Ridge: Come on, Thomas! Open your eyes, sweetheart. Come on! Come on, Thomas!

Brooke: Ridge, he's turning blue!

Massimo: He's in here. He's on the floor!

Ridge: He's still unconscious!

Brooke: He's barely breathing!

Medic #1: How much has he had to drink?

Ridge: About a third the bottle --

Medic #2: Respiration is 14. Has he vomited?

Ridge: No.

Medic #1: Pulse of 100. Any seizures?

Ridge: No. He hasn't moved.

Medic #1: Okay, what's his name?

Ridge: Thomas. Thomas Forrester.

Medic #1 : Okay, Thomas. Let's go, buddy. We're gonna take good care of you. All right? There we go. All right. Let's get going.

Ridge: It's all right, sweetheart. I'm right here with you. It's gonna be okay. Everything's gonna be okay.

Stephanie: I want to know how you are and how you're handling all of this.

Bridget: Which part? Deacon being back in town or the fact that he went to Ridge and told him about being Hope's father?

Stephanie: Both.

Bridget: Ridge didn't tell you I spent the whole night crying?

Stephanie: Honey, I'm sorry.

Bridget: It just really surprised me. I mean, I didn't realize I still had so much anger.

Stephanie: It isn't easy, thank you, handling these kinds of demons.

Bridget: Yeah. You know, Ridge was the one who got the brunt of it, poor thing.

Stephanie: Knowing him, I am sure he lent you a good, strong shoulder to cry on.

Bridget: He was pretty amazing, actually. He was so caring and so sweet.

Stephanie: Well, honey, he adores you. He loves you.

Bridget: I just wish I could have done something to help him.

Stephanie: Bridget, just understanding what he's going through is a big help.

Bridget: Yeah, it really does make a difference. This entire time, even the thought of somebody finding out about Deacon and my mother, I -- I couldn't even handle it. And now, it's -- it's kind of a relief in a way. I guess I'm lucky, though, that Deacon went to Ridge and not the press.

Stephanie: I don't think you have to worry about Deacon doing that. He got exactly what he wanted.

Bridget: Ridge, away from my mother.

Stephanie: I never thought I would say something like this, but -- I owe him for that.

Dr. Frank: All right, quickly, let's get him in 2.

Medic #1: Preteen male, weighing approximately 40 kilograms, he was found down in his room with no signs of trauma. He's unresponsive right now, his name is Thomas.

Casey: Grab a couple extra bags of dextrose.

Dr. Frank: Casey, we'll need a CBC, chem. 7, tox. screen, blood alcohol level and get a stat chest x-ray.

Casey: Right away.

Ridge: Doctor. I'm Thomas' father. Where is he?

Dr. Frank: Mr. --

Ridge: Forrester.

Dr. Frank: Mr. Forrester, you'll have to wait out here.

Brooke: Ridge --

Massimo: Don't you dare. You're the last thing that he needs right now.

Brooke: If that's true, then Ridge will tell me himself!

Massimo: He can't even stand to look at you, and you expect to help him? If you care about what's good for Ridge and yourself, you will stay away.

Ridge: This is crazy. I just can't stand here and wait around.

Massimo: Ridge, Ridge, Ridge, listen -- the worst thing that can happen to Thomas right now is for you to get in the way, okay?

Ridge: That's my son in there, Massimo!

Massimo: I know what he means to you. God, believe me, I do. It's just that you've got to give the doctors a chance to do everything that they can.

Ridge: Yeah, well, they did everything they could for Taylor, too. Where did that get her?

Massimo: No, no, no. Come on. Don't think of that. Sit down. Come on. Relax a little bit.

Ridge: Where's Brooke?

Massimo: Gone. That's all that matters.

Casey: Mr. Forrester? You can come in now. I'm sorry. Family only.

Massimo: I am family.

Brooke: As much as I hate to admit it, Massimo's probably right. Ridge would rather turn to anybody else but me right now. So what do you do when somebody doesn't want your help? Ridge has been through so much. And Thomas -- when I think of what he did to dull his pain. I just wish I could have shown him another way. Maybe if I'd just spent a little more time with him and gotten a little closer. How I wanted to be the mother to those children -- those sweet children -- and be the woman that Ridge wanted, that Ridge counted on. To be the one that he could trust. And I know in my heart that I still am. I just hope Ridge can see that some day -- again. I don't know. I guess that's it. I don't know. I don't have all the answers. I guess that's why I'm here. I'm putting myself in your hands. I want to ask you to watch over Ridge and the girls -- and especially Thomas. Please -- give him back to them. And please give them the help that I can't.

