Rick: Hey.

Bridget: Hi.

Rick: You didn't sleep last night?

Bridget: No, I tried but I can't stop thinking. I just wonder if there was one moment when I realized I was about to make a mistake.

Rick: Bridget, you don't even know if there was a mistake made. And even if there was, it's not your mistake.

Bridget: But it is, Rick. It was my idea that Mom's eggs be used for research.

Rick: And maybe that's exactly what happened to them.

Bridget: That's the problem. There's no way to know exactly what happened to those eggs. Oh my God. What if I'm right? What if the wrong eggs were fertilized? Do you realize Taylor could be carrying Mom and Nick's baby? My God, what have I done?

[Phone rings] Hello.

Taylor: Bridget, it's Taylor. Um, listen. About our appointment today, I was wondering if we could make it a little bit later because Nick really wants to be there, and he has to clear his schedule. Do you think that would work out?

Bridget: Yes. Yeah, I think Nick should be there. So I'll see you then.

Rick: You're really determined to tell them, aren't you?

Bridget: I think they deserve to know what's going on. Yes.

Rick: Bridget, you don't know what's going on.

Bridget: If Mom's DNA is inside of that baby, Rick, then I think Taylor and Nick need to know about it.

Rick: Then don't you think that Mom deserves to know too.

Constantine: Good morning.

Phoebe: Good morning. Morning? I slept here all night?

Constantine: I didn't have the heart to wake you. Was that a mistake?

Phoebe: No, it's not your fault. My mom just must be freaking out.

Constantine: No. I sent her a text message from your phone. Told her you were staying at a friend's.

Phoebe: Thank you. Thank you. Can I just say how amazing you've been?

Constantine: Only if I can shoot the compliment right back at you.

Phoebe: Amazingly crazy.

Constantine: Your life is a little complicated, definitely? But uh -- you're not crazy. You're great, Phoebe. And you're just the girl I've been looking for.

Phoebe: You said that before. The first time we met.

Constantine: I know. And I was right.

Taylor: Don't worry. Bridget said it'll be fine. You can just meet me up there later this afternoon. Okay. I'll see you then.

[Doorbell rings] Bye, sweetie. I love you too.

Stephanie: Oh, good morning. I was, I wasn't sure I'd catch you before Henry went to the office.

Taylor: No, well I haven't been feeling like going in, you know.

Stephanie: Morning sickness still hanging on?

Taylor: Don't worry Stephanie, I have not been kept from researching the --

Stephanie: Look, that's not the only reason that I want to talk to you.

Taylor: Well, it is as far as I'm concerned because I don't have anything to talk to you about. I have been researching some techniques, and I did find some very promising ones. That like I told you, there's no guarantee that we're going to get Rick to remember that he even shot Grant Chambers. And then again, even if he does, there's no guarantee that there's going to be any bearing on Ridge's case.

Stephanie: Well, of course, it has a bearing. The district attorney's office filed a first-degree murder charge because of the previous violent offense, which Ridge didn't commit.

Taylor: Oh, I know. It was Rick's fault. I know, and then Ridge just, you know, threw that chain around Shane's body and threw him in the bay. And that had absolutely no -- no bearing on why the D.A. wanted to even pursue this.

Stephanie: Of course, it had a bearing on it. And of course, it is not Rick's fault. This is a tragic situation that's cost a young man his life. Ridge made a terrible mistake and I compounded it, okay? I accept my responsibility. I'm sorry.

Taylor: Is this the part where you expect me to forgive and forget? Just move on and forget all the ways you've betrayed me? Stephanie, I really, I don't think you understand how much you've hurt me. Do you even care that my baby might grow up without a father? I mean, there are some mistakes that you just can't go back and undo.

Bridget: Oh, thanks Rick, but I'm not really hungry. I -- feel like I need a time machine, not a big plate of French toast.

Rick: Bridget, I think that you need to start looking at the big picture here. I mean, if there was, in fact, a mix-up in the lab then Taylor and Nick are not the only ones that are going to be affected by that. [Knock at the door] Come in, it's open.

Brooke: Hey.

Rick: Hey.

Brooke: I hope it's not too early.

Rick: No, you're right on time.

Bridget: Hey Mom.

Brooke: Hey, how are you, Bridget? I thought you'd be at the hospital.

Bridget: Um, actually I should be.

Brooke: You work so hard. Don't you ever get a break?

Bridget: Not lately. Not really.

Brooke: You know what, you obviously need one. I hate to say this, but you're not looking so well, honey.

Bridget: I'm fine, Mom. I'm fine.

Brooke: Okay, what is it? What's going on?

Rick: Yeah Bridget. What is going on? Why don't you tell Mom what's up?

