Phoebe: I-I had doubts after sending it to you, but seeing you standing here and--and knowing how much my letter obviously means to you, I'm--I'm glad I did.
Rick: (Laughs nervously)
Donna: Oh, my God!
Donna: Green? My hair is green?
Raphael: Donna, I-I-I-I-I-I'm so, so sorry.
Donna: (Sobbing) What is happening to me?
Raphael: You got me, love.
Donna: (Crying) Oh, my God.
Brooke: (Sighs) You know, in all seriousness, I think that Donna's gonna be just fine. She always comes out on top. It's Bridget that I'm worried about. I know that you've been spending a lot of time over at Nick's, taking care of Jack, which I really appreciate. But I was just wondering if you've heard anything.
Katie: You know... (laughs) Jack is the sweetest baby. He is always happy. I mean, of course, except for when he's hungry.
Brooke: No... (laughs) Katie, you didn't really answer my question. I was asking about Nick and Bridget. Now I know Bridget still has feelings for Nick, but what about Nick? How does he feel about her?
Nick: (Exhales deeply)
Bridget: This feels so good.
Nick: Oh, my God.
Nick: (Exhales deeply)
Bridget: I know that we're supposed to take this really slowly, but-- (laughs)
Nick: Because we don't want anyone to get hurt here.
Bridget: Right, I know. I remember. I remember. I just--I think I'm getting a little ahead of that game plan.
Nick: Well, we do know this works.
Phoebe: I-I hope I didn't come on too strong. I mean, I realize you're probably still shocked I even wrote that letter. I mean, it's completely out of the blue. I-I was the one who ended things, and now I'm telling you that I love you, and--and I'm ready to prove that to you.
Taylor: Oh. What's going on here?
Phoebe: Mom, I-I thought you weren't gonna be here. I-I wanted the house to myself for the night. Rick and I have a special evening planned. Oh, I-I have to check on dinner before it burns. I'll be--I'll be right back.
Taylor: What's going on, Rick? What are you doing with my daughter?
Rick: Honestly, Taylor, I have no idea.
Donna: I-I can't believe this, Eric. I mean, what--what am I gonna do?
Eric: You know what? It's actually a very interesting look. We might be able to use this in our next collection.
Donna: Oh, stop it. Stop. I know you're just trying to make me feel better. But look at me. Look at me. I-I-I look like an oompa loompa.
Donna: (Sighs) (gasps) No! No! Eric, my teeth. My teeth. (Crying)
Pam: Steph, it's me, Pammy. Don't give up hope. I think Eric's about to see just how superficial his little hot tamale really is.
Brooke: Obviously, I have good cause to be worried. Bridget says that she doesn't have any expectations, that she's taking it really slow, but I know that she's head over heels in love with Nick. Now I want to know about Nick. You're over there with him all the time. So tell me, Katie. Come on, just tell me.
Katie: (Sighs) he loves Bridget. I just don't know if he loves her the way she loves him.
Brooke: Oh, God. How could he do this? I mean, how could he sleep with her when he knows how she feels about him?
Katie: It's not the best situation, granted, but he's being honest with her. He's assessing his feelings.
Brooke: Well, it's wrong. It's wrong, and you know it.
Katie: They're two consenting adults, Brooke. I think we should let them find their own way.
Brooke: Let them find their own way at Bridget's expense? She's spending a lot of time over there, isn't she?
Katie: Yeah, yeah, she's over there a lot, and she's happy. They're have a great time together.
Brooke: Hmm. Well, I'm sorry if I can't share your enthusiasm.
Katie: You know what I think this is all about? I think this is about you and your feelings for Nick and the fact that you can't stand to see him with any other woman but yourself. Is that about right?
Brooke: (Laughs) Oh, God, that is ridiculous, Katie. No, it's not about me.
Katie: Really? How is Ridge? When's the wedding?
Brooke: This is about my daughter. I am very concerned about her. You have no idea how much she could get hurt.
Katie: Look, I've had my doubts about Nick, but he's being honest with her, and that's all we can ask. We don't know what's gonna happen. I do know that Bridget has waited a long time to be back together with him. I'm sure she's making the most of the situation.
Nick: Um, we're-- we're okay...
Nick: With this, right, aren't we? Are we okay?
Bridget: Well, I'm okay. Are you okay? I mean, I'm--I'm more than okay.
Nick: Well, we just don't want to get too ahead of ourselves. That's what we talked about.
Bridget: Uh-huh, uh-huh. We talked about living in the now, living in the moment and living each moment to the fullest. Do you remember that? (Pager beeps)
Nick: Oh, it's your pager.
Bridget: Yeah, I don't care.
Nick: You're a doctor.
Bridget: Uh-huh. (Beeps)
Bridget: All right. Oh, oh, Nick, no! It's the hospital.
Bridget: Oh, and we had dinner plans and stuff.
Nick: Well, we're--we're living in the now, remember? And right now you have to go to the hospital. We'll have dinner another night, okay?
