 Megan: Thorne. You made it.

 Thorne: Have they already started?

Megan: Well, Rick and Amber just went in.

Thorne: Man, I told dad I would be here, but -- my head's just not in it.

Megan: Brooke told me about you and Macy. God, Thorne, it must be great having her back. And what is this I hear about you guys? You're still married.

Thorne: Yes, we are. And if I have anything to say about it, we will be for a very, very long time.

Amber: I'm not exactly sure how to say this.

Stephanie: Well, the best thing is probably just to say it.

[Door opens]

Thorne: Sorry. Hope I didn't hold you guys up.

Eric: No, not at all, Thorne.

Brooke: Amber was just about to tell us something.

Macy: Oh, Darla, I almost went home. What took you so long?

Darla: Well, I stopped for some coffee. You want some?

Macy: Did you talk to him? What did he say?

Darla: Oh, on second thought, no latte for you, babe.

 Macy: Darla.

 Darla: Honey, he loves you.

Macy: He's been saying that for months. I just -- I wish I could believe him.

Darla: Oh, please. The guy is head-over-heels, 100% out of his bones in love with you.

Macy: And you're sure that he's sincere?

Darla: Well, even his roommate knows it.

 Macy: Tricia?

Darla: When I got there, she was leaving.

Macy: Did he ask her to move out?

Darla: Maybe. Or maybe she just realized that she couldn't compete with you, and she packed her bags and she headed off for the Big Apple. She's gone, and Thorne is over there in that house all alone, thinking about nothing but you.

[Knock on door]

 Bridget: It's open.

 C.J.: Hey.

 Bridget: Hey.

C.J.: So -- how long am gonna have to wait?

 Bridget: For what?

C.J.: Gee, let's see -- for you to tell me why you didn't go to Copenhagen.

Bridget: Oh -- I had a change of heart.

C.J.: Yeah, well, I figured that. Bridget, I thought this was supposed to be a really big opportunity for you.

Bridget: It's not the only one I'll ever get.

C.J.: Something held you back. Okay. Let's see. Was it a guy?

 Bridget: No.

C.J.: Okay, so it wasn't a guy. I wonder what else it could be. Why would Bridget stay here?

Bridget: C.J., This is really fun and all. I'd love to play 20 questions with you, but I have a lot of reading to do.

C.J.: Okay, fine. But you're not off the hook. I will find out why you stuck around. I'm watching you.

[Door closes]

Eric: Go ahead, Amber. The sooner you get this over with, the sooner we can deal with the problem.

 Stephanie: What's the problem?

Brooke: Did something happen with the line?

Amber: No, it's not the collection. It's me. I made this video. It was years ago. It was back in Furnace Creek. You know, me and my boyfriend, we were just, we were stupid kids. You know, I didn't think anything was ever gonna come of it, and when we broke up, I just -- I figured he destroyed it. But he didn't destroy the tape.

Brooke: What kind of video, Amber?

Amber: See, I -- I tried to stop it. I did. I offered to buy it back. I offered to buy them all back. It wasn't like I signed a release or anything. This was pure exploitation. You know, and once I got famous, Rudy just -- he just figured he could make a few bucks, you know?

Stephanie: What exactly were you doing on the video?

Amber: It was an adult video, Stephanie. It was x-rated.

Stephanie: You made an x-rated video?

 Kristen: With your boyfriend?

 Thorne: And he sold it?

Brooke: Who did he sell it to?

Stephanie: Did you know about this, Eric?

Eric: We've been talking to the lawyers.

Thorne: Well, how do we stop this from being released?

Rick: It's -- it's already been released. That's how Amber found out about it.

Brooke: This is a PR nightmare.

 Eric: It gets worse.

 Stephanie: How is that possible?

Amber: He used my name in the title.

Brooke: But he didn't use your full name.

 Amber: Ambrosia.

 Brooke: Oh, god. The line.

Eric: He pirated the music as well.

Thorne: Well, that's copyright infringement. I mean, we can sue him for that.

Eric: Yeah, then we risk drawing more attention to the video.

