Brooke: Ridge, I know you're upset. But I voted my conscience.

Ridge: You voted against me.

Brooke: For the good of the family.

Ridge: How is it good for the family, Brooke? Mother and dad are still pandering to Thorne. They consider me the enemy now.

Brooke: And that's what I wanted to stop.

Ridge: But you reinforced that. Your vote says you agree with them.

Brooke: No, it doesn't say that. I don't think you're the enemy, and I think you're the best thing that could ever happen to this company.

Ridge: Ever since I was a kid, Brooke, I've wanted to run this company. And now is the time. They need me now more than ever. You know that.

Brooke: Yes.

Ridge: Well, then how could you vote against me? How could you stop me from something that I needed for myself, for the company, and for this family? I want to understand why you did this.

[ Knock on door ]

Nick: Excuse me. Excuse me. I'm looking for my father. I don't know where he would be. Maybe rehab, something?

Orderly: I'm not sure. I'll check with the doctor.

Nick: Thank you. Thank you very much.

Dr. Ying: Oh, Nick.

Nick: What's going on? Where's my father?

Dr. Ying: I have a nurse checking on that.

Nick: You don't know?

Dr. Ying: It's possible that Dr. Whittman ordered some more tests.

Nick: How long has he been gone?

Dr. Ying: I assure you, he is not gone. Your father is somewhere in this clinic.

*********************************************************************

Driver: You doin' okay back there?

[ Massimo remembers ]

Deacon: Lights are on but nobody's home, huh, pal? I don't want you to worry about a thing. Because, you know, now that I'm here, I'm gonna take care of everything. And I do mean everything.

Massimo: Faster.

Driver: You don't look so good, buddy. Maybe I should take you back to the clinic.

Massimo: No, no. Home. Rose briar.

Driver: Okay, man. Just take it easy. We're almost there.

**********************************************************************************

Jackie: I'm sorry, Deacon. I can't. Not yet.

Deacon: Jackie, what's the matter?

Jackie: It's just a feeling.

Deacon: Is it a guilt feeling? A sense of obligation?

Jackie: I don't know, but it's definitely strong enough to let me know that I'm not ready.

Deacon: I thought you were moving on.

Jackie: I am, but -- moving in with you? That's a different issue.

Deacon: It's only an issue if you choose to make it one.

Jackie: This isn't a rejection. I'm not saying that I don't want to be with you. It's just that I can't be with you -- not like that. Not while Massimo in this condition. It wouldn't be right.

Deacon: So, you need more time.

Jackie: Yes.

Deacon: Okay, you've got it. We have all the time in the world, don't we?

***********************************************************************

Driver: We're on Rose Briar place. Is this your street?

Massimo: Yeah, yes.

Driver: What's the house number?

Massimo: There. There -- it is. There.

*********************************************************************************************************

Ridge: Logan, you know what this vote meant to me.

Brooke: You think I've betrayed you. Ridge, what would've happened if I'd voted with you?

Ridge: I'd be CEO of Forrester Creations.

Brooke: And you and Thorne would be at each other's throats. Eric would be furious. Stephanie would be on the warpath. And it would be chaos. The reason you went overseas for all those weeks was to clear up the confusion about Forrester. To reassuring the buyers, to calm the press. Now, why would you want to throw Forrester back into that turmoil? For an executive shakeup? What kind of message would that send?

Ridge: I just wanted your support.

Brooke: And I told you I had concerns.

Ridge: Well, you didn't tell me you were going to shoot me down, Logan.

Brooke: Ridge, that's not what this is about.

Ridge: Then why is dad still in charge?

Brooke: So you want me to apologize? Just tell you how sorry I am?

Ridge: You've already done that.

Brooke: And, obviously, that didn't work. So, what do you want now, Ridge? Tell me. Do you want a wife who goes along with everything that you say? A wife who agrees with everything that you do? A wife like Darla? "Yes, Ridge. Okay, Ridge. Whatever you say, Ridge."

Ridge: Yes.

Brooke: Yes?

Ridge: Yes, Brooke. Right now, that's exactly what I want.

*****************************************************************************************

Nick: He's still not here.

Dr. Ying: I spoke to Dr. Whittman. He didn't order any more tests for your father.

Nick: Okay, well then, he should be here.

Dr. Ying: I'll check radiology again.

Nick: Make sure you check rehab!

*********************************************************************

[ Crickets chirping ]

Massimo: Home.

Driver: Need any help?

Massimo: No.

Driver: Not so fast. You gotta pay your fare. It's $27.50.

Massimo: Ah.

Driver: Thanks, man. Thanks a lot! You want me to wait?

Massimo: No. No.

*****************************************************************************

Deacon: Jackie, come on, let's go.

Jackie: Oh, just a second. I'll be there in a minute.

Deacon: Okay. I got your suitcase packed for you, it's all ready. Wow. You said you wanted to freshen up, but, uh --

Jackie: Is this fresh enough for you?

Deacon: You see, now you're just tormenting me, aren't you?

Jackie: No. No, I'm not. I'm rewarding you. For your patience.

Deacon: Jackie, you don't have to reward me for waiting for you.

Jackie: But you deserve to be.

Deacon: Well, I mean, if that's how you feel about it, I'm certainly not gonna turn my back on a reward, so, uh --

Jackie: I just want you to know -- this isn't going to change our relationship, just because I won't take off my ring.

Deacon: Okay. But, you know, if you keep rewarding me like this -- sooner or later, I'm not gonna be able to put on the brakes.

[ Jackie chuckles ]

Jackie: You got to try until we get to the beach house.

Deacon: I am trying. I am trying.

Jackie: Well, try harder.

Deacon: I'm trying hard, believe me. I'm trying hard. But the way you look. The way you smell. Jackie, I want you right now.

