Nick: This is it. No more holding back.

Brooke: No more holding back.

Nick: You with me?

Brooke: Yes. Yes.

Stephanie: I thought justice would never be served.

Eric: This isn't justice, Stephanie. It's vengeance.

Stephanie: You don't even know what I'm going to do.

Eric: You're not going to do anything. Because this isn't your company.

Stephanie: The hell it's not.

Eric: Your father set up this trust to protect his initial investment. It was my talent that made this company a success. Thanks to me, you could have paid back this debt a thousand times.

Stephanie: Now it's your turn to pay back your debt to me.

Eric: My debt to you?

Stephanie: Yes. After all the years -- the decades -- that I have played the long-suffering, loyal wife, while you let that bitch used up my family and my company.

Eric: Oh, for god's sake. Leave Brooke out of this.

Stephanie: By all means, I will. I'll make sure she never sets foot in this building again.

Eric: I'll have Jonathan block any attempt you make to do anything to --

[ Stephanie laughs ]

Stephanie: That shyster lawyer of yours is in enough trouble on his own. Don't make empty threats. He cannot break the trust.

Eric: You will not start a legal battle over this company.

Stephanie: You're right, I won't. Because you are not going to fight me.

Eric: Yes, I will.

Stephanie: No. Wouldn't be the smart thing to do. I have the full weight of the law behind me. I can bring it down around your head any time I want. Fraud, embezzlement, grand larceny. Just imagine -- just imagine the trouble that Brooke could get into while hubby is serving jail time.

Dante: So, your dad and Brooke are moving into her place.

Bridget: Yeah, well, they decided to just stay where they are. They thought it would be best for the kids.

Dante: Well, look on the bright side -- you've got this great beach house all to yourself.

Bridget: Yeah, well, it's not exactly how I saw myself a few months ago. Pregnant and alone.

Dante: You're not alone, Bridget.

Bridget: I know, I'm kidding. I'm just feeling sorry for myself.

Dante: You want to feel sorry for someone? Feel sorry for me. When I offered to help you move all this stuff, I didn't know you had all this stuff.

Bridget: I told you, if you would just let me help, we would do it a lot faster.

Dante: No, no. Wait, wait, wait. You're the mother-to-be. What you're going to do is you're going to relax right here.

Bridget: Oh, come on.

Dante: You're not going to move a feather. What you're going to do is you're going to put your feet up, like so --

Bridget: Goodness.

Dante: Yeah. And I'm going to take care of everything. You have nothing to worry about, okay?

Brooke: I want to be with you, Nick. I do. I want you more than I've ever wanted any man.

Nick: I'm right here.

Brooke: But I can't. I can't do this to my daughter.

Nick: Your daughter knows the truth. She doesn't want me.

Brooke: And what about Eric? I took vows!

Nick: You took a wrong turn, and that can be fixed. Forget about everybody else! I keep asking you that. I want you to think about us. Just us. And what we feel right now.

Brooke: I'm thinking about my daughter. You and Bridget are expecting a child together.

Nick: And that child is always going to come first in my life, no matter who I'm with. You know that.

Brooke: So now you know why I can't do this.

Dante: Are you all unpacked?

Bridget: Not quite. What are you doing?

Dante: I'm making you something to eat. Lemon chicken and Cappelini.

Bridget: Wow. Gosh, it smells amazing, but I'm not really all that hungry.

Dante: The doctor says you're going to have to put on some weight.

Bridget: She didn't say I have to put it all on tonight.

Dante: You wouldn't be eating anything if I hadn't've picked up these groceries. You know what your father had in the fridge?

Bridget: Hmm?

Dante: Caviar and champagne, that's it.

Bridget: Yeah, he's like me. He likes to eat out.

Dante: You know, if I was living in here, you would have a cooked meal every night.

Bridget: Is that so?

Dante: Yeah. If I wasn't in the kitchen, I'd be in the guest bedroom, of course.

Bridget: You mean the nursery?

Dante: Oh, you don't have to worry about that for a couple months. And then, you know, who knows?

Bridget: So, you and me? Living together?

