Megan: Stephanie.

Stephanie: Hello, Megan.

Megan: Hi, listen, you have a visitor.

Stephanie: Oh.

Megan: Well, she refused to wait outside. It's Sally Spectra.

Stephanie: Thanks, Megan. Sally.

Sally: I'm sorry, Stephanie. I didn't mean to burst in on you like this. I just -- I just didn't know where else to go.

Stephanie: Oh, honey, I -- I know. I'm so sorry about Macy Sally.

Sally: I don't know what to do. I don't know what to do.

Clarke: Andy, what's that doing here?

Andy: The poster? It's always been there.

Clarke: Well, I think it's time we recycled it. Can you get it out of here before Brooke sees it?

Andy: Okay.

Brooke: Good morning.

Clarke: Hello, Brooke.

Andy: Miss Logan.

Ridge: Andy, it's Mrs. Forrester now.

Andy: Mrs. Forrester.

Brooke: Andy, very nice to meet you. Oh, Ridge.

Ridge: You like it?

Brooke: Oh, I love it. Thank you.

Ridge: Well, don't thank me. Thank your designer.

Samantha: Surprise.

Brooke: Samantha, you're a genius. I mean, this is incredible. Thank you.

Samantha: Thanks.

Ridge: Now all you need to do now is take your place at your throne.

Brooke: All right.

Ridge: Madam CEO.

Brooke: Well, we've got a lot of work to do. Logan Designs is officially open for business.

[Knock at the door]

Thorne: It's open.

Darla: Hi, Thorne.

Thorne: Darla, great, you made it.

Darla: Yeah. So what's going on?

Thorne: I need your help.

Darla: With what?

Thorne: With those.

Darla: That's why you called me down here?

Thorne: Yes, look, I'm totally behind, and I was hoping with your experience, you could --

Darla: Yeah, yeah, of course. It's the only thing I'm good at -- filing.

Thorne: Great, great. Listen, go ahead and start with that pile right there then.

Darla: Yes, sir.

Brooke: Oh, it's perfect. And I can't believe -- every piece.

Samantha: I'm glad you like it.

Brooke: It's great. Oh, I see you found Clarke.

Clarke: Right here. Look, I'm sorry about that poster of Sally out there.

Brooke: Oh, no. Don't worry about the poster. Clarke, I want to talk to you about something. I've been going through the personnel files, and I can see that most people working here have worked for Sally for 20 to 30 years -- from the beginning.

Clarke: Yes, and maybe that's why it's like a family around here. You know, we've all seen each other grow up, get married, have children. Some have grandchildren. Sally's been a godmother to half the children in this place.

Brooke: Oh, they're gonna miss her.

Clarke: Well, that's business.

Brooke: And to make sure that the business runs smoothly, we have to have everybody on our team.

Clarke: Want me to talk to them?

Brooke: No. I would like to talk to them. So e-mail everybody, get everybody outside of my office in ten minutes.

Clarke: E-mail? We're a little bit more old school around here. It's all yours, boss.

Brooke: Okay, hmm.

[Feedback] Ooh. Hello, all employees, this is Brooke Logan Forrester. Please meet me outside my office immediately. Thank you.

Darla: Is this for me?

Thorne: Well, it's got your name on it. Go ahead, open it.

Darla: Oh, Thorne. It's absolutely gorgeous.

Thorne: It's a christening gown. It was one of my Father's first designs. All of us kids were christened in it.

Darla: This was yours?

Thorne: Mm-hmm. It's a family heirloom.

Darla: But doesn't your mother want it?

Thorne: Who do you think I got it from? She'd be proud to see her grandchild christened in this. And I would, too.

Stephanie: Sally, I've been trying to reach you. Did you get my messages? I came to your house.

Sally: I know. I know. I just -- I just wasn't ready. Just wasn't ready. Stephanie -- they put Macy on life support. The doctors have given up on her.

Stephanie: But you haven't.

Sally: No. No, no, no. I will never give up on my little girl. Never, never, never. She's all I can think about. She's all I can talk about. But I also know I have a decision to make. And, Stephanie, it's the most difficult decision I've ever had to make in my life.

Stephanie: Sal -- honey, I wish there was something I could say or do.

Sally: I wish somebody could explain to me why things like this happen. I mean, there I was. I thought I had my life under some kind of control. Macy was fine. You know, she was okay. She was happily married. She had a brand-new family. And the business was running okay. Everything seemed fine. And then -- wham! Everything changed. Macy is lying comatose in the hospital. And over at Spectra, Brooke Logan has taken over. She's sitting in the chair behind my desk. I mean, there's something very wrong with that picture.

Stephanie: Sally, this should be the least of your concerns.

Sally: Salt in my wounds, Stephanie. Salt in my wounds. Spectra Fashions is gone forever. It's a tremendous loss to me and to all of my employees. I'm sure all of us would like nothing better than to see Brooke Logan's head on a platter.

Clarke: The staff is ready to meet their new CEO. Good luck, kid. You're gonna need it.

Sally: I know you understand what I'm talking about, Stephanie. As a mater of fact, you are probably the one person in the world who has more reason to despise Brooke Logan than I do.

Stephanie: Well, Sally -- I learned something about Brooke when we were down in Puerto Vista.

