Donna: You would have done the same thing for me, little sis. I mean, not that I'd ever find myself passed out in Bill Spencerís hotel suite. Anyway, um, you know, Iím late for a meeting, so can I call you back? You'll let me know how it goes with Nick? Okay. I love you.

Bill: You said you want to thank me. So do.

(Cell phone rings)

Donna: Hello?

Bill: Now be honest. You were just thinking about me, weren't you? Because I was definitely thinking about you.

Donna: Who is this?

Bill: (Laughs) You know exactly who it is. Your sister Katieís knight in tarnished armor. I'll bet she's got a pretty mean hangover. She okay otherwise?

Donna: Yes, she is, uh, because of everything you did. I'm very appreciative, Mr. Spencer.

Bill: So I gathered, when you thanked me last night. That kiss--

Donna: Was an expression of gratitude, okay? Don't read more into it, Bill.

Stephanie: Excuse me, Bill.

Woman: Mrs. Forrester. Mrs. Forrester.

Bill: Uh, it's okay. Uh, listen, 'cuda, I'm gonna have to get back to you. Bye-bye.

Stephanie: Hello, Bill.

Bill: How are you?

Stephanie: Fine. You wouldn't, um, by any chance be trying to use me, would you?

Bill: Is that what your ex told you, Stephanie?

Eric: I want your entire legal team on this, Gloria. I'm not gonna let some schemer like Bill Spencer get his unscrupulous hands on my life's work. It's not gonna happen.

Nick: Katie, it's--it's me. Would you call me if you'd like to talk? Thanks.

Katie: Hey. Um, I know we're not engaged anymore, but I just thought that I should stop by and, uh, say that we should be friends, you know? We should shoot some hoops, because you really need some practice.

Nick: Your eyes are awful red.

Katie: Yeah, well, I was out late last night celebrating. (Sighs) Oh, celebrating, drowning my sorrows. What's the difference? Anyway, um, no regrets.

Katie: I-I truly believe that you should have a life with Bridget.

Katie: I know deep down inside she still loves you, and I'm sure you'll find a way to make her see that. You should fight for her, just like you always have. She's worth fighting for. Having a life with Bridget is definitely worth fighting for-- for you and for Jack.

Katie: (Sighs)

Gloria: I just wish we had some actual proof that he's out to get you.

Eric: What, proof? The man stood in my living room, and he told me what his intentions were. I mean, clearly he's planning a hostile takeover.

Gloria: Not in strict legal terms. Though, in many ways, it's even worse.

Donna: How so?

Gloria: Bill Spencerís trying to push your husband into bankruptcy or close to it so he can buy Forrester at a devalued price.

Eric: (Sighs) And he's using Stephanie to do it.

Stephanie: You trying to use me?

Bill: You got what you wanted-- an international platform to promote your new role at Jackie M., plus a venue to vent about all the wrongs done to you. I got an up-tick in magazine sales. It's a win-win.

Stephanie: Mm, I'm not so sure. I think you might have a different agenda than I do. I think you're trying to run down the value of Forrester so you can acquire it.

Bill: Come on now, Stephanie, don't go soft on me. You called the place a whorehouse. Now those are pretty strong words.

Stephanie: (Mouths words)

Bill: And I'm betting you still feel the same way about the Logans. Or am I wrong?

Bill: You asked me to provide you with an outlet so you could tell the world how you feel about the Logans.

Stephanie: Mm, but not necessarily to enable you to buy Forrester Creations.

Bill: I saw an undervalued asset. I realized that with every webcast, every article I published, I could devalue it even more.

Stephanie: So you want to buy it at a fraction of its value and then sell it?

Bill: Well, that is how these things are done.

Stephanie: Mm-hmm.

Bill: And besides, I mean, who--who knows? If you become a part owner of Jackie M., you may have enough cash to buy Forrester from me. You know what my motto is, Stephanie? "I'm not happy till you're not happy." Eric's not unhappy enough yet, but he will be, sooner than he realizes.

