[ Knock on door ]

Nick: You got a lead on Ridge?

Massimo: I've got something. Dominick, I want you to meet Ken. He's the bartender at Cafe Russe.

Bartender: Hey.

Nick: Ken. So, I understand you know something about the disappearance of Ridge Forrester, right?

Bartender: Like I told his family, Mr. Forrester was already drunk when he showed up at the bar. He could barely sit up.

Nick: Did you serve him?

Bartender: No.

Massimo: But you weren't completely honest with the Forresters.

Bartender: I'm a bartender. I see a lot of stuff my customers don't want everybody to know about.

Nick: You know that he's missing?

Bartender: His business is still his business.

Nick: Right. So, did he tell you anything?

Bartender: Nothing. But he got friendly with somebody else.

Massimo: A woman.

Bartender: He left the bar with her.

Massimo: Can you describe her?

Bartender: Tall. Redhead. Knockout.

Nick: Anything else?

Bartender: I only saw them on their way out. I didn't really get a good look at her.

Massimo: All right, Ken, listen -- you've been very helpful. Thank you very much.

Bartender: Hope you find him.

Massimo: Okay.

Nick: A woman?

Massimo: You didn't know anything about this?

Nick: Did you?

Massimo: I have no idea what it means.

Nick: Well, it just can't be what it sounds like.

Massimo: If it is -- I'll be very disappointed in Ridge.

Brooke: You heard something? Did you find something out about Ridge?

****************************************************************************

Ridge: Oh, don't force it. My memory will come back. It has to.

Morgan: This is the night I have been praying for. I don't need you forever, Ridge. Just one perfect night. You give me a child. And I'll give you back to your family.

Ridge: Wow.

Morgan: Perfect timing. You're up.

Ridge: Been up for awhile.

Morgan: Couldn't sleep?

Ridge: Oh, just thinking.

Morgan: Come here. And let me fill that head with happy thoughts.

Ridge: Are we celebrating?

Morgan: No, we're moving on. Now that you've put Brooke behind you, we can have time to concentrate on each other.

*************************************************************************

Caitlin: Hey, did the Andersons get a ride home?

Thomas: Grandpa took them home.

Caitlin: Maybe we should clean some of this stuff up?

Thomas: You know, I think we should give them some privacy.

Caitlin: Yeah, Gabrielle looks really upset.

Thomas: Her mom just died. She's gonna be upset for awhile.

Gabrielle: I'm sorry.

**********************************************************************

Stephanie: Oh, Gabi, don't apologize.

Gabrielle: I just thought I'd be okay. But everything you said --

Stephanie: No, no. I'm sorry. Because the last thing that I intended was to upset you.

Gabrielle: It's true, though. Everything you said. My mom made so many sacrifices for me. I had this fantasy in my head -- everything I would do for her, when I got out of school. I would -- I would buy her a big house. With a garden, and roses. You know, back home she was famous for her roses.

Stephanie: Just before the accident, I told you that she was talking about you. And she said she had no regrets. No regrets about, you know, leaving -- leaving her family and coming here so you could have opportunities. She was really proud of that. And proud of you. You were her everything.

Gabrielle: I should go. Thank you for being so good to my mother.

Stephanie: Gabi, how are you going to take care of yourself? I can't just let you walk out of my home and not know what's going to happen to you.

Gabrielle: I don't know what I'm going to do yet.

Stephanie: Well that's why I'm concerned.

Gabrielle: Don't be.

Stephanie: I think your mother would want me to look out for you.

Gabrielle: I'll manage, okay?

Stephanie: Gabi -- did your mother have a will? Was there an insurance policy?

Gabrielle: No.

Stephanie: See, that's whyI concerned. Eric and I want to make sure that you have what you need to go to college.

Gabrielle: Look, you don't have to do that.

Stephanie: Well, we feel that we do. And I think that this will help you get started at any school that you're accepted at.

Gabrielle: Oh, I can't take this.