Jackie: I can't. Not here.

Deacon: You can't what? You can't make love?

Jackie: Exactly. Not in this house.

Deacon: Okay. That doesn't mean that I can't do this. Or I can't do this.

[ Jackie chuckles ] You know what, I'm just going to keep going on until you stop me. How's that, huh?

**************************************************************************************

[ Crickets chirping ]

[ Massimo panting ]

Massimo: Unlocked. Oh.

[ Massimo panting ] Jacqueline -- I'm home.

[ Massimo panting ]

Massimo: Jacqueline. I've worked so -- so hard to come back. Where are -- where are you?

****************************************************************************************

Dr. Ying: Thank you. I'll get back to you.

Nick: Did they find him?

Dr. Ying: Not yet.

Nick: Well, he couldn't have gotten out of here.

Dr. Ying: Mr. Marone, this is a research clinic. Our patients are admitted voluntarily. There's nothing keeping him from leaving.

Nick: Voluntarily? What are we talking about here? This man could barely walk a few days ago.

Dr. Ying: Your father has made remarkable progress. Every day, he's getting stronger.

Nick: I understand he's getting stronger! But the fact is, you've lost him! The job of this clinic is to take care of that man.

Dr. Ying: We're doing everything we can. We'll find him.

*******************************************************************

[ Massimo panting ]

Massimo: I did this for you. I -- I'm here. For you.

[ Massimo panting ]

***********************************************************************************

Jackie: No.

Deacon: Just listen. I'm just tryin' to get a little bit of clarification.

Jackie: Okay. Is this clear enough? No.

Deacon: No. So that would mean, what? No -- no kissing? No -- no kissing your neck?

Jackie: No, no.

Deacon: No kissing your lips?

Jackie: No kissing at all.

Deacon: I can't even get a little peck?

[ Jackie sighs ]

Jackie: No.

Deacon: Oh, come on, this is ridiculous. Okay, look -- I'm really -- I wanna -- sorry. I wanna follow the rules, I do. But your not being clear with me, you've gotta be a little more specific.

Jackie: Okay.

Deacon: Okay.

Jackie: No.

Deacon: No. So I just -- there's no kissing?

Jackie: No.

Deacon: There's no touching at all, that's out of question, okay. There's no -- what about this?

Jackie: No.

Deacon: That's not good, either?

Jackie: Out of the question. No, I mean it. That is enough, okay? One more time, you're in trouble.

Massimo: Jacqueline?

********************************************************************************************************

Brooke: Are you serious? You want a wife who always agrees with you?

Ridge: What's wrong with that?

Brooke: Well, for one thing, that's not the kind of woman that you married.

Ridge: People can change.

Brooke: If that's how you feel, then you certainly have.

Ridge: Just try it, Brooke. Try saying yes to whatever I say. Four easy questions --

[ Brooke scoffs ]

Brooke: This is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard.

Ridge: You can't do it, can you? It's not gonna kill you. I'll even make it easy for you. Say "yes" to the next four things I say. "Yes, Ridge" to whatever I say. Brooke -- would you come over here?

Brooke: Yes, Ridge.

Ridge: Brooke -- would you put your arms around me?

Brooke: Yes, Ridge.

Ridge: Would you look me in the eyes?

Brooke: Yes, Ridge.

Ridge: Would you kiss me -- and forgive me for being such an idiot?

Brooke: Yes, Ridge.

Ridge: All kidding aside -- I was disappointed the way things turned out. I still am. But I realize what a difficult position you were in. I saw the way mother was pressuring you and all.

Brooke: I didn't do it because she told me to.

Ridge: Believe me, I know that. No one makes up your mind for you. That's why I fell in love with you, Logan. You're a little spitfire. You always have been. And I don't want that to change.

Brooke: Even if we disagree sometimes.

Ridge: Absolutely. I just think we should be open about it from now on. There's no reason for us to have to walk on eggshells around each other. Our marriage can survive any disagreement whatsoever, right?

Brooke: I think we've just proven that. And someday, you're gonna prove yourself as Forrester's CEO. Because it's going to happen. And when it does, there's no doubt in my mind that you're gonna be the best CEO Forrester's ever had.

Ridge: You really think so?

Brooke: Yes, Ridge.

Ridge: Good girl.

[ Brooke chuckles ]

**********************************************************************************

Dr. Ying: Nick. That's it. I've called every department. No one has seen your father.

Nick: You lost my father.

Dr. Ying: Nick, I'm sorry. I'm afraid your father is missing.

*******************************************************************************

Brooke: Hmm. You know for a minute there, I wasn't sure you'd be able to get past it.

Ridge: You're not the only one. The way Nick was acting earlier?

Brooke: He was just concerned about us.

Ridge: He was concerned about you. I think captain Ahab was a little disappointed that we were able to patch things up.

Brooke: If anybody's going to be disappointed, it's going to be your mother.

Ridge: Why can't everyone realize that our relationship is indestructible, hmm?

Brooke: If they didn't know it before, we've certainly proven it this week.

[ Cell phone rings ]

Brooke: Mmm.

Ridge: It might be a from clinic on Massimo. Hello.

Nick: I need your help, Forrester.

Ridge: What's going on?

Nick: It's the old man -- he's gone.

Ridge: What do you mean he's gone?

Nick: He got out of the clinic.

Ridge: How?

Nick: I don't know. But you were the last person who spoke to him, and I need to know if you have any idea where he might've gone?

Ridge: All he said was he wanted to go home.

Nick: Want to go home. Well, we've got to find him before he finds my mother.

****************************************************************

Jackie: I'm not joking here. Stop. Will you please stop, Deacon. I mean it. Stop it now.

[ Massimo panting ]

Jackie: No, Deacon!

Massimo: No. Stop. Stop -- Deacon.
