Donna: Plus, you and your mother get to retain ownership of Jackie M. It's a win-win situation for everyone.

Nick: Let's get something straight, everybody! I don't give a damn about this company. In fact, I'd rather run it into the ground than sell it back to Stephanie Forrester.

Eric: No, no. Wait a minute. I made that clear to you. I thought I did. This will be my company, and mine alone. Stephanie has no partnership here.

Jackie: Are you seriously considering divorcing your wife?

Donna: Can you blame him after the abuse he's put up with?

Eric: This isn't about her. It's not about her. Now this is an opportunity for both of us, if you can get past your hatred for Stephanie.

Jackie: He has a point. This could turn out better than we imagined.

Nick: All right, Eric. You want to buy Forrester Creations back, you be my guest on one condition. You end your marriage to Stephanie. She can never, ever be part of this company again. That's my offer. Spend some time and think about it. Just make sure you get back to me by tonight.

Ashley: It's looking more and more like this is the date that's going to work. What do you think?

Ridge: It's only a month away.

Ashley: I know. Is that too soon?

Ridge: To design for my beautiful bride the most amazing wedding gown the world's ever seen? Nah, I can do it.

Ashley: I knew you could. Mm.

Ridge: Hey, Logan, all dressed for the great outdoors. Where's the little camper?

Brooke: Oh, he's showing molly his new backpack.

Ashley: Ridge told me about the class retreat and how all the parents are using your big bear cabin as command central. It sounds like a lot of fun.

Ridge: Hey, before R.J. gets in here, there's something I want you to know. I told Ashley about what happened with Andy.

Brooke: Ridge, I asked you not to do that.

Ridge: I know. I know, but I had to. Me going off all hours with you-- it was causing us a lot of tension.

Ashley: And--and now that I know, I'm just--I'm happy that Ridge was there for you. And what happened to you was awful. I'm so sorry. I-I'm just really sorry.

R.J.: Look what Molly gave me.

Ridge: Cool. What are you gonna do with that?

R.J.: I can blow it if I get lost.

Ridge: Oh, well, I don't think anybody's gonna be getting lost, because Mommy's gonna be taking extra-special care of you in Big Bear.

R.J.: Why can't you come, too?

Brooke: Oh, honey, we talked about that. I'm gonna go with you this time, and it's Daddy's turn next year.

Ridge: So, sport, I bought you something for camping, but I left it in my car. I'll race you to the elevator!

Brooke: Oh, gosh, hurry!

Ashley: Ohh...

Ridge: I'll race you. You better run!

Ashley: Look at him go. (Laughs) so is Hope going, too?

Brooke: No, this is just for R.J.'s class. Hope is staying with Aly and Thorne.

Ashley: Well, he sure is one excited little boy.

Brooke: (Sighs) yeah. He'd be a lot more excited if his father was joining us.

Jackie: It's all or nothing then. Either Eric divorces Stephanie, or we retain Forrester Creations while taking on more and more debt just to stay afloat.

Nick: Mother, it's-- we're not in dire straits. I can turn this around if I have to.

Jackie: Oh, I don't doubt that for a second. But can we please just be honest here for a second, Nicky? Your passion--it's the sea. It's not hemlines. I mean, why waste months, maybe even years, trying to salvage the company, make it stay afloat when Eric is here? He's ready to step in and salvage it now. Plus, there could be fringe benefits.

Nick: Fringe benefits?

Jackie: Well, yeah. I mean, Eric's a brilliant designer. He's a professional.

Nick: Oh, my God! Mother, don't tell me that you're still interested in Eric Forrester.

Eric: (Laughs)

Donna: (Laughs)

Eric: I cannot believe it! Nick is actually considering my offer, and I owe it all to you. You were fantastic.

Donna: (Laughs)

Eric: You were stunning. You were wonderful.

Donna: I was, wasn't I? (Laughs coyly)

Eric: Yes, you were. If I get this company back, it'll all--because of you.

Donna: You will get it back, Eric. The company is as good as yours.

Eric: (Sighs) yeah... maybe.

Donna: What do you mean?

Eric: Donna, you told Nick that my marriage to Stephanie is over. Now that's--that's a big leap. You don't know that. I don't know that. I-I-I admit, uh, it may seem like I'm not married, the way I've been acting, but, uh, I am still married to Stephanie. Oh, my God. Am I just being some old fool to think this might actually happen?

