Ridge: They told me I had a visitor, they didn't say who.

Brooke: I had to see you.

Ridge: Well, I imagine you have some pretty choice words for me about now. Go ahead, just let me have it.

Brooke: All right. I hate what you put Nick through. Letting him take the fall for what you did. It was really horrible thing to do. But I know it wasn't just you. Your mother had something to do with it.

Ridge: Now, hold on. Hold on, Logan. Come on. Don't put this on her or anyone else. I'm the one that dumped that body in the bay. I'm the one that has to pay the consequences.

Brooke: I didn't come here to lecture you.

Ridge: Why did you come here?

Brooke: I want to support you. Just because we're not married anymore, doesn't mean I don't care about you. And we do share a son together.

Ridge: Promise me. Promise me you'll take care of R.J. he's going to need you more than ever now.

Brooke: He needs you. He needs a father in his life. That's why I'm determined to help you get through this anyway I can.

Dr. Caron: All right, it's all taken care of.

Bridget: Oh, what was that?

Dr. Caron: I spoke to the clerk. He finally changed the name on your mother's file back from Marone to Logan. And he wanted me to say he was sorry for mixing it up with Taylors.

Bridget: No, it's no problem. There's no harm done.

Doctor: So, is that your mother's file?

Bridget: Yeah, I'm just looking it over.

Doctor: Well, if you're almost finished, I'm going downstairs now. I can drop off.

Bridget: Sure. Thank you. That's strange.

Taylor: No, no, Thomas, no. No, I want you to stay there. I want you to stay focused on your studies. No, I know you're worried about your father. But it will be okay. Listen, I'll keep you posted on everything. All right? I love you, too. Bye.

Nick: How's Thomas?

Taylor: You know, he's worried about his father. He and his sister, Steffy, want to come back, and I told them just to wait until we know a little bit more.

Nick: What's there to discuss? He confessed. His goose is cooked. You know, I think that came out wrong. I'm sorry.

Taylor: That's okay. I expect you to feel that way about him.

Nick: Well, regardless, you know, I care about your kids. And I'm sorry they have to be affected by this.

Taylor: Yeah, me too.

Nick: But with that in mind, let's not forget that we have something pretty exciting to focus on ourselves.

Taylor: A little bambina.

Nick: Yes. Exactly. Which reminds me, I had Clarke work on a few designs and I would like to know what you think of, honestly.

Taylor: Maternity clothes?

Nick: Yeah. Yeah, it's a whole new line. I want high-end fashion for expectant mothers. I've already come up with the slogan, too. "Just because you're as big as house, doesn't mean you have to look like one." What do you think?

Phoebe: I'm sorry.

Rick: Phoebe, you do not have to apologize to me --

Phoebe: Yes, I do. I treated you unfairly. You thought that my dad had something to do with Shane's death. And you were right.

Rick: You just didn't want to think the worst about your dad. I understand that.

Phoebe: But still, I shouldn't have said the things that I said. I shouldn't have broken up with you. I was wrong. I need you. Rick, I love you so much.

Phoebe: Just thinking how close I came to losing you.

Rick: I'm not going anywhere.

Phoebe: You have no idea what that means to me. Especially now.

Rick: That's the truth.

Phoebe: I know. You would never do anything to hurt me. You know what? What's done is done. And we don't -- we don't have to talk about it anymore. We're together now. Nothing can break us up. Right?

Rick: I promise.

Ridge: I'm not sure I deserve your support.

Brooke: Deserve it or not, you have it. I'm going to support you.

Ridge: You didn't happen to bake a cake with a file in it for me, did you?

Brooke: I wouldn't joke about that in here if I were you. What I meant was I'm going to help you beat those charges.

Ridge: How are you going to do that? They're charging me with murder one.

Brooke: Not manslaughter?

Ridge: Do you think the D.A.'s office is going to be miss a chance to charge a Forrester with murder one?

Brooke: But you didn't murder him! You didn't kill Shane! You were just trying to stop him from killing himself. I'm sure your lawyers are going to be able to prove that.