Dr. Frank: What's his BP?

Jerry: 100/60.

Dr. Frank: Casey, let's get another blood work on him. Would you take over here for me?

Yes. Yes.

Ridge: Hey, Thomas, sweetheart. It's daddy. Come on, big boy.

Dr. Frank: He's still unresponsive, but his vital signs are improving.

Ridge: Does that mean he's gonna be okay?

Dr. Frank: Well, that depends on a number of things -- how well his liver metabolizes the alcohol in his blood stream, how severe the oxygen depravation was to his brain -- when a person suffers from acute alcohol poisoning, the body basically shuts down. [Thomas coughs] He's vomiting. Casey, let's get some suction here. Jerry, get an NG tube. We'll pump his stomach.

Jerry: Right away, doctor.

Ridge: I knew, Massimo, at some level, I knew he was in trouble. What did I do? I just kept telling him everything was great, that we were gonna be all fine. I did this to him!

Massimo: No! No, you did not! Listen to me. You are not the one to blame.

Ridge: I could have talked to him more, made sure Tricia was there every day and Bridget. All he wanted was to make sure that Bridget came back to come live with us.

Massimo: All right, fine. Okay? As soon as Thomas comes through this, you make sure that she comes back. Okay? You do whatever it takes to make it happen.

Bridget: For once, you and I are in agreement on this. I mean, mom says she's changed, but how can anyone really change all that much? I guess I just don't want Ridge and the kids being the guinea pigs. You know?

Stephanie: What happened to you up there, living in that house?

Bridget: What do you mean?

Stephanie: Well, you've always loved Ridge and you've been very fond of the children. But now it's like you're the fifth member of the family.

Bridget: You know how kids are. I mean, they just have a way of sneaking into your heart.

Stephanie: And vice versa.

Bridget: I would say it was my cooking, but --

Stephanie: I don't think it's your cooking. But I can see that they've really become dependent on you.

Bridget: Yeah. Thomas even called earlier. Wanted me to come over. Poor little guy practically begged me.

Stephanie: Why didn't you go, honey?

Bridget: I don't know, I just -- I don't think I should keep encouraging that connection.

Stephanie: I don't understand.

Bridget: Well, Stephanie, what good is it gonna do to get so close to him when you know as well as I do that Ridge is just going to go back to my mom and forgive her and take her back.

Stephanie: Oh, my, god! I hope not! Oh, god, Bridget, I want him to find someone like Taylor. I mean, you know, not exactly like Taylor, but like Taylor. Someone who -- someone who's got character and who's compassionate and loving and generous.

Bridget: You sound exactly like Massimo.

Stephanie: I do?

Bridget: Massimo thinks he's already found the perfect woman for Ridge.

Stephanie: Who?

Bridget: Me.

Dr. Frank: Mr. Forrester, it'll be a while yet before we know anything more. If you and Mr. Marone would like to take a break, get a cup of coffee --

Ridge: No, I'm not leaving my son. Why don't you head on home? There is no reason for you to stay around.

Massimo: What are you talking about? You're making it sound like a burden.

Ridge: Look, as much as I appreciate your being here, I don't want you to feel obligated to stay.

Massimo: Obligated? You and Thomas are -- [Massimo sighs] Very important to me.

Ridge: All right. I appreciate it, thanks.

Massimo: Do you feel it? The bond, the love between a father and son? It's that same tie you have with Thomas, the one that compels you to stay by his side. If only you knew me that way.

Stephanie: You're kidding of course.

Bridget: No. Well, Massimo is just desperate to keep Ridge away from my mother.

Stephanie: But it doesn't make any sense. I mean -- Massimo wants you for Ridge?

Bridget: Hey, what happened to all that talk about my great character?

Stephanie: Character? He's your brother.

Bridget: Not by blood.

Stephanie: Well, he doesn't know that. I see what Massimo wants. He wants Ridge to find out the truth. Oh, my god! So he thinks if he starts something between you and Ridge, the truth will come out. But I mean, he can't seriously think of something like -- I can't -- I can't believe he would really try and do something like this!

Bridget: Well, he's just getting more and more insistent. I mean, he's completely convinced himself that there's nobody else in the world for Ridge but me -- and that if I would let myself, I would feel the same way about Ridge.

