respect, too. Trust me. I've told you this before. I'm not rushing into anything. And he's got to prove if he really wants me, so...

Taylor: That sure is a smart kid you've got there.

Ridge: Takes after her mother.

Thomas: It's been a long day.

Steffy: Yeah, it's, um, it's getting late so...

Thomas: We'll see you two in the morning.

Ridge: What was that all about?

Taylor: I-I have no idea. (Laughs) I have no idea. I guess they're trying to give us more time alone. (Sniffles) Well, did you notice that?

Ridge: Notice what?

Taylor: For the first time in a long time, we were able to just sit down and discuss things and actually talk to Steffy about Rick without a huge ordeal. Nobody was screaming. Nobody had drama. There was no upset.

Ridge: I did notice that.

Taylor: It was like we were finally just, um, communicating. It's nice. Finally, it feels like there's some peace in our family. And that's thanks to you.

Katie: You want me to help you run Forrester Creations. That's insane. (Laughs)

Bill: Why?

Katie: (Laughs)

Bill: You think I'm joking, but I'm not.

Katie: I think you're conceited, and you are.

Bill: (Laughs) Look, uh, I don't accept failure. I don't know failure, and if that makes me conceited, so be it. I want Forrester Creations. Therefore, I will have it. I will break Eric, and I will buy the company. And when I do, I'll need an ally, someone on the inside who can help me make a smooth transition.

Katie: What makes you think I would ever take you up on your offer?

Bill: Because you crave something more. You desire something other than mediocrity. You want something bigger. Now don't tell me you don't, because I can smell the potential in you.

Katie: (Laughs) It's a family company. I can't be responsible for destroying it.

Bill: The big fish ate the little fish. That's the way of the world. And in case you haven't noticed, I'm the killer whale.

Katie: Okay, let's say you succeed. Let's say you take over Forrester Creations, and I'm right there by your side.

Bill: Mm-hmm.

Katie: Am I supposed to feel happy about my success knowing that I've deprived my sisters of their livelihood?

Bill: Eric had every opportunity to sell me his company. Now if he had, he would have gotten a big fat payday, and your sisters would have been just fine. But instead, he made an emotional decision. Don't make the same mistake. You can't get emotional about business.

Katie: Hmm. So that's really how you operate? Do you get emotional about anything? I mean, you seem to know what you want in business, and you seem to be pretty good at it, but what about your personal life? Ever let emotion get in the way there? Or doesn't a big, strong, powerful man like you have a life outside of business?

Donna: Marcus, it's getting late. Don't you want to head out?

Marcus: No, I'm good.

Donna: Look, you don't have to baby-sit me, okay? I'm sure you have better things to do with your time.

Marcus: Oh, well, I was actually thinking about dropping by to see Steffy.

Donna: You should.

Marcus: No. No. I don't--I don't want to leave you alone, Mom. I'm okay.

Donna: No, I'm fine. I'm fine, really. E-Eric's gonna be back here soon.

Marcus: Well, isn't there anything I can do to help him out?

Donna: You know, I'm sure he has everything under control. He's gonna walk through that door in a second and say that the reporters are focusing on the beautiful designs and that nobody even cares about Pamís stupid honey prank.

Marcus: Even Bill Spencer? I mean, how is Eric gonna convince him?

Donna: He's not. Katie is.

Marcus: Oh. Look, Mom--Mom, I hate to say this, but, uh, you know those photos of you on the runway covered with honey? It wasn't a good look.

Donna: Oh, my God. If he plasters that all over "Eye On Fashion"... okay, you know what? I-I'm not even gonna let my mind go there. Katie is going to come through for us. She has to.

Bill: I have a life outside of business.

Katie: Prove it.

Bill: What do you call what we're doing tonight?

Katie: Business.

Bill: (Laughs) All right. Well, with a little pleasure mixed in, right?

Katie: Oh, really?

Bill: We can evaluate it as the evening progresses. How about that?

Katie: And you think the evening's gonna progress to your hotel suite? I don't think so. That place gives me the spins.

Bill: I believe that was the vodka, not my hotel suite.

Katie: All I know is the one minute I was in your bed, the next minute I was throwing up.

Bill: (Laughs) Well, you'll be glad to know that my bed doesn't always have that affect on women.

