Oscar: You wanted hip and fresh. That's what you got. I'm telling you, the lighting, the music, the servers, the bartenders, all of it, it's all about youth and energy. All right?

Thorne: Good work, Oscar.

Oscar: Don't worry. The launch is gonna be flawless.

Thorne: I'm counting on it. Given everything that we've got riding on "Ingénue by Forrester."

Ridge: Ah, don't mind him. Worrying's part of the job description. Nobody does it better, huh?

Thorne: It's not your strong point, is it?

Ridge: No. Well, it doesn't have to be. That's why we make such a good team.

Employee: Oscar, we need your help over here.

Oscar: Excuse me.

Ridge: Right?

Darla: Excuse me. Honey, here's your coffee.

Thorne: Thanks.

Darla: You're welcome.

Ridge: Hello, Darla.

Darla: Hello, Ridge.

Thorne: He's trying.

Darla: If you say so.

                        ************************************************************************************

Caitlin: I still can't believe this is happening.

Rick: Yeah? Well you should believe it, because after tomorrow --

Caitlin: My life will never be the same.

Rick: Yeah, no more budding young design intern. Instead, you'll be --

Ridge: Caitlin Ramirez, L.A.'S youngest, hottest design diva.

Caitlin: But your changes are what made the designs so stellar.

Ridge: Shh! I thought we went over this?

Rick: Yes, many times.

Ridge: You are the star, okay? What self-respecting teen is going to want to buy clothes designed by some old fogy like me?

Caitlin: I'm just not used to the spotlight.

Ridge: Okay, well wait till tomorrow. When you're wearing the showstopper. You'll be waltzing down, all eyes will be on you. You'll be on Thomas' arm, by the way.

Caitlin: Thomas?

Rick: Yeah. Ridge has asked him to escort you.

Ridge: That way, we get a tie-in between you, the line and the Forrester family. That's just what I want.

Amber: Looks like I'm just in time.

Rick: For what?

Amber: Oh, well to wish the three of you good luck.

Rick: Oh.

Amber: There you go. I mean, not that you need it. I mean, the new line, it's just amazing. Enjoy every single incredible moment, okay? 'Cause things like this happen once in a lifetime. If you're lucky.

Caitlin: Thanks.

Amber: Well. That's all I came to say.

Ridge: What's up with that?

Caitlin: It wasn't that long ago, she was standing here.

Rick: She's just been going through a lot.

                        *******************************************************************************************

Oscar: Hey, you. Now what brings you by?

Amber: Oh, I just wanted to wish everybody luck.

Oscar: Everybody? Or just your ex?

                        *******************************************************************************************

Sally: Oh! Golly, Bucky, isn't great to be back in the center of the action again? I am absolutely loving it! I am loving it!

Clarke: Well, what's not to love? These designs are gonna make Spectra a fortune.

Sally: Ah, yes, yes. Thanks to some good friends over at Forrester Creations.

Clarke: Correction. Thanks to Darla.

Sally: That generous-hearted girl. She really came through for us, didn't she?

Clarke: Yes, and just in the nick of time. We may all collapse from exhaustion, but we are gonna beat "Ingénue by Forrester" to the runway.

Sally: Not only are we gonna beat them, Bucky my boy, our "Debutante" line is going to put the "ra-ra-ra!" Back in spectra fashions, plus a lot of greenbacks in our creditors' pockets.

Clarke: Just remember, I'm in for a cut of our profits, okay?

Sally: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Whatever, whatever.

Bob: Any more patterns?

Clarke: Oh, yeah, I’ve got some right here. Oh, and send Margie up. You know, I've made a few alterations to the dynamic duo over at Forrester's vision, and we need new patterns on these.

Bob: I sent Margie home.

Sally: You what?

Bob: We've been going nonstop for days, Sally. She needed some shut-eye.

Clarke: Well, get her back here, pronto! We need every pair of hands if we've gotta prayer of beating Forrester to the punch.

Sally: No, no, Clarke. Bob is right. I'll take care of the pattern myself. Bob, get back out there and tell them to take a nice long break. Coffee and donuts will be on me.

Bob: Thanks, Sally.

[ Sally sighs ]

Clarke: You got a cup of joe for this big lug? You know, Darla's not the only one with a big heart.

Sally: Well, that's what always happens when people start to sniff the sweet smell of success. You know, Bucky, I can smell it right now. Can't you? It's wafting over us. Mmm. Yeah.

