Donna: You are just the queen of melodrama. All the indignities to your children, the injustices. "A day of reckoning"? What-- what are you gonna come down from the heavens and--and smite us with your mighty sword?

Stephanie: Hmm. An interesting thought.

Donna: News flash-- Eric trusts my family. We are on the inside, and you, my darling, are on the outside. You're just a bitter woman bent on destruction, but it's not gonna happen. We control Forrester, Stephanie, and we're gonna survive no matter what you do.

Stephanie: Well, then you have nothing to fear, do you?

Donna: I'm not scared of you.

Stephanie: Good. But you know, honey, the truth is you're too dumb to know when trouble's staring you right in the face.

Donna: (Scoffs)

Jackie: (Humming)

Nick: Well, you’re in a good mood.

Jackie: Oh, my, I love this little gadget.

Nick: Since when did you learn to download music?

Jackie: Uh, Owen taught me. Oh, Nicky, I am so thrilled that you and Bridget are together again. How is Katie taking the news?

Nick: She's trying to be supportive.

Jackie: Oh?

Nick: I'm sure she and Bridget will mend their friendship soon.

Jackie: Yeah, well, that's a blessing, isn't it? Especially for Katie. Might alleviate her guilty conscience.

Nick: Hey.

Jackie: Mm-hmm?

Nick: About your involvement with Owen.

Jackie: (chuckles)

Nick: I think it's embarrassing that you have to pay for sex, Mother.

Jackie: Oh, darling, that's not what is happening.

Nick: He went from stock boy to chief of staff.

Jackie: Mm-hmm. Yeah. He deserved that promotion. He's got a lot of talent.

Nick: He's also half your age.

Jackie: Yes, he is young, isn't he? He's young and very fit. Oh, my God, you should see him with his shirt off. I am telling you--

Nick: P-p-p-please! C-- let's not forget that you're my mother. (Sighs)

Bridget: When Jackie planted that kiss on you at the beach house, I was a little shocked. I still can't believe you two are together.

Owen: Well, we, uh, we have fun together. You know, she likes to do this little thing that, uh-- look, she threatens me with my job, and--and I come running.

Bridget: Really? How does that make you feel?

Owen: Makes me feel good. I don't know why, but, uh, I kind of like it.

Bridget: Hmm.

Eric: The whole Bill Spencer thing is ridiculous. Devaluing this company completely so that someday in the future he can buy it at a bargain basement price. Give me at.

Donna: Eric, you have to calm down.

Eric: (Sighs)

Ridge: We should have seen this coming. Maybe not from Spencer, but with all the bad press, the sabotaged fashion show, the infighting within our company, it was only a matter of time before Forrester was compromised.

Donna: Just say it. Say it, Ridge. It's all of the Logans' fault.

Ridge: Listen, Donna, we've had setbacks. We've made mistakes. But getting rid of mother was the biggest one of all.

Bill: Looks good. Thank you.

Stephanie: Hello. Hi.

Bill: What's up?

Stephanie: I just had a very interesting conversation with my ex-husband.

Bill: Stephanie.

Stephanie: Mm-hmm?

Bill: Eric is not your friend. He's your enemy. But if somehow he's reached you, and you're here to implore me to stop my attack on his company, it ain't gonna happen.

Stephanie: No, I want you to publish the next edition of "The Logan Chronicles."

Bill: Good. Excellent.

Stephanie: I also have, um, I'm just about finished with my next blog, and I'm all set to do the next webcast.

Bill: You're still going to help me in my campaign to acquire Forrester?

Stephanie: Yes, although to be honest, I do have my own agenda.

Bill: Nothing comes for free. What's our alliance going to cost me?

Stephanie: Ah.

Bridget: So you have no problem sleeping your way to the top?

Owen: I like Jackie. And she digs me. We've got a very unique relationship.

Bridget: That's definitely one way to put it.

Owen: Look, Bridget, I earned my title here at Jackie M. Based on my hard work, not my other talents. Look, Jackie is an amazing woman. But the promotion was a fringe benefit.

Jackie: Oh, it is jammed. Owen fixed it for me the last time. I don't know what--

Nick: You look ridiculous with that thing on.

Jackie: Okay, what is the matter? I mean, you are so serious all the time. I know you're concerned about my involvement with Owen, but, darling, you don't need to be. I'm fine.

Nick: I'm a man, Mother. I know how men think. And I think he's using you.

Jackie: Well, I'm a grown woman.

Nick: Exactly. He's gonna want something. What if wants to--to have a kid or a family?

Jackie: (scoffs)

Nick: You're not gonna be able to give him that.

