Amber: So, there's no change at all?

Mark: Right now, we're just grateful we're been able to keep her heart rate stable.

Amber: But the longer she's unconscious -- I mean, that can't be very good, right?

Mark: At this point, there's still every reason to be optimistic, okay?

Amber: Thank you. Hey, Taylor. It's me, Amber. Um -- I was really hoping you'd wake up by now because there so much I want to tell you. Um, I spent my first night at home. Remember all that time we were talking about how it was gonna happen and you said -- you just kept telling me that it was gonna happen. And finally -- it did. Well -- we woke up little Eric, and I told him that his mommy was home -- and I was never going to leave him ever again. You should've -- you should've seen the look on his face. But, you will. You will. And you will see the same look on your kids' faces, when you go home.

Thomas: Dad! How's mom?

Phoebe: Is she okay?

Steffy: Did you bring her home?

Thomas: What happened?

Ridge: Your mommy's still at the hospital. Catherine told you, right, that mommy was in an accident?

Steffy: Was she hurt bad?

Ridge: Sweetheart, she's not hurting at all right now, okay? They gave her some medicine, so she wouldn't. She's sleeping. I just came home to check on you guys, okay? And get some things to make mommy more comfortable.

Phoebe: Can we go to the hospital?

Ridge: I'd rather you hang out here with Catherine. And grandma's going to come by and check on you. When mommy wakes up, we'll -- we'll talk about a visit then, okay?

Catherine: Hey, I have an idea. Why don't we make her some cards?

Ridge: Oh, she would love that. Absolutely love that.

Catherine: Okay, you guys, go to the kitchen and get out the crayons and markers. And I will be right there, okay? So anything?

Ridge: No, not yet. But they're telling me that that's -- that's okay. The main worry was that her heart was going to give out. So far she seems to be hanging in there.

Catherine: She's a strong woman, Ridge. She'll pull through.

Ridge: Yeah. Yeah, I'm counting on that.

Catherine: I'm gonna go help the kids.

Bridget: She said to go left, right?

C.J.: Uh-huh, yeah. I think so.

Bridget: C.J., I don't even think this is the right wing --

C.J.: Whoa, whoa, whoa, hey, hey. Bridget, come on. Calm down, okay. Look, your mom is fine. Everything is gonna be okay.

C.J.: You okay?

Bridget: Yeah.

C.J.: All right. Let's go find your mom.

Mark: Bridget.

Bridget: Mark, hey.

Mark: Hi. You here to see your mom?

Bridget: Yeah. Is she your patient?

Mark: No, no. But I've been keeping a close eye on her, though. She's doing great.

Bridget: Good. Um, this is my friend, C.J. Dr. Mark Maclaine, he's my mentor. I told you about him.

Mark: Hi.

Bridget: Could you tell me where her room is, because --

Mark: It's a little confusing, right?

Bridget: Yes.

Mark: All right, you are gonna go through these double doors right here.

Bridget: Yeah.

Mark: Make your first right.

Bridget: Okay, thank you.

Mark: You're welcome.

Bridget: You coming?

C.J.: No, actually I'll just wait here. You go ahead, okay?

Bridget: Okay, fine. See ya later.

Mark: All right, see you. So, um, C.J., Is it?

C.J.: Uh, yeah.

Mark: So, you pre-med, too?

C.J.: No. I actually own the Insomnia -- the coffee house that you dropped Bridget off at the other night.

Mark: Oh, right, right, right. The place she works.

C.J.: Yeah.

Mark: Well, in that case, I guess you're going to end up hating me.

C.J.: Oh, really, why is that?

Mark: Because I'm going to be the guy who's going to steal her away from you.

Pa system: Dr. Maclaine

to radiology.

Mark: Oh, that's me.

Pa system: Dr. Maclaine

to radiology.

Mark: It was a pleasure meeting you.

C.J.: You too.

Mark: All right.

Catherine: We decided cards weren't big enough.

Thomas: Check it out.

Ridge: Wow.

Phoebe: It's got all her favorite things on it.

Ridge: Yeah, I see. A beautiful rainbow. The books she loves so much. Flowers from her garden.

Catherine: Phoebe cut some real ones, too. She planted these with her mom.

Ridge: Oh -- it's gonna make mommy's room smell so pretty. Lovely, sweetheart. And what's this? An angel?

Thomas: I did that. So she'd have one watching over her. Look, it's wearing bowling shoes.

Ridge: Yeah. You're gonna make her laugh. You know that, don't you? This is great, you guys. You did a wonderful job. I think I better get back then. Where's Steffy?

Catherine: She said she had something else she wanted to give you.

Ridge: What's that?

Catherine: I don't know. She went up to her room to get it.

Thomas: There she is.

