Brooke: Make love to me, Ridge. Show me that we can be together forever. Starting right now.

Bridget: You are so wonderful.

Nick: Well, you should drink more often.

Bridget: It was so sweet of you to do this. Bring me all the way up to Napa for dinner. You know, you didn't have to do that.

Nick: Well, I wanted to do it. Getaways are good. Good getaway.

Bridget: It was just what I needed. The mountains, the beautiful vineyards and, oh, the wine.

[ Bridget laughs ]

Nick: Well, you certainly enjoyed the wine. Huh?

Bridget: The Chardonnay was so good.

Nick: Yeah, it was good.

Bridget: The Merlot was spicy.

Nick: The Pinot and the Cabs and the Zinfandel.

[ Bridget laughs ] The Sauvignon Blanc -- huh?

Bridget: I'm sorry, I didn't know which one I liked the best, so I just thought I should try them all. Maybe a few times.

Nick: Yeah, you know, that's why we went.

Bridget: What, to drink?

Nick: Pretty much so, yeah.

Bridget: Maybe I went a little overboard.

Nick: No, I don't think so.

Bridget: It was just such a relief to finally get away. Away with you and get away from all the busybodies.

Nick: Busybodies? Why, whoever are you talking about?

Bridget: I'm just so sick of Jackie and Stephanie and Taylor telling me how in love you are with my mother.

Nick: But I love you. I love only you.

[ Bridget laughs ]

Taylor: Stephanie, are you okay?

Stephanie: Oh, I -- I'm fine, I'm fine. Nothing an aspirin and -- and a contract on Brooke's life wouldn't cure. She was so smug after ridge called her. You know, she took it as a sign that he wants to be with her. I hate it when she gets smug like that. Oh, god, it makes me nervous. It makes me always think that she's got some sort of an ace up her sleeve.

Taylor: Oh, Stephanie, you know how she is. She's just trying to goad you.

Stephanie: I don't trust her, Taylor. And you shouldn't either.

Catherine: Oh, sorry. I didn't mean to interrupt.

Taylor: That's okay. You looking for something?

Catherine: Yeah, Hope's dolly. She can't sleep without it. Ah, here it is.

Taylor: Are you helping Brooke put the kids to bed?

Stephanie: She's upstairs, isn't she?

Catherine: Actually, no.

Stephanie: She's not here?

Taylor: When I came home, I thought she was upstairs with the kids. When did she say she'd be back?

Stephanie: Catherine, what did she tell you?

Catherine: She asked me to spend the night with Hope and R.J. Now, if you'll excuse me.

Stephanie: I knew it. I knew she was up to something. You know what this means.

Taylor: I'll bet she went straight to the beach house.

Stephanie: She's not supposed to go until tomorrow.

Taylor: I can't think of one legitimate reason for her to go over there, tonight, the day before she's supposed to go.

Stephanie: I'm going down there right now before it's too late.

Taylor: Come on, Ridge. Pick up.

[ Phone ringing ]

Ridge: Logan, wait, wait, wait. Hold on, hold on, hold on. We can't do this. We can't -- we had some ground rules, remember? You and Taylor and I agreed, okay?

Brooke: You're my husband. And I need to know you'll be my husband forever. Oh, god, I love you. I need you right now. Ridge.

Ridge: Oh, Logan, wait. Come on, we can't do this. We can't do this.

Brooke: Ridge, wait. Tonight, it's just you and me. It will always be just you and me.

Ridge: Oh, Logan. Oh, Logan.

Nick: Well, if you know it, and I know it, that's all that matters.

Bridget: It's all that should matter.

Nick: The busybodies are getting to you, aren't they? Tell me, huh?

Bridget: Well, it's just -- it's a little disappointing when you thought that your wedding was gonna bring your families together. People keep telling me to postpone the wedding, or wait until Ridge gets back, or maybe you shouldn't get married right now. It's enough to just drive you crazy.

Nick: Well, how crazy exactly?

Bridget: I don't know. Just crazy -- why?

Nick: You feel like doing something crazy? Something that'll put a cork right in their mouths.

Bridget: You try to put a cork in Stephanie's mouth and she'll spit it right back at your face.