Sally: Well, unless you're about to tell me that you have learned how to remove that woman from the face of the earth, I'm not terribly interested.

Stephanie: No. I learned that she really loves my son. She put her life in jeopardy for him.

Sally: Oh, I get it. I get it. Fine, fine, fine. Now she's got you feeling indebted to her.

Stephanie: No, I've just -- I've accepted his decision. He married her, and now she's part of the family.

Sally: Part of the family? What about all the scandals she caused? What about all the betrayals? What about all the terrible things that woman has done?

Stephanie: I've seen a different side of her.

Sally: You're hallucinating. There is no different side to her. Brooke Logan hasn't suddenly turned into some kind of heroine, Stephanie. She is still as selfish as she's ever been. As a matter of fact, I don't think that woman has ever done anything to benefit anyone but herself.

Brooke: As you all probably know, I am Brooke Logan Forrester.

Bob: What are we supposed to call you? Ms. Logan or Mrs. Forrester?

Brooke: You can call me Brooke. What's your name?

Bob: Bob. Robert Sirnz.

Brooke: Oh, yes. You're the pattern cutter.

Bob: Right.

Brooke: What would you like to be called?

Bob: Bob.

Brooke: Okay,Bob. Bob it is. Nice to meet you. I'm sorry, you'll have to forgive me. I don't know each and every name here yet, but I will. I promise you. I was just looking over the personnel files, and I realize that I am addressing this wonderful, magnificent group of dedicated people.

Employee: Well, we hear that you're hiring new people.

Brooke: Yes, marketing and promotions, to make sure that your beautiful clothing that you produce gets the attention that it deserves.

Employee: So you don't mind working with Sally's people?

Brooke: No, of course not. I think that your level of experience is an asset to this business. And it's a tribute to your former employer and to the high quality of your work. Without all of you, this place would just be a building. Ridge's designs would just be sketches. And all those contracts on my desk would just be worthless scraps of paper. Well, sure, I could redesign my office, put a new name on the door. But it's your hard work and your dedication that is the heart and soul of this company. And I don't want to alter that spirit at all. Logan Designs is as hungry and rebellious as Spectra Designs ever was. And with your help, sally's vision, and the success that she wanted, we can achieve.

[Applause] We are launching a new company in this building. And we are launching a new era in this business. But we can't really appreciate our achievements until we remember where we came from. Andy, could you please put this back where it belongs? Thank you. We have a great future ahead of us. But Logan designs will not be a success without each and every one of you. Or without this woman, Sally spectra.

Stephanie: Sally, let me give you some advice, please.

Sally: Well, allow me to return the favor. Stop making excuses for Brooke.

Stephanie: Don't let vengeance rule your life.

Sally: You keep talkin' like that, and you are really gonna hate yourself when you look back on this day.

Stephanie: This is the voice of experience. I'm sure I have made myself far more miserable than I ever made Brooke.

Sally: Well, turn her over to me, because I'm a master at this. I know I can do better.

Stephanie: Sally, listen to me, please. You think I wouldn't be happier if Brooke had never come into my life? You bet I would. But we can't turn back time, Sal. We just can't. It's not going to heal your daughter. And you're not going to get your company back. It's changed forever. It's over. You have to get on with your life. And all you can hope is that those wonderful people that worked for you all those years -- that they can do the same thing.

Brooke: Whoo, applause. Can you believe it?

Ridge: Congratulations, Logan.

Brooke: But did you see their faces when I first went out there? It was like I was standing in front of a firing squad.

Ridge: Oh, yeah. If looks could kill --

Brooke: Oh, yeah.

Ridge: I am so proud of you.

Brooke: Yeah, well, I still have some work to do, but I think I can win them over.

Ridge: Oh, please, I can't imagine anybody resisting you.

Brooke: Well, you're just biased.

Ridge: Maybe. I do rather enjoy patting myself on the back for this one.

Brooke: Okay, so hiring me was a good idea?

Ridge: Second best decision I've ever made.

Brooke: And what was the first?

Ridge: Asking you to marry me. Tell me -- were you a little nervous?

Brooke: Ah, well, it is sally's family, you know, and I'm kind of like the evil stepmother.

Ridge: Hey, you're the best executive in this business. If there were any questions about that before, you answered them all today.

Brooke: Well, we're moving in the right direction.

Ridge: Yes, we are. New office. New attitude. Except there's one thing missing. One thing. One thing. You know when you said before about not wanting to lose where you came from?

Brooke: Well, I was wondering where that went.

Ridge: Yep. And it's been asking -- it's been asking me for a new home. And I took the liberty of making a slight little change. This is going to be like magic. Watch what happens here. Watch this.

Brooke: Wow. I like that.

Ridge: It's something, huh?

Brooke: Yeah. Well, would you like to do the honors? You are the reason that I'm here.

Ridge: We did this together, Logan. Just like we're going to do everything else from now on -- our business, our family.

Brooke: You're right. This is just the beginning. And nothing can stop us now.

Sally: Well, I guess you think you've got everybody fooled. Don't you, Brooke, hmm? Well, you haven't. You haven't fooled me. I know what you did. And I am going to have my revenge. I'll do it, Brooke. You mark my words.
