Ridge: We've got a couple incredible kids.
Taylor: Mm. It means so much to them to have you here again.
Ridge: It means a lot to me, too.
Taylor: That makes it unanimous then.
Eric: It's really nothing for you to be concerned about. Look, to that end, we're-- we're showing a new collection tomorrow. Why don't you come take a look at it? I think you'll be very pleased. Thank you. Good-bye. (Sighs)
Donna: A reporter?
Eric: No, a banker. They're getting very nervous, and to tell you the truth, so am I.
Donna: Eric, your collection is breathtaking. Look, all you need is just... (sighs) a few good reviews and a little bump in sales, and you'll feel better.
Eric: A bump in sales?
Pam: Oh, my. This little house of horrors hasn't changed one bit.
Stephanie: (Clears throat)
Donna: (Clears throat)
Eric: What are you doing here? Come to wish me good luck for tomorrow?
Stephanie: Absolutely, and, uh, perhaps offer just a little bit of advice.
Pam: (Chuckles) He never listened to you when you worked here. Why would he listen to you now?
Stephanie: Well, because I'm partnered in the hottest fashion house in Los Angeles. And I'd hope you'd listen to what I have to say.
Bridget: Well, you promised me that the honeymoon would never end. I'm gonna hold you to it. (Meows)
Bridget: (Chuckles) What's the matter? You don't like this?
Nick: It's from the cat family.
Bridget: (Scoffs) It is a leopard.
Nick: Okay, anything but a cougar.
Bridget: (Chuckles) This is reminding you of your mother.
Nick: (Stammers) I don't want to talk about it. I don't want to talk about it.
Bridget: No, anything that reminds you of your mom I'm just gonna go take off. Or...
Bridget: You could always help me take it off.
Rick: You going to bed?
Brooke: Well, the kids are asleep, so yeah. I might--I might just read for a little while.
Rick: (Sighs) Mom, this is the problem. You can't leave work. You need a reason to get up every day.
Brooke: (Sighs) Honey, I'll be fine. Don't worry.
Rick: Look, I'll tell you what. I have an idea. You stay at Forrester 'cause it's in your blood, and I'll go.
Ridge: When I bought this house, I came out here to the pool and imagined a million nights just like this.
Taylor: Well, we lived here a long time. Not always both of us at the same time. (Chuckles)
Ridge: Well, at least, uh, when one of us was absent, it was still our home, wasn't it?
Taylor: Do you still feel like that now?
Ridge: Yeah. Here.
Taylor: So... here's to a beautiful homecoming.
Eric: So what do you want to say, Stephanie?
Stephanie: Eric, I think perhaps it's time to turn a page. Ridge and Brooke have separated. Thorne, Felicia have left the company, and Brooke-- Brooke has taken a leave of absence, as well.
Eric: She'll be back.
Stephanie: Well, that's not the point, because Brooke isn't the answer to this. Ridge is. He's all that you have left, and you really should make use of him. He can make this company something again. He can restore it. I think you should step aside and let Ridge take over.
Donna: You want Eric to throw in the towel?
Stephanie: He's earned this opportunity, Eric.
Pam: He certainly couldn't make things any worse, could he?
Stephanie: Look, he's in a very stable position in his life. He's all that you have left. What would be so wrong if you were to retire? Relax. Enjoy the money that you've earned. You have a beautiful, young trophy wife. Why not take her on a great trip around the world?
Pam: Trophy wife? More like a booby prize, wouldn't you say?
Stephanie: Uh, Pam. Pam. Uh, perhaps if we talked about this a little.
Donna: Eric, no.
Eric: It's all right, Donna.
Pam: I've got a glass at my desk, and if you promise to behave, I just might let you hold it against the door. (Whispers) Lock it.
Eric: What are you doing? You come into my office. You barge in here making demands that--that Ridge take over the business. What gives you the right to do that?
Stephanie: I am concerned about this company, the company that you and I built together.
Eric: And you feel that that involves my stepping down?
Stephanie: I think-- okay, I think that Ridge has the talent. We all know that. But he has the reputation to restore this company to its greatness.
Eric: And if I don't?
Stephanie: I'm afraid. I'm afraid that Forrester will fail.
Pam: She will talk him into this, you know.
Donna: No, she's being ridiculous. All right, Ridge is back with Taylor, so Eric should resign. I mean, it's crazy.
Pam: You know what I think is crazy? I think it's crazy that Eric is having you model the showstopper. If he really wants this fashion show to be elegant, that is not the way to go.
Donna: Says fashion expert "Susie sweater set"?
Pam: (Chuckles) I may not be chic, Donna, but I am smart.
Pam: And I'm smart enough to know that Stephanie’s right. Eric should go. And hopefully, he'll take the whole bunch of you Logans with him.
Brooke: Rick, that's really very sweet of you, but you don't have to leave the company.
Rick: Mom, really, you should stay. I will go.
Brooke: (Sighs) I can’t. This is not about you. This is Ridge. I just can't be around him.
Rick: Look, what if Steffy and I went to Forrester International? No, no, no, listen to me. Think about it.
Rick: Then Ridge wouldn't have to--to see me every day.
Rick: I've been a selfish jerk. I should have gone months ago. Steffy asked me about it, and I said no. (Sighs)
Brooke: Because you live here, and so does she. There would be no point in you leaving. It's not gonna help anything.