Bridget: Promise me.
Nick: You promise me.
Bridget: I do. (Laughs)
Taylor: You don't know you're here with Phoebe? I find that a little hard to believe.
Rick: I know, I know. It--just--you're--you're gonna have to trust me, all right? I'm completely and totally confused right now. I-I got this letter, and--and I thought you wrote it. Here. But Phoebe wrote it. And I thought you changed your mind. That's why I showed up here tonight.
Taylor: (Gasps) Oh, my God. Oh, my God. See? See, this proves it. This is why it would never work between us. I told you.
Rick: No, stop. I'm not gonna believe that. Look, we have something so special going here, and I know you feel it.
Taylor: Yes, yes, I do. You know what's ironic is I wrote you a letter, too. I wrote you a letter to tell you how I feel about you and to tell you why it couldn't work.
Rick: (Sighs heavily)
Taylor: And then she's written you this, and she gave it to you. It's very clear.
Taylor: Please. Phoebe is my daughter, and I love her. I don't want to hurt her. She's more age-appropriate for you anyway.
Rick: Are you kidding me? Are you gonna go there? What are you saying?
Taylor: I'm saying open your heart to Phoebe. She wants to be with you. She loves you. Now find a way to make it work, because I cannot be with you.
Donna: This can't be happening. I mean, my--my hair and my skin, my teeth-- all because I wanted to be beautiful for you on our wedding day.
Eric: And you will be. You will be. I promise. Look, everything's gonna be okay. It really is.
Donna: No, no, it's not gonna be okay. I mean, at--at this point, I'm gonna be the bride of Frankenstein. (Sighs) you know, this is not a coincidence. Somebody--somebody is sabotaging me. And I know exactly who it is.
Donna: Pam! Get in here now.
Rick: Taylor, listen to me. I don't love Phoebe. I love you. And even though you haven't said the words, I know you love me, too.
Taylor: I might love you. I might want you. I might desire you, but I can't be with you. I couldn't live with myself if I were to do that. She loves you. She wants to be with you. See, now it's impossible.
Rick: No, Taylor, look, lis-listen to me. Just listen to me. You just said it. You said that you love me, that you want a relationship with me.
Taylor: No, that isn't what I said.
Rick: No, you--you keep saying "no," because I understand. It's--it's--it's the right thing to do, right? It may be the decent thing to do. But it's not what you feel in here. You know damn well you can't choose, you can't help who you fall in love with. Be honest with me. You want me to stay here. You want me to--to take you into my arms, to make love to you. You want me as much as I want you.
Taylor: No, Rick.
Rick: Taylor, I'm telling you the truth here.
Phoebe: Hey, what's going on? Or do I even have to ask?
Katie: Sorry I'm late.
Nick: No, no, no problem.
Katie: I got caught up at the office-- this incident with Donna.
Nick: Everything okay?
Katie: Oh, yeah, yeah, nothing that won't work itself out eventually. Where's Bridget?
Nick: She got called away to the hospital.
Katie: Oh, that's too bad.
Katie: I know you guys were looking forward to having dinner tonight.
Nick: Yeah, yeah, we were.
Katie: It looks nice. You really went all out. (Sighs)
Nick: You hungry?
Katie: Um, sure. Yeah, I could eat.
Nick: Dinner is served. (Laughing) My family really keeps me on the go.
Pam: I really don't appreciate being treated like your personal servant, Donna.
Donna: Oh, save it, lady. You know exactly why you were called in here.
Pam: What happened to your teeth?
Eric: Pam, Donna is upset. Look what's been happening to her.
Donna: This isn't an accident. Somebody is doing this to me.
Pam: And you think that I--
Donna: Yeah, yeah, that's exactly what I think.
Pam: I, uh--
Donna: Yeah, yeah, you did this. You are responsible for all of this.
Pam: Look, Donna, I'm really sorry about your problems. I am. But if you think I had anything to do with this... (laughs) you're barking up the wrong cupcake.
Donna: Mm-hmm. You can sugarcoat your crazy self to Eric, but I know the truth. You did this, Pam. You did this.
Brooke: Hey, Stormy. What's up?
Storm: Well, you already know that I've been working on the belief fragrance project. So I-I guess that's about it.
Brooke: Yeah, there's still a few legal issues that need to be resolved, right?
Storm: Yeah, yeah, that's true, that's true. But I think it'll all come together soon.
Brooke: (Sighs) Well, with my brother spearheading it, I'm sure it will be just perfect.
Storm: A sister's confidence--can't beat it.
Storm: So everything okay with you?
Brooke: Well, I can't complain.
Storm: Yeah, you sure about that?
Brooke: Well, it is one of the most complicated times of my life.
Storm: Yeah, I'm sorry. I know I had a lot to do with that.
Brooke: My brother shooting my fiancÚ's mother didn't really help.
Storm: Oh. I know Ridge isn't too keen on keeping me out of jail either, is he?
