Stephanie: All the years that I've watched you cry those crocodile tears, and ask for forgiveness, are over. Taylor is back. She has broken your hold on Ridge, and believe me when I say this -- no one, no one could be happier than I am.

Thomas: I can't wait for the day when we hang out at home with the family. You know, the way it used to be.

Bridget: What do you mean?

Thomas: When we'd all hang out. Mom and dad. Phoebe, Steffy and I. Just watch a movie or play a game.

Bridget: You know you're gonna have those times again soon. I'm sure mom will be accommodating.

Thomas: I mean after Brooke moves out.

Bridget: Don't get ahead of yourself. You know, mom and Rdge have a really complicated situation ahead of them with Taylor. We just have to respect that the decisions they're gonna make aren't going to be easy.

Hope: I want to see daddy.

Gaby: Hey, honey. Daddy's busy right now. But how about you take a swim with me, huh?

Thomas: I'll get her.

Gaby: No. Hey, it's okay. I'm gonna go chase the little rascal down. Where'd she go?

Bridget: Listen, Thomas. I know you have a very strong opinion about the way things need to be with your mom and Ridge.

Thomas: And apparently you have yours, too. What do you think?

Taylor: Sweetheart, I'm trying to be patient, I am. But I want my life back. I want our life back. I do, I want you. I can't believe I'm having to feel guilty about wanting you and wanting to be with you and needing you and wanting to make love to you.

Ridge: I need you too, doc.

Taylor: We've been given another chance. So then, let's just take it.

Hope: Hi, Daddy.

Ridge: Hey, sweetheart.

Hope: What are you doing?

Brooke: When Ridge disappeared, when we didn't know what had happened to him, or where he was -- I held this family together. And you said that you were very proud of me. And now you're saying this is all an act on your part?

Stephanie: I did what I had to do.

Brooke: So you lied to me? All of those words? Words of encouragement? Is deception really that easy for you, Stephanie?

Stephanie: Well, I don't think it's wrong to lie if you're trying to save your family.

Brooke: How could you be so cruel?

Stephanie: Oh, come on, Brooke. You sleep with anyone and everyone, just because it makes you feel good. Eric, Ridge, Thorne, Deacon -- I mean, the list goes on and on. But that's over. At least as far as my family is concerned. Because Taylor is home.

Brooke: Yes, Taylor is home. But there's something that's different now, Stephanie. Ridge and I have R.J. And you'd be wise to never forget it.

Stephanie: I wish I could. I wish I could magically find another mother for him.

Brooke: But you can't! No matter what you may feel about me! You can not find another mother, because he came from me. From my womb. From Ridge. And this is our destiny.

Stephanie: You know what destiny is? Real destiny? Taylor coming back. Taylor returning to rRidge and their children. So you can take your destiny and stuff it.

Brooke: God, why do you want to hurt me so bad? R.J. was conceived in love.

Stephanie: You're right. He does make a difference in the equation, doesn't he? And I do want what's best for him. I happen to believe what's best for him is a stable home and two loving devoted parents.

Brooke: Well, thank you, yes. Thank you. Ridge and I are wonderful parents.

Stephanie: You know, when you were married to Eric, I thought for a long time that you were a good mother. I thought that you would always, always be very protective of your children. Never use them. But I was certainly wrong, wasn't I. You used Bridget and you used Rick whenever it was convenient for you. And I know that you will do the same thing with this little baby. So, you know what I think? I think you should just step aside and let Ridge and Taylor raise this baby.

Thomas: Come on, Bridget, we've never had any secrets. We should talk about this. Get everything out in the open.

Bridget: I know, I know. But it's not our decision to make. We should just wait and see what they decide. And we'll support them in that.

Thomas: Bridget, everyone's living in separate rooms. That can't be the way it stays. Somebody is gonna have to leave.

Bridget: Well, I completely agree with you, but it may not be my mom.

Thomas: No, wait. It was mom and dad's home together first.

Bridget: I know it was. But my mom and Rdge have been together for a long time now. They have R.J. and Hope thinks of Ridge as her dad.

Thomas: But Phoebe and Steffy and I -- we lost a lot of time with mom. Don't you think we deserve to have that back?

Bridget: Thomas, your mom will always be a part of your lives. But you guys are practically grown now.