Jackie: (Chuckles) Yes, darling, I know that. We're just living for the moment, that all. And, boy, does it feel good.

Nick: It's just in these situations, someone always winds up getting the shaft somewhere along the line.

Jackie: Possibly. But for the first time in a very, very long time, I am happy, and it's a because of Owen. (Gasps), Oh it's working! Great. (Humming) (snapping fingers)

Donna: Getting rid of Stephanie was the best thing that Eric did for this company. She is blackmailing your father.

Ridge: What the hell are you talking about?

Donna: Tell him. Go ahead and tell him.

Eric: Your mother offered to pull the plug on this "Logan Chronicles" crap if I would guarantee her children a secure spot at Forrester creations now and in my will.

Donna: She wants all of the Logans out.

Eric: I turned her down.

Donna: I can only imagine what Stephanie is gonna do next.

Eric: Mm.

Bill: So what happened with Eric?

Stephanie: Well, I gave him the chance to do the right thing and he refused, so I'm here to double-check with you that your offer is still good.

Bill: We may be able to work something out. I'll bring Eric to his knees, buy the company at a great price and turn around and sell it for a profit.

Stephanie: To me. I want you to sell the company to me.

Bill: Do you have that kind of cash, Stephanie?

Stephanie: Money has never been a problem, even in these times. I'll tell you a little story. When my husband gave me the boot, so to speak, I thought, gosh, I've lost everything, you know? My family, my business, the company--just everything. And I lost is--in a way, my sense of self-worth. And then I thought, wait a minute. Along comes Nick Marone, offers me a partnership in Jackie M., and I think to myself, I have the brains and the expertise to take this company and turn it around. And he gave me a sense of myself again, which I will always be grateful for. It focused me. It really focused me. At I want to accomplish, what my agenda is, is to get control of Forrester again and put that control firmly in the hand of my children.

Jackie: Oh, my. Can I tell you something for e hundredth time-- how happy I am that you and Nick are back together again? Do you know how long I've waited for this reconciliation? Do I hear wedding bells?

Bridget: Oh, Jackie, please. Uh, we are taking our time after everything that's happened.

Jackie: Okay, but don't take too long. You know how much he loves you.

Bridget: Yes, and we're just going to be careful. We--we want to do everything right this time. No need to push. Your son is very, very, um, protective of me, and everyone else he cares about, too.

Jackie: Oh... (laughs) you're talking about me now and my involvement with Owen. I mean, I know he doesn't want me to get hurt, and I won't, and... (sighs) well, Nick will come around. I-I know he will.

Owen: Yeah, you wanted to see me?

Nick: Close the door.

Nick: I don't like what's going on between you and my mother.

Owen: I make her happy. Why does that bother you so much? You've got Bridget. I've got Jackie. And life is good, right?

Nick: This isn't my first rodeo, son. I know guys like you have a price tag. I'd like to know what yours is. I'd like to know what it's gonna co me to get you out of my mother's life.

Eric: Pam, I told you I did not want to be interrupted. No, just tell them that-- no, just tell them the check is in the mail. All right. (Sighs) Another vendor demanding money, an--and the banks are not making loans, and the economy has retail ruined, and yeah.

Ridge: The bad publicity isn't helping either. Dad, why can't you face it? This company is in trouble.

Donna: And the person pushing Forrester Creations over the edge is Stephanie.

Stephanie: Did your father ever tell you that it was my father that gave us the money to start Forrester Creations?

Bill: He did.

Stephanie: The idea being, of course, that I would, you know, put a-- run the financial end of the situation, and Eric would naturally be the creative genius behind it all. I consider Forrester Creations my children's legacy. It's their birthright. I cannot allow the company to collapse, and to be perfectly honest, I didn't realize that I might have a chance to wrest control of the company. But "The Logan Chronicles" has become such a hit. I mean, with you and-- and Spencer Publications on my side, I might just have a chance.

Bill: Does Eric have any sense of this at all?

Stephanie: How determined I am? No, I don't suppose he does.

Bill: My father always said he underestimated you.

Stephanie: Well, I guess it'll be his loss. I am determined to protect my children's legacy, and I think I can put the right resources together with a couple of the kids. We get control of the company, and we can push the Logans out.

Bill: Eric was a fool to think he could dump all over someone like you. Now he's going to learn his lesson.

Bill: Eric.

Eric: Yeah, what is it, Bill? What do you want?

Bill: You passed on my offer to buy Forrester for $100 million. But I'm a sport, so I'm gonna give you a second chance. $80 million, my new best offer.

Eric: Save your breath.

Bill: You might want to reconsider.

