[ Taylor laughing ]

Ridge: That was great.

Taylor: I can't believe you did that to my top. I did not want to skinny-dip.

Ridge: Oh, I think we should have just gone for it.

Taylor: Ooh. Oh, yeah, right, and get ourselves a nice citation for public nudity.

Ridge: Oh, nobody would've even noticed.

Taylor: Yeah, except for that old couple that you almost gave a heart attack to.

Ridge: Did you see the looks they gave us?

Taylor: No. No, I didn't see anything because I was too busy looking at you.

Ridge: Oh, you're shivering. You're shivering. Here.

Taylor: Ah, much better. Much better.

Ridge: Good, good, good, good. Maybe we should go get out of these wet clothes.

Taylor: I don't know, maybe we could wrap ourselves in a big fluffy blanket, get a bottle of wine --

Ridge: Yeah, that sounds pretty good. I'll get the wine. We can reconnect. Get the blanket, get the wine, but first things first.

Gaby: What are you doing?

Thomas: I'm asking you to marry me.

Gaby: Thomas, get up.

Thomas: Not until you answer me.

Gaby: You don't want to marry me.

Thomas: I want you to stay in this country and go to college. Connor said the only way to do that is to get a green card. You get a green card by marrying someone.

Gaby: Oh, I can't.

Thomas: Yes. Yes, you can.

Gaby: Thomas, please get up. Please get off your knees. Please. This is not the answer.

Thomas: There is no other answer. Gaby, if you go back to your country, you may not get back. Not for years, anyway. And then come back to what?

Gaby: I'd be legal.

Thomas: Marry me and you are. It's the only way, Gaby. Marry me, you get a green card, and you can stay. It's that simple.

[ "Unforgettable plays" ]

Ridge: Logan, I'm always going to love you.

Unforgettable that's what you are

unforgettable though near or far

Ridge: I love you, Mrs. Forrester.

Like a song of love that clings to me how the thought of you does things to me

never before has someone been more

Megan: Brooke? Sorry to interrupt.

Brooke: It's okay.

Megan: Ridge's not coming in today?

Brooke: No, he's at the beach house with Taylor.

Megan: Listen to me, Brooke. He'll choose you.

Brooke: I know. Yeah. I hope.

Megan: You are getting equal time at the beach house, right?

Brooke: Yes, of course. It's only fair. Megan, what is it?

Megan: It's Stephanie. Brooke, she canceled all of her appointments today, and she is going to the beach house.

Brooke: What?

Megan: I know, I know, it's the last thing you need hear and I'm sorry to tell you, but --

Brooke: Oh, my god. She's going over there to talk to Ridge before I even have a chance to spend time alone with him?

Stephanie: Oh well, look who's here.

Brooke: Stephanie.

Stephanie: Oh, pay me no mind. I just dropped by on my way back from the beach house.

Brooke: What the hell are you up to now?

Gaby: Do you even realize what you're saying? You're talking about marrying someone you hardly even know.

Thomas: It's just a piece of paper. A way around you being an illegal immigrant so you can attend college.

Gaby: Thomas, marriage is something sacred. It's about two people coming together before god. It's not something you take lightly.

Thomas: I know. I know. But this won't be in a church. We could have a civil ceremony, get a license, and you can stay in the country.

Gaby: A marriage in name only.

Thomas: Exactly. Look, if there we any other way --

Gaby: We can't do this. We'd be breaking laws. It's not right.

Thomas: And what's happening to you is right? Gaby, your mother brought you here so you could have a better life. You've worked your butt off. You got into Larchmont College. Don't let this ruin all of that. Not when there's another option. Marry me, Gaby. Do it for your future, do it for your mom. All the dreams she had for you, they're still there. She still has those dreams.

Megan: You know, I think I should get back to my desk.

[ Brooke sighs ]

Brooke: You couldn't stay out of it, could you?

Stephanie: I wanted Ridge to know exactly where I stood.

Brooke: Like you could possibly stand anywhere but right next to Taylor.

Stephanie: With my last breath, I'll drive you out of this family.

Brooke: Or die trying?

Stephanie: If it comes to that.

Brooke: Stephanie, what you're doing, it's ugly and desperate. And I'm not the only person who noticed.

Stephanie: What? Telling my son that he should choose a woman who knows the difference between right and wrong?

Brooke: You should really try to be my ally, not my enemy. Because every time you stick your nose into somebody else's business, you score points on my side.

Stephanie: Ahh. There aren't enough points in the world for you to win the game. You can't beat Taylor.

Ridge: You smell so good. So familiar. Kinda feel like you'd never left. I've dreamt of this moment, doc. When you were gone -- I'd get into bed and I would turn down your side. Look at the light on in the bathroom, and I'd want to believe -- I had to believe that you were in there. Brushing your hair, getting ready for bed. When I hold you now, honestly, I don't know if I'm here on earth or in heaven.

Taylor: Wherever we are, whatever we're doing, that is heaven.

Ridge: There's no better in the world than right here in this moment right now. God, doc, I've missed you so much. Missed you.

Brooke: Don't you see what you're doing, Stephanie? How you're poisoning yourself? No wonder Eric doesn't see you as the woman that he married anymore.

Stephanie: Really?

Brooke: No. He doesn't. He sees you as a belligerent, angry woman.

Stephanie: Well, now who's making an assumption about a marriage that she's not part of.

