Ridge: Hey.

Stephanie: Everyone go?

Ridge: Yeah. You've got me all to yourself.

Stephanie: Well, isn't that a nice treat? Happy to have you home.

Ridge: It's good to be home. I should be presumed dead more often.

Stephanie: Hey, bite your tongue!

Ridge: Hey, if I had known what it would take to get you and Brooke back together, I would have had myself kidnapped years ago.

Stephanie: All right. It's safe to say that this experience has definitely opened my eyes.

Ridge: Brooke's not really the damsel in distress you thought she was, is she?

Stephanie: Well, I guess not -- considering what would have happened if Sheila had caught her, I mean -- she never hesitated for a moment.

Ridge: No. She is a very determined lady.

Stephanie: Yes. She was prepared to make the ultimate sacrifice for you, wasn't she? That's pretty amazing. That kind of loyalty just shouldn't go unrewarded, should it?

Ridge: No.

Nick: You really want to tell Forrester that we had --

Brooke: Please --

Nick: What? You don't want to hear it out loud? Kind of hurts your ears, doesn't it? How do you think he's gonna feel?

Brooke: I'll make him understand.

Nick: Oh, come on! You can't do that. Hell, we don't even understand what happened. Every time he looks at you, for the rest of your life, he's gonna see you with me. Don't do that to him.

Brooke: Keep lying?

Nick: Forget about it! Just forget it ever happened. I'm gonna be gone. It's gonna make it a lot easier for you.

Brooke: I've kept secrets from him before, and I just can't do that. You can't be close with somebody that you're keeping something from.

Nick: Oh, close? For crying out loud, Brooke. What are you talking about, close? Do you think if you tell him, if you're honest with him, that's gonna bring you closer?

Brooke: It's the right thing to do!

Nick: Says who? Who? A marriage, a family falling apart -- does that feel right to you? Think about it. You've worked so damn hard to get where you are. You know, you deserve to be happy. You deserve it. If you lost that, 'cause of me, I -- please. Please don't tell him.

Sally: All these people. They're here for Macy?

Oscar: Your daughter has a lot of fans.

And maybe tomorrow

Sally: You did this.

Oscar: No. I mean, not at first. Then you came and talked to me, and I'll tell you what's the other deal is, I showed up this morning, and outside the door was this huge pile of flowers and get well cards.

Sally: I know about things like that. They've been leaving those things at the hospital, too.

Oscar: Yeah, well, Macy's fans want her to know that they're thinking about her.

Ever so near that's the time you must keep outside

Darla: Sally. Macy touched so many people.

Oscar: And they came here to feel closer to her.

Clarke: When you went ahead with the opening, we thought --

Oscar: I know.

Bridget: Why didn't you tell me?

Oscar: I tried.

Sally: Oscar, would you introduce me, please? I'd really like to talk to these people.

Oscar: How you doing? I'm Oscar Marone. I own this place. I just wanted to thank you all personally for coming out tonight. You know, I gotta tell you -- it does the heart good to see so many people coming together like this to celebrate the career of a woman who's touched so many of us with her music, with her soul, with -- just the way she's lived her life. She is an amazing, amazing talent, and you know what? More than that, she is probably even a more amazing woman, which is why I probably got so much flak for wanting to reopen this place tonight. You know, how could I be so callous, right? I mean, didn't I realize what a terrible thing it is to happen here on this stage? Well, let me tell you something. I'm not gonna forget the tragedy that happened here on that night for as long as I live. But you know what? There's something else that I'm not gonna forget, because that same night, right here on this stage, Macy gave what might have been the most amazing performance of her career. She just -- she just sent out the love into the room, and -- and maybe that's why I need to start giving some of that love back. So I'm proud to announce that tonight is the last event that Ozzz will be holding. That's right. That's right. See, tomorrow, Ozzz's doors will be closed, and it'll be put up for auction. And all the proceeds from that sale and tonight's candlelight vigil will go to start the Macy Alexander foundation for coma research.

[Applause] Yeah. Yeah.

Nick: You're feeling guilty, and you want to confess. I get that. I feel the same thing sometimes. But it'd be selfish.

Brooke: Selfish?

Nick: That's right, selfish. Just think of where Forrester is right now in his life, what he's got -- peace. Massimo's accepted you. Stephanie.

Brooke: Stephanie made a toast to me tonight, welcoming me into the family.

Nick: That's what I'm talking about. Think of how much that must have meant to ridge, that his kids have a mother again. His life's on track. Now if you tell him what happened between us, you're gonna ruin all that.

Brooke: If I love him, I'll lie?

Nick: I know it's hard.

Brooke: You can't do it. That's why you're leaving. But you expect me to look him in the eye --

Nick: Forget about me. You risked your life for the man. You'd have died for him. You can do this.

Brooke: No, nick. I can't.

Ridge: My mother singing Brooke's praises -- hallelujah, there must be a blizzard in Hades right now.

Stephanie: Mm-hmm. Well, only mf she doesn't hurt you or those children. If she does, I'll have to have her shot. But that's not gonna happen, is it?

Ridge: Admit it. You like her.

