Jackie: Oh, Nicky. Nicky, you want Bridget back. That is--
Nick: How am I gonna make this happen?
Jackie: Well, you go to her. You tell her how you feel, and--
Nick: No, Mother this is not about how I feel. She’s moving on.
Jackie: Oh, no, she's not.
Nick: She is. She's at the beach house with Owen.
Jackie: (Scoffs) That's a huge mistake. It's a cry for help. She doesn't want Owen. She wants you. You-you've gotta get there. You've got to stop her before she gets in over her head.
Owen: Ooh. Ooh. Sorry it's so hot in here. I don't like to turn the air conditioning on.
Bridget: Oh, is it really hot?
Owen: Yeah, it's, uh, it's steaming hot.
Bridget: Is this getting any better?
Owen: No. Not really.
Katie: This tastes like jet fuel.
Man: It's exactly the same as your first two martinis. How about I make you a Shirley Temple instead?
Katie: No. It's delicious.
Katie: I'm gonna need another one of these. Keep 'em coming.
Bill: You haven't even finished that one yet.
Bill: Maybe you should have a glass of water instead.
Katie: It's funny. Water doesn't dull the pain quite the same way vodka does.
Bill: Mm. One of those nights, huh?
Katie: Yep. You know, I should be dead right now.
Bill: You're dead drunk. That's for sure.
Katie: You're good looking. You really are. Don't I know you from someplace?
Bill: I don't think so, but we could change that. I'm Bill. My friends call me "Dollar Bill."
Katie: Well, it's nice to meet you, Dollar Bill. I'm Katie. My friends call me "Home Wrecker."
Jackie: You are wasting time.
Nick: She's moving on, Mother. She gave me a letter of resignation today.
Jackie: What? Oh, God, I hope you refused to accept it.
Nick: She is running away from me as fast as she can, right into the beach boy's arms.
Jackie: (Scoffs) Well, you let her go. You said so yourself you should have stopped her. What are you gonna do about it?
Nick: I think you deserve better too, and I can give you that I will give you my very best if you give me one me chance.
Owen: Hey, are you still with me?
Bridget: Of course I am.
Owen: All right.
Bridget: Last time I was here, I had to walk away. But tonight is going to totally different.
Katie: So to make a long, long story short, she saved my life, invited me into her home, and I stole her husband.
Bill: I had a feeling you were my kind of girl.
Katie: I really should have never let that happen. (Chuckles) I should have walked away from him right from the very start. It would have saved us all a lot of trouble. But I couldn’t. Maybe I just didn't want to. Anyway, it's all over now.
Nick: We talked and got honest with each other. I know that she still loves me, Mother. I know that. And in the midst of all this, I kissed her.
Jackie: You kissed her?
Nick: (Sighs) That's why she wanted to resign. She doesn't want to be anywhere near me.
Jackie: Well, she doesn't want to be near you because she wants you so much.
Nick: I know I can make her happy.
Jackie: You can.
Nick: I know that I can be the kind of man that she wants.
Jackie: No, you already are.
Nick: But I have to rebuild the trust.
Jackie: You will. You will.
Nick: Let's go get her.
Bridget: Um, listen, um... (sighs) you know, since we're about to, um, you know, uh, I just feel like I should come clean about-- out something. I-I'm sort of, uh, well, I feel like I could-- I sort of might be getting back into that cycle.
Owen: What cycle? Is it the Nick cycle?
Bridget: Yeah, you know, um, the other night at the office, we were alone, and-- and he ki--he kissed me. I, um, I know. I mean, can you believe it? Can you believe? Just out of nowhere, he comes up and plants a kiss on me. I-- I really felt like I was progressing and getting really far as far as moving along and moving on and getting over all of that, and--and I want to. I am. I'm--I'm moving forward. And I'm moving forward with you I want-- I want to be with you. I ne--I need you.
Bridget: Oh, my God.
Owen: What? What?
Bridget: This just isn't me. (Chuckles) It's not me. I feel like--I mean-- (sighs) I mean, well, this could be me. I think I can do this. Maybe I just need, like, um, maybe I need a glass of wine or something.
Owen: Yeah. Yeah.
Owen: What do you need? What do you need me to do?
Bridget: I need-- I need you to sweep me off my feet, and I need you to make love to me.
Katie: Refill, handsome.
Man: (Chuckles) I'm gonna have to cut you off.
Katie: Oh, boo!
Katie: Hey, Bill?
Katie: I need you to do me a favor. Order uh, one more of these...
Katie: Double vodka on the rocks, and I'll pour it in my water glass. Pretty tricky.
Bill: How about I take you home instead? Tell me where you live.