Eric: Bill Spencer. Bill Spencer! I can't believe what he's doing. I don't think his father was ever this ruthless.

Donna: Maybe he's not as bad as we think.

Eric: (Laughs) What?

Donna: Remember last night when I rushed off to help Katie?

Eric: (Sighs)

Donna: She was at Cafť Russe sloshed.

Eric: Yeah?

Donna: Uh, she'd just broken it off with Nick. And, you know, I-I guess she was trying to drown her sorrows.

Eric: Ahh. Well, that's too bad. Right--or what does that have to do with Bill?

Donna: Well, he found her at the bar. He took her back to her room, and he took care of her.

Eric: Yeah, right.

Donna: No, look, I wouldn't have believed it either, but last night I saw a different side of Bill Spencer, and it makes me think that maybe there is a shred of decency in him after all.

Katie: Oh, man. I am probably way too hung-over for this.

Nick: I believe Katie had a little too much to drink last night.

Katie: Not one of my better nights. Um, I'm sure you'll be happy to know that we are-- we're over. We're through. I've been trying for months to hold onto something that never really was mine. I've been trying to be the woman that he's in love with, but I can't be that woman, because I'm not you. And it's exhausting.

Katie: I know you'll never believe me, but I really am sorry. I really am.

Bridget: Well, I'm sorry, too. I should have done what Nick and I did last night a long time ago and put everything out on the table and just be honest with each other.

Katie: So you're-- you're back together again. That was-- that was fast.

Bridget: Katie, listen to me. Listen. (Sighs) I really do want...

Katie: (Sniffles)

Bridget: Everything to be okay.

Katie: I'm sorry, Bridget. Can you forgive me?

Bridget: (Whispers) Yeah. I already have. Come here.

Katie: (Sniffles)

Katie: (Sniffles)

Nick: Hey, sorry that took so long. After I walked Katie out, Clarke snagged me.

Bridget: No.

Nick: How are you doing?

Bridget: I'm just thinking about Katie. How touched she was when you told her that even though everything has changed, you still wanted her to be a part of Jack's life.

Nick: Well, yeah. Yeah, I hope that's okay with you.

Bridget: Of course it is. Where did Katie say she was going when she left?

Nick: She said she just had to touch base with her "good Samaritan," whatever that means.

Bill: My favorite hangover remedy. Guaranteed to cure what ails you.

Katie: Mm. Yeah, you know, I just wanted to apologize for my behavior last night. I, um, I don't really remember everything I said or did.

Bill: Oh, don't worry about it. It's not like I haven't been thrown up on before.

Katie: Oh, my God. Really? I am so sorry. I'm--and you're joking, and that's not funny.

Bill: (Chuckles)

Katie: That's not nice to do that to me.

Bill: Well, haven't you heard? I'm not a nice guy.

Eric: Just because he did not take advantage of your sister, that does not make him a gentleman. Do not be fooled by Bill Spencer.

Stephanie: Well, I'm not. Believe me. Spencer is trying to drive down the value of the company so he can buy it on the cheap.

Eric: I hope you told him to shut down that web site of yours.

Stephanie: Oh, Eric, it's not that simple. His company owns the underlying and subsidiary rights to "The Logan Chronicles," all the ones that are--are written and still unpublished.

Donna: No, this wouldn't have been a problem if you just kept your venom to yourself. But no, you had to-- you had to tar and feather my family in front of the world. But it didn't just hurt my sisters and me. I mean, your vindictiveness may cost Eric this company.

Stephanie: This company? The company that I worked all those years to make such a success? You're talking about this company? The one that I was booted out-- you know, throw out the old, bring in the young? I-I-is that the company you're referring to? I believe I can stop Bill Spencer if you want me to.

Donna: I knew you had something up your sleeves.

Stephanie: Actually, I just have one sleeve it's up. And it's a list of four conditions. They're quite simple. The first is, um, Ridge remains as C.E.O. Thorne becomes president.

