Ridge: Morgan said I fell off a barstool, but I just don't remember.

Brooke: I can't believe it. Everything that you're telling me. Another concussion? Were you able to remember anything?

Ridge: Just flashes, I guess. I couldn't really put anything together from it, though. I don't know, I didn't mean anything, I didn't know where it was coming from but I could feel that I belonged someplace else. I could feel this pull to someone that needed me. That I needed. I finally realized that that was you and our kids. Our life together.

Brooke: We need you, too, Ridge.

Ridge: I'm so sorry.

Brooke: No. No, I'm the one who's sorry. I never should have kicked you out of the house that night.

Ridge: You know what, I don't even remember that. I don't remember why or anything. I guess it's just as well, because that doesn't really matter now, does it?

Brooke: You told me that I had lost faith in you.

Ridge: Well, if you had, you would've given up on me. But you didn't.

Brooke: I couldn'tT. I don't know what I would do without you.

Ridge: You're never going to have to find out. Because nothing is ever going to take me away from my family again.

Brooke: Well, first, you have to come home.

Ridge: Yeah. I don't want to get off the phone with you.

Brooke: Me neither.

Ridge: I just want to hold you in my arms.

Brooke: Well, Massimo should be there soon. He's going to bring you back on the Marone jet.

Ridge: Yeah, I guess I'll be home sometime tomorrow. I want to hug the kids. Call the girls. And I want to take you and carry you into the bedroom and not come out for a week.

Brooke: A week?

Ridge: Yes, a week. I think we have a lot to catch up on.

Brooke: Well, I guess you are getting some of your memory back.

Ridge: I love you, Logan.

Brooke: I love you, too.

Chuck: You want me to close this place down?

Nick: One night, that's all I'm asking.

Chuck: No way.

Nick: As a favor to your best customer.

Chuck: If you see him, tell him to give me a call. I'll think about it.

Nick: Hey, you should put my name on a plaque on that barstool.

Chuck: That's right. It's all you can eat wing night. The place is usually packed.

Corky: Come on, Chuck, she's a dame. Where's your sense of romance?

Chuck: I ain't closing down my place for the flavor of the month.

Nick: Hey!

Corky: Whoa, I think you hit a nerve.

Nick: I want the place for a night. Either you give it to me or I buy it tomorrow.

Corky: Whoa. This is serious. Who is she?

Nick: Bridget Forrester. You've seen her in here a few times.

Corky: Cute, little blonde number? Nice.

Nick: Now, this is very important. And I'm going to make a very special evening for her. And you two barnacles are gonna help me.

Amber: Ridge, you okay?

Ridge: Yeah. So much is coming back to me.

Amber: You remember?

Ridge: Well, not specifics. But the sound of Brooke's voice was like --

Amber: Home?

Ridge: Yeah, exactly.

Amber: Yeah. I know, I've been there.

Ridge: With my son, right? Isn't that what you said? I didn't approve? Why didn't I?

Amber: You had your reasons. Look, Ridge, I know at some point in time you're going to realize how much you hate me and why, but for now can we just enjoy the peace, hmm?

Massimo: Hold it. Hold it right there, Amber. She is the woman responsible for kidnapping my son.

Amber: No, no, no, no. I didn't do anything! Get your hands off of me. What are you doing?

Police Officer: Are you Amber Moore?

Amber: Yes, but I didn't kidnap anybody.

Massimo: Ridge? Ridge, thank god I found you. Are you all right?

Ridge: I'm fine.

Massimo: Brooke told me what happened. She called me as soon as Amber contacted her.

Amber: Hey, hey, hey, that's my passport. You can't do this. Stop them. Come on, you have to. They got this all wrong.

Police Officer: We have some questions.

Amber: Well, and I'll tell you right now, this is a mistake.

Ridge: Wait, wait, what are you doing?

Police Officer: This woman has been accused of abducting you.

Ridge: She didn't do anything. Call them off, will you? I mean it, call them off. Amber Moore is innocent.

