The Bold and The Beautiful Transcript Thursday 7/15/04
Brooke: I just want to be alone with you. Why are all these people still here?
Ridge: I know what you mean. We invited them to this party or something. Oh, I guess we did.
Brooke: Well, we are newlyweds.
Ridge: I can tell them to go. I'll tell them to go. I'll tell them to go.
Brooke: No. I'm just kidding.
Ridge: I will. I'll do it. I'll do it.
Brooke: No. They did come here to celebrate us.
Ridge: Yeah, I guess so. Some of them even brought presents.
Brooke: Oh. Well, then we have to let them stay.
Ridge: Okay. You can all stay.
Brooke: It'll give us something to look forward to.
Ridge: Don't you go getting sleepy on me tonight.
Brooke: Not a chance.
Ridge: Come here.
Nick: Nice, nice -- oh, not so fast, sailor.
Nick: I certainly hope we've met.
Felicia: I think we just did.
Felicia: Well, something tells me that you could use a stiff one.
Nick: You sure you're not talking about yourself?
Felicia: If you say so.
Nick: Actually, before you pour that, I was just going home. Thank you.
Felicia: Really? What's there?
Nick: Nothing. If you'd excused, I've had a bit too much to drink and I have a ride waiting for me.
Felicia: Ah -- no. You don'T. See, I told him to leave.
Nick: You what?
Felicia: I told him he could --
Nick: No, I -- who are you?
Felicia: Felicia. And you, mr. Marone, need no introduction.
Nick: Mr. Marone -- oh, that's right. I changed my name. I forgot. What was your name again?
Nick: Felicia. Well, then, felicia, two things -- the first -- where's my drink? Second -- why am I marooned here?
Felicia: Well, I thought it would be a good chance for us to get to know each other. Loving the nautical references, by the way -- very cute.
Nick: Oh, well, thank you. It comes with the package.
Felicia: I think we have that in common. You see, I love the water.
Nick: Is that right?
Nick: Well, there'll be no dingy rides because I never drink and paddle.
Felicia: Well, that's not really what I was thinking.
Nick: What were you thinking?
Felicia: Well, there happens to be a pool out back --
Nick: No, I got no suit.
Felicia: You don't need one.
Thomas: You guys seen caitlin?
Samantha: I thought she was with you.
Caitlin: What's wrong?
Caitlin: But you stopped.
Rick: Well, the song ended.
Caitlin: That's right. You must think I'm such a dork.
Rick: That's not the word I'd use.
Caitlin: Yeah, right.
Rick: You are the sweetest, most genuine girl I have ever met. You really -- you don't get it, do you?
Rick: There's a reason that dad and ridge are building an entire collection around you. The same reason as why I'm holding you in my arms tonight. There's something about you, caitlin. Something so incredible, I can't even begin to describe it.
Caitlin: Rick, stop. You're going to make me cry.
Nick: Now, clear something up here for me. Don't tell me -- tell me.
Nick: Yes, that's it. How do you fit in around here? How do you fit in?
Felicia: Well, truth is that I never have fit in, I mean.
Nick: Because I've never heard anyone mention your name before, felicia. I've never --
Felicia: Well, you know, out of sight, out of mind.
Nick: So you're saying you've been gone for awhile?
Felicia: Yeah, I don't tend to stay in one place for too long. How 'bout you?
Nick: I don't know. How about me?
Felicia: Well, word has it that you tend to move around also.
Nick: Well, if you knew that, why would you strand me here?
[ Nick laughs ]
Nick: I love that word. Makes me want to grab a sword. It's funny how in life sometimes --
Nick: Right now my party sorta needs a D.J.
Felicia: Well, then bring it on.
Hector: I better go look.
[ Brooke sighs ]
Brooke: Nice night.
Samantha: I'm sure it's beyond nice for you.
Brooke: Like a dream.
Samantha: Well, thank you so much for inviting us. We had a great time.
Brooke: You seem really happy with hector.
Samantha: I am. I think I had almost gave up believing that it could be like this for me.
Brooke: Life's full of wonderful surprises.
Samantha: I guess you'd know about that.
Brooke: So, we'll be seeing more of you, and caitlin, for the new line.
Samantha: Oh, yeah. What an amazing opportunity it is. She's so grateful. And she's so excited.
Brooke: Well, she earned it. Ridge said she's very talented. And he's not one to mince words.
Samantha: I know. And I couldn't be more proud of her.
Brooke: She's has a big fan club. I think thomas thinks highly of her, too.
Samantha: Mm-hmm. He's sweet. And truly, he's been a great friend to her.
Brooke: I think he sees here as more than just a friend.
[ They chuckle ] They really are adorable together though, aren't they?
Brooke: Yeah, they are. I'm surprised they're not out on the dance floor dancing right now.
Samantha: You know, actually I don't know where caitlin is. Hector just went to look for her. We really need to get going pretty soon.
Caitlin: I wish this night didn't have to end. Sorry.
Caitlin: Well, you might as well know my embarrassing secret. In case you haven't already noticed, I'm a hopeless romantic.
Rick: Well, want to know my secret? So am I. I think I'd almost forgotten that about myself.
Caitlin: Maybe we should go back and join the party.
Rick: Not yet.
Caitlin: I hope you know that you've made my night.
Rick: With just one dance?
Caitlin: Don't forget the kiss. I never will.
Caitlin: I'm sorry. I have to go. I know my hair looks great.
Jimmy: Where've you been?
Caitlin: Were you guys looking for me?
Samantha: Yeah, we're getting ready to go. Thomas wanted to say good-bye. You should go find him.