Ridge: Hey, sweetheart. You've got something for mommy?

Steffy: Yeah.

Ridge: What is it?

Steffy: I thought mommy might need it more than I do.

Ridge: Oh, sweetheart. That is so beautiful that you would do that. But don't you think you might want to hang onto stinky here for the next couple days. Mommy's not going to be here and it might be a little scary.

Steffy: She's being brave.

Ridge: Yes. She is. You want to be just like mommy, don't you? This is gonna make mommy so proud. So proud, come here.

Amber: Oh, and -- James is coming back. Stephanie got a hold of him, and they're gonna release Erica into his custody. Personally, I believe she should go to prison for forever and a day, but -- I guess if anyone can straighten her out, it's James. Or at least he should have a chance to try. But you did that for him. You did that. You found his little girl. By mistake, but it's happening. It's just all happening, and then these miracles, it's because -- it's because you never gave up on me -- this piece of trash everyone was ready to throw away. I want you to know that I will never, never, ever forget that. My marriage and my son, everything -- everything -- I wouldn't have anything if it wasn't for you. I wouldn't even -- I wouldn't even be alive if it wasn't for you. Because you -- you are the one that made all these miracles happen. Now I just need one more.

[ Monitor beeping ]Amber: I'm not gonna give up on you. You hear me? Because you never gave up on me.

Brooke: Hello, sweetheart. Mommy loves you so much. Everything's gonna be okay, you know that? Hmm? Look at her. So peaceful. In her world, nothing happened last night.

Stephanie: Why don't I take her? You know, you really do need to get your rest. Okay?

Brooke: Okay. Thank you.

Stephanie: Come on, you little -- you little, little, little, little, little.

Brooke: Thank you so much for watching her.

Stephanie: No problem.

Brooke: I'm sure you're really worried about Taylor.

Stephanie: I think it's safe to say that we all are.

Bridget: Is this a bad time?

Brooke: No. No, come in.

Stephanie: I'm glad you're here.

Bridget: You okay?

Brooke: Yeah. I'm doing fine.

Bridget: You must have been terrified.

Brooke: It just happened so fast.

Bridget: You went over to dad's house and --

Brooke: I went over there to get Hope's bottle in the refrigerator.

Bridget: And the next thing you know, you're getting shot at?

Brooke: Yeah.

Bridget: I'm sorry. I'm sorry. You probably don't even want to think about this. I don't either. God, Mom -- I could have lost both my parents.

Intercom: Dr. Max,

extension 456.

Ridge: Hey, doctor.

Mark: Hi, Mr. Forrester, hi.

Ridge: Has she --

Mark: No. She still hasn't come to yet. I was just checking on her. But her vitals are good and she's been stable for well over six hours now. So it's very encouraging.

Ridge: Good, all right. Thank you.

Mark: You're welcome.

[ Monitor beeping ]

[ door closes ]

Ridge: Come back. Doc, please come back.

Brooke: Eric and I are the lucky ones.

Bridget: Stephanie told me about Taylor. Their poor kids. And Ridge -- god, have you talked to him yet?

Brooke: No. I'm sure he doesn't want to talk to me.

Bridget: What do you mean?

Brooke: Because I was the one who went in there and startled Sheila. And if I didn't do that, then maybe --

Bridget: Oh, Mom, come on. You had no idea she was even there. It could just as easily be you fighting for your life right now. I'm just -- I'm really glad you're okay.

Brooke: You don't know how much that means to hear you say that.

Bridget: Mom, you didn't actually think that -- look, we've had our problems. We still do, but I would never -- I would never let anything bad happen to you. You're my mom.

Brooke: But I hurt you unforgivably. And how could I blame you if you --

Bridget: If I what? If i cut you out of my heart? Mom, even if I wanted to do that, I couldn't, so -- don't worry about that. I don't want you to worry about anything, okay? I just -- I want you to -- I want you to focus on getting better and going home to your little girl.

Ridge: The kids are fine. I figured you'd probably be worried about that. I didn't tell them everything, of course. I mean, I figured I'd just wait until you're up and around to do that. You should really see what they did for you. They -- they made you a little banner. It's very cute. It says -- "We love our mom." They put all your favorite things on there. They didn't put me on there for some reason. I don't know what's up with that. Let's see, we have -- books. Your garden. They even know you have a love of reptiles. Look at this. Thomas painted you a little angel with bowling shoes. From when he was afraid of the thunder, and you told him, "Don't be scared. You know, it's just angels bowling." He wanted you to have an angel watching over you, because that's what you said you'd do if you -- if you were ever --

[ ridge sighs ]

Taylor: Stinky.

Ridge: Yeah, doc. Steffy finally gave up stinky. Yeah. Sweetheart.
