Brooke: Let's go, little one. It's time to marry daddy.

Stephanie: You know what your brother said to me the other day? That Brooke was a sweet, innocent girl when we met her. Can you believe that?

Kristen: Mom, the point is, that is obviously what Ridge believes.

Stephanie: I -- he could never, ever see -- right from the beginning, he could never see how devious and how cunning she was. When he was supposed to marry Caroline, that wedding didn't take place, because Brooke kept a letter that Caroline had written to your brother.

Kristen: Oh, my god, this is ancient history!

Stephanie: It may be ancient history, but she keeps repeating it and doing the same thing over and over again. Your father, he trusted her, he believed in her and what did she do with that trust? She took away the company from him. She took away his life's work.

[ Stephanie remembering ]

Brooke: You said that you were purging me out of your lives. Well, thank you very much. I consider myself purged. And you, Eric -- the father of my child, Eric, jr. My former husband -- my trusted employer -- here's to trust. And you, Ridge -- you're the worst of them all -- you think you're so clever by getting me to sign this contract. When you were really in love with Taylor, and not me! Well, here's to Taylor -- and here's to you -- and here's to all you frigging people! You know, there's going to be some changes around here. And you better be ready for them.

Stephanie: I thought that was gonna kill your father. Up to that point, she'd just been devious. But now she had real power. And she used it against him.

Kristen: You know, whatever you think of her personally, mother, you have to admit, Brooke made a huge contribution to Forrester. She gave us beliefs.

Stephanie: That's true, she did. And it revolutionized the industry. You're absolutely right.

Kristen: Exactly.

Stephanie: And you know how she celebrated that?

Kristen: How?

Stephanie: She seduced your brother, while she was still married to your father.

Kristen: No, she didn't.

Stephanie: Yes, she did. And I have it on videotape.

[ Stephanie sighs ] You know, she always, always, always pursued Ridge. She just was relentless. She came up with the idea of the men's line -- which was a very good idea -- just in order to make him, really, head designer of that line. So that she could work with him on a daily basis, be around him every day. He was married to Taylor.

Kristen: I know, and I'm sure that was incredibly difficult on Taylor.

Stephanie: Yes, it was. And then she came up with that god-awful "Brooke's bedroom line." Oh, I hated that. I hated that. That was the most humiliating moment in the history of our company. And she put that bed in her office. Oh, god. She'd parade around in underwear -- the underwear, the line? Everywhere it seemed to be -- all the time. And it was always in front of the press.

Kristen: You know, mother, Brooke would probably argue with you. There's no such thing as bad publicity.

Stephanie: I'm sure that's exactly what she would say, but what about your father and I? I mean, Forrester creations was our legacy, wasn't it?

Kristen: Mm-hmm.

Stephanie: The only reason she wanted to have any control over that company was so she could get her hands on Ridge. So she could get her hooks into him. Period.

Kristen: You know, mother, this is neither here nor there. She's not even with Forrester anymore.

Stephanie: Oh, but the damage that she's done. I mean, how long is it going to take us to undo that? And some of it can never be repaired, can it? What about Taylor and Ridge? She poisoned that relationship, because she was always there, always flirting, always interfering.

Kristen: You know, you have got to be fair. Ridge isn't entirely innocent. He didn't stop the flirting, he encouraged it.

[ Stephanie scoffs ]

Stephanie: Yeah, the innocent flirtation. Your father, Ridge, Thorne, they never saw the danger in that until it was too late. I don't think Ridge even realizes now how lucky he is to be rid of her. But I do, I do.

Maya: This is a huge mistake.

Ridge: Letting Nick into my life, that was my mistake.

[ Phone ringing ]

Brooke: Hi, this is Brooke. Leave a message.

Ridge: Oh, come on, Brooke.

Maya: Listen to me, please. Dominick is not my lover.

Ridge: Right, right. What is he, just buying your yacht?

Maya: It is a business relationship.

Ridge: I heard your phone conversations, Maya. I read your e-mails.

Maya: Well, then you know.

Ridge: What I know is there's a lot more going on here than you're telling me.

Maya: It's not what you think.

Ridge: Look, just save your breath. I'm not buying your story. Neither is Brooke.