Ridge: Maybe. Maybe not. Look, with my previous charge, I'm probably going to get prison time no matter what, Logan.

Brooke: That's why you did it. Because of what happened with Rick and Grant Chambers.

Ridge: When I dumped Shane's body off of Nick's boat, I didn't do it to frame Nick. It has nothing to do with revenge. It's real important to me that you know that.

Brooke: I do. But when nick was arrested, you should have said --

Ridge: I should have gone to the police. I know. I know. I wanted to.

Brooke: But Stephanie talked you out of it. Look, mistakes were made. At least we all agree about that. Now, we just need to fix those mistakes. And I think I know the best way to start.

Taylor: Are you saying, I'm getting big as a house?

Nick: No. No. No.

Taylor: But I might, get big as a house?

Nick: No. No, what I'm saying is that, you get more beautiful by the day, and that by the time you are ready, that you will be so beautiful, I won't be able to breathe.

Taylor: Good save.

Nick: Thank you. What do you think of the sketches? Seriously?

Taylor: I like them.

Nick: You do?

Taylor: Yeah, I like them a lot.

Nick: I mean, really?

Taylor: I'm just -- I guess I'm just a little surprised. I don't know that maternity clothes are exactly going to set the Milan runways on fire. What happened to Marone, the cut throat business man?

Nick: Well, I traded business for your belly.

Taylor: No, it's okay. I like this side of you.

Nick: It certainly does feel right.

Taylor: Good answer.

Nick: What's the matter? Taylor? I'll draw new ones!

Dr. Caron: What's so strange?

Bridget: Well after my mother's eggs were tested, I arranged to have them donated to the fertility research project. The one that Dr. Kumar was heading up.

Dr. Caron: Yeah, so what's the problem?

Bridget: Well, that research project isn't starting for a few more months and there's a notation here that says the eggs are already transferred.

Dr. Caron: Well, maybe Kumar's team is running ahead of schedule?

Bridget: They were transferred to the research lab.

Dr. Caron: Where were they transferred?

Bridget: To the fertility lab.

Rick: Thank you for seeing me.

Ashley: Of course. It sounded important.

Rick: Is Abby home?

Ashley: No. She's on her way to Genoa City to see her dad. I miss her. I miss her so much already. How's Phoebe?

Rick: Not good. She's really broken up about her dad.

Ashley: I bet she's glad you're home. She wants you back, doesn't she?

Rick: Phoebe and I really need each other right now, Ashley. I'm sorry. The situation with her father is just scaring her to death.

Ashley: I understand.

Rick: I made a promise to her, to stay true to her. And I meant it.

Ashley: I know.

Rick: So, what happened between us in Mexico --

Ashley: It's still there. And you know that. That connection and that desire, I can feel it. Can't you? But, it was what it was. And I'm okay with that.

Rick: I'm sorry that I have to do this. But we made a commitment to each other.

Ashley: Phoebe also made a mistake that brought you and I together in Mexico.

Rick: It took me a year -- a year to get over you and what we had in Paris. I have to try to do that again.

Ashley: That's okay. I understand. I have a really full life, and if you want to leave, I'm not stopping you. There's the door.

Dr. Caron: No, that can't be right.

Bridget: Well, it says it right here. My mother's eggs were sent to the fertility lab.

Dr. Caron: No, there's a mistake. Let me look. Okay, that is kind of strange. And look at the date it was sent, it was like a month ago.

Bridget: And where's Taylor's file?

Dr. Caron: Oh, here it is. Here it is.

Bridget: Thanks. Oh, no. Oh, God no.

Doctor: What? What's wrong?

Bridget: The day that my mother's eggs were sent to the fertility lab is the same day that Taylor's donor eggs were fertilized.

Dr. Caron: It's just a coincidence.

Bridget: Is it?

Dr. Caron: Okay. I don't know what you're thinking, but you need to calm down. Bridget, just stay here. Let me go see what I can find out.

Bridget: Oh, my God!

Nick: Hey, are you all right?

Taylor: I think so.

Nick: Little nauseous, huh?

Taylor: I guess morning sickness isn't just for mornings anymore.

