[Wedding march plays]

[Brooke thinking]

Brooke: The moment I've been waiting for. Today, I become your wife, Ridge.

C.J.: Hi, mom.

Sally: Hi, sweetheart. The flowers are lovely. Your sister's going to love them.

C.J.: Well, I certainly hope so. How is she?

Sally: She's in the other room, having a nap.

C.J.: Did you hear from the doctor? I mean, did they get the test results back? Did they get all of the cancer?

Sally: Yes, sweetheart, thank God, they did.

C.J.: Good. Well, I hate ask this, because I'm afraid of the answer, but what about Thorne? Is he keeping his promise and sticking by her?

Sally: He certainly is. You have nothing to worry about on that score. He's totally dedicated. He could barely take even the few minutes away from her to go to Brooke and Ridge's wedding.

C.J.: Well, did you see the newspaper this morning?

Sally: Oh, yes. Oh, yes. Boy, oh, boy. Brooke Logan is certainly not the queen of understatement, is she?

C.J.: No, she certainly isn't. But you know the newspapers. They just love a Forrester wedding.

Sally: Oh, that they do. They love all things Forrester, especially Ridge Forrester. If they only knew.

C.J.: If they only knew what, mom? What did you just mean by that? I -- I can't believe this. You know, don't you?

Sally: Know what? What are you talking about, C.J.?

C.J.: Mom, come on. You know exactly what I'm talking about. Look, it's okay. I know, too. Ridge is Massimo's son.

[Brooke thinking]

Brooke: Ridge is the only man I've ever truly loved. I fell in love with him the moment we met. It was magic from the very beginning. Ridge and I are meant to be together. And it's finally happening. It's finally right. So right.

Sally: C.J., you know about Ridge and Massimo?

C.J.: Yes, I do. Bridget told me. But who told you?

Sally: He did. Massimo.

C.J.: And why would he do that?

Sally: Well, he found himself in a very difficult situation, didn't know how to deal with it, and needed someone to talk to.

C.J.: Okay.

Sally: There really wasn't anybody else, you know. He certainly couldn't talk to Stephanie. She was too involved in protecting her family and protecting her precious reputation to be of any help.

C.J.: Yeah, if I know her, this wedding is killing her.

Sally: Yes. I agree. And for once in my life, I can honestly say I feel sorry for her.

C.J.: Never thought I'd hear you say that, but mom, look, if you're gonna feel for somebody here, I think you should be feeling for Bridget. Come on, she's the maid of honor and she has to stand there while her mother marries the man that she's in love with?

Sally: What? C.J., are you actually saying that Bridget is in love with Ridge?

Minister: Family and friends, Ridge and Brooke have invited us here today to celebrate and witness their union in holy matrimony. This afternoon, they become a family -- guardians of each other's children and an example to us all, a reminder that love is all around us, waiting to be discovered for the first time or to be rediscovered again. Now, the maid of honor will give us the reading.

Bridget: Love is patient. Love is kind. Love is not jealous or boastful. It is not arrogant or rude. Love does not insist on its own way. It is not irritable or resentful. It does not rejoice at wrong, but rejoices in the right. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things. Love endures all things. Love never ends.

[Bridget remembering] Ridge to Bridget: I'll never be sorry for what we shared. But I'll always wonder.