Brooke: Sometimes I think you might be better off if you went to Europe.
Storm: Oh, come on, Brooke. Let's not start this again. I need my family. You guys are everything to me. There's no sacrifice I wouldn't make for my sisters. You know that. I just--I'm sorry. I can't go anywhere.
Brooke: Hmm. That makes me think about Bridget...
Brooke: Everything she's going through with Nick. It just really worries me. I don't want her to get in over her head.
Storm: I know. I know, I know. I hear ya. But she's gonna do what she's gonna do. It's not the first time she's been in love with Nick. If it falls apart this time, you'll be there to pick up the pieces. That's about all you can do, really.
Brooke: Just like you've always been there for us, right, Stormy?
Storm: (Laughs) Yeah, only this time it was you. It was my sisters who came to my rescue. Sometimes I feel like I'm about the luckiest guy in the world.
Brooke: You can still say that after everything's that's happened?
Storm: Yeah, of course. I've got my freedom. I've got a second chance. There's not much more you can ask for after that. I mean, unless, of course, you know, you want to throw a little romance my way. Then, of course, I'll take that.
Brooke: (Laughs) Romance, huh?
Storm: Yeah, you know, I don't know. I think I'm about ready to have another nice girl in my life.
Brooke: Well, I'm sure the perfect woman will be coming your way.
Storm: Yeah, you got a little crystal ball at home, do ya?
Brooke: Just women's intuition.
Storm: Good. Well, if you do set me up with somebody, make sure she's pretty special, will ya? You know, somebody with a good personality, all that kind of stuff.
Brooke: Oh, yeah, yes, of course. Nothing but the best, because that's what you've given us all these years-- the best. You are the best big brother three little sisters could ever have. It's true. Our lives wouldn't have been the same without you, Storm. They would have been empty and lonely and-- I mean, we are the women we are today because of you.
Brooke: So don't ever forget how much we love you.
Katie: This is really good. I'm impressed, sailor. I was expecting a bucket of chicken and some beer.
Nick: You've been talking to your sister, haven't you?
Katie: Mm-hmm, you're right, I have been. So how are things with Bridget?
Nick: Interesting segue.
Katie: I'm an interested party.
Nick: I have a lot of questions. My history with Bridget, my history with Brooke-- I don't want to jump into anything. And there are a lot of other women in the world.
Katie: Hmm. Yeah, yeah, you're--you know, you're absolutely right. You're right about that. There is so many other women in the world, so many choices-- blondes, brunettes, redheads. I think maybe it might be good for you to date someone who's not a Logan.
Nick: That's not what I'm talking about.
Katie: Well, you're through with Brooke. You're not sure about Bridget. So--
Nick: Brooke and Bridget aren't the only Logan women, Katie.
Katie: I'm gonna go check on Jack.
Nick: Jack's fine.
Katie: I think I heard him fussing. Okay, what's going on? What's going on in that head of yours?
Nick: Completely and total unacceptable thoughts of you. How does that grab ya?
Phoebe: I can sense what these looks are about. You don't have to tell me.
Taylor: What do you mean, sweetheart?
Phoebe: Well, you're worried I've come on to Rick this way. You don't like it.
Taylor: No, no, I-I'm not upset. It's, um, I do-- well, he explained a little bit about how you wanted to have an evening with him, and I-it just kind of caught me off guard. I think it caught Rick off guard. So, um, I-I have to go do some errands. So why don't you two work things out. (Thunder rumbles)
Taylor: And I'm gonna grab my umbrella, because it's raining, okay?
Phoebe: (Laughs) I-I don--I don't know what to say, Rick. I mean, you were the first guy I ever kissed. You're the first man I ever fell in love with. And I can see now looking back on it all, I mean, it was such a crazy time. It had a real effect on me. I was--I was confused, but I'm a little older now, a little wiser. I've dated some other guys, but all I can think about is you. I want to see if we can make this work. I-I want--I want to give us another chance. Tell me you still want that. Please tell me that.
Taylor: Okay, I'm on my way. I'll see you later, Phoebe. Good-bye, Rick.
Rick: Uh, Taylor, hang on. Just-- can you give me one second? Hang on. Um, it's raining, so I-I-I-I should really escort you to the--to the car.
Taylor: Thank you. That's very sweet of you.
Rick: Uh, we'll be right back.
Rick: Taylor, Taylor, just wait a second. Don't say good-bye. That's not what you want.
Taylor: It doesn't matter what I want. It matters what Phoebe wants. And what she wants is to be with you. Now I am leaving, and I want you to go back in and have the dinner with Phoebe and move on with her. I mean it, Rick. If you love me. If you care anything about me, don't say anything to her about us. Please, not one word. Please, Rick, do this one last thing for me, and move on with Phoebe. Forget about me. Forget about m--
Rick: Taylor, I just-- I cannot forget about you. I am in love with you. I can't imagine my life without you in it. I'm not gonna let you go.