Clarke: Mmm, yeah.

Sally: That's lovely.

[ Both saying "mmm" as they sniff the air ]

                        ***********************************************************************************

Amber: You know, it's not a crime to wish my ex good luck.

Oscar: That's true. That's true. But Rick is a lot more than your "ex." Or, at least, you'd like him to be, right?

Amber: I want a second chance. And somehow I'm gonna get it. Even if little miss Ingénue has turned -- oh, shoot.

Oscar: What? What's wrong?

Amber: My purse, I must've left it out front.

Oscar: Oh. That's pretty convenient, huh? What?

                        ***********************************************************************************

Ridge: I'm on my way.

Rick: What's up?

Ridge: Minor crisis upstairs. Can you handle everything down here?

Rick: Done.

Ridge: And you, Ms. Ingénue.

Caitlin: Yeah?

Ridge: Go home and get some rest. Because tomorrow, the magic begins.

Caitlin: Okay.

Rick: So, we should get you home.

Caitlin: Are you going to take me?

Rick: I'd love to. But we know we can't take any chances.

Caitlin: I just wish --

Rick: Me, too. But for now, this will have to do.

Woman: Hey, Amber. You like?

Amber: Oh, yeah.

                        *************************************************************************************

Sally: What do you mean, nobody scoops Forrester? What planet have you been living on, pal? I've got news for you. You have just been talking to the woman who did it! Okay, muchacho. Let's have the order. How many and how soon, huh? Oh. Oh, well, yes. Thank you. That's very generous of you. Thank you. Thank you very, very much.

Clarke: What's going on?

Sally: I have just been talking to Mr. Rodney Pearson.

Clarke: The lead buyer for --

Sally: The lead buyer for J.D. Nickols department store. They just put in a huge order for our new line. Feast your eyes on that one, eh?

Clarke: Holy moley!

Sally: Oh, my sentiments exactly. Holy moley.

Clarke: We did it.

Sally: We did. We did it.

Clarke: We did it. We did it. We did it. We did it. We did it.

[ Sally and Clarke laugh ]

Clarke: Was there ever any doubt?

Sally: Well, for a few minutes there was. You know, until you talked to Darla. And she did what she did.

Clarke: Thank you very much. But, I think Thorne might have been involved in this, you know? He was always against this line. He might have told her to do it.

Sally: No, Thorne's always been a team player.

Clarke: But the rules of the game have changed.

Sally: And in the big leagues, anything goes?

Clarke: Gonna be a tough lesson for our little Miss Ingénue.

Sally: Well, it won't be so bad for her. I understand she's keeping company with young Mister Forrester. I'm sure he is going to offer her a nice big shoulder to cry on.

                        *************************************************************************************

Caitlin: I mean, I felt like a movie star! Being driven home in a limo -- !

Samantha: Rick give you that?

Caitlin: No. Amber.

Samantha: Amber, Rick's ex-wife?

Caitlin: Mom, don't call her that.

Samantha: Well honey, that's what she is,.

Caitlin: I know, but -- where is everybody?

Samantha: Your dad's at the firehouse -- and Jimmy's with his aunt and uncle. Yeah, but don't worry. Your dad will be there tomorrow. He's not about to miss the biggest day of his daughter's life.

[ Knock ]

Caitlin: Thomas!

Thomas: Hey, I wanted to stop by and see you before tomorrow. To wish you good luck -- and also to give you this.

Caitlin: Thomas you shouldn't have --

Thomas: No, don't even go there. Not after everything you've made happen for yourself. How hard you've worked. I mean, you deserve so much, Caitlin. And after tomorrow --

Caitlin: I just don't want to disappoint anybody.

Thomas: Like there's any chance of that. Now me, on the other hand --

Caitlin: Wait. You're not nervous to --

Thomas: Walk you down the runaway? Don't worry -- I thrive under pressure. All the Forresters do.

Caitlin: Yeah. It's an amazing family.

Thomas: We have our moments. But tomorrow -- tomorrow's your moment, Caitlin. And I get to share it with you. Which makes me -- the luckiest guy in the world.

                        ******************************************************************************************

Rick: Hey. Looking for this?

Amber: Thanks. So. I hope you don't mind -- me coming by like I did. It's just -- I know how exciting it is, the night before a showing, and --

Rick: And you miss it.

Amber: And I miss you. Your family. All of it. I guess I made that clear the other night.