Stephanie: I like the way she handled herself in Puerto Vista, yes. All right, I'll admit that I'm happy to see she's put a smile back on your face.

Ridge: Oh, yeah. I feel like Brooke and I have so much to look forward to -- raising the kids, our new business, another baby.

Stephanie: A baby?

Ridge: Well, we're working on it. We're working on it.

Stephanie: Well, I can see that's making you happy.

Ridge: There's only one little smudge in this whole perfect picture, though -- Nick. I really thought he and I were getting closer there, and now he's just taking off. What do you think about this business trip, huh? I'm not so sure about it.

Stephanie: I don't think he's going away on a business trip.

Ridge: I got the same feeling.

Stephanie: Could it have something to do with Brooke?

Ridge: No, mother. Don't start again.

Stephanie: I'm not questioning her. I'm questioning his feelings for her.

Ridge: I don't think that's an issue. Nick gave us his blessing.

Stephanie: That's all well and good, but he might need more time for that sort of transition.

Ridge: Hmm. You know, Brooke might not be back for a little while. You know what I'm gonna do? I'm gonna head down to the marina.

Stephanie: You think you can catch him?

Ridge: I'm gonna try. Nick came through for me big time in Puerto Vista. I don't want to let him leave without saying good-bye.

Clarke: Ozzy's selling the club.

Deacon: I'll be damned.

Oscar: Thank you. Thank you. But you know what, the truth is, I don't deserve all the credit for this decision. Sally, you're up. Come on. Ladies and gentlemen, this is Sally Spectra, Macy's mom.

Sally: Thank you, dear.

Oscar: Yesterday, Sally came to me with a request. She asked me to consider how reopening this club might affect her family. Well, I did.

Sally: And we're all very glad that you did. Thank you, dear.

[Applause] Yes, yes, yes. Hello, everybody. It's wonderful to see you all here tonight for this joyous occasion, full of love. Thank you, Ozzy, for your wonderful speech, for that planning that went into this fabulous event for Macy, and especially for that foundation in her honor. That is a true blessing. You're a real gent for going that. Tonight, Macy needs all of your love and support more than she ever has before. My daughter, my beautiful little girl, is going to need all of you to make a complete recovery. You mustn't give up on her. You must never forget about her. She's going to need all of the love and the support, and all of the hope that all of you have inside of you. Now, I know that you're going to be able to do that for her, because you have already done it for me and for the rest of Macy's family. You have restored all our hope. For that I thank you. For Macy, her family. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. God bless you all. Thank you.

Nick: You're determined to do this?

Brooke: It just doesn't seem like I have a choice. Ridge is gonna want to know why you disappeared, and I just can't lie. Maybe he'll forgive me.

Nick: You're letting yourself in for so much heartache. You know, all I wanted to do was protect you. I still do.

Ridge: Logan? What are you doing here?

Sally: Thank you.

Oscar: It was the least I could do.

I always thought that I could make it on my own

since you left

Amber: Selling the club for charity?

Oscar: For Macy and her family.

Amber: You should have told me.

Oscar: Well, it was sort of a last-minute decision.

Amber: Mm-hmm. Well, I hope you got somethin' else up your sleeve, because you just put us both out of a job. Hmm, I guess we'll be collecting unemployment checks tomorrow.

Oscar: Amber -- Amber, come on, we'll start somethin' else!

[Amber sighs]

Oscar: Hey!

Bridget: Hi.

Oscar: Hi. Still mad at me?

Bridget: I came here ready to hate you. I don't anymore.

Oscar: That's a cool thing because, you know, I suddenly find myself without a job. You wouldn't need any personal assistant would you?

Bridget: Something tells me I probably wouldn't get a lot done with you around.

Oscar: So we're good?

Bridget: We're good.

Oscar: Good. Because, you know, I did this 'cause of you.

Bridget: Me?

Oscar: Yeah, yeah. I mean, you know what I really believe is the show must go on, you know, no matter what. But in this case, it just kinda seemed like the right thing to do. You know, standing up there lookin' at you -- I don't know, I just see you and I just want to do the right thing. Thank you. I guess.

Bridget: No, Ozzy. Thank you.

Brooke: Ridge.

Ridge: You left the party. I thought you went home.

Nick: She came to wish me bon voyage.

Ridge: So did I.

Nick: Yeah, well, thanks. Did you come all the way down for that?

Brooke: He's not sure he's leaving yet.

Nick: I'm leaving.

Ridge: Your mother said it was a business trip.

Nick: Yeah, the Far East.

Ridge: It's news to me.

Nick: Koje Islands -- got to make some connections there for the fleet also.

Ridge: Hmm. Even though your parents are about to get married?

Nick: Well, I talked to mom. She understands.

Ridge: Well, Massimo doesn't. And neither do I, really. What's really going on here, Nick? This isn't about business, is it?

Nick: I don't know what you're thinking but --

Ridge: I'm thinking that there's more goin' on here than you're telling me. You know what it is, don't you?

Brooke: Yes.

Nick: Brooke.

Ridge: Well, I'd like the truth. And I'd like it now.