Nick: Yeah. Well, let's look at the bright side.

Taylor: There's a bright side to riding the porcelain bus all day?

Nick: Yeah, there is, honey. That means the pregnancy actually taking hold here, that means the hormones are kicking in.

Taylor: Well, great. Great. All I know is it isn't fun. I don't remember being this sick with Thomas and the girls.

Nick: Yeah. Well, maybe it's the in vitro, huh?

Taylor: I don't know. It could be the father.

Nick: Let's stick with the first one, shall we?

Ridge: I think it's too late to fix anything here, Logan.

Brooke: It's never too late.

Ridge: I had so many chances to tell the truth. When that gun went off, I should have just picked up the phone and called the police. But I didn't. I just got myself in deeper and deeper. Lied to the police, let somebody else be charged for the crime. Now Lieutenant Baker and the D.A.'s office are out for blood. When they get me in that courtroom, it's over. That's it. Forget it. No jury in the world is going to have any mercy on me.

Brooke: No, you don't know that, Ridge. You're not a killer. You're just a man that got lost. And we all get lost sometimes. You panicked. You were afraid of going to prison for what happened to grant chambers. But you didn't shoot grant. You just said you did to protect my son. Now, that's the most selfless thing that anybody's ever done. And that is the kind of man that you are. And that's why I'm going to do everything in my power to set you free.

Rick: That was a kiss good-bye.

Ashley: Good-bye then.

Rick: I'm leaving.

Ashley: For now.

Rick: Ashley -- I'm so sorry about this. I am. It's just the way it has to be.

Ashley: Au revoir then.

Ridge: I protected Rick because it was the right thing to do. He was just a boy, for God's sake. I wasn't about to let him -- well, it doesn't matter now, anyway.

Brooke: It does matter. It proves what kind of man you are. Now, if we could just get the jury to see that, it would make all the difference.

Ridge: Good luck with that one.

Brooke: No, I mean it. The jury. They're people, too. They have families. They'll understand. They know what it's like to try to keep a child safe.

Ridge: Ironic, isn't it?

Brooke: What is?

Ridge: I protect Rick, for that you call me a hero. I protect my own daughter, I end up losing you.

Brooke: Ridge, those are different situations.

Ridge: Are you sure about that?

Brooke: Just because you punched my son, doesn't make you a murderer. Now, you can't give up. You need to be there for R.J. you need to see him grow up. Be there as a father. We have to fight, Ridge. And you have to let me help you.

Ridge: You really think there's a chance?

Brooke: Yes. Yes, I do. And you have to believe it too.

Nick: Thank you.

Taylor: For what?

Nick: Just -- for doing all of this for me. Going through the in vitro, putting your body through all these changes. You know, this nauseousness that you're going through and stretch marks and the swollen ankles, and -- you're making me so grateful that I'm a man.

Taylor: You forgot mood swings.

Nick: Oh honey, you don't have any of those.

Taylor: You know what?

Nick: What?

Taylor: The truth is, I don't mind any of that. Not at all. I don't even care if I have to have bed rest the rest of the whole pregnancy. Because this little baby is ours. It's yours. And it's mine. It may have been somebody else's eggs, but -- it's our baby.

Dr. Caron: Hey, I did some research.

Bridget: What -- what did you find out?

Dr. Caron: I went to the lab, I talked to the techs. Apparently, when you said for the Marone eggs to be sent to the fertility lab, your mother's eggs got sent instead of the donor eggs from --

Bridget: What? Why?

Dr. Caron: Because they were both labeled Marone. And I guess the tech assumed that since you were the one calling, that's who you were talking about, so, that's what was sent.

Bridget: Wait a minute, so you're telling me that my mother's eggs were in the fertility lab at the same time that Taylor's donors were fertilized?

Dr. Caron: Yes. But the donor's eggs were sent over, too. I just checked the shipping order. Dr. Kimbrough made those instructions.

Bridget: If my mother's eggs were in the lab the same time that Taylor's donor's eggs were fertilized, and they were labeled under the same name -- oh, dear God. Are you telling me that I might have implanted Taylor with my mother's eggs?