Kristen: Are you telling me that the press already knows about this?

Eric: It hit the tabloids today.

Thorne: What the hell can we do?

Eric: Not much, I'm afraid. I mean, whatever spin we put on it, the damage to the Ambrosia line will be huge.

Stephanie: Well, I think I'm a little more concerned about the family and the children. What -- how do we deal with your son growing up and finding out his mother did a pornographic video? I mean, this is just appalling.

Amber: I'm sorry. I know how much faith you all put in me and the collection and I thought I could handle it. I really did. I really did want to make you all proud.

[Bridget remembering]

Ridge: You've been through a lot this last year. With your mom and Deacon. You were looking for love and you thought you found it with me and my kids. It's only natural to confuse that kind of a connection with something else. But you believe me when I tell you, someday you'll find the real thing. You will find it.

[Knock on door]

Bridget: C.J., I really need to study --

Ridge: Hey, princess. Is this a bad time?

 Bridget: Ridge. What's going on?

 Ridge: I need some advice.

Bridget: Look, if this is about my mother, I don't --

 Ridge: Have you seen her?

Bridget: She told me she ran into you at Taylor's grave site.

Ridge: Yeah, I had just asked Taylor to send me a sign of some sort, and your mom shows up. It was kind of strange.

Bridget: Is that what you want to ask me about?

Ridge: Look, I don't want to put you in an awkward position here, given everything that's happened.

Bridget: Don't worry about it. I'm fine. I'm fine. What about you? You don't really seem quite as upbeat as mom.

Ridge: Is that the way she seems?

Bridget: She's hoping you'll forgive her for what she did with Deacon. You thinking about it?

 Ridge: I guess that's why I'm here.

Bridget: I can't tell you what to do, Ridge.

Ridge: I know. There's just a lot to consider here for me. It's not just about me and my feelings. I've got to think about Thomas and Phoebe, Steffy, even Hope. And then there's Deacon. Isn't he gonna want to be associated with his little girl? I have to figure, do I want that guy anywhere around my family? I can totally see why Brooke didn't tell me about the affair. The way I reacted, she has every right to be nervous. But to find it out from Deacon, and to see how it affected you --

Bridget: It's just something I live with. And if you take her back, it's something you're gonna have to live with, too. Ridge, it's just up to you to -- it's up to you to decide if you can.

Ridge: Yeah. It's up to me.

 Bridget: Completely.

Ridge: You're not gonna help me out here, are you?

Bridget: Trust me. I am helping you by staying out of it. The situation is complicated enough as it is.

Darla: Mace, you should have heard what he said. Oh, God, it was so romantic.

Macy: Well, tell me, Darla. Tell me exactly what he said.

Darla: I don't know what else I can tell you here. I mean, he meant it. Everything. Everything he said, all the promises that he made. I think it could really happen for you two. But honey, if you're asking me for some kind of guarantee here, you know as well as I do, life just doesn't work that way.

Macy: You think I'm asking for too much?

Darla: No. I think you're a little scared. Mace, the love that you and Thorne share, that's something that doesn't come along every day. For some people -- for some people, it doesn't come along at all. I just want you to realize that.

Macy: I do, Darla. Believe me, I do.

Rick: Amber, nobody can blame you for something that you did when you were a teenager.

Eric: We're here to try to figure out what to do about it.

Amber: No, we're here because I made a stupid mistake, and now this family and the company is gonna have to pay for it.

Brooke: This collection could have been the most successful that Forrester's ever produced.

Kristen: Well, how many of the designs are already in production?

Brooke: It doesn't matter. We have to pull them.

 Amber: Pull them?

Brooke: Yes. We don't want to get stuck with a warehouse full of dresses. Even Telesave won't touch us after a scandal like this.

Stephanie: So that's it? We'll just dump the line?

Eric: I'm not sure we have much choice.

Kristen: But we've invested so much.

Eric: Better to lose a few million than to have to close up shop.

Amber: Close up? No. No, it can't be that bad.