Rick: Amber --

Amber: I know, I know. I came on too strong. I guess I really never got over what we had. I know it wasn't perfect. And I know I made a lot of mistakes. But god, I would give anything be a part of your family again. Look. It's okay. You don't have to say anything. Unless it's, that you never got over me too. And you just want to run away together. Because that would really work for me. But not for you, huh?

                        **********************************************************************************************

Thomas: So what're you waiting for? Go for it!

Caitlin: Okay. Thomas, it's beautiful.

Thomas: So you're going to wear it tomorrow, right? For good luck, and -- well, you know Caitlin -- the premiere's just the beginning. We're gonna be working together at Forrester all summer. It doesn't get any better than that! Everything just feels so great when I'm around you.

Caitlin: Thomas, I think we should talk.

Samantha: Sweetheart? Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to interrupt. But you've got a big day tomorrow.

Thomas: Your mom's right. You should get some sleep -- we'll talk after your big triumph.

                        *******************************************************************************************

Samantha: He's crazy about you.

Caitlin: I know. But I'm in love with Rick. I am. I know that you think it's just a crush, but it's not.

Samantha: Honey, listen to me. You're so young. There's no need to rush. Especially with everything that's happening in your life right now. Just take your time -- you don't need to be committed to anyone, okay? All right?

                        ****************************************************************************************

Oscar: Hey, sorry to interrupt -- but Thorne needs you backstage.

Rick: All right just -- tell him I'll be there in a minute.

Oscar: Okay.

Amber: Lousy timing. Mine, not Thorne's.

Rick: Look Amber I -- I'm glad you stopped by.

Amber: I'll be thinking about you tomorrow.

Rick: I gotta get going.

Amber: What was that for?

Rick: The rose. I forgot to thank you.

                        ******************************************************************************************

[ Phone chimes ]

Ridge: I was just about to call you.

Thomas: Three guesses where I've been.

Ridge: You gave Caitlin the bracelet?

Thomas: She loved it.

Ridge: Yeah, well, that's no big surprise is it?

Thomas: She's totally excited about tomorrow.

Ridge: Sounds like her escort's getting a little excited about it, too.

Thomas: Thanks for making it happen, Dad.

Ridge: Hey, you just have yourself some fun. You and your girl.

                        **************************************************************************************

[ Phone rings ]

Caitlin: I knew you'd call.

Rick: Wow. Beautiful, talented and psychic.

Caitlin: You're still at Forrester?

Rick: Yeah, but we're wrapping up here.

Caitlin: Well, you could stop by here on your way home.

Rick: Somehow, I don't think your mother would approve.

Caitlin: Okay. But I just really wanted to tell you this in person.

Rick: What?

Caitlin: Just how happy I am -- and it's all because of you.

*************************************************************************************************

Ridge: Well, it looks like we're in good shape for tomorrow. Think I'll call it a night. You?

Thorne: Soon.

Ridge: Look, Thorne. Just in case there's any doubt, I really appreciate the way you -- never mind. See you tomorrow.

Darla: Ridge is avoiding me.

Thorne: Well, it's better than insulting you.

Darla: He thinks I'm trouble.

Thorne: And I think -- you're amazing. So there.

[ Phone jangles ]

Darla: Hello?

Sally: Hello my darling girl. I hope I interrupted something x-rated.

Darla: Hi Sal. How's it going?

Sally: Absolutely fantabulous. And it's all thanks to you and that incredibly generous birthday present.

Darla: Good. But, you don't have to keep thanking me. I told you I was glad to do it.

Sally: You haven't been having any second thoughts about it?

Darla: No.

Sally: You're sure --?

Darla: Absolutely, one hundred percent sure.

Sally: Well, I guess you can't be more positive than that.

Darla: Good night, Sal. I love you.

                        *********************************************************************************

Thorne: What was that about?

Darla: She keeps thanking me for those birthday photos that I gave her.

Thorne: Well, obviously, they were a big hit.

Darla: Yeah, just wanted to lift her spirits a bit. Show her that I care.

Thorne: No wonder I love you so much.

Darla: And I love you too, Mr. President -- always.

                        ******************************************************************************

Clarke: So? What'd Darla say?

Sally: She didn't seem to be concerned at all.

Clarke: Well then, maybe we shouldn't be either. Look, I'll say it again -- maybe Thorne got her to do it.

Sally: I don't know. But what if he didn't? Think of the fallout, Bucky. When the Forresters find out tomorrow what's happened -- that marriage could blow sky high!
