Samantha: These reviews are great.

Ridge: And the orders are pouring in.

Samantha: Are these the two top sellers?

Ridge: Yeah, so far. But the whole collection's doing well.

Samantha: I know, Caitlin told me. I'm so proud of her.

Ridge: Thank you, girls. That's all for now.

Samantha: Thank you.

Ridge: There you go.

Rick: Megan said you needed an update?

Samantha: Ridge has just been telling me how well everything's going.

Rick: Better and better all the time.

Ridge: All right, let's see. Overseas numbers are excellent. Domestic? Still isn't as good we'd hoped.

Samantha: Spectra knockoffs are having an impact.

Ridge: Yeah. Yeah, we only have one person to thank for that. Our design-stealing sister-in-law.

Darla: I love you so much.

Thorne: Mm. I love you, too. But you still have to come with me.

Darla: Come on, Thorne. Please don't make me do this.

Thorne: Honey, you have nothing to be ashamed of. You didn’t mean to give Sally Ridge's designs.

Thorne: By accident.

Darla: They're not going to want to see me over there at Forrester.

Thorne: Well, they're going to see you for many, many years to come, okay? Hey -- you are a forrester, Darla, okay? Don't forget that. Now, look, we'll go in, we'll make our point that nothing's changed. And then you can start your day, okay? You're not the first to make a mistake. You know it, and they know it.

[ Knock on door ] That's the babysitter.

Nick: Hey, how's my new best friend?

Stephanie: Well, this is a surprise. Come in.

Nick: Thank you.

Stephanie: Can I offer you something?

Nick: Well, it's probably a little early in the day for getting “Pie-eyed”.

Stephanie: So, you doing all right?

Nick: Yeah, I'm doing okay.

Stephanie: Have you seen your Mother?

Nick: No, I haven't. Have you talked to your daughter lately? 'Cause I have.

Stephanie: My daughter?

Nick: Felicia. She's stopped by the Marlin a few times.

Stephanie: I didn't realize that you knew one another.

Nick: Yeah, we met the night of the wedding. Maybe you didn't notice.

Stephanie: Yeah, well I was a little preoccupied.

Nick: "Pie-eyed," Stephanie, is the word. Pie-eyed. And I see where your daughter gets her wild side.

Stephanie: She's always been a free spirit. But still, I'm quite surprised that she's still in town.

Nick: Well, she may not be for long. Which is why I'm here.

Caitlin: Hey, you came.

Thomas: I got your messages.

Caitlin: All 150 of them?

Thomas: Must have something pretty important to say.

Caitlin: I'm really sorry, Thomas.

Thomas: You said that on the phone.

Caitlin: Yeah, but I needed to say it to you. I didn't mean to hurt you.

Thomas: I understand.

Caitlin: Do you?

Thomas: Well, you couldn't tell me you had a thing for Rick, and I can see why. He's my step-brother.

Caitlin: You're angry.

Thomas: Don’t you think I have a right to be?

Caitlin: Yes, of course you do. I just -- I wish I could make you understand how important to me you are.

Thomas: Okay, you know what? You said all of this on the phone, so if that's all --

Caitlin: No. That's not all.

Stephanie: If Felicia wants to see me, or needs --

Nick: She might not.

Stephanie: She doesn't want to see me?

Nick: To be honest, Stephanie, if I asked her, she'd probably say no. Which is why I'm here, talking to you, now.

Stephanie: I don't understand.

Nick: Right. Well, I'd say your daughter's a complicated woman.

Stephanie: You don't have to tell me that.

Nick: So, you think you know her pretty well?

Stephanie: She's my child.

Nick: But you didn't even know she was still in town.

Stephanie: She's always been a bit difficult to pin down.

Nick: When's the last time you tried, Stephanie?

Stephanie: What are you getting at?

Nick: Maybe you should just answer the question.

Stephanie: Well, to be perfectly frank, our relationship has always been a bit prickly.

Nick: So you're saying she's been like this her whole life, then?

Stephanie: As I just said, she's always been a free spirit.

Nick: Ah. Is that how the whole family sees her? Kind of -- you know, the cute, fun kid? Life of the party? Because I think there's a whole lot more going on here.

Stephanie: Like what?

Nick: Well, that's for you to figure out. I like you, so I wanted to give you a heads-up.

Stephanie: Is something wrong?

Nick: This isn't my area of expertise. I just met your daughter.

Stephanie: Well, it's obviously something that's concerned you enough that you would drive all the way across town. So tell me what you know.

Nick: She had a bag of pills in her purse.