Stephanie: Why not? Your mother's dream was for you to go to college. I want to make sure that you can.

Gabrielle: I know you mean well, Mmrs. Forrester. But I cannot take that.

Stephanie: Please.

Gabrielle: I don't want it.

Thomas: Grandma, could I see you for a second?

Stephanie: Now?

Thomas: Yes, please.

Stephanie: Excuse me for a minute, Gabi. What is it, Tom?

*******************************************************************

Thomas: Look, Gabrielle is under a lot of stress.

Stephanie: Is that what you came to tell me?

Thomas: I know what she's going through. Maybe I could help.

Stephanie: All right, thank you.

************************************************************************

Massimo: Yes, Brooke. New information is coming in on Ridge already.

Nick: Speculation, though. We really don't know what it means.

Brooke: If you have something, I would like to know what it is.

Massimo: Believe me, if we have anything credible, you'll be the first to know.

Employee: Mr. Marone, we've tracked Ridge's cell phone to a European satellite relay.

Brooke: Europe?

Massimo: Okay. Can you narrow it down to a country?

Employee: We're working on it.

Massimo: All right, have the jet fueled immediately. And tell the pilot to log a transatlantic flight. And I'll give him the final destination as soon as you get it for me.

Employee: Yes, sir.

Brooke: I want to go with you.

Nick: No. No, no, no. You stay here with your family. I'll go.

Massimo: No, no, no, no. Listen, I've got this under control. Okay? I think it wiser, Dominick, if you stay here with Brooke. I'm going to go get him. In a few days, Ridge is going to be home.

Brooke: He went all the way to Europe. He was trying to put as much distance between us as possible. Why would he do that?

*********************************************************************

Ridge: Morgan, this looks amazing.

Morgan: I ordered all your favorites. Prosecco?

Ridge: Oh, please let me. Thank you for all of this. For everything.

Morgan: My pleasure.

Ridge: For bringing me here. Arranging for me to see a doctor. And to see Brooke. You've been really incredible.

Morgan: I just want you to be happy. Like we used to be. You see, Brooke never made you happy. But I did. And I will again. Please, Ridge -- let me make you happy.

**************************************************************

Caitlin: Oh, is everything all right, Mrs. Forrester?

Stephanie: Well, I'm -- I'm worried about Gabi.

Caitlin: Yeah. Well, she's doing better than I would be. I mean, it's a lot to deal with, losing your mom like that.

Stephanie: It is, Ii know. And she's going to have a lot more to deal with, you know, legally and financially and -- well, Eric and I -- Eric and I wanted to pay for her college. I offered to do that and she's turned me down.

Caitlin: I don't think that's the kind of help she needs right now.

*******************************************************************************

Gabrielle: Please don't ask me how I'm doing.

Thomas: I'm not gonna.

Gabrielle: Or tell me how sorry you are.

Thomas: Can I at least apologize for my grandma? She can be a little pushy sometimes.

Gabrielle: She was just trying to be nice.

Thomas: Yeah, too nice. Her and everybody else, right?

Gabrielle: It's not that I'm ungrateful, okay?

Thomas: Yeah, they just don't really know where you're at.

Gabrielle: How can they? I don't even know where I'm at.

Thomas: Kind of like being underwater. Everything seems kind of muffled and heavy. Like somebody tied a boulder to your leg and tossed you in.

Gabrielle: I just want to go to bed and when I wake up it will all be a bad dream.

Thomas: But it's not.

Gabrielle: No.

Thomas: And that's the worst part. Even more so than being angry.

Gabrielle: I'm not really angry, Thomas. I -- I mean, not at my mom. It's just really unfair.

Thomas: It's never gonna be fair.

Gabrielle: How do you know so much?

Thomas: Because I've been through the same thing. My mother died, too.

**********************************************************************

Brooke: Nick, if you know something -- something that Massimo wouldn't say? Is Ridge is trouble?

Nick: Not yet. I feel bad about this. I'm sorry. This whole situation's wrong.