Thomas: Oh, there you are.
Caitlin: Here I am.
Thomas: One last dance?
Caitlin: Well --
Thomas: I think we still have a few minutes before you turn into a pumpkin.
Caitlin: Thanks, but I don't want to keep everybody waiting.
Samantha: Her parents can't party like they used to.
Thomas: I had a really good time tonight.
Caitlin: Me, too.
Ridge: I can't believe what I just saw.
Rick: Okay, look -- man, it's nothing to freak out over.
Ridge: I just had a conversation with that girl's father. I convinced him she's in good hands.
Rick: And she's fine.
Ridge: What she is, rick, is off limits.
Rick: It was just a kiss.
Ridge: I saw the way she was looking at you, rick. How long has this been going on, anyway? Have you -- ?
Rick: No. Not that it is any of your business.
Ridge: Not my business? How is it not my business when we spent millions, banked our entire future on that girl? What if it had been hector that found you and not me?
Rick: If it was hector, I would have explained to him --
Ridge: You would've been on the ground and she'd be off in some convent school right now.
Rick: You are overreacting.
Ridge: I'll tell you what's over, rick. You and caitlin, as of now.
Felicia: Come on, let's get out of here.
Nick: Wait a minute. Where are we going?
Felicia: Well, I'm not familiar with the L.A. Scene anymore. I mean, where are the hot spots these days?
Nick: Hot spots?
Nick: I'm a sea captain. I'm not a hot spot guy.
Felicia: Oh, don't tell me you haven't woken up on a few barroom floors because I won't believe that.
Nick: At least I woke up.
Felicia: Okay, then. What is your idea of a good time?
Nick: I like to wrestle with sharks. But I got no teeth.
Felicia: Not-so-subtle point taken.
Nick: Not to sound cliche -- thank you.
Felicia: You're welcome.
Nick: But it does sound cliche. I just got out of a very weird relationship.
Felicia: I know.
Nick: How do you know?
Felicia: Well, I heard all about it. You fell for brooke, she dumped you for ridge.
Nick: Oh. That's one way of putting it, I guess.
Felicia: It happens all the time. It's nothing to be ashamed of.
Nick: Thanks. Who are you anyway?
Rick: Where do you get off, huh? All right, we're family again -- as of tonight -- and I'm doing my best to be happy about that. But you have got absolutely no right --
Ridge: Oh, the hell I don'T. When our company's future's at stake --
Rick: Oh, give me a break, man.
Ridge: You don't see it, do you? What happens when you break that girl's heart and she goes running back to dad?
Rick: And what if don't break her heart? Huh? That's your style, ridge, not mine.
Ridge: Look, you want to date models, you got lots of options here, rick. But caitlin's not one of 'em.
Rick: Yeah, thanks great insight, ridge. I'll keep that in mind.
Ridge: Look, don't test me. I'll ship your butt back to international real fast.
Rick: Why don't you just try and chill out and see how it goes?
Ridge: That's a great strategy with millions on the line, great strategy.
Rick: Her father is not gonna have a problem with me.
Ridge: She's 17. You're out of college. You're divorced. The guy practically had a heart attack when thomas wanted to date her.
Rick: Hey, is that what this is about -- thomas? Because she's not interested.
Ridge: Is that an ego boost to you, huh? Winning out over a teenager?
Rick: This has got nothing to do with him. This is the last situation I thought I'd be in. It's not like I was looking for it.
Ridge: Is that what this is about? It's about love? Listen to me, rick -- you didn't talk to her father. I did. And he made it very clear to me. The second caitlin's in over her head, he's pulling her out. You may not give a damn what that means to forrester, my career and yours. So why don't you think about caitlin? What's it gonna do to her to lose this opportunity, huh? You want to be responsible for that? Rick, you're gonna lose either way. So do the right thing.
Felicia: I'm sorry. Have I made you feel uncomfortable?
Nick: You just seem to know a lot about me, that's all.
Felicia: Oh, you're feeling exposed? Well, I'm sure a man as attractive as you are is used to getting attention from women.
Nick: I don't think I've ever quite met anyone like you before though.
Felicia: I'll take that as a compliment.
Nick: As you wish. It's very nice meeting you, miss whoever-you-are.
Felicia: Well, you don't have a ride, remember? I'd be happy to give you a lift.
Nick: Said the spider to the fly.
Felicia: I'll just get my keys.
Nick: A purse. Do you mind, felicia? See what we got in here. Maybe we -- ah, here we go. We can figure out --
[ Felicia sighs ] Forrester?
Felicia: The prodigal daughter returns.
Nick: You're forrester's sister? Good, god. Now I really need a drink. I'll see ya.
Felicia: You don't have a car.
Nick: I'll walk.
Felicia: Oh, come on.
Ridge: Alone at last.
Brooke: I thought they'd never leave.
Ridge: Yeah. You take my breath away.
Brooke: Well, that's the idea. It is our wedding night.
Ridge: Let me ask you, should I have whisked you away somewhere exotic?
Brooke: Been there, done that. I just want to be here in your arms, in our house, with our family around us.
Ridge: Yeah. Speaking of which -- come here. Sit.
Brooke: What's this?
Ridge: Open it.
Brooke: You kept this.
Ridge: I never gave up on us, logan. On our last honeymoon, we left an open frame.
Brooke: For the baby that we would have together.
Ridge: No more empty spaces in our family and in our hearts.
Brooke: You've made me so happy.
Ridge: And you are going to stay that way, milady. You've got my word on that. I love you, mrs. Forrester.
Brooke: And I love you, mr. Forrester.