Thomas: Yeah, but think about what they've been through. All the years without mom. They want her back, they want her to be with dad.

Bridget: And hope and R.J. needs to grow up with a father, too. Look, I grew up without a father around most of the time. I know how painful it can be.

Thomas: Okay. Okay, I get where you're coming from. It's just -- what about mom? She practically died. Don't you think she deserve to be with dad, too? He's the man that she loves.

Gaby: I'm so sorry, mr. Forrester. I was keeping an eye on her and she wanted to see you and she ran off before I could catch her.

Ridge: That's all right, Gaby. It's all right. Come here, squirt. Come here. I know what a determined and stubborn little girl you are.

Hope: Just like mommy.

Ridge: That's right, just like mommy. But, I still need you to listen to Gaby, okay? I need you to do what she says. Okay?

Hope: Okay.

Gaby: Hey, come on. Let's go back to the pool and play with Thomas and Bridget, okay? Come on, it'll be fun. We can play hide and seek. Or I can give you a dolphin ride in the pool.

Taylor: Gaby, it's okay. Maybe she wants to stay here and visit with her daddy. It's okay with me. Do you want to stay here with -- with me and Ridge?

Gaby: Okay. I'll go get your video player, okay? Bye.

Brooke: My god, do you actually think that I'd give my son up to another woman?

Stephanie: Well, of course. Then you'll be free to sleep with whoever you want to. Be free to live the kind of life that you really like -- in the gutter. Oh, come on, Brooke. Bridget and Rick practically raised themselves while you were off about town with your scandals.

Brooke: Bridget and Rick are two of the most decent, caring people that I know.

Stephanie: In spite of you. In spite of you. For you they were just pawns in a game to hang on to one man or another. And you will do the same thing with this little baby, I know that. Unless, of course, you could show some real, genuine mother's love and let Ridge and Taylor raise him.

Brooke: What about Hope? Should I get rid of Hope, too?

Stephanie: We all love her. We want what's best for her.

Brooke: But?

Stephanie: Well, this family has no hold on her. She's your child with Deacon.

Brooke: You come in here with a smile on a face, and a cross around your neck, and you talk about morality and goodness. My god, Stephanie, if Shakespeare knew you, he could've written more tragedies.

Stephanie: And what would he have written for you, my dear? A tart sonnet? Oh, I know you dream of playing Juliet to Ridge's Romeo. But you have never been capable of a love that pure.

Brooke: And you. You don't know anything about love, because if you did you would understand what Ridge and I share. To think that I even trusted you -- somebody so mean-spirited. You know, you're right. The children do need to be protected. But not from me, Stephanie. From you. You'll never come between me and Ridge and our son. Our son! I am never leaving this house.

Bridget: Hey, I am totally agreeing with you. Both mom and Taylor love Ridge. They both want to be with him. I mean, come on, we all do.

Thomas: That's what makes the situation so difficult.

Bridget: Plus, nobody deserves to lose. Not Taylor, not my mom -- no one.

Thomas: Hey, where's Hope?

Gaby: She's with Ridge and Taylor. She interrupted them talking. I tried to get her to come back with me, but she wouldn't let go of your dad's leg.

Bridget: She's sensing that something's up.

Thomas: I don't want Hope to get hurt.

Bridget: I know you don't. I don't want you hurt either or Phoebe, or Steffy.

Thomas: Well, unless we can clone dad, there's no solution. Is there, Bridget?

Brooke: You talk about the pain that I've inflicted. You've manipulated your husband and your children for years. They run from you. You know why? They see the truth in your eyes, the emptiness, the meanness. Just take a look in the mirror. I've had to help Ridge fend you off for years. Stephanie, rRidge and I love each another. And we love our children. Whether you want to understand that or not.

Stephanie: And I think that Ridge loves Taylor and their children more than you.

Brooke: Decisions have to be made. And Ridge and I will make those, as husband and wife.

Stephanie: Taylor is his wife, bBrooke.

Brooke: I will not let you use her to settle old scores with me! This is our home. Ridge's and mine. I have faith in our love and in our marriage, and in our ability to be good parents. So no matter what you might say or do, Stephanie, Ridge will never turn his back on me and our children.