Minister: Welcome. Thank you all for joining Nick and Brooke on this very special day, to witness and celebrate their union in holy matrimony.

Minister: It wasn't that long ago, I was standing in this room marrying Nick's mother and father, reunited after years apart by their love for their son, just as nick and Brooke were brought together by their love for their child. Traditionally, marriage is the foundation of the family. For Nick and Brooke, family is the foundation of their union. Their commitment will be forged and strengthened by the shared joy and responsibility of parenthood. Their love for one another will be magnified by their love for their children, for the baby they're about to have and that beautiful little girl Brooke brings to this marriage. As Massimo and Jackie have been an inspiration to them, they will be an inspiration to their children and to everyone gathered here today. Their personal vows, made with all honesty and integrity, will forever bind this couple and their family in the presence of these witnesses and in the eyes of our lord. Let us pray. We do not seek god's presence, but acknowledge it here. Wherever love brings people together, whenever families are united, may he bless this couple, their children and all those who've come here to support them. Amen.

Massimo: Amen.

Kristen: You know, maybe dad and Ridge aren't forgiving Brooke for her sake, but for their own.

Stephanie: Spare me the healing powers of forgiveness.

Kristen: You know, you might want to try it sometime.

Stephanie: She broke up Thorne and Macy's marriage, I ended up in the hospital and we know where Macy ended up.

[ Kristen sighs ] But that wasn't enough for your father, no. He came to me and he said, "Stephanie, for the sake of the family, you have got to accept Brooke. You have to forgive her."

Kristen: Exactly --

Stephanie: I walked her down the aisle, didn't I?

Kristen: Yes, I know.

Stephanie: No, what you don't know is that I really did support that marriage.

Thorne: Thanks, mom.

Stephanie: And what did she do? She broke your brother's heart. She just tossed Thorne aside and went after Ridge, and he was still happily married. And when that didn't work out, she slept with Bridget's husband.

Kristen: Oh, come on, calm down.

Stephanie: I am calm.

Kristen: This is you calm?

Stephanie: I'm calm and I'm relieved. Relieved.

Kristen: Really?

Stephanie: Yes, Brooke Logan Forrester Forrester Forrester is gone, gone, gone.

Maya: Look, stop. I'll tell you what's going on.

Ridge: Brooke needs to hear it directly from you.

Maya: No, it doesn't concern her.

Ridge: Oh, you don't think she's gonna want to hear it?

Maya: No, she wouldn't. Look, just pull over.

Ridge: Why, so you can run away again? Get your hand off there. This isn't a game, Maya. If I don't get there in time, Brooke could end up married to that guy.

Minister: Nick, Brooke, I'm going to ask you now to declare your intent.

Nick: You got it.

Minister: We'll start with you, then. Do you, Dominick Marone, take Brooke Logan to be your wife? Will you love, honor and cherish her, in good times and in bad, forsaking all others, as long as you both shall live?

Nick: I will.

Minister: And will you, Brooke Logan, take Dominick Marone to be your husband? Will you love, honor and cherish him, in good times and in bad, forsaking all others, as long as you both shall live? Brooke?

Brooke: I will.

Minister: Now, having made your intentions known, you may make your vows to each other. Nick?

Nick: Well, I've come to realize that the best part of life is giving. So I'm gonna give you the best part of me, and that's my word. I give you my word that I'll be there for you and Hope and the baby. Through calm seas and the worst storms, you won't face it alone, because we're in this together. As parents -- as husband and wife. Whatever you need, you got it. Whenever, wherever. You can depend on me, because I do love you. And I always will.

Minister: Brooke?

Brooke: I promise you, from this day forward, there will be no looking back, no questioning fate. What the minister said is true. This baby is a miracle. And so are you. Everything you've done for me, your patience, your persistence. I can't thank you enough. But I'm certainly gonna try. And that is my vow to you, and to our family. And I can't tell you how proud I am to be Mrs. Dominick Marone.

Gregory: Mr. Forrester, can I help you?

Ridge: Open the gate.

Gregory: Sorry, sir, I can't.

Ridge: Gregory, open the gate.

Gregory: They were very clear to me, sir, that all the guests have arrived.

