Stephanie: Tell him it's over, amber.

Amber: Are you gonna sic the cops on me?

Thomas: No. You can't. I care about amber and she cares about me.

Amber: Thomas, don't --

Thomas: She doesn't understand.

Amber: I tried to explain it --

Stephanie: There is no explanation for what's happened here. It's unconscionable.

Thomas: Will you please just listen to my side of things?

Stephanie: Tom!

Thomas: It's not like that. I'm not in over my head, like everyone thinks. This is what I want.

Stephanie: For all the wrong reasons!

Thomas: It's not like that.

Amber: Listen, you are wasting your breath, okay? She is never going to believe this is the real thing.

Stephanie: I have not doubt that you have feelings for Amber, Tom. But you and I both know what this is really all about.

Thomas: My hormones in overdrive?

Stephanie: Partially, yes. It does cloud one's thinking every once in a while.

Thomas: Who says amber and I are having sex? Amber.

Amber: I'm sorry.

Stephanie: Why does it not surprise me that the only reason you're sorry is because you got caught.

Thomas: You have no idea what's really going on here.

Amber: Sure she does. See, she's got me all figured out. That first night when you came over to the Forrester beach house, that's when I saw my chance -- to slither back into the Forrester family. Yeah, just like Ridge said. I don't have any feelings for you. I mean, how could I? I don't have any feelings, period. I am just a cold, heartless person who preys on innocent, little rich boys. There. You satisfied? That is what you wanted your grandson to hear.

Jackie: Oh. Well, darling, that was a first.

Massimo: Oh?

Jackie: We've never made love in your office before.

Massimo: We've never made love on my yacht, either. And I intend to rectify that real -- soon.

Jackie: We're going on a trip?

Massimo: How does a romantic getaway sound to you? Any place that your heart desires. Hmm?

Jackie: You don't have to do this, you know.

Massimo: Well, of course, I don't have to do it. But that is the fun of it.

Jackie: I mean, I understand what you are trying to say. You know, with all the extravagant gifts -- most men, they would have said it with half a dozen roses, but not you, that's not your style, is it?

Massimo: Hmm-mm.

Jackie: When you want to tell a woman that you love her, that you forgive her even after all the terrible, terrible things she's done to hurt you.

Massimo: I thought we weren't going to talk about that anymore.

Jackie: Well, we have to, okay? Just one more time. Because I have to tell you how grateful I am. For the way that you're looking at me right now. You see, I never thought I'd see that look in your eye again. You had me completely convinced that you despised me.

Massimo: Yes, I know. I almost convinced myself, but you saw right through me.

Jackie: No, darling, I was a believer. Even after you invited me back into your home.

Massimo: You really thought that was for Dominick's sake?

Jackie: You were distant, Massimo.

Massimo: I'm sorry, Jacqueline.

Jackie: Oh, no, don't be. I understand. You were just trying to protect yourself. I don't blame you. That's what makes this so amazing. This show of faith in me.

Massimo: You know, I tried to hold back as long as I could.

Jackie: Don't. Don't hold back again, and I won't, either. We've both made the same mistakes, Massimo. We've hidden part of ourselves from each other. I don't want to live like that again. I never want to look in your eyes knowing that I haven't been completely truthful.

Massimo: Well, if there is anything that you feel you should tell me, now is the time.

Jackie: Oh, Massimo, there are so many things that I need to tell you. But I really think I need to continue this conversation at home, okay?

Massimo: As you wish. I have a couple of things I want to wrap up here before we leave.

Jackie: Will you be long?

Massimo: Well, with one of the most beautiful women in the world waiting for me? I think not.

[ Door shuts ]

Deacon: So did the earth move?

Jackie: Deacon, I thought you'd left.

Deacon: I wish I would've, Jackie, after what just went on in here.

Jackie: Well, what --

Deacon: No, don't, don't, don't, don't do that, all right? I know you just made love to the Italian stallion. I practically had a front row seat, Jackie, until he closed the door. You cannot go on like this. You have to tell your husband the truth, and you have to do it before it's too late.