Rick: Mom, this whole thing is my fault.
Brooke: It's not your fault, but Ridge is going to blame you always for Phoebe's death. There's nothing we can do to change that. Anyway, he's moved on with Taylor. I just hope that she can make him happy.
Rick: You think? Are you happy? 'Cause you don't look happy.
Brooke: I'll be fine. I'll just spend more time with you and Bridget, and Hope and R.J. keep me busy. And I have my memories. Ridge and I may not be together right now, but our love will never die.
Taylor: I've been wanting to thank you for being there to help me through all of this, and--
Ridge: We've been here for each other, Doc.
Taylor: I just-- I don't want to get ahead of myself. I mean, I know you're here, but I don't know exactly what that means. Just having you here, everything, it just-- it feels right. I don't think I have to tell you this, but you know I love you. I've never stopped loving you. I miss you.
Taylor: I would give anything to have things back the way they were.
Taylor: I hope you don't mind me saying that to you. But it's the way I feel. I'm not trying to pressure you. I'm not. And I'm not ready to call it a night.
Ridge: Then we won’t.
Donna: I can't hear anything.
Pam: Are you afraid Stephanie’s getting through to him?
Donna: No, my honey bear loves this company too much to let it go.
Pam: You know, I really hope that Eric does quit so that I never have to hear those two words again.
Donna: You know, I have a favor to ask. Um, do you think that you could call the store for me and order me a case of those honey bears? You see, Eric and I are gonna be doing a lot of celebrating after the showing, and, well, I would hate to run out.
Pam: Have you ever thought that it's a little much asking me to order the honey that you used to steal my sister's husband?
Donna: Pammy, I'm your boss, not Stephanie. So if I ask you to order honey, you'll order honey.
Eric: Well, this is my company, Stephanie. I will decide when and if I step down.
Stephanie: You're gonna be leaving one way or the other, either hauled out of here by creditors, or going out the front door with your head held high.
Eric: (Laughs) Forrester Creations is not doomed here. I've taken this company through worse times than this.
Stephanie: Yes, you have. But it's different now. There's no one left. Thorne and Felicia are gone. Brooke is gone. The on-- you have yourself, Ridge and your sexy wife.
Eric: Look, if Ridge cannot help me get through this situation here, what makes you think he could get through by himself?
Stephanie: Ridge and Taylor together. They can restore a sense of dignity and-- and a-and a reputation to Forrester Creations.
Eric: Oh, for God's sake.
Stephanie: Look, you are so blinded by your loyalty to Donna and her family, you don't realize how you've dragged this business down. The press knows it. They've deserted you. The clients have deserted you. The only-- the children know it. The only person sitting around waiting is Bill Spencer. He is circling.
Eric: Oh. Oh, why do you care? I asked you to come back here to help me hold this company together, and you refused. So why do you care what even happens to this company?
Stephanie: Because it's our children's legacy. I know this is hard. I understand that. But it's time to step aside. It's time to turn it over to them. And if you don't do this, Eric, honestly, I think there'll be nothing left for you or for them.
Eric: That's not gonna happen.
Eric: Tomorrow is a whole new beginning for Forrester Creations. People seem to have forgotten what we do around here, what we do better here than anywhere else.
Stephanie: What if you turned the business over to Ridge now? Then tomorrow-- tomorrow's showing would be a whole brand-new fresh start for the company. Look, if it doesn't turn out the way you-- you've got it planned in your head, I-- honestly, I think tomorrow could turn out to be the last showing that you ever do.
Nick: Owen's after her money. It's the only reason he married her. If he makes her sign anything, we'll kill him. We'll kill him, and we'll stuff him. And we'll bring him to the zoo, and we'll put him in the Tarzan exhibit. Nobody'll know the difference.
Bridget: You can either go on like this, or you can make me happy and make love to me. Either way, I'll be waiting at the foot of the bed for your decision.
Bridget: (Sighs) (sighs) Nick!
Pam: Yep, that's right. A whole case of honey bear bottles. I know. I know. I mean, it seems like such a waste, but we recycle them. But if there was some way to reuse 'em-- you do? By the gallon?
(Elevator bell dings)
Pam: (Quietly) George, I want you to order me, uh, 10 gallons. Yep, that's right. I said 10 gallons, and I-I'm gonna pick 'em up first thing tomorrow morning. Okay. (Normal voice) Thank you. You want honey, Donna? You got honey. (Laughs) I think you're about to find yourself in a very sticky situation. (Laughs)
Ridge: Wonder where the kids went.
Taylor: (Chuckles) Well, you know, they cooked up this plan to leave us here alone all night.
Ridge: Yeah, they weren't too subtle, were they?
Taylor: No. But all children want to see their parents get back together.
Ridge: Yeah, I know.
Taylor: (Sighs) I love to come out here and just look at the stars. I never used to do that, but now I think I do it every night. I feel, like, a connection to Phoebe. It makes me feel like she's still here with us.
Ridge: I find myself looking up there, too, for guidance, to feel Phoebe's presence.
Taylor: Well, maybe, um, maybe that's what she did. Maybe she led you back here, you know, because we loved her. She was a part of us.
Taylor: You know what I think? I think she knew we needed each other. She knows that we belong together.
Taylor: Come home to me, Ridge. Come home to me.