Stephanie: Well, how is that possible? You couldn't possibly have feelings like that for him. You've grown up your whole life loving him like your brother.

Bridget: I know, okay? I know. I know it's crazy! Isn't it?

Massimo: Brooke Logan praying before god. He must be getting quite a laugh from that. Come here.

Brooke: What are you doing? Get your hands off of me!

Massimo: What were you praying for, hmm? What are you praying for? That Thomas dies? So you have one less obstacle between you and Ridge? You listen to me! You had better hope that the good lord has enough mercy left over for you!

Brooke: I am not responsible for what happened to Thomas!

Massimo: The hell you aren't! If that child dies, it's on your head!

Brooke: Thomas is in the emergency room because his mother died! Not because of anything that I ever did!

Massimo: Maybe if that boy was given five minutes to actually mourn his mother's death, he wouldn't be in the ER right now!

Brooke: Ridge gave him every opportunity to mourn!

Massimo: And you took every one of them away!

Brooke: How?! I pulled him out of a counseling session or I stopped Ridge from wiping tears off of his face?!

Massimo: Every single thing that you have done -- since the moment they put Taylor in the ground -- has been a willful, manipulative act to get that ring on your finger. Thank god he finally saw through you.

Brooke: And I'm sure you're going to do every "willful, manipulative act" you can to make sure that that doesn't change.

Massimo: You don't want to test me to find out.

Brooke: I'm not afraid of you, Massimo. Because I know that what Ridge and I share is a lot stronger than anything you would ever have to throw at us.

Massimo: You make his skin crawl.

Brooke: I disappointed him! But that doesn't mean that I destroyed our love.

Massimo: Maybe not. But the love that he feels for his children now is gonna you two may have had together. And let me tell you something. After what happened here tonight, he's never gonna let you near his family again!

[Monitor beeping]

Ridge: I'm sorry I let you down, sport. I know you've had a lot going on inside of you since your mom died. And I didn't do enough to make it better. But that's going to change. From now on, you, Stephy, Phoebe and I, we're a team. That means we're -- we're in this together. Whatever you need, you've got it. You hear me? You got it.

[Thomas mumbling]

Thomas: Bridget.

Ridge: Thomas? Thomas? Did you say something?

[Thomas mumbling]

Thomas: Bridget.

Ridge: Doctor Frank?

Dr. Frank: Casey, I need you over here.

Ridge: Bridget's gonna be here, sweetheart. She's gonna be here. She's gonna be a big part of our lives again. I promise.

Dr. Frank: Thomas, can you hear me? Thomas? Thomas, can you hear me? Open your eyes. Can you hear me, Thomas? He's coming around.

Ridge: Come on, buddy.

Stephanie: Wait a minute. What are you saying?

Bridget: I'm just really mixed up right now.

Stephanie: About whether or not you love your brother?

Bridget: He's not my brother.

Stephanie: And finding that out now suddenly changes everything? Oh, my god.

Bridget: I have tried -- I have tried so hard to put this out of my mind, but every time I see Ridge, every time I think of him --

Stephanie: But you're siblings. You can't possibly mistake that for romantic love.

Bridget: I keep telling myself the same thing.

Stephanie: This is Massimo's fault. This is his doing. He's taken something that is absolutely wonderful and beautiful and he's trying to pervert this!

Bridget: If it's so sick, why doesn't it feel that way?

Stephanie: I don't want to ever hear you say that.

Bridget: You think I do?

Stephanie: Do you have any idea what this would do to your father if you allowed something like this to continue? Do you have any idea what it would do if he found out that Ridge wasn't his son? Have you even thought of the consequences of something like that?

Bridget: Of course I have!

Stephanie: Oh really? It doesn't seem to be important enough to put your libido aside!

Bridget: What? That is so unfair! I have agonized over this! Of course I know what it would do to my father if he found out the truth! And I also know what it would do to you!

Stephanie: Me?

Bridget: Oh, don't. Don't play that play with me. You've just painted yourself as the picture of integrity, haven't you? You mean to tell me it hasn't crossed your mind what it would look to everyone if they find out you've been lying to your husband this entire time!

[Knock at door]

Massimo: Bridget! Bridget! It's Massimo! Open up please! [Knock at door] Bridget!

[Knock at door]

Stephanie: What are you doing here?

Massimo: Stephanie, I can't answer questions now. [Massimo sighs] Listen. No, never mind. Ridge -- Ridge and Thomas need you, okay?

Stephanie: Massimo! She isn't going anywhere with you!