Amber: if we run with this collection and it collection's good. Brooke said so herself. This could make record sales. You know, it's not the collection. It's me. I'm the one who failed. And I'm the one who should get pulled, not my designs.

Rick: Amber -- what are you saying?

Amber: That I'm the one who got you into this mess, and I'm the only one who can get you out of it. Eric, I'd like Megan to schedule a press conference for tomorrow.

 Eric: What for?

Amber: To announce my resignation from Forrester creations.

Stephanie: Well, that's all very well and good and noble, but we don't need a press conference for a stunt like that.

Amber: It's not a stunt, Stephanie. I mean it. I'm leaving the company.

Thorne: Amber, you don't have to punish yourself.

Amber: When I took this job, I made this family a promise. That I was gonna carry on the Forrester tradition. And that means more than making a lot of money or drawing a lot of pretty dresses. It means acting with integrity and taking responsibility for my actions. It's about putting family first, and that's exactly what I'm gonna do tomorrow.

Stephanie: Amber, you love this job.

Amber: I love my family more. And there's no way I'm gonna let you get involved in this scandal.

Eric: Well, let's get started then.

 Kristen: All right.

Brooke: I'll get Megan on that press conference.

Kristen: I'll see where we are on production.

Eric: Good. Go on. Go on.

 Rick: Honey, are you --

[Door closes] Are you sure about this?

[Cell phone rings]

 Macy: Hello?

 Thorne: Macy, it's me.

 Macy: Thorne.

Thorne: I want to see you. Tonight.

 Macy: Thorne, I can't. Lorenzo --

Thorne: Look, forget about him, okay? Come to my house, Macy. Listen, how long do you think you can fight this?

Macy: I'm not fighting this. I just -- I just am not ready yet, all right? I need a little bit more time. I'm almost there.

 Thorne: Almost there.

Ridge: Bridget, I didn't come over here to put you on the spot.

 Bridget: You haven't.

Ridge: I just didn't really know who else to talk to about all this. I kind of need a neutral opinion.

Bridget: And you came to me?

Ridge: 'Cause I knew you'd give me the truth. Everybody else seems to have an agenda -- my mother, Massimo. They'd all be very happy if I never saw your mother again.

Bridget: Would that make you happy?

Ridge: You're the first one to ask me that question.

Bridget: Well, unfortunately, I can't give you an answer.

Ridge: Well, how about another piece of that patented Bridget Forrester sage advice?

Bridget: Is that what that's called? Don't let anybody tell you what to do. Ridge, you're the only one who can decide what's best for you and your kids.

 Ridge: That's it?

Bridget: Hey, you wanted a neutral opinion.

Ridge: I didn't expect quite so many clichés in one sentence, though.

Bridget: Oh, uh-huh, okay, honesty. Okay.

 Ridge: Mm-hmm.

Bridget: The truth is, I'm not sure if I understand any better than the rest of you. I mean, Ridge, my mom can do the most hurtful, irresponsible things, but deep down, I don't think there's a malicious bone in her body.

Ridge: I think you're right on both of those.

Bridget: Well, anyway, I know you're gonna figure it out. Don't worry about it.

Ridge: All right. I'll take that as my cue to leave.

Bridget: No, you don't have to leave.

Ridge: It's all right. It's all right. Look, I -- I think you're right. I'm the one that does have to figure it out, and I appreciate your advice, okay? What little of it there was.

 Bridget: Best I could do.

Ridge: That's all I can ask for. Thanks, princess.

 Bridget: You're welcome.

 C.J.: Bridget?

 Bridget: C.J. I didn't see you there.

C.J.: Yeah, obviously. What was that all about?

 Bridget: What?

C.J.: What do you mean "what?" That little look you just gave Ridge.

Bridget: What are you -- what are you talking about?

C.J.: What am I talking about? Bridget --

Bridget: Okay, I'm not gonna talk about this, C.J., All right? I'm not gonna talk about it.

C.J.: Whoa, whoa, whoa, no, no, no, no, no. Bridget. Bridget. Look, I saw what happened. Something is obviously going on between you and Ridge. I want to know what it is.