Stephanie: Pills?

Nick: Yeah, pills. They weren't aspirin. She have any history with drugs?

Stephanie: No.

Nick: Nothing in the past?

Stephanie: Never, never. Nothing that I've ever been aware of.

Nick: Well, you are now. Good luck.

Stephanie: Nick, thank you. Thank you for caring enough about her that you would come and talk to me.

Nick: I'm out of it now. You're the one she needs.

Rick: Debutante's fabric is cheaper, the production isn't as good. Everybody knows --

Ridge: Sally got the jump on us, that is what happened.

Samantha: Does it really matter all that much? It's not like you have the same clientele.

Ridge: The spotlight was supposed to be on Caitlin, not Sally. Bad press is the last thing we need right now.

Rick: Oh, I see. Now you're talking about me and Caitlin. It's okay, man. Samantha knows.

Ridge: What about Hector?

Samantha: I haven't said anything yet.

Ridge: Oh, great. You've got her lying for you now, too.

Samantha: No, I'm not lying. I'm counting on Rick to be responsible and discreet.

Ridge: Oh, like he was backstage? Maybe you didn't hear about the kiss.

Samantha: I heard about it. How's Thomas, by the way?

Ridge: We didn't know if he was coming home last night.

Rick: Well, he did come home. My Mom called me and told me.

Ridge: He's very upset at you, Rick.

Samantha: With Caitlin, too, probably. She's seeing him right now.

Rick: Now?

Thomas: The bracelet I gave you.

Caitlin: But you wouldn't have, if you'd known about me and Rick. That's why I can't accept it.

Amber: Oh, thanks.

[ Amber remembering ]

Amber: Listen, you got to go.

Thomas: Why? Why, did I do something wrong?

Amber: No, it's me. I was having some very wrong, wrong, wrong thoughts, and --

Thomas: Thoughts about me?

Amber: Thomas, we -- we can't.

Thomas: The hell we can't.

Thorne: All right. Head held high.

Darla: God, I so don't want to be here right now.

Thorne: We just have to get past the first few awkward moments, and then everything be fine, okay?

Darla: Okay.

Thorne: Trust me.

Guard: Mr. Forrester?

Thorne: Good morning, Paul.

Guard: I'm sorry, sir.

Thorne: What do you mean you're sorry?

Guard: I got a memo this morning.

Thorne: That says we can't go through?

Guard: I can let you through, but Mrs. Forrester is not allowed in the building.

Darla: Oh, my god.

Thorne: Give me the memo. Give it to me.

Darla: Oh, god. It's okay --

Thorne: I'm president of this company. We are going through.

Darla: Thorne, it's all right, okay? I don't want to be here anyway. Let's just wait until everybody calms down.

Thorne: Okay. I'll take care of this.

Darla: Okay. It's no big deal. Okay, honey? I'll just see you at home.

Thorne: All right. I'm the one that Ridge needs to worry about.

Thomas: I don't want it. Caitlin.

Thomas: Throw it away. I don't care. I do care. Not about the bracelet but about you. You're gonna get hurt. I know you think Rick's a great guy. And he is. But he's not for you.

Caitlin: Let's not talk about Rick.

Thomas: He's too old for you. He's been married. He had a kid. I’m trying to be your friend. Somebody has to warn you about --

Caitlin: Rick?

Thomas: You're just, you're getting way in over your head. You have so much going on in your life right now.

Caitlin: Look, that's nice of you to be worried, but --

Thomas: I know, I know. It's exciting. He's taking you out to fancy lunches. He's hitting on you at the fashion shows.

Caitlin: He wasn't hitting on me. It was -- I'm sorry, Thomas.

Thomas: So am I.

Caitlin: Wait.

Thomas: For what? You're not listening to me.

Caitlin: Please, just sit down and let me explain.

Thomas: I know what I saw, Caitlin.

Caitlin: And I wish you hadn't. That's not how I wanted you to find out about it, Thomas.

Thomas: Well, you could've at least said something.

Caitlin: I didn't know how. I know that sounds lame, but it's the truth. I just didn't want to --

Thomas: Hurt me. I got it.

Caitlin: But I have. I can see that.

Thomas: Don't worry about me.

Caitlin: I can't help it. And I was excited, too. It was just a huge moment for me, and I got caught up in it.

Thomas: But that wasn't the first time that you and Rick -- I should've known. The way you'd been acting.

Caitlin: No, I should've been honest with you.

Thomas: Maybe deep down, you knew it was wrong.

Caitlin: It's not.