Thomas: You are not cold and heartless. I know that. And grandma should, too.

Amber: She doesn't look real convinced.

Stephanie: Don't try to make this about me. The moment you saw where this was headed, you should've stopped it.

Thomas: She tried, but I wouldn't let her.

Stephanie: Well, she didn't try hard enough, Tom. She's the adult, that's why your father got the restraining order.

Thomas: Which was a total overreaction. Amber's not some criminal. She's a good person, and she's my best friend.

Stephanie: Oh, she's your best friend? Oh, you're his best friend? Well, best friends don't let things get out of hand. I'm telling you, it's over. You have defied his father's wishes, you've defied a court order and that's it. From this moment on, she's out of your life, period.

Jackie: What are you saying, "before it's too late"?

Deacon: You've just let Massimo make love to you and we both know that you -- look, Jackie, this is only gonna get harder --

Jackie: Unless I tell my husband about the two of us. I am well aware of that. Deacon, I have to tell him the whole truth.

Deacon: Yeah. It's going to be tough. It's going to be tough on both of you, but you got to do this. Look, he's got to know, Jackie, that you weren't happy with him. And how you only really came alive when you were with me --

Jackie: No, no, no, you don't understand.

Deacon: No, what I understand is that you still care about him, and you know what? I get it. You probably always will. But, Jackie, what you and I had --

Jackie: We will never have again.

Deacon: What are you saying?

Jackie: I don't know if my husband is going to be able to forgive me for what I've done. But if he does --

Deacon: Wait, wait, whoa, whoa, just stop. Stop right now, because if you're saying what I think you are, you're making a mistake. Huge. And I'm not going to let you do it.

Jackie: Deacon, you don't understand. I've loved Massimo practically my whole life. He's the father of my son --

Deacon: See, right there, I see where this is going. Nick is a big boy, Jackie. The guy's not gonna go to pieces just 'cause mommy and daddy go their separate ways.

Jackie: That isn't the point.

Deacon: That's exactly the point! That's why you're doing all of this.

Jackie: No! There's so much more to it than that.

Deacon: Like guilt? Tons of it? What's the deal, Jackie, to hell with your own happiness?

Jackie: Massimo makes me happy! My marriage makes me happy.

Deacon: No, no, no, no, you're playing a part. Don't you get it? And the minute you step out of line, the minute you break the rules, he's gonna come down on you!

Jackie: No, I have to believe he's gonna understand.

Deacon: Oh, oh, oh, because he was, what, so understanding last time?

Jackie: He was upset, so he lashed out at me.

Deacon: Why are you defending him?! I don't get this! What the hell, has this guy brainwashed you?

Jackie: Look, I can't live like this any more, all right? I can't live with these lies. I just can't. I don't want to be that woman!

Deacon: Then don't do it, okay? Get out. That's all I'm saying. Get out while you can.

Jackie: I don't want to get out. My husband loves me, deacon. And I love him. Look, it doesn't mean that I'm not grateful to you for being there for me when nobody else was. You were a very, very wonderful -- friend.

Deacon: "Friend." That's all I am to you now.

Jackie: Yeah. That's all you can be. I know this is hard for you, Deacon. I know it's hard. But you have to accept it. We have to accept it. For everyone's sake.

Thomas: You're making this out to be something wrong -- and dirty. It's not.

Stephanie: For you, I know it isn't. But nobody in your family agrees with you. Now doesn't that say something to you, Tom?

Thomas: Yeah. Yeah, that they don't get that I've grown up and I can make my own decisions.

Stephanie: 18 is not a magic number. That is not the issue here.

Thomas: Because you Thomas, okay? We never had a chance.

Thomas: Don't say that.

Stephanie: She's right.

Thomas: Would you just stay out of this?