Brooke: I never should have kicked him out of the house.

Nick: This is not your fault.

Brooke: I drove him away.

Nick: No! Now, this is on him. You asked him to come back. You wanted to work this out. Don't forget that.

Brooke: And you think we still can? Nick?

Nick: The old man will have him home soon.

Brooke: I hate this. I feel so helpless. No matter how hard I try to figure this out, I can't. I can't think of anything -- anything -- that would keep Ridge away from me and his family.

********************************************************************************

Ridge: Oh, let's -- let' not rush into this.

Morgan: Of course not. You're right. Let's just savor every minute of this perfect evening.

Ridge: The food smells great.

Morgan: Forget about the food. Let's work up an appetite.

[ Slow jazz music plays ] dance with me.

*******************************************************************************

Massimo: Captain, why aren't we taking off? What other passenger? Ah, all right. Hold until I clear you for takeoff. Jacqueline, what are you doing here?

Jackie: I'm going with you.

***************************************************************************

Gabrielle: You were really young when your mom died, right?

Thomas: Not young enough. I mean, my sisters were so young, they didn't understand what was happening. Or what it meant. But I did.

Gabrielle: Do you still miss her?

Thomas: I miss her every day.

Gabrielle: Do you ever think that --

Thomas: What?

Gabrielle: That maybe she's still around? Watching you? Last night I couldn't sleep. I was crying. I was tossing and turning. And right before I dozed off I felt, like something -- like somebody -- tucking me in. And it really, really felt like her.

Thomas: It was her.

Gabrielle: Really? You think so?

Thomas: Yeah. My mom -- my mom has these ways of telling me things. I've never told anyone that before.

Gabrielle: I really still need her. I still need her.

Thomas: I know.

Gabrielle: I still really need her.

*************************************************************************

Massimo: I am going to Europe to find Rridge. This is not a pleasure trip, Jacqueline.

Jackie: I realize that.

Massimo: I have an awful lot to do in a very short time.

Jackie: I want to help.

Massimo: Dominick said the same thing. And I told him to stay here and to support Brooke.

Jackie: Well, I'm here to support you. I realize how much Ridge and his family mean to you, Massimo. I'm going to help you bring him home.

*********************************************************************

Nick: Forrester would be a fool to lose you.

Brooke: I'm the one who feels foolish. My father-in-law had to fly to Europe because Ridge and I had a fight.

Nick: Well, if this is all about Ridge's temper, I hope to god the old man leaves him there.

Brooke: No, I don't think that's what this is.

Nick: Neither do I.

Brooke: You feel it too, don't you? I've been anxious ever since Ridge left. And it's been days. I've gotten e-mails and I've gotten phone calls. But that feeling just won't go away.

Nick: Well, let's not ignore one thing -- that unbreakable connection the two of you have. Now, if anybody knows, it's me. So you've had a few problems. You guys are apart. You don't have the answers you want. But that connection is always going to be there. Always.

Brooke: You always know what to say to make me feel better.

Nick: Is it working?

Brooke: Yeah. Yeah, never fails.

Nick: Oh, good.

Brooke: I don't know what I would've done without you this week.

Nick: Well, listen, Forrester's going to come to his senses. And he's going to say, "I've got a great gal there." And then he'll be home.

************************************************************************

[ Jazz music plays ]

Morgan: You're still a good dancer.

Ridge: We've done this before.

Morgan: You remember?

Ridge: No, not really. Still, there's something familiar about it.

[ "Unforgettable" plays ]

Morgan: What's wrong?

Ridge: This song --

Morgan: You don't like it? I can turn it off.

Ridge: No, no, no. It's okay. I remember something. A woman. I was dancing with her.

*********************************************************************

Brooke: Come home, Ridge. You have to come back to me.

**********************************************************

[ "Unforgettable" plays ]

Ridge: I remember. She's right there. A woman. I know her. I know her. She's so familiar. Who is it? Who is she?
