Donna: One night with me, and you'll back off. No calls to Immigration, no charges against my husband. You'll drop the demand for him to sell Forrester Creations to you.

Bill: That's the offer on the table.

Donna: What's in it for you, Bill?

Bill: A night I won't forget with a woman I won't forget.

Donna: No, no, it's not that. It's something else. This is just a power trip for you, isn't it? Seeing if you can get me to betray my husband?

Bill: Betray your husband, or save him? Which would it be?

Stephanie: He may have us right where he wants us.

Eric: We've gotta find a way out of this.

Stephanie: I don't know, Eric. We've got-- we've got illegal people that we've provided false IDs with. He's got the proof. It's one call to the I.N.S.

Eric: I'm not gonna sell this company to him!

Stephanie: Well, you may have to, Eric, you may have to.

Nick: Mm.

Bridget: This isn't, um, working.

Nick: It works for me.

Bridget: Didn't you call me in here for a meeting?

Nick: About what?

Bridget: (Stammers)

Nick: But--but don't-- don't--don't leave. I'm--I'm sure it'll come back to me.

Bridget: Okay.

Nick: Mm.

Bridget: And there was nothing that you wanted to talk to me about?

Nick: Mm.

Bridget: Like, uh, like this?

Nick: I didn't draw that. I-I didn't draw that.

Bridget: Oh, right, no, of--of course--of course not.

Nick: Okay, something came down I didn't actually tell you about. (Clears throat) I tried to fire Owen. I tried to get rid of him, and my mother came to his rescue, which tells me she's really into this guy, and it's kind of bugging me.

Bridget: Oh, really? I mean, I-I didn't notice.

Nick: But I'll feel a lot better soon, after I kill him.

Owen: You aren't the only one getting something out of this, Jackie.

Jackie: (Laughs) You're right. You got a raise, you got a promotion...

Owen: No.

Jackie: And you got a fast car.

Owen: I get to be with you...

Jackie: (Laughs)

Owen: Just like this.

Jackie: Better than a car?

Owen: Are you kidding me?

Jackie: Hmm?

Owen: There isn't a car in the world with a chassis this hot.

Jackie: (Laughs) Oh! Mm.

Donna: You just love this, don't you? You're the puppet master pulling all the strings, making us all dance.

Bill: I'm only interested in one of the dancers.

Donna: Stop. Just stop. Stop it. There will be no romantic evening with me.

Bill: Well, that's too bad. I hope Ericís prepared to sell. Enjoy your evening with your honey bear. There won't be many more.

Nick: (Groans)

Bridget: Maybe we'll take your jacket off. I think you're thinking about them again...

Nick: Oh.

Bridget: Your mom and Owen.

Nick: Sorry, I just can't believe this. I just hope my mother will come to her senses, and soon, and this whole thing will be over with.

Bridget: Right. Of course, Jackie and Owen could be down the hall doing exactly what we're doing.

Nick: Oh, please, come on. (Scoffs) Please, God. I mean, just the thought of it. (Sighs heavily) Besides, my mother's working at home today... alone. At least, she better be.

Owen: Oh, my God, woman, you are wearing me out.

Jackie: Oh.

Owen: (Exhales deeply)

Jackie: Don't tell me you're tired.

Owen: Of you? No way. I'm not gonna give you up, not for anybody.

Jackie: Oh, dear, you're talking about Nicky.

Owen: Oh, gosh, he is gonna be all over my case every single minute we are in that office together.

Jackie: (Giggles) Oh, my, God forbid he should find out what we did on his desk.

Owen: That is not funny.

Jackie: (Giggles) Mm...

Owen: You know, I was thinking about Nick. We need to get him to realize that we are serious, you know, that we do mean a lot to each other. So I was thinking...

Jackie: What?

Owen: What would you say about us moving in together? Come on, I want you to move in with me.

Jackie: (Laughs)

Owen: No, I'm serious. Don't laugh.

Jackie: Me, move into your beach house?

Owen: Come on, we could start and we can end every single day just like this. Come on, isn't that what you want? Hmm?

Jackie: That is very tempting, but I think... it would probably make more sense if you moved in here with me.

Bill: So what's the verdict? Are you going to call your moving company, or your lawyers?

Donna: Eric, your children will understand.

Eric: If mistakes have been made, they were mine. I'm the one who made them. I'm not gonna sacrifice my family's legacy so that I can be safe.

Donna: My God, no, you're--you'll go to jail.

Eric: You can't have my company, Spencer. No deal.

Bill: I'll expose you. I'll tell the world that your sterling reputation was built on the backs of illegal workers.

Stephanie: Oh, please. People come to this country with dreams. He helped them fulfill them. That's how we'll sell it.

Bill: By taking away jobs from hardworking Americans.

Donna: This is not happening. Look, I'm your wife, and I-I'll get you through this, Eric.

Stephanie: How are you going to do that?

Donna: Just one night. Look, every-- everything's gonna look different in the morning, Eric, everything. Just--everyone just needs to calm down.

Eric: Look, I-- no, I don't need any more time, Donna. I've made up my mind.

Bill: All right, Donna. One night. You've got yourself a deal.

Owen: Okay, so let me get this straight. You want me to move in with you?

Jackie: Well, your beach house is very expensive, and you are hardly ever there.

Jackie: And you love this place. You helped me pick it out, and I want you with me. I want you with me all the time, Mr. Knight. What do you say?

Owen: I say that there is no place... that I would rather be than right here with you, Mrs. Marone.

Owen: Mm.

Jackie: (Laughing)

Owen: Follow me.

Jackie: I'm on my way.

Owen: Oh, yes. Come here.

Jackie: Mm.

Bridget: I think you should call your mother. You're clearly still worried about her.

Nick: She's not the one that worries me.