Constantine: When all is said and done, you are the moon and sun. My world is darker when you're gone. So baby, shine. Shine on all my life. All my --

Phoebe: New song? Well can I hear it?

Constantine: Uh -- the lyrics are there, but the music, I still need to tinker with a little bit.

[Phone vibrating]

Phoebe: Oh, sorry.

Constantine: Cool.

Phoebe: Messages. It's just my mom. She has another appointment at the hospital.

Constantine: She's not worried about you?

Phoebe: Uh, no. Thanks to you. That's all.

Constantine: Nothing from Rick?

Phoebe: Not this morning or last night. You know what, maybe um, he called the house and my mom would have told him that I'm at a friend's house.

Constantine: And you are. All right. So what do you say, we get in there and we give those pipes of yours a workout?

Stephanie: I should have apologized the other day. I -- I was just upset.

Taylor: No. You were too busy being right.

Stephanie: Am I not right to be concerned about my son? Who happens to be the father of your children.

Taylor: Listen, I am doing everything I can to help Ridge. All right? Which is a lot more than you did to help Nick.

Stephanie: You know, you should understand this better than anyone. Being a doctor. The idea of complete, total panic.

Taylor: Don't even go there, Stephanie. This is about you and what you did. You convinced Ridge to not go forward. Weren't you the one who put him on a plane to Paris?

Stephanie: Well, how far would you go to protect Thomas and both of your girls?

Taylor: I'm pretty sure that I wouldn't frame an innocent person for murder.

Stephanie: That's easy to say, Taylor. We never know what we're going to do in the moment. And do I not remember that you were prepared to sacrifice your life in order to bring those little twin girls into this world?

Taylor: That's exactly my point. My life! Not another person's life. You really ought to quit talking because you keep sticking your foot in your mouth.

Stephanie: You're right. There's really nothing more I can say in my own defense. But let me give you a little warning. I understand Brooke wants to go back to work at Forrester Creations. Don't let her do that. If this marriage means as much to you as it seems to -- you keep her away from your precious husband.

Brooke: Are you two fighting?

Rick: No.

Bridget: No.

Rick: We just -- we're having a difference in opinion, that's all.

Brooke: About what? Look, I know this may sound trivial, but I really want to know what's going on in your lives. I don't want to be strangers. So why don't you let me stay for breakfast? I'll help you, I'll mix up those eggs.

Rick: Oh, I think Bridget already has.

Brooke: Well, I have some good news. Nick wants to give me my baby back.

Bridget: What?

Rick: Huh?

Brooke: He wants me to come back and work at Forrester Creations and re-launch "Brooke's Bedroom."

Rick: You mean, you want to compete with Forrester Originals?

Brooke: Would that bother you?

Rick: Only if you beat us.

Bridget: Are you crazy, Rick? Mom can't go work for Nick! Mom, Nick is married to Taylor and they're having a baby. You don't want to be a part of that! Carol, are you there?

Taylor: I'm not worried about Brooke.

Stephanie: Well that's because you're assuming that Nick loves you as much as you love him.

Taylor: That's not an assumption.

Stephanie: It's a view without a proof.

Taylor: I have proof.

Stephanie: The family you're planning? The ring he gave you? There isn't anything that he's given you that Brooke can't take away from you.

Taylor: Well, she can't take away my child, now can she?

Stephanie: She can take away the father. Why are you being so naive?

Taylor: No, the only time I was naive was when I trusted you. But I've learned a lot from that. I'm not naive anymore.

Stephanie: Do you honestly believe that she has any intention of keeping her relationship with Nick, strictly professional? Didn't you learn anything after this Sydney thing? Did she not come barging into your home? Barged right into your bedroom and jumped on him.

Taylor: Stephanie, Stephanie. I'm going to get sick.

Stephanie: If you think you're ill now, you have no idea the anguish that you're going to suffer if you let that woman back into that corporation, and into your marriage.

Taylor: Stephanie, would you please just stop? Brooke is not a factor in my relationship to Nick. Not one little bit!

Brooke: Honey, I don't think Taylor's pregnancy is any reason for me to reject Nick's offer.

Rick: Yeah, what's the baby got to do with it?

Brooke: If anything, it's given Taylor more confidence to accept me working with Nick.

Bridget: Oh mother, come on. That's no reason you should take it either.

Brooke: Well I'm considering it.

Bridget: Why? Why would you put yourself in the middle of that?

Brooke: And why wouldn't I? If Nick's okay with it, and Taylor's okay with it.

Rick: Whoa, whoa. She is?

Brooke: Yes. I've assured her that she has nothing to worry about with me. She doesn't need to be threatened by me at all.

Rick: Fudge.