Caitlin: What do you mean?

Thomas: Where do you think this is headed?

Caitlin: I don't know. I haven't really thought about it.

Thomas: Well, maybe you should.

Caitlin: Thomas --

Thomas: You're risking a lot to be with this guy. Your dad's not going to like it. My dad doesn't. You and Rick work together. If something happens, if it doesn't work out --

Caitlin: Is that what you want?

Caitlin: I will.

Thomas: You leaving?

Caitlin: I have to get back to the office.

Thomas: Oh, well -- don't let me keep you. Not that I could.

Caitlin: I still consider you a friend, Thomas, and I always will.

Ridge: Thorne.

Thorne: What the hell are you doing in my office? Locking Darla out of my computer?

Ridge: Dad's having a meeting in his office. We didn't think you were gonna be in today.

Thorne: Really? Well then why send the memo, Ridge? This was your doing, right?

Ridge: Your wife's a security risk.

Thorne: You vindictive bastard.

Ridge: Well, we're going to ensure that that accident doesn't happen again.

Thorne: You want to discuss security procedures, with me?

Ridge: There's nothing to discuss. Of your desk.

Thorne: They were not stolen! And you don't have the authority to pull this. You're just a designer.

Ridge: Of our most exciting on Y.

Thorne: I'm still president of this company.

Ridge: Well, then you would think maybe you'd do a little more to protect it, then.

Thorne: Oh, yeah. You know what? That's it. I want you out of this -- I want you out of this building.

Ridge: Oh, please, you can't throw me out.

Thorne: Watch me.

Ridge: Who are you calling?

Thorne: I'm calling security.

Ridge: I've got more right to be here than you do, Thorne.

Thorne: What did you say?

Ridge: Nothing we don't all know.

Thorne: That's it. That is it, Ridge! You're fired! Now, you get out of here.

Amber: You okay?

Thomas: I'm fine.

Amber: No, you're not. But you will be.

Rick: Hey.

Caitlin: Hey.

Rick: I was just heading out to get some coffee.

Caitlin: I already got some.

Rick: With Thomas?

Caitlin: How'd you know?

Rick: Your mom just told me. How'd it go?

[ Phone rings ]

Felicia: Hello?

Stephanie: Hello, sweetheart.

Felicia: Mother?

Stephanie: I didn't know you were still in town. Can you come by the house?

Felicia: Well, actually, my schedule is pretty busy this week.

Stephanie: What are you doing right now?

Felicia: I happen to be in the middle of something.

Stephanie: Felicia, it's important.

Felicia: Okay. I will be there as soon as I can. Bye.

Ridge: You can't fire me.

Thorne: I just did.

Ridge: And who do you think you away?

Thorn: The president of Forrester creations.

Ridge: Thorne, you fire me, and you'll forever be the guy who sank the ship.

Thorne: You know what, Ridge? We don't need you or your designs.

Ridge: Is that why your wife gave them to Spectra? You should be lucky you even got a job after a stunt like that.

Thorne: You probably tried to get Dad to throw me out, didn't you?

Ridge: You know what, Thorne? I really do want to work with you. But if you keep pushing me --

Thorne: I'm gonna keep pushing, Ridge, till you're out on the street.

Ridge: I belong here.

Thorne: My name is on that door.

Ridge: Yeah, we both know how you got this office.

Thorne: Oh, here it goes. The condescending Ridge, huh? I'm only here because, what, you weren't available? I'm just a seat-filler, holding your place? I'm sure you think I should be grateful, as well, huh?

Ridge: Would it hurt?

Thorne: You have no idea. I hate being your brother, you know that? I hate it! But there is nothing I can do to change that. But I will not take this anymore. The sneering, the snickering, all that crap, Ridge. I've had it!

Ridge: Well, then that would mean you're quitting. Because I'm not leaving.

Thorne: Yeah, well, we'll see.

Ridge: You can't force me out.

Thorne: No, but Dad can. We'll just let the founders of Forrester Creations make that decision, Ridge. We'll let Mom and Dad decide who goes and who stays.

Ridge: Oh, Thorne, Thorne, Thorne. I don't think you want to do that.

Thorne: Oh, I should've done that a long time ago.

Ridge: You may have Mother on your side right now.

Thorne: And you have Dad in your hip pocket. Is that what you're thinking, Ridge? Well you forgot something, big brother. I'm his first-born son. You got that?

Thorne: I'm his first-born son! So this little dance that we've been doing? It's over! You can find a new partner. Find a new job. Hell, find a new family! We're done.