Donna: You are not old, and you are definitely nobody's fool. You are one of the smartest, most talented men I know of any age, not to mention the sexiest.

Eric: Hmm.

Donna: (Laughs) yes, you've been married to Stephanie forever, and yes, she's given you children and a home, but--but at what cost to you, Eric? I mean, you sacrificed your company for her, and you've stood up for her time and time again, and for what? Can you honestly say, in spite of all that, you can't imagine a life without Stephanie? You have a whole new life waiting for you, if you just let the woman go.

Ashley: Is it really necessary that both parents come along? I mean, it is an overnight sleepover, and Ridge is fighting a deadline, right? But that's not really the issue, is it? I mean, you want Ridge there as much for yourself as you do for R.J.

Brooke: It's really no secret how I feel about Ridge, but then we all have secrets, don't we, Ashley? Even you.

Ashley: Um, okay, what's that supposed to mean?

Brooke: It just kind of amazes me how Ridge overlooks things when it comes to you, like, say, sleeping with my son, and how he managed to get past that one is beyond me, if he really has.

Brooke: You had an affair with my son in Paris, which you hid from everybody the moment you arrived here in L.A. and then, of course, you had this little tryst with him in Mexico, and that's a lot for a man to forgive.

Ashley: Let's not do this. (Clears throat) Do I wish I told ridge the truth about Rick and me from the very beginning? Yes. Am I sorry that Phoebe got hurt because I didn't? Absolutely. But that's the whole point, Brooke. Ridge and I don't want any secrets from each other, which is why he told me about what happened to you. And by the way, I will never tell anyone. I completely respect your privacy. And sincerely, I'm very sorry for what happened to you, and although I sympathize, I think we need to be clear about something. (Sighs) Ridge and I are getting married. I mean, we're-- we're planning our wedding. We're planning a future together, and you can't keep running to him every time you need help or support with something. Do you understand that? It's not fair, Brooke! It's not, not to anyone.

Brooke: I see. So you're putting me on notice, is that it?

(Door opens)

Ridge: Here we go.

Brooke: Hi!

R.J.: Mommy, look, Daddy bought me a flashlight that doesn't need batteries.

Brooke: (Gasps) Oh, wow! It doesn't need batteries?

Ridge: It's got a, uh, magnet inside of a wire coil, and it creates electrical energy. You know, it's the latest greatest.

Ashley: W, can I see, too?

Brooke: Well, it's getting late, so you know what? We'd better get going. Why don't you say bye to Daddy, sweetie?

R.J.: Bye, Dad. Thanks for--

Ridge: Bye, big boy. You have fun on your camping trip with your mommy.

Brooke: Okay, bye. See you.

Ridge: Bye.

Ashley: Bye, R.J. Bye, Brooke.

Ridge: Okay, you want to tell me what I just walked in on? You and Brooke? (Hisses) Why do I get the feeling that, uh, you were kind of telling her how it is?

Ashley: I don't know. Maybe because I was.

Ridge: (Sighs)

Nick: Mother, answer my question. Are you still interested in Eric Forrester?

Jackie: (Sighs) oh, Nicky, you know I've never really gotten over Eric.

Nick: Even after all the times he's disappointed you and gone back to that ball and chain that he calls a wife?

Jackie: But if he accepts your condition, that means he's finally going to be free to be with a woman who shares his-- his extremely diverse interests in fashion and other things.

Nick: Let's not get ahead of ourselves. If she resurfaces, she's gonna go right back to Eric, and if history repeats itself, he's gonna take her back.

Jackie: But if he doesn't-- if he does divorce her-- who else is he gonna turn to but me? Oh, Nicky, we shared such an intimate connection once, and we could again. Besides, there's no other woman in Eric's life.

Donna: I'm sorry. Maybe I've said too much, but just seeing you walk through Forrester Creations today and seeing your face just light up thinking about the possibilities... and now is your time. It's your chance to get your company back, and all you have to do is tell Nick you're ending your marriage, and creations is yours. And it seems like a no-brainer-- divorcing a manipulating, domineering wife to regain a company that is and always will be your heart and soul... unless, of course, you-- you still have some shred of love for Stephanie.