Stephanie: You do have a baby with Ridge. And he is going to have to choose. And I believe that he's going to chose a woman that would never betray him. We both know that that means Taylor.

Ridge: I'm sorry about the interruption.

Taylor: Don't apologize. Thomas was able to voice his opinion about what he thought about all of this and it's not that easy for Hope and R.J.

Ridge: Kinda takes a different tact, doesn't it?

Taylor: Hope feels that I'm pulling you away from her.

Ridge: Which is why she won't leave my side.

Taylor: Children can sense things. Even more than we realize.

Ridge: I just don't want to hurt her. I don't want to damage this perfect little child. Oh, god, it would kill me if I did. She finally has someone she can count on. I'm her daddy. The one that wakes her up in the morning, fixes her oatmeal and bananas for breakfast, drives her to school. When she kisses me good-bye she says, "I love you, Daddy." How do I keep giving her that sense of security -- that unconditional love -- when I feel like my own heart is being torn in half? Keeping a relationship alive.

Taylor: Ridge, you wouldn't be the man I loved if you didn't love that little girl. I understand how much you love her and you love R.J. That's the same love I see that you have for our children. I just -- I just feel so badly that I'm the reason -- that I complicated everything. But still, I can't deny that I want you to be my husband again.

Ridge: I don't want to let anyone down.

Taylor: I know you don't. It's not in you to be able to.

Ridge: Yeah, well, there was a time when I thought it was in me. I let everyone down. Oh, Doc, when we thought you had died, I tried like hell to keep the kids from feeling lost -- from having them be defeated by life before they'd even had a chance to jump into it fully. There was a time when you left us that I thought that maybe I was the one that was responsible for it. That I could have done something more to save you.

Taylor: Sweetheart --

Ridge: The kids never made me feel like that. It was just all the stuff that they were going through --

Taylor: Well, I can tell you the children were angry at you. They cherish you. You're their father, they love you dearly.

Ridge: Now I'm gonna hurt someone --either our children or R.J. and Hope. Taylor, I know I made commitments -- to you -- but I also made them to Brooke. I married her. She and I have a child together.

Taylor: You did what you thought you had to do at the time.

Ridge: I just want to make sure you really know that.

Taylor: I do. I do, I know. Still, I just -- I can't deny that I want to be with you. I want to be with you. I don't want to say anything other than that.

Ridge: Oh, god, Taylor. Help me. Because I really don't know what to do right now.

Taylor: Ridge, we've gotten through our share of tough times. And we're going to get through this one. Sweetheart, if you want to do what's best for the children, and you want to do what's best for all of us, you have to do what's best for you. You have to listen to your heart. It's your heart that will lead you back home.

Brooke: It's ironic that you talk about love and you clearly know nothing about it.

Stephanie: Well, certainly not your idea of it.

Brooke: You use it as a tool to manipulate, to grab more power.

Stephanie: And what do you do? You throw on a teddy and wiggle your -- so that you can steal someone's husband or brother or son-in-law.

Brooke: You're still so jealous of me.

Stephanie: No, I'm not, Brooke. I'm disappointed in you. I've always been so disappointed in your adolescent idea of love. If you are sexually fulfilled, then all is right with the world. There's no real meaning to it. There's nothing sacred in it for you.

Brooke: Stephanie, you just can't relate to what I feel, to what I have. So you have to push me down, you have to just push me out of the family? Okay, maybe I did love too much.

Stephanie: Well, that's the first honest thing you've said.

Brooke: And I got myself into a lot of trouble. Yes, I could have been wiser. But you say that Taylor's return is a victory for morality. Well, where is the morality in asking a mother to give up her own son?!

Stephanie: I want your son to be raised by someone who's emotionally mature, someone who has principles and ethics.

Brooke: Go to hell. I will never turn my back on my children or my husband!

Stephanie: Oh, really? You've done it so many times before.

Brooke: Go ahead, spread your poison. Extract your revenge. That's what everybody expects from you anyway. The only thing that doesn't change is what Ridge and I feel about each other.

Stephanie: And what do you think ridge really feels about you? He'd never of married you in the first place if he hadn't thought Taylor was dead.

Brooke: Ridge is my husband and R.J. Is our son. And the words of an angry old bitch will not control our lives. You will not kick me out of my house and you will not take my children's father from me. So help me, god.