Eric: The company has a president.

Stephanie: And three-- Rick is out. He's not allowed to work at Forrester Creations ever again in any capacity.

Eric: Rick is my son.

Stephanie: With Brooke. I want you to rewrite your will. That's the fourth condition. You may divide the profits, your share of the profits, amongst all of your children any way you choose, but 100% control of the company is to go to Ridge, Thorne and Felicia.

Stephanie: Those are my conditions. Take it or leave it.

Nick: You know what I'd like to do?

Bridget: Yes, I do, but-- mm, it is an office.

Nick: An office that has a door, a door that locks.

Bridget: What? Right here? Right now?

Nick: Why not? We spent a lot of months apart, haven't we? Don't you think we're due?

Bridget: I think there is something to be said about taking-- taking things slowly.

Nick: Well, after last night, it's a little late for that, don't you think?

Bridget: Mm. You know, Owen thinks that I should be put on a pedestal.

Nick: Excuse me? I'm kissing your neck, and you're bringing up Owen?

Bridget: Well, he also said that he-- he thought I should be courted.

Nick: So you want me to grovel?

Bridget: Maybe just a little bit.

Nick: Not much, huh?

Bridget: I mean, I don't know. Do you think I'm worth it?

Nick: You really want to know what I think? From me, you can have whatever you want whenever you want it.

Bridget: (Giggles)

Nick: Mm.

Bridget: Aah! (Laughs)

Bill: You still haven't partaken.

Katie: You know, it's amazing. I feel so much better.

Bill: (Laughs)

Katie: Besides, I have to take off.

Bill: Your P.R. job at Forrester Creations.

Katie: Yeah. I have a few fires to put out, thanks to "The Logan Chronicles." I'll have you know that I intend to devote all of my energy into combating this assault.

Bill: When you're not drinking yourself into a stupor over the man who broke your heart?

Katie: That was a one-time thing.

Bill: Good. I'm glad to hear it. Because there are much more pleasurable ways to recuperate, if you're interested.

Katie: (Chuckles) Hmm.

Katie: (Sighs)

Bill: Well, that's a waste of a good egg.

Eric: I want to be sure I have this straight. You help me out with Bill Spencer, and then you get to call all the shots at my company, is that right, even after I'm dead? What, are you crazy?

Stephanie: I take it that's a "no."

Eric: Y-you think?

Donna: How can you do this to Eric? (Door closes)

Donna: You know how much this company means to him.

Stephanie: I thought I did. (Sighs)

Donna: You know, this is so unfair. You--you blame the Logans for driving Forrester Creations into the ground, but you are the one destroying us, telling the world that we're on the brink of disaster, and we're not.

Stephanie: Honey, this company is in big trouble. Where's the new line? Where are the new products? Where is Forrester Creations? My family always delivered the goods. Your family, you girls, on the other hand, deliver nothing but trouble and scandal.

Donna: Are you-- are you crazy? I got the company back from Nick Marone. My sister made the Belief formula. Forrester owes her that. Not Thorne, not Felicia and not your precious little Ridge.

Stephanie: You're absolutely right. The Belief formula made millions of dollars, but that was a long time ago. The only thing that your sister delivers now is trouble, because she constantly supports her son, who is the worst thing that ever happened to this company.

Donna: My God, you-- you stand here as-- as some bastion of virtue, when you are the one destroying us. But don't you see? You're not hurting us. You're hurting your own family. Do you care? Do you? This isn't going to work, Stephanie. You know, the reality is your efforts to get rid of the evil Logans have failed. Brooke is married to Ridge. Eric is married to me. And Rick is the president of this company. You have created your own worst nightmare. We are the future, and you are not part of it. So you can take this list of demands and forget it.

Stephanie: That was silly.

Donna: I'm shakin' in my shoes.

Stephanie: Oh, a day of reckoning will come. Don't underestimate me.