Eric: (Sighs)

Donna: Is that it? I mean, after everything she's done, you can't imagine a life without Stephanie, no matter how hard you try? . (Owl hooting)

Woman: Hey.

Brooke: Hi. How's it coming?

Woman: Well, the tents are all set up, and Oliver's dad is building a fire.

Woman: The kids can't wait to toast marshmallows and tell ghost stories.

Brooke: Oh, great.

Woman: Yeah, the only problem-- the Snyders' tent has a big rip in it, which Betsy and Clay till they unpacked it.

Woman: So we're kind of short on tent space.

R.J.: Mommy, guess what? Mr. Minnis is letting us guys sleep in their tent.

Mr. Minnis: "Us guys," meaning my son Matthew and their best bud Charlie.

R.J.: It's okay, right?

Brooke: Yes, of course. Are you sure?

Mr. Minnis: Absolutely.

Woman: We're still down one tent, though.

Brooke: Oh, okay. You know what? I'll just sleep in the cabin, and the Snyders can use our tent, and if R.J. gets scared, then you know what, honey? I'll just put my sleeping bag out right here, and I'll keep the door unlocked. And if you need me, you know where to find me, okay?

R.J.: Thanks, Mommy.

Brooke: Oh, you're welcome, honey. I love you.

R.J.: (Laughs)

Eric: So the question is, do I still love my wife?

Donna: That's the only reason why I can think of why you're not jumping all over nick's offer. If your wife walked in that door right now and pled her case, would you let her back into your life? Because you know that's what she would want. And I-I don't see what you get from that woman anyway besides constant insults honestly see yourself spending the rest of your days in this house with a woman who is as cold and impervious as the polar ice caps? Is that who you want to spend the rest of your life, your bed?

Eric: (Sighs) Donna, she is, uh-- she is manipulative, and she's controlling. And, uh, she is, uh-- she's trouble for everybody who knows her. And she's--she's careless with her conniving and--and--and dangerous. I mean, what she's done to Brooke-- I don't think I'll ever forgive her for that, but she's still my wife.

Donna: But not for long, right?

(Telephone rings)

Eric: W-- (rings)

Eric: Yes? Hello.

Nick: You've had some time to think. Do we have a deal, or not?

Eric: I'll be right over.

Donna: Was that nick?

Eric: Yes.

Donna: So have you made your decision? Are you gonna divorce Stephanie? Get back your company? Oh, please, Eric, please tell me that's what you intend to do.

Ashley: You know, you could always call and see how he's doing. You're thinking about R.J., aren't you?

Ridge: Oh, I can't help feeling like I let him down.

Ashley: Oh, honey, you didn't do that. You never would. There's gonna be lots of other times and lots of opportunities. There's gonna be times when it's just you and me and Abby and R.J. and Hope, and then times when it's you and Brooke and R.J. and Hope. And there's gonna be lots of other opportunities. It'll be fine.

Ridge: I know. To be honest, I am still concerned about Brooke. Yes, she's seeing a therapist right now, but she's still got a lot to work through. I guess I'm just concerned that she may be trying to do too much too soon.

(Door opens)

Brooke: Is that you, sweetie? Why don't you come on over and cuddle with Mommy? We all get scared sometimes.

Andy: Now what's there to be scared of, Brooke?

Brooke: (Gasps)

Andy: (Laughs menacingly) Certainly not me.

Brooke: No. No. (Panting) (Gasps)

Andy: (Laughs)

Brooke: Oh, my God!

Andy: (Whistles)

Brooke: You're dead.

Andy: (Laughs)

Brooke: You were electrocuted! (Panting) (Gasps)

Andy: Or so they thought. (Singsong voice) but I'm back. (Laughs) (Normal voice) and I'm ready for some more.

Brooke: No, just stay away. Do you hear me? Stay away!

Andy: (Laughing)

Brooke: (Gasps)

Andy: What, are you gonna scream? Knock yourself out.

Brooke: Aah!

Andy: (Laughing) (Laugh echoing)

Brooke: (Gasps) (Panting) Oh, God. Oh, God. Oh. Oh, God. (Whimpers) Oh. (Sobbing) Oh, God. Oh. (Voice breaks)