Nick: Well, Stephanie can't tell you not to marry me if you've already married me.

Bridget: What? What do you mean? You mean get married right now? Taylor in the same room, that's a recipe for disaster. You know that.

Bridget: Yeah, it could get a little sticky, but I --

Nick: Well, is that what you want? Do you want a sticky wedding?

Bridget: No.

Nick: Good. 'Cause you know what I want? I want this. I want to make you happy. I want to be happy together as husband and wife.

Bridget: Oh, god. I love the sound of that.

Nick: Good. Then it's settled. No more fooling around. I'm gonna give you a job, okay?

Bridget: Okay.

Nick: You find the champagne and get it open. I'm gonna go to the pilot and have him change course. Because tonight, we're getting married, beautiful.

[ Cell phone rings ]

Stephanie: Hello?

Taylor: Stephanie, I just tried to call the beach house, and Ridge didn't even answer.

Stephanie: Oh, well, it's a good thing I'm on my way.

Taylor: What're you gonna do once you get there?

Stephanie: Well, I'd like to kill her, but I don't want to go to jail.

Taylor: Stephanie, we don't even know if she's there.

Stephanie: Oh, she's there, Taylor. Believe me. And she's doing her damnedest to seduce your husband. This is vintage Brooke. And nobody knows that better than me.

Brooke: You want this, too. I feel it.

Ridge: Logan, we can't.

Brooke: Since when have you been such a stickler for rules?

Ridge: Because I made the rules.

Brooke: Hmm.

Ridge: Yeah, hmm. To keep a complicated situation from getting more complicated. Taylor and I were tempted. But we didn't do anything. You know, we -- we played by the rules.

Brooke: Good.

Ridge: So, you understand?

Brooke: I think I understand better than you do.

Ridge: Hmm.

Brooke: We have a different kind of relationship, Ridge. Just the two of us sharing a very intimate part of ourselves. That's us.

Ridge: I --

Brooke: No, don't speak. Our connection goes deeper than words. I need you. I need you tonight more than I ever have. Make love to me. Connect with me. And your decision will be made.

Nick: Ah, champagne, good. It's all set.

Bridget: What's all set?

Nick: Viva Las Vegas, viva Las Vegas

Bridget: Vegas?

Nick: That's right, Vegas! That's what we should have done in the first place. Vegas. You feel it, you know it's right. That way we don't have to go through these families and these women talking in your ear, making you all crazy about whether we should be married, whether we shouldn't be married. There's a little -- there's a little chapel that I've seen there before. And there's this nice little tuxedo shop right next to it. And they've always had this light blue powdered tuxedo in the window with the ruffles. Seriously, deep down, I like ruffles. [Bridget laughs ] Do you know what is unique about this one moment right now?

Bridget: What?

Nick: Is that I -- I will never make love to you again as a single man.

Bridget: That's because in a few hours, I'm going to be Mrs. Dominick Marone.

Nick: Yeah. But you know what I'd like to have? I'd like to have Bridget Forrester one last time. Is she available? Hmm?

Bridget: I think so.

Nick: Really?

Bridget: Just for you.

Ridge: Oh, no. I just -- I can't do this. This isn't fair to Taylor.

Brooke: Forget about Taylor.

Ridge: I can't, Logan. And I can't resist you if I stay in this bedroom. So, I'm gonna go get us something to eat, okay? I'll get something to eat.

Brooke: You know I love oysters and champagne.

[ Phone rings ]

Taylor: Ridge?

Dante: Taylor?

Taylor: Dante?

Dante: I'll bet you're surprised to hear from me, right?

Taylor: Yeah. No, I mean --

Dante: All right, listen, I just wanted to make sure you were okay. You certainly look okay. More than okay. You look -- you look radiant.

Taylor: Did I see you at the press conference?

Dante: Yeah, I just wanted to see you with my own eyes. I mean, especially after what we went through to get you home.

Taylor: Which I'll always be grateful to you for. More than I can say. It's just that --

Dante: You're with your husband and children now. Where you belong.

Taylor: Yes.

Dante: Still, I would hate to leave L.A. Without seeing you. You know, perhaps I can stop by in the morning.