Brooke: I don't know why I'm crying. I'm just so happy.

Bridget: Yeah. You've got to stop. You've got me crying, too.

Brooke: I'm just so relieved. I can't tell you.

Bridget: You don't have to, Mom, I know.

Brooke: I was so worried. I didn't know where Ridge was. What would happen to us.

Bridget: And he really doesn't remember anything?

Brooke: No. Everything's still pretty fuzzy.

Bridget: And you're sure that Amber has nothing to do with this?

Brooke: Amber. Oh, my god, I forgot to call Massimo. He still thinks that Amber kidnapped Ridge.

Bridget: Oh, wait, no, I talked to Jackie while you were on the phone with Ridge, and he's already left the plane. He's probably with Ridge and Amber right now.

Brooke: Oh, okay, so Ridge will explain to Massimo.

Bridget: Yeah, I think Ridge is the one that needs the recap. It's just so weird that you've been so worried and Ridge has been totally oblivious.

Brooke: Well, not totally. He did feel something. Like he belonged somewhere else.

Bridget: Just like you've always known that he would never abandon you.

Brooke: Right. I never lost faith in him. And you and nick, you really helped out a lot, with the children, with everything.

Bridget: Of course, Mom, we were glad to help out.

Brooke: And you did. A lot. Thank you.

Bridget: I think it helped us, too. I guess, a crisis can really bring people together.

Brooke: You and Nick got closer?

Bridget: Yeah. He really opened up to me. The other night we at dinner, he started talking about family and kids and -- I'm pretty sure he'd given up on that idea until now.

Brooke: Wow.

Bridget: Yeah.

Brooke: Well, I guess this is getting pretty serious.

Bridget: Yeah. I'm -- I'm in love with him, Mom.

Brooke: Well, that's wonderful, sweetheart. As long as he has the same feelings for you.

Bridget: He does. He told me that he loved me.

Brooke: Oh, my god. Well you deserve this, you do.

Bridget: Oh, Mom.

[ Knock on the door ]

Nick: Oh, hey.

Bridget: Hey.

Nick: You're crying. You're both crying. That's not good. Why are you crying? What is it? What happened? What's the matter?

Brooke: It's over.

Nick: What's over?

Brooke: It's Ridge. He's coming home.

Nick: Good for you. Good for you.

Ridge: My father?

Massimo: Yes, Ridge. Yes, Ridge, of course. Of course, of course. You're telling me now that you had a concussion and there are things that you still don't remember.

Ridge: No, no. Well, I know none of this is Amber's fault.

Amber: It was Morgan Dewitt. She's the one who brought him here.

Massimo: Morgan? Isn't that the woman that was obsessed with you? I thought they'd put her in a psycho ward somewhere?

Ridge: Well, apparently, she got out. I'm not real clear on a lot that's been happening with all that.

Massimo: And she forced you to come here?

Ridge: No.

Massimo: No? I mean, did you came here willingly?

Ridge: I didn't know who she was. I didn't even know who I was.

Amber: He didn't even know he had a family until I told him.

Massimo: What are you doing here?

Amber: It's just a coincidence, okay? I swear.

Ridge: That's true.

Massimo: Ridge, don't you remember the history you've had with this woman?

Ridge: No, I don't, but I know she's the reason I'm going to get my family back.

Massimo: No, no, no, look, we've got to look into this. 'Cause there are just too many coincidences, okay? Morgan brings you here, where amber very conveniently finds and rescues you.

Amber: Wait, you think I planned this?

Ridge: Massimo, she was as shocked as you were to find me here with Morgan.

Amber: I had nothing to do with this. In fact, I don't even know how it happened.

Massimo: How did it happen?

Ridge: I was at Cafe Russe. I fell and hit my head, Morgan was there. She made it seem like we were together. Like she already had this trip planned.

Massimo: Demonic.

Ridge: Anyway, in Morgan's mind, this was her way of kind of reliving our past? And the more she tried to convince me that my family had turned their backs on me, the more I felt like someone was waiting for me. The feeling was so strong. Especially when I heard that song.