Stephanie: Tom, this is not who you are. You're not this kind of person. You're not a sneak, you're not a liar. You would never go up against your father. Until Amber came into your life. Now you're trying to tell me that Amber's a good influence on you. And everything that has happened would prove just the opposite. If you and she are not mature enough to end this, I am prepared to do that. I am. And I am prepared to call lt. Baker to help me.

Amber: Stephanie, god, please, don't do this! Come on.

Stephanie: You've defied a court order. When a judge finishes with you --

Thomas: Look, stop! Okay, this is crazy!

Stephanie: I have given her a choice. You leave town and never see him again or you face the consequences.

Amber: Okay! Okay! Okay, I got the picture.

Stephanie: Then tell him.

Thomas: No, don't listen to her.

Stephanie: Tell him, Amber! I don't want to put you in jail, but you know what I promised his mother, so you know I'll do it.

Thomas: I won't let them do this to us.

Amber: They already have.

Thomas: We can't give up. I won't give up.

Amber: Thomas, you have to. Listen to me. If you don't, I am going to jail. You are so wonderful. You are so wonderful, Tomas. Thomas, listen to me -- listen. Listen to me. You're going to have such an amazing life ahead of you. You will. But it just -- it can't be with me.

Thomas: No. No.

Amber: Thomas, come on.

Thomas: No.

Amber: It can't.

Thomas: I don't want this to end.

Amber: It's got to. It's got to.

Thomas: Not like this.

Amber: Yeah.

Thomas: No.

Amber: Listen, listen. It has to be over.

Thomas: No.

Stephanie: Come on, Tom, we're going -- now.

Amber: Go, go. Oh, god.

Stephanie: Don't start feeling sorry for yourself. That's the trap you always get into. I know you. You're sitting there and you're saying to yourself, "how did this happen to me? Well, it didn't just happen. You made it happen. You pursued this. You went after it. And the truth is, you were excited about it, because you knew it was wrong. And it didn't matter about that boy. It didn't matter about him. All that mattered was that he made you feel good about yourself. For a day, a week, whatever. God, Amber. How many times -- how many times have I talked to you and tried to make you understand one simple thing. In order to feel good about yourself, you have to do the right thing in life. And you just can't seem to do that. You're always going for the quick fix. You know how much I loved you? Do you know how much I wanted you to be a success? No one in this world would've been prouder of you than I would've. Well, now you're going to have to go do it someplace else. You stay away from Tom, I mean it. Don't come near the family. Stay away. If you don't, heaven help you.

Amber: Oh, god!

Deacon: So, that's it? I'm just supposed to walk away?

Jackie: Yes.

Deacon: Do you have any idea what I'm losing here?

Jackie: Look, I'm sorry about the job. I'll try and find you --

Deacon: I'm not talking about the job, I'm talking about you. Don't you get it? No matter how many times I tell you -- Jackie, I'm in love with you!

Jackie: I'm sorry, Deacon, but --

Deacon: You choose Massimo, right? Massimo, who made your life a living hell? This guy doesn't even know you! My god, he calls you Jacqueline, like you're some kind of a society matron, all prim and proper. What the hell is that?! I love Jackie. I love Jackie who -- who drinks root beer with me and who goes boogie boarding. Who cooks that god-awful English food. And who makes love to me all night and who wakes up in my arms. Doesn't that mean anything to you?

Jackie: Good-bye, Deacon.

Deacon: Hey, Massimo -- I just came back. I wanted to thank you, you know, for the -- the job offer. It's a hell of an opportunity. It's just that, you know, I think Jackie has some very specific ideas of what she needs, and, um -- somehow, I don't think I fit the bill. Well, listen, I know you got a little work to do, so I'm just going to get out of your hair, okay?

Massimo: I gave you the opportunity.

Deacon: Yeah. Yeah, I appreciate it. You know, you brought me into your world. You gave me a chance to prove myself. I mean, hell, without you, I never would have had a shot at --

Massimo: Jacqueline. I brought you two together. You slept with her. You slept with my wife.