Taylor: Oh, no, Dante, that really wouldn't be a very good idea. You know, I think you're a wonderful, dear man, and I'll always be grateful to you, but I just don't -- I don't think I can see you. All right, okay? Take care. All right, bye-bye.

Brooke: Okay. First, wine. Then dinner. And then dessert. [ Knock on door ] Stephanie. What is she doing here?

Stephanie: Open up this door, you hussy.

Brooke: Go away. I'm not letting you in.

Stephanie: What? Did you think I wouldn't have a key?

Brooke: What the hell are you doing here?

Stephanie: Well, I suppose I could ask you that same thing. But now that I see you're dressed that way. Could you be any more obvious?

[ Laughing ]

Manager: Oh, yes. I hope you're very, very happy.

Both: Thank you, I love you.

Groom: This is as good as it gets.

[ Cheering ]

Bride: Let's go win our money back!

Groom: Sounds good.

Bridget: Whoo, whoo. I'm feeling lucky tonight.

Nick: Just don't step on the blue suede shoes. That's the king's rule. Hi. Hi, there. This gorgeous lady and I would like to get married, please.

Manager: Got your license?

Nick: Well, yes, we do, actually. We stopped at the marriage bureau on the way over here. And what did I do with that license, Bridget?

Bridget: Oh, oh, oh.

Nick: You remember?

Bridget: Ta-da!

Nick: There we go. Here.

Bridget: Have you ever seen a more handsome groom?

Manager: You've been drinking.

Nick: Celebrating. Actually, we're very serious about this.

Bridget: We're really, really, really serious.

Nick: You know, we've actually been down the aisle once before. But my fiance's stepfather's wife returned from the dead, so --

Manager: Save it. I've heard it all before.

Bridget: So you'll help us?

Manager: I will be happy to arrange your wedding for you.

Nick: Oh.

Manager: But there's one couple ahead of you. So you'll have to wait.

Bridget: That's okay.

Nick: Well, I'm sure we can find a way to occupy our time. Can't we, my little basket of pink, bubbly balloons and bouquets.

Gaby: I'm still not sure getting married is the right thing to do.

Thomas: Gaby, it's the only way, all right? Without a green card, you can't go to college, or worse, you could be deported.

Gaby: To a country where I don't know anyone.

Thomas: You shouldn't be alone right now. Especially after losing your mother.

Gaby: I just -- I hate dragging you into this.

Thomas: I want to do this for you.

Brooke: Damn it, Stephanie, you have no right to come in here like this.

Stephanie: I didn't break the rules.

Brooke: I didn't break anything.

Stephanie: Yeah, well, not for want of trying. Look at you dressed that way. Have you no shame?

Brooke: I have no reason to be ashamed.

Stephanie: Oh, right. As long as you get what you want.

Brooke: What I want is for you to leave.

Stephanie: And what I want is for you to leave before Ridge gets back here and you throw this little seduction act of yours into high gear.

Brooke: That's not what this is.

Stephanie: It isn't? Let's see. Sexy music, wine, you're naked under that shirt. I don't know, what would you call it?

Brooke: I would call it a wife wanting to be with her husband.

Stephanie: Oh, well, you're supposed to be with him tomorrow, not tonight.

Brooke: Well, I couldn't wait.

Stephanie: Yeah, I can see that. Threw your uniform on and drove down here in the car as fast as you could.

Brooke: Got here just in time to scrub Ridge's back.

Stephanie: What?

Brooke: Yes, Stephanie. If you got here just a few minutes earlier, you would have found ridge and me in the shower together.

Stephanie: Which proves how truly desperate and needy you are.

Brooke: As opposed to saintly Taylor? Who could do no wrong. But then, what man would want to be married to a saint?

Stephanie: And the hell with what's best for everyone else, right? Just as long as Ridge chooses you.

Brooke: What's best for everyone is what Ridge is trying to decide right now.

Stephanie: And you're trying to stack the deck here -- plying him with wine, dressed this way. Look, you could get away with that in the past but not now, not anymore. Brooke, there's too much at stake here. There are a lot of people that I love that can end up being hurt by this and I am not going to let you get away with this.