Katie: Mm. That's a good question. I don't know. (Chuckles) I can't go back to where I was. I guess my sister's?
Bill: My keys are in my hotel suite downstairs. We'll have to stop by my room first.
Katie: Oh, your room. Minibar. Lead the way.
Bill: All--all right. I got you.
Bill: Here we go.
Nick: (Sighs) She doesn't want to be with him.
Jackie: Well, that's why we're driving out there.
Nick: Let's hope it's not too late. I mean, that's not Bridget. Bridget's not like that, is she?
Jackie: Well, except she is trying to get over you, and, well, Owen is incredibly good-looking and an unbelievable lover, and--
Nick: How would you know that?
Jackie: Uh... (sighs) I just--I don't know. I just assume, you know? He's--he's good-looking. And—
Bridget: (Sighs) Oh, my God. Oh, this is amazing. You feel so good. (Sighs) Oh. Oh, you--you-- you have too many clothes on. (Breathing heavily)
Bridget: Oh. (Sighs) I want you to kiss every inch of my body. (Sighs)
Bridget: (Sighs) Oh, wow.
Bridget: Oh, God, stop. Stop.
Owen: What? Is some-- is something wrong?
Bridget: No, I'm-- no, I mean-- no, don't stop. I mean do—I mean don't stop.
Owen: Listen to me. Listen to me.
Bridget: Don't stop.
Owen: Are you okay with this?
Bridget: Totally. I know that I-- I'm probably still getting over my ex, but I am here, and I'm willing, and I want you.
Owen: But this isn't how I want it to be for us.
Bridget: Owen, it's not like I'm asking you to do the dirty laundry.
Bill: Here we go.
Katie: Ooh, whoopsie.
Bill: You good?
Katie: Yep, I'm good.
Bill: All right.
Katie: And I will be en better when I find your minibar. You know, I used to have this drink in college called the mind eraser. I wish I could remember what was in that thing. I could really use one of those right about now.
Bill: Or a cup of coffee.
Katie: Oh, come on. I'm just getting started. Let's have fun. I haven't had fun in so long.
Bill: How about you stop talking?
Bill: I think you've done enough of that tonight.
Nick: Give me one more chance.
Bridget: I can't do this. I'm so sorry, but I can't do it.
Owen: All right. It's okay.
Bridget: I know it's not. I'm just-- I've been hung up on Nick, and I thought that I was over him, but I can't get him out of my head, and my goodness, you're so perfect. You're just-- look at you. You're everything I want, but I-I can't do this.
Owen: Well, the truth is, neither can I.
Bridget: Me blabbering on and on about Nick isn't turning you on?
Owen: No, it's just there's-- that there's somebody else in my life, as well.
Bridget: Really? Really, there is?
Owen: Yeah. Yeah.
Bridget: But-- but I thought you just seemed--
Owen: So into you?
Bridget: Well, I--
Owen: Yeah, I know. And then somebody else came along, and it’s a very, uh, very unexpected.
Bridget: Wow, I-- I wouldn't have guessed that.
Owen: Yeah, kind of threw me for a loop, too. It's a very, very unique kind of relationship.
Jackie: Okay, take the next left ahead.
Nick: Since when did you come a human G.P.S.?
Jackie: Well, no, I-it's a shortcut. It'll take us right behind Owen's place. He's my chief of staff, all right? I mean, I've had to go out there and get him to handle a few things.
Katie: I'm sorry I'm boring you with all my problems. I don't know when to shut up. Come here.
Katie: You seem like a nice guy. I bet a girl could fall in love with a guy like you.
Katie: Why are there two of you? (Moans)
Bill: Katie? Katie?
Bill: You all right? Hmm?
Bill: Katie. Katie, wake up.
Bridget: Wow, so you're really hung up on somebody.
Owen: Yeah, I guess I am.
Bridget: You’re kidding me. It's this hard to have meaningless sex?
Owen: Well, you can't say that we didn't give it a solid try.
Bridget: I just feel like such an idiot. I really, really, really want Nick out of my life. Why can't I let him go?
Bridget: Wh--wha-- what are you doing here?
Nick: I came to get you, but obviously I didn't make it in time.
Bridget: Oh, it's not-- it's not what you think. We--I-- nothing happened.
Bridget: Nothing happened. (Sighs) I couldn't stop thinking about you.
Nick: (Whispers) I want you. I will do whatever it takes.
Jackie: You and Bridget didn't--
Owen: No. She couldn't do it. And neither could I.
Jackie: Really? (Chuckles)
Jackie: (Moans) (Giggles)
Nick: Mother, what are you doing?
Jackie: Darling, you're not the only one who's found their way tonight. Right, handsome?
Owen: That's right.
Jackie: (Purrs) (giggles)