Bridget: Oh, right, yeah. I have to get to the hospital. I have a really important meeting.

Rick: No, no, no. Are you sure there's nothing else that you want to say to Mom before you take off?

Bridget: Um -- yeah. Mom, I love you.

Brooke: I love you too, honey.

[Phoebe singing]

Phoebe: Last night I woke up from the sweetest dream. Black and white romantic silver streets. The greatest love story ever told. Kiss me as the credits rolled and it's not a dream. You're right here with me. Oh you, make me feel like the only one. Like my life has just begun. Like a story just got good and it's never ending. You, like the morning lifts the sun. I'm alive to love someone. What we've got will go on and on. Never ending.

Constantine: Great. That was great.

Phoebe: Are you sure it was okay? I don't --

Constantine: What, are you kidding me? Come on. I've worked with a million singers that have a lot more experience than you. That are like ten years older, and you're much better than all of them.

Phoebe: I -- I just still feel like I sound better when Rick's singing with me.

Constantine: I'd love to hear him. But obviously, this is more important to you than it is to him.

Phoebe: What's important to me is important to him, Constantine.

Constantine: I hope so. For his sake. And for yours.

[Bridget remembering]

Bridget: If my mother's eggs were in the lab, the same time that Taylor's donor's eggs were fertilized and they were labeled under the same name -- oh, dear God. Are you telling me that I might have implanted Taylor with my mother's eggs?

Taylor: Thank you so much Nancy. Nick and I are so excited.

Nancy: Well you make sure and bring that little miracle in here after he or she is born. Remind us what we're doing this for.

Taylor: I will. I will. Bridget, hi.

Bridget: Hey.

Taylor: Lab work.

Bridget: Oh thanks, great. Go ahead. Yeah, sit down.

Taylor: All righty. You okay? Look a little tense.

Bridget: Taylor, um -- there's something you need to know.

Constantine: So, when you're recording, you want to move in close. Not too close. Okay? Kind of like you're having an intimate conversation with someone in the corner of the room. And it's just the two of you.

Phoebe: Me and the mic?

Constantine: Yeah.

Phoebe: Okay.

Constantine: Okay, so uh -- don't feel like you have to raise your voice or strain at all. Um, just sing like it's just the two of you. And try and forget that you're being recorded.

Phoebe: Right.

Constantine: Right.

[Rick knocking at the door]

Rick: Hello? Hello? Hello? Anybody here?

Phoebe: Yeah, yeah. No, I understand.

Rick: What the hell?

Constantine: Let's give it a whirl.

Rick: What the hell is this?

Phoebe: Hi.

Constantine: You uh, you must be Rick.

Rick: Yeah, hi.

Constantine: Nice to meet you.

Rick: Yes, indeed. Did you, did you sleep here last night?

Phoebe: Well, I fell asleep on the couch. Yeah.

Constantine: She was wiped out. The whole thing with her dad --

Rick: Yeah. Yeah, I know about that. Come on. We've got to go.

Phoebe: Constantine was just giving me some advice.

Rick: Advice? Oh that's good. I have some advice for you. Why don't you just back off?

Phoebe: Rick!

Constantine: Excuse me?

Rick: He had his hands all over you, Phoebe.

Phoebe: No he didn't! What?

Rick: Look, Phoebe may not be able to see what you're doing, but I do.

Constantine: Look man, I'm just trying to help her. I'm interested in --

Rick: No, I know you're interested. Just not in her voice.

Taylor: You have something you want to tell me? Do you want to wait for Nick?

Bridget: Oh, um, yes. You're right. He should be here.

Taylor: Are you sure? I mean, can it wait? Because he'll be here, probably in just a minute.

Bridget: Oh, no. That's fine. It can wait.

Taylor: Bridget, actually I'm glad we have a couple of minutes alone here. I've had something I've been wanting to say to you. I know that you and Nick discussed your role in all of this. And, honestly I haven't known if I should thank you because I didn't want it to sound insensitive. But that is the way I feel. I'm just so grateful to you for everything you've done.

Bridget: You really shouldn't be.

Taylor: Bridget, how can I not? I mean, I've known you since you were a little girl, and you've always said that you were destined to change people's lives. And that's exactly what you've done for Nick and me. It's kind of, um, ironic in a funny way. Brooke and I have always had this tenuous relationship for years, and then it's her daughter. She's the one who helps me get pregnant and -- I mean, really it's not about your mother at all. It's about you and me. And it's like, there's a new special bond between us because you've been a part of something very sacred. The life of a child, I mean, my child. And you know, I do want to thank you. I do. I hope you don't take it wrong.

Bridget: Oh God, Taylor. I'm so sorry. How am I supposed to tell you that you might be carrying my mother's baby?