Dante: Well, just think about it, all right? You're here by yourself. In a couple of weeks, you might want some company. All right, listen, I'll just keep cooking, and -- I'm telling you, by the end of the night, I guarantee you you'll be begging me to stay. Watch.

Nick: Doesn't everyone deserve to be happy? Don't we deserve to be happy?

Brooke: Not at my daughter's expense.

Nick: So, let's everyone be miserable then. Because that's what going to happen if you keep denying your feelings for me.

Brooke: I am not denying my feelings. I love you, Nick. And I want to be with you. Tonight. Tomorrow. The next day. But I also want to be able to look at myself in the mirror.

Nick: Then look at me. Listen to me.

Brooke: No, I can't.

Nick: You can.

Brooke: I'll never forgive myself.

Nick: For what? Forgive yourself for what? Being honest to your heart? Being truthful to yourself?

Brooke: Being selfish. Being out of control.

Nick: That's not out of control. This is out of control. Running from me. Marrying a man that you don't love, that is out of control.

Brooke: Protecting my child. Protecting your child.

Nick: I will be there for them. And I'll be there for you.

Brooke: I need you to let go. Let me go.

Nick: No. I won't.

Brooke: If you love me -- if you love me, you will. Because --

Nick: What?

Brooke: Because --

Nick: You can't say it. You won't say it. Because you know you belong with me. You know you belong with me.

Eric: Put in a call to Jonathan. Tell him I want to see him right away.

Stephanie: Oh, that's a very good idea. I think you -- I think you're definitely going to want Jonathan here. You're not going to want to talk to the police without him.

Eric: Nobody's going to talk to the police.

Stephanie: That's up to you.

Eric: There's no reason for you to be making crazy threats.

Stephanie: Oh, now I'm crazy?

Eric: I think you see this as an opportunity for vengeance.

Stephanie: How many victories have you celebrated at my expense? How many times have I sat by and watched you and Brooke dismantle my dreams for this company?

Eric: If you execute this trust, our children will suffer.

Stephanie: Our children have already suffered. You kept this secret. You enabled Brooke to steal our children's rightful inheritance.

Eric: You cannot put this on Brooke! She has nothing to do with this.

Stephanie: You're absolutely right. It doesn't. And it hasn't anything to do with you, either. It's all about me, and the things that my father taught me -- principles, discipline, leading a moral, dignified life. And standing my ground.

Eric: You're not going to Florida.

Stephanie: Nope. There's a lot of work here. I have a company to run. What's "sorenositis"?

Eric: There's no need to change anything at Forrester.

Stephanie: I disagree. This company needs major changes.

Eric: Stephanie, this is not a game, for god's sake. Forrester Creations employs hundreds of people. They depend on us for their livelihood. You can't just come in here and turn everything upside down. You have to think of their families.

Stephanie: How ironic. None of this would be happening, if you had thought of your family. If you had thought of your children's legacy more than you thought of Brooke. If you had shown any loyalty to me, to our marriage --

Eric: This is not about our marriage! This is about our company. This company has thrived under my leadership.

Stephanie: Since I got it back for you.

Eric: And I will always be grateful for that.

[ Stephanie laughs ]

Stephanie: But not grateful enough to reveal this trust.

Eric: Damn this trust! I am Forrester Creations. Without me, you own 100% of nothing. This is worthless. It doesn't mean a damn thing! I should have torn this up years ago.

Stephanie: Well, if you weren't going to tell me about it -- yes, you should have. But you were either too stupid or too arrogant to get rid of it. Did you believe that I would never find out?

Eric: I believed we were a team. I believed that we were equal partners. That's what we envisioned for this company from the very beginning.

Stephanie: And I envisioned a house filled with love. A house filled with children and grandchildren. A life of success and satisfaction. A husband who would love me and never betray me. Who would protect me. But you didn't protect me. You lied to me and you betrayed me. So, you tell me -- why should I trust you to run my company now?

Bridget: I'm sorry.

Dante: Don't be. I'm glad you're enjoying it.

Bridget: Enjoying it? I'm inhaling it.

Dante: There's more in the kitchen, you know.

Bridget: No, really, I shouldn't.

Dante: Well, you better. I promised your doctor that I'd fatten you up by your next appointment.

Bridget: That's gonna be kind of hard if you're driving out to Malibu every night to feed me.