Katie: (Laughs) Seriously, I'd--I'd like to thank you for being so considerate. It would be-- would have been easy to take advantage.

Bill: It's not my style. I wouldn't want you to miss out.

Katie: Miss out?

Bill: On the experience. When I'm with a woman, I want her to know she's being made love to.

Katie: (Sighs)

Marcus: (Clears throat)

Steffy: Marcus.

Marcus: Hey. (Laughs) Your brother told me you was out there. I hope you don't mind.

Steffy: No no. Of course not.

Marcus: It's not too late, is it?

Steffy: No. Thomas and I said we were gonna go to bed early so my mom and dad could have some time alone.

Marcus: Oh. Yeah. That's--that's pretty cool.

Steffy: You know, I just--I always hoped that my parents would get back together, you know? I just--I didn't think it could ever happen. I just wish Phoebe could be a part of it.

Marcus: Maybe she knows.

Steffy: Yeah, definitely. You know, I think she's thrilled about it. Man, we used to talk and talk about somehow getting our parents back together.

Marcus: Yeah. You know, it's funny how that can happen even after so much time apart. It just proves that you should never give up, especially when you know someone's right for you.

Steffy: Even when that person hurt you?

Marcus: Even then.

Katie: You're a very unpredictable man.

Bill: Women like that, don't they?

Katie: Some women might.

Bill: Not you, Katie?

Katie: I came here to talk to you about this picture.

Bill: Is that the only reason you came?

Katie: I'm asking you not to print it.

Bill: You want to deprive me of my next cover?

Katie: Don't do this.

Bill: This photograph has power. It's exciting. It's arousing. It's naughty. It's wrong. But we all need that in our lives, don't we, Katie? Isn't that what you want... when you go to the newsstand? Good journalism is provocative. It draws you in. It's seductive. Makes you want more.

Bill: Beautiful picture, right? Boring. It looks like every other fashion runway photo.

Bill: Now this photograph-- Donna, beautiful, dripping in honey. Now that's gonna generate hype. That is gonna generate talk.

Bill: That serves me, but it also serves you.

Bill: One of these photos is going to be my next cover of "Eye On Fashion."

Bill: And all you have to do is click, and you can choose which photo it's going to be. It's your choice. Boring. Ho-hum. Edgy. Hard. (Whispers) Push it.

Katie: (Sighs) I-I canít. I canít.

Katie: Why did you do that? How could you do that?

Bill: Business, Katie.

Katie: No. No. Not with you. With you, it's personal. (Sighs) This is about you. You are so angry. You--you want to bring the whole world to its knees. Why?

Bill: You think you're gonna psychoanalyze me?

Katie: Who--who hurt you, Bill? Because they really messed you up bad. You know, I don't like giving up on people, I really donít. But I have to believe that there's something more to you than--than--than just this cold, hard man who operates without emotions. I mean, it's amazing. You--you have all this wealth and all of this power, and--and I bet you don't have a friend in the world. It's kind of a sad way to live your life, don't you think? But I see something else in you. Maybe other people don't see it, but it's there. I know it.

Bill: I like you. I don't want to hurt you. So don't try to fix me. Don't try to get inside me. You won't like what you see.

(Door closes)

Taylor: You've had a hard day.

Ridge: Yeah.

Taylor: Well, I'm glad you had a place to come home to away from the storm, a place where you can feel safe and protected.

Ridge: Protection from the storm.

Taylor: Let us give you that. I know there's a lot still going on inside of you, but you do-- you already seem like you're a lot more at peace. You're a lot more content.

Ridge: (Sighs) I am.

Taylor: (Sighs) Good. That's enough for now.

Ridge: You've been good to me, Doc.

Taylor: (Sighs)

Ridge: You've been good for me.

Taylor: (Sighs) I don't know about that. I mean, you're the one who's changing lives right now. You're making our house feel like a home again. You're making the kids feel like they have a-a family. You're giving me a reason to look beyond myself.  It seems like, since our family fell apart, it's just been one tragedy after another, and it feels like it's finally coming to an end. Thank you. Thank you for coming back to our family. Thank you for making me feel like I'm alive again. (Sniffles) I never, ever want to go back to living without you.