Ridge: I need to get up there, now.

Gregory: Mrs. Marone said that all the guests have arrived.

Ridge: I don't give a damn what Mrs. Marone said! Trust me, Gregory, you don't want to mess with me on this one. Open the gate.

Stephanie: Yes? Perfect, Charles. Thank you very much. See you later. Hi. Oh, I'm so happy you're here. I just got off the phone and made a reservation at the Cafe Russe for dinner, for us, tonight. And I told Charles to make you your favorite desert -- chocolate souffle.

Eric: Now you feel like celebrating, huh?

Stephanie: Why not? I mean, all's well with the world. You and I are together. Samantha has found her daughter. I mean, that's pretty miraculous.

Eric: Mm-hmm. And by the end of the day, Brooke Logan will be Mrs. Dominick Marone. You put that in the category of a miracle, too, don't you?

Stephanie: I certainly do. And I'm very thankful.

Eric: Thankful?

Stephanie: Mm-hmm.

Eric: That your son is losing the woman he loves?

Stephanie: After this wedding, he'll stop torturing himself.

Eric: It's not going to be that simple.

Stephanie: Eric, I know that. He's going to need all the encouragement that we can give him.

Eric: He's going to need all the compassion that we can give him. Not another lecture. That's the last thing he needs.

Stephanie: I wasn't going to lecture him. As a matter of fact, I thought maybe we should call him up and ask him if he'd like to join us for dinner.

Eric: Oh, that will make it a real celebration.

Stephanie: Well, it will take his mind off of Brooke.

Eric: Ridge has other plans.

Minister: May I have the rings? These rings are a symbol of the commitment you are making to each other. A reminder of your vows and of the sacred covenant between husband and wife. Nick, would you take Brooke's left hand? Repeat after me. I give you this ring as a symbol of my vow.

Nick: I give you this ring as a symbol of my vow.

Minister: And with all that I am and all that I have, I honor you.

Nick: And with all that I am and all that I have, I honor you.

Minister: Take this ring as a token of my enduring love and faithfulness.

Nick: Take this ring as a token of my enduring love and faithfulness.

Minister: You may place the ring on her finger.

Ridge: Stop! Brooke, you can't marry him!

Brooke: Ridge?

Rick: What the hell are you doing here?

Oscar: C'mon, man, show some respect.

Deacon: Katie, do me a favor. I want you to take Hope into the kitchen, right now. Thanks.

Katie: Sweetie, come on. Here we go.

Nick: What is she doing here?

Ridge: Ridge you know about her?

Jackie: I don't understand --

Brooke: Who is she?

Ridge: Nick's going to explain everything, aren't you, buddy?

Massimo: Are you out of your mind?

Maya: I haven't said anything.

Nick: Good.

Ridge: Wouldn't want your dirty little secret getting out, would we? Well, it's too late Nick. I read your e-mails. I know about the meetings and the money --

Brooke: What is going on?

Ridge: I was right, Logan. It's an affair.

Jackie: No. No, Nicky would never do that.

Ridge: I called her up. I pretended to be Nick. She met me down at the shady marlin.

Nick: Forrester, you don't know what the hell you're talking about.

Massimo: They work together.

Ridge: That's not what she said.

Brooke: She admitted it?

Maya: No, I told him this was insane.

Massimo: All right, look, this is all a misunderstanding, Brooke. Believe me, there's nothing to it.

Ridge: Why are you defending him again?

Massimo: Ridge, I give you my word. He is not having an affair. With her or anyone else. And we are in the middle of a wedding.

Ridge: They're lying, Brooke!

Massimo: Listen to me. You are making a scene. You're embarrassing everyone. And I'm telling you that you are wrong. Maya, I'm sorry for the mistake.

Ridge: Brooke, I heard their conversations. She gave me some bogus story. It doesn't make any sense at all.

Maya: He cut me off. He dragged me out of my car.

Massimo: All right, look, I can't apologize enough. We will get you home. I want you to leave.

Ridge: No, I'm not.

Massimo: Yes, you are. You've made enough trouble already, do you understand that? This is Brooke and Dominick's wedding. So I want you to leave now. Now!