Dante: Did you think about my proposition?

Bridget: Between every bite.

Dante: And?

Bridget: Honestly, it just -- it just really doesn't seem right.

Dante: Now, look, if I do move in, we'll just be roommates, okay? That's all.

Bridget: It's just going to be a long time before I'm able to trust a man again. What I really need right now is a friend.

Dante: You've got one. Right here.

Bridget: But I know you would rather be more.

Dante: Listen, I know you're still in love with Nick.

Bridget: Yeah.

Dante: And he's such a fool.

Bridget: Oh, you know, we just all got caught up in a situation that was really bad. And, unfortunately, my dad is still in it.

Dante: Doesn't your dad know that Brooke and Nick still have feelings for each other?

Bridget: It's pointless. Maybe Nick and my mom should just give in to their feelings. Then, at least, my dad could move on.

Dante: And what about you?

Bridget: It's going to be really hard, but I'll be -- I'll be fine. You know, I'll eventually move on.

Dante: Hey, listen. We will, okay?

Eric: I'm not asking you to trust me. I'm not asking you for anything.

Stephanie: Well, you're not really in a position to, are you?

Eric: I'm trusting you to do what's right for this family.

Stephanie: That's what I'm going to do, Eric.

Eric: And you're going to leave everything alone, then?

Stephanie: No.

Eric: The stocks have already been divided. You cannot rob our children and our grandchildren of their legacy. Think what that would do to them.

Stephanie: Taylor says that I should start thinking about myself.

Eric: Well, running this company is not going to solve your problems.

Stephanie: Let's not talk about my problems, Eric. If I'm angry and bitter, it's because of you. Because of your lack of respect for me. Of your infidelities, your affairs. And each year has only brought new humiliation, new disgrace, new disappointments that, for years, have chipped away at my self esteem and my self respect until I didn't know who the hell I was. And to think that I was going to walk out of my family and my company, and all you could say to me was, "have a nice trip." Well, Eric, I'm going to stay, and I'm going to put my family and my company back on track.

Eric: Don't expect any help from me.

Stephanie: I don't want any.

Eric: I'm the lead designer.

Stephanie: Well, I'll do it then.

Eric: You? What are you going to make? Cell phones? Pick-up trucks? This is a fashion house!

Stephanie: How hard can it be? A few pretty pictures every season?

Eric: I'm an artist. I'm a designer. Everything I do is a reflection of who I am inside and what I believe.

Stephanie: Oh, so you're saying that, when you design, you reveal your true inner self? Oh, please, let me try. Let me see if I can't capture the essence of Eric Forrester. See if this -- if this is it. One more, hold on. I think this is the real you. No? But the piece de resistance -- the showstopper. Every collection has to have a showstopper, doesn't it? And this, my dear, is yours. Have a nice trip. And don't let the door hit you on the way out.

Brooke: No. No, Nick. This isn't you. This is impulse and desire and frustration with this whole damn thing.

Nick: Yes, of course its frustration. Because Bridget keeps getting hurt over and over again. That's got to stop. We've got to be honest with her, and it starts by us being honest with ourselves.

Brooke: And are you being honest with yourself? Yes, I want you. And you want me. But is it really worth it? You are going to have a child with Bridget. Do you really want to walk away from that? You want to turn your back on your wife and your baby forever? Because if you do, Nick, you have to tell me that. Because my daughter -- she deserves something better. She deserves a man who is going to be there for her, and be loyal to her and love her with everything that he's got. And if you can't do that, then she's better off without you. But I know you. Nick, I know you. You're just confused right now. But you're not a fool. And that baby, and your wife, they are counting on you. And as angry as Bridget is, she still loves you so much. Now, if you're willing to trade that in for me, then you're right. She is better off without you, and you shouldn't be there. But is that the kind of person that you are, Nick? You would betray your own family? Is that really the person that you are? Because if it is, I want you to take me. I want you to make love to me. Take me, Nick. Take me!

Nick: I can't. I can't any more than you can. I'll be there for them. And I'll love them, and I'll give them everything I've got.

Brooke: You are going to have such a happy life together.

Nick: I know. Thanks to you. Thank you.