Massimo: Song? What song?

Ridge: Please don't laugh, but I think the name of it is "Unforgettable"?

Amber: Hold on a second.

Brooke: We're still not sure exactly how Ridge lost his memory.

Bridget: Well, it's not that uncommon with a serious concussion.

Nick: But this big bear thing was months ago. This doesn't make sense.

Bridget: He must've hit his head again. That's why it's so important to be careful with a concussion like this. You know, another blow to the head could cause internal bleeding, bleeding in the brain or memory loss, personality changes. I mean, this is really dangerous.

Nick: I punched him. The last time we were together. He mentioned you. I got pretty heavy.

Brooke: You hit Ridge?

Nick: He crossed the line. I wanted to knock some sense into him and I guess I did the opposite.

Brooke: Well, that wasn't your fault.

Nick: Well, I had no idea something like this could happen --

Bridget: Well, of course, you didn't.

Brooke: No, it was Morgan Dewitt. She's the one who took him to Venice, and she's the one who told him that our marriage was over.

Nick: Well, that must've been the woman that he was at Cafe Russe with then.

Brooke: What are you talking about?

Nick: The bartender mentioned something.

Brooke: To Eric and Stephanie?

Nick: No, to me and the old man.

Brooke: You never told me.

Nick: We didn't know the whole story. Now we do.

Bridget: Look, it's probably good that he didn't, mom. It could've really upset you.

Nick: For no reason.

Brooke: You were protecting me?

Nick: From nothing. Ridge wasn't cheating on you.

Brooke: And he didn't leave me.

Nick: And now, he's coming home.

Brooke: Just like you said he would. I've got to tell Hope. She's going to be so excited. And Stephanie, Eric, Thomas.

Nick: Go, you got a long list. Bridget will fill me in on the whole story. Come on.

Bridget: It's a pretty complicated story.

Nick: Is it long?

Bridget: Yeah, actually, it is kind of long.

Nick: Well, hold that thought, will you, because this is much more important.

Nick: You know what I think?

Bridget: Hmm?

Nick: I think your mom's kind of excited.

Bridget: Well, yeah. Aren't you?

Nick: Well, not really. I knew he'd come back.

Bridget: Well, she did, too. She was just a little worried. You know what? She never lost faith.

Nick: Well, that's something special.

Bridget: Yeah, it is. You know, it's funny. Like growing up here, I -- I never really understood it. She just always thought that she and ridge belonged together. There was never a question in her mind. Ridge was just the one.

Nick: How does that feel to you? Does it sound corny or -- ?

Bridget: I don't know. I just never experienced anything like it -- until now. It kind of gives you hope, huh, seeing that devotion.

Nick: Just in time, too.

Bridget: Oh, I don't think mom was gonna give up.

Nick: No, no, no. Not your mom. I'm talking about you. It's just in time. So now you can relax and sort of be who you are. So, looking forward to tomorrow night?

Bridget: Tomorrow?

Nick: Yeah, tomorrow. We have plans, a date, remember?

Bridget: Oh, was that tomorrow night?

Nick: Yeah, it was. You saying you forgot?

Bridget: Geez, I'm so sorry. I -- you know, I just, with everything going on, it just kind of slipped my mind. I hope you didn't go to too much trouble. I kind of made other plans.

Nick: Oh. Be ready at 7:00.

Bridget: Well, what do you have planned? No, you have to tell me. I have to know what to wear.

Nick: As little as possible.

Bridget: Are you gonna give me a hint?

Nick: You'll like it.

Bridget: I like being with you wherever we are.

Nick: Well, you'll like this even more.

Bridget: Why?

Nick: 'Cause it's gonna be a night you'll never forget.

Ridge: What are you doing?

Amber: "Unforgettable" is your song, Ridge -- yours and Brooke's. And I -- I think I might have it here on my library. And I thought, you know, if you heard it once and it jogged your memory -- well, here we go. Ready?

[ "Unforgettable" plays ]