Nick: I think I'm gonna go over there, make sure "Mr. Six-pack" isn't hanging around.

Eric: I know what you're doing.

Donna: No, you donít.

Eric: I've made up my mind, Donna. I'd rather spend a lifetime in jail than to see Bill Spencer behind my desk. And besides, what could one-- what difference could one night make?

Donna: Remember when Nick wanted Forrester Creations, and you spoke to your children and--and you let them have input? Well, I-I thought we could do that again tonight.

Eric: Yeah? They'll just tell me to sell.

Donna: Because they don't want to lose you. I don't want to lose you, either. My God, Eric, don't you see how much you mean to us? We almost lost you once before. I can't--we can't-- we can't go through that again. Bill Spencer cannot get Forrester Creations, and you cannot go to jail. (Sighs) Please. Please. I won't let that happen. (Sighs)

Bill: I'm glad you came.

Donna: The front desk, um, gave me the key and your message to come up.

Bill: Please don't be nervous.

Donna: You've been busy.

Bill: There was no time to get the strolling violinist. This will have to do. I have ordered dinner. It will be sent up when I tell them.

Donna: You've gone all out.

Bill: Well, I promised you an evening to remember. (Glasses clink)

Bill: You're not drinking your champagne.

Bill: You're very uncomfortable.

Donna: I hate having to be here.

Bill: I'm sorry.

Donna: Are you?

Bill: May I be brutally honest?

Donna: (Sniffles) When have you been anything but?

Bill: Eric, your, uh, honey bear-- he's a sweet guy. But he's also a stuttering old man, and he will grow tired of your honey and your skimpy lingerie. He will want his family, his history, Stephanie. That's his pattern. He always returns to the Forrester dynasty. Stephanie epitomizes that. It's happened before. It will happen again.

Donna: No. No way.

Eric: When something like this happens, it reminds you of what's really important in this life-- family, memories... so many of them happening right here in this-- in this room.

Eric: I'm not gonna let go of this company.

Stephanie: Eric. Eric, you've got to be realistic.

Eric: I am. I am being realistic. The company can go on without me. I'm not gonna give it up.

Bill: Haven't you noticed the change? The passion that Stephanie was attacking Eric with, it was extraordinary. Now she's defending him with that same extraordinary passion. There's a lot of emotion there, a lot of history, family. And Eric is all about his family, his children, and that's something that he and Stephanie share. You never will.

Bill: Donna, come on, Eric strayed before, but he always goes back. You want to be part of that? I've looked into it. There's Brooke, of course, Lauren Fenmore, Sheila Carter... they've all had great rides, but in the end, it's Stephanie and Eric together. They are always back together. It will happen again. You saw it today. I did. The impact of Stephanieís defense-- they were bonding. It's happening.

Bill: Don't be another one of Ericís discards.

Donna: No, not a chance.

Bill: You asked me for one night. You didn't come here to give yourself to me. You're not that kind of woman. You came here to try and talk me out of this.

Bill: I don't like many people, Donna, but I do like you, and I want to try and save you from what I believe is the inevitable. You need to get out while the getting's good. Give me a chance to show you how good it can be.

Bill: Stay with me tonight. Save your husband, save his company, most importantly, save yourself.

Jackie: (Laughs)

Owen: (Laughs) Mm.

Nick: Mother?

Jackie: Oh, Nicky, you have deplorable timing.

Nick: You have got to be kidding me!

Jackie: Oh.

Nick: All right, this playtime is over.

Jackie: Oh, well, clearly.

Nick: You and the beach bum-- it stops right now. Get your clothes on. I will deal with you at the office.

Owen: Your mother hasn't asked me to leave.

Nick: Shut up, get dressed, and get out!

Jackie: You do not give the orders around here.

Nick: And we need to talk.

Jackie: Yes, we do. Owen, I need you to leave. It's just for a moment, please. I need a moment alone with my son.

Owen: Are you sure you're going to be okay?

Jackie: I'm fine, really. Please, just give us a moment. (Sighs) You know what? You do not enter my home without knocking, especially now that Owen is going to be living here.

Nick: What did you say?

Jackie: You don't enter my home without--

Nick: No, no, no, no, no. Go back. What did you saw about him?

Jackie: We've just decided it.

Nick: "We" decided it?

Jackie: It was my idea, all right?

Nick: All right, Mother, look, now I understand that Mr. Six-pack may be making you feel good about yourself right now, but it's an illusion. This isn't gonna last, and you're gonna be the one to get hurt.

Jackie: (Sighs) I know what I'm doing, okay? I know the risks. This may not last. Hell, it probably won't, but I do intend to enjoy every moment of it...

Nick: And I'll be--

Jackie: For as long as it does.

Nick: Who's gonna pick up the pieces when your little house of cards falls?

Jackie: Nicky! I need you to understand. I need you to accept this, all right? I have spent so much of my life just holed up in one stingy, dodgy apartment after another, watching everybody else, including you, have a life, while mine just withered away to almost nothing. But I've been saved, okay? I've got companionship now, and I feel--yes-- young, and I feel free, and, God, sometimes I even feel funny. How about that? I am alive. And if this man has been able to bring all of that into my life, you just tell me how it can be wrong.

Nick: I just thought, Mother, you might be with someone that--

Jackie: What, who is more appropriate, who is older, who is heavier? I don't want to change anything about him, Nicky, not one thing.

Nick: He's taking advantage of you.

Jackie: Right. So it's, uh, impossible for you to think that he actually might care for me, right? I'm so undesirable.

Nick: That's not what I mean at all, and you know it.

Jackie: Mm-hmm. You came in here demanding that I choose. Don't you know I will always choose you? You're my son, for God sake! Please, Nicky, I'm imploring you, don't make me choose. Please, don't make me choose.