Brooke: Oh, I'm not making assumptions. Eric told me this himself that that's how he feel about you.

Stephanie: Oh. Well, I appreciate your concern about my marriage.

Brooke: Really?

Stephanie: You really played him, didn't you? What did you do? Put your head on his shoulder and weep big tears and say, "oh, Eric, Eric. Stephanie, that mean old woman that you're married to, is so unkind to me?" You know, because he's a decent man, he listens to you. To what you have to say. And now everything that comes out of his mouth is something that you've already said.

Brooke: Oh. So that's how you do it. Whatever anybody says about you, somehow comes out of my mouth first. Well, I have a news flash for you, Stephanie. I have a relationship with Eric because you pushed him to me. And I may seem like this evil monster in your sick imagination, but really, the men in your life are only comforted by me.

Stephanie: I wouldn't call what you offer "comfort."

Brooke: Oh, of course not. Because you are an unfeeling, uptight bitch who -- oh, god, could you be any more pathetic?

[ Stephanie chuckles ]

Stephanie: This from a woman who spreads herself for any man any time. You know, that's always been you're fatal flaw. You've always mistaken sex for love, which is why you have never been able to keep any man, and never made him really happy. Any man. And that includes Ridge.

Brooke: No, I have made Ridge very happy.

Stephanie: No. You've used your body to keep him, because that's your tool. But you are still the same little tramp for the valley.

Eric: Stop it! Stop it right now. Unbelievable. Get out of here.

Stephanie: You heard him.

Eric: Stephanie, I'm talking to you.

Ridge: I don't know what to do, doc. Someone's going to get hurt here. And the thought of that happening really rips me inside. I'm so sorry you've gotta go through this. I know it's gotta be hard on you.

Taylor: Tell me what you're feeling.

Ridge: I'm feeling -- the thought of my kids having to be raised in a home without both parents -- it gets to me, but I don't know any way around it.

Taylor: You can't split yourself in two. And you can't make everyone happy. If you do, no one will be happy.

Ridge: So, then, what? What the hell do I do then?

Taylor: You do what feels right in your heart. That's all you can do. And you remember one very important thing. No matter what you choose, I will always love you.

Gaby: I can still feel my mother watching over me. Even now.

Thomas: She wanted so much for you. She still does.

Gaby: Thomas, even if this could work, even if it could, your family would freak. I don't want to do that to them.

Thomas: They'd understand. Because they would want you to stay. Not that we even have to tell them.

Gaby: What do you mean?

Thomas: Well, it's like you said -- marriage in name only, right? No one has to know. You could stay on here, and we could still date, of course.

[ Gaby sighs ]

Gaby: We'd be married and dating? What if you -- what if we broke up? What if you met somebody else? What if you wanted to get married for real?

Thomas: Look, I know this is complicated, and I don't have it all worked out, but --

Gaby: This is nuts, Thomas.

Thomas: No crazier than you having to leave this country. You can't just give up your dream like that.

Gaby: And my mother's dream.

Thomas: She worked her whole life for it.

[ Gaby sighs ]

Gaby: What would my mother think if she knew I was going to get married for the wrong reason?

Thomas: Look, I'm only trying to help. Besides, I wouldn't be doing this if I wasn't crazy about you.

Gaby: You know I wouldn't even be considering this if I wasn't crazy about you, too.

Thomas: I don't want to lose you, Gaby. Look, I told my family I was spending the night with a friend. We go to Vegas tonight, get married, and be back by morning.

Gaby: Are you sure?

Thomas: Yes.

Gaby: Thomas. Thank you. Thank you.

Ridge: We came here, doc, to be alone, to connect --

Taylor: You're talking and trusting. Trusting is the most important connection two people can make.

Ridge: I don't have all the answers.

Taylor: You always want what is good. Not necessarily for you, but for all the people you love. You give so much of yourself to so many people -- now it's time for all of us to trust you and what you need to do. Whatever reason this happened, we have to believe it's part of some kind of plan. Trust yourself, Ridge. You're the finest man I've ever known.

Ridge: Oh, doc. I really do need you. I don't think I realized just how much until this moment.

Taylor: I'll be right back.

[ Thunder ]

Stephanie: You're asking me to leave?

Eric: Yes. Now. I'm beyond fed up. This constant meddling of yours has to stop.

Stephanie: Did you expect me to just stand by --

Eric: I expect you to stay the hell out of it! Ridge is a grown-up. He can make his own choices here.

Stephanie: Mm-hmm. And do you believe that he should stay with Brooke? My god, you do believe that.

Eric: What I think doesn't matter.

Stephanie: Of course it does.

Eric: Stephanie, go. Just go!

Stephanie: I saw Taylor and Ridge earlier today. I saw them embrace. I saw them kiss. They are down there together, and there is not a damn thing that either one of you can do about it.

Brooke: I'll have my time with Ridge.

Stephanie: Oh, you just keep on thinking that. You know what I think? I think he'll probably call you on the phone and say "I'll think I'll take another day or two with Taylor. Maybe a week, maybe a month, maybe a year." He is with her, and he is never going to leave her ever again.

[ Phone ringing ]

Brooke: Oh, my. Oh, well. Look who this is.

Brooke: Ridge, honey? Is everything all right?

Ridge: I wanted to talk to you, Logan. About your plans to come out to the beach house.

Brooke: You still want me to come there, don't you?