Eric: Forget it.

Bill: (Chuckles) Wait till you see the next installment of "The Logan Chronicles." I suggest that you make e deal, Eric, now.

Stephanie: Well, he's a stubborn man. Doesn't give up easily. I think we’re gonna have to ware him down. But I honestly think, that between the two of us, he, uh, won't really stand a chance.

Ridge: Spencer senses we're vulnerable. He's gonna keep coming after us.

Donna: Eric, I don’t want you to worry, okay? I'm here for you. And the Logans are going to help Forrester creations through this crisis.

Ridge: I'll be back.

Jackie: Another magnificent design. (Sighs)

Bridget: Thank you.

Jackie: (Laughs)

Bridget: Jackie...

Jackie: Mm-hmm?

Bridget: You must know that Nick doesn't trust Owen at all.

Jackie: But I do, and that's all that Nicky needs to know. Yeah, I mean, you know, he might put a bit of pressure on Owen, but well, then Owen will just have to defend our relationship. It's quite charming en you think about it.

Nick: What's your price?

Owen: Are you trying to bribe me? Look, I don't think you get it. I like your mother a lot.

Nick: The price.

Owen: I'm not going anywhere, Nick. And I’m gonna stay here as long as your mother wants me here.

Nick: Hey. I'll be watching you.

Owen: Go ahead, 'cause all you're gonna see is me making your mother extremely happy.

(Door closes)

Eric: (Sighing) Oh, God.

Donna: Can I get you something? Some tea with--with some honey?

Eric: No.

Donna: You know, this is all-- all Stephanie’s fault. If she really cared about this company, she would stop these nasty blogs and--and these webcasts. But she is-- she is trying to get revenge on my family, and she's hurting her own children instead.

Eric: Yeah, well, it's working.

Stephanie: Thank you

Man: Here you go.

Ridge: (Sighs)

Ridge: Okay. You got me here. What?

Stephanie: Thank you for coming. I need your help. I want to try and regain control of the company. I want to do it for you and Throne and Felicia.

Ridge: Is this the same company that you've be very successfully trashing on the internet?

Stephanie: I need your help. I think at your father has lost his way. This company is in complete chaos, and it's not because of me. Where's your new line? Where' s the new product? You're missing-- ing to miss a whole season. And all I hear from your father is, "Rick, my son, needs my help and my guidance," and that's the same thing that keeps coming out of-- out of Brooke’s mouth all the time. I see what it's doing to you.

Ridge: Mother, I'm not gonna have this conversation with you again.

Stephanie: Why not? Because you know it's true?

Ridge: How is it true? Tell me exactly what you're trying to say here.

Stephanie: I know you love your father, and I appreciate your loyalty to him, but he is driving this company right into the ground because he has a fantasy, a sweet fantasy, but a fantasy nonetheless-- both sets of his children are going to work side by side. You and Rick are going to work together. Yada yada yada yada.

Ridge: Yeah, well, we both know that's never gonna happen.

Stephanie: I know that, but he doesn’t. Donna and Rick and Brooke are leading him around by the nose. That's why we have to take the company back.

Ridge: Do I need to remind you that I am, in fact, married to a Logan? That my life revolves around and is committed to a Logan?

Stephanie: And how happy has she made you lately? All I hear from her is her defense of Rick ad nauseam.

Ridge: I'm not gonna talk about Rick either.

Stephanie: How can we not talk about him?

Ridge: Look, I'd like to strangle the guy as much as anyone, but when all is said and done, he's still Brooke’s son.

Stephanie: Yes, and she will always choose him over you. This is suffocating. I can see that. This is no way to lead your life-- making nice to a man who killed your daughter.

Ridge: (Sighs)

Stephanie: He wants you out of your mother's life, and until that happens, he's ever going to leave Steffy alone. This is all about you. This is all about his anger and his hatred for you.

Ridge: Then what the hell am I supposed to do then?

Stephanie: Get Brooke out of your life.

Ridge: (Sighs)

Stephanie: She isn't making it any better. I know you don't want to hear this, but Taylor is your lifeline.

Ridge: Oh, Mother.

Stephanie: You've got to walk away from Brooke and from Rick before they take everything away from you that you hold most dear. Don't you-- (sighs) I can see it in your face how unhappy you are. This is no way to live your life. Please listen to me. If you come with me, if we pool our resources, you and me and Thorne and Felicia-- we can get control of the company. I believe that. You have to do this, not just for yourself, but for your children and for their children. Honey, we have to push the Logans out of the company. That means that Brooke has to go. That's just the way it is. But I honestly think we can do this together.
