Massimo: Sally, I want you to listen to me.

Sally: How can I do that, Massimo, when you're not the one who's talking? All I'm hearing are Stephanie forester's words coming out your mouth. I heard you speak only once. And then you were totally dedicated to letting Ridge know that you are his real father. That was until she got a hold of you and made you change your mind.

Massimo: Sally, she may be right. It seems as if Ridge is happy. This could turn his whole life upside down.

Sally: It might be good for him, you know. It might be good for him to have his whole world turned upside down and get knocked off that high horse, learn how real people live, Massimo. A nice dose of humility wouldn't do him any harm.

Massimo: Sally, if you care for me at all --

Sally: Wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute. If I care for you at all, I will just obey orders and give in to all demands? Where have I heard that one before? Oh, yes. I remember. Wasn't that the same tactic Stephanie used on you. "Oh, Mass, if you love me, you will do as I say." That was all it took, and you folded up like an accordion.

Massimo: I am not keeping this secret because of Stephanie.

Sally: Well, I'm not keeping it a secret at all, Massimo, so I think you'd better stock up on cigars. You are about to become a father.

Zendi: Please, don't tell them I'm here.

Kristen: Okay, okay. It's all right. Come here. Sit down. It's all right. It's okay, okay? I'm not going to turn you in.

Zendi: Thank you.

Kristen: Well, why are they looking for you?

Zendi: They think I'm stealing things.

Kristen: But you're not?

Zendi: No, I wouldn't!

Kristen: Honey, then what are you doing here? My film. My gosh. But I dropped that all the way in town.

Zendi: I brought it back for you.

Kristen: My gosh.

Tony: Nothing to worry about. They're just looking for a little boy.

Employee: I'm very sorry for the disturbance.

Kristen: It's all right.

Employee: Someone spotted one of the local boys trespassing on the property.

Tony: Does that happen often?

Employee: Usually, they know better.

Kristen: I'm sure all the commotion scared him off.

Employee: Probably, but you'll want to keep your valuables in a safe place.

Kristen: Okay. We'll do that. Thank you. Thank you very much.

Employee: Thank you. Good night.

Tony: Good night.

Kristen: Good night.

Tony: You want to tell me what's going on?

Brooke: Ridge is going to know something's wrong. They're going to start asking questions. I can't hide this pregnancy forever. And if Bridget ever finds out that I'm pregnant with her husband's baby -- oh, God!

[Doorbell rings]

Rick: Hi. How are you?

Brooke: Well, I'm a little under the weather, actually.

Amber: Oh, really? Well, if you're not feeling well, then we can just do this another time.

Rick: No, come on. Now, we brought your favorite food, your favorite wine. So all you have to do is sit back, relax, put your feet up and let your kids take care of you for a change.

Brooke: Honey, you really didn't have to do this.

Rick: Oh, yeah, we did. You know, we're worried about you. It's not like you to miss work.

Brooke: Oh, I just needed some time to think.

Rick: I know. You've been depressed and all that stuff with grandpa Logan and Ridge didn't work out quite the way you wanted. But we're not going to talk about that tonight, okay?

Amber: Yeah, only happy topics.

Rick: Yeah, like the baby.

Brooke: Oh. Your baby.

Rick: Well, yeah. Whose did you think?

Massimo: Sally, I know how angry you are over Macy's death.

Sally: You can't know. You weren't there. You don't know what they did to her, how they used her. She was nothing to them. She was just a tool, a distraction to keep Thorne away from Brooke. And when that didn't work, and when Thorne deserted Macy, they deserted her, too. And when I went to them and begged them for help, they laughed at me. Well, now they are going to learn what that is like. They are finally going to learn what it is like to be held up to public scorn and ridicule.

Massimo: What will you gain from that?

Sally: Satisfaction.

Massimo: No, no, no, no, no. Sally, no. There is no satisfaction in revenge. And if you insist on going on with this -- if you reveal to the world that Ridge is my son, will that bring your daughter back? Hmm? But it will cost me my son.

Sally: That's not true --

Massimo: Sally, look. You were there today. You heard what Stephanie said. They would close ranks on me. And then, the Forrester’s will have taken both our children. Is that what you want?

Bridget: I'm really glad we're doing this. You know, I kind of get worried about her in this big house all by herself.

Rick: I know. I really feel like I should check in on her more often. But with work and school and little Eric --

Amber: And your demanding pregnant wife.

Bridget: When I call, we don't really have much to say to each other. I even mention Deacon, she gets all quiet and depressed.

Rick: Well, what do you expect? She's only looking out for you.

Bridget: I know, I know. It's all coming from a good place. She's afraid he's going to break my heart.

Rick: And she has every right to be afraid of that, you know? She knows that Deacon cheated on you.

Bridget: Well, that's had a lot to do with her pressuring him to divorce me. But I don't even want to talk about this right now. It just makes me sad. Deacon and I are doing great. I just wish she could be happy for us.

Rick: It's too soon.

Amber: But she'll get used to the idea.

Bridget: Yeah, I hope so. Mom's always been my best friend. This distance between us feels so weird. I miss her.

Amber: I know. Just try and be patient. Deacon loves you, and he's treating you well. And I'm sure, as time goes on, then she'll get more and more used to the idea.

Sally: You have a plan?

Massimo: Well, there's an idea that I've been toying with.

Sally: Oh? Well, let's hear it.

Massimo: No, no, no, no, no. I can't discuss it.

Sally: Massimo, don't do this. Don't try and get around me.

Massimo: Sally --

Sally: These cheap tricks.

Massimo: You know me better than most. Can you possibly believe that I would allow this to go on this way, letting my son think that Eric Forrester is his father?

Sally: Yes. I believe you would do that because it's what Stephanie wants. And for some strange reason you are still so infatuated with her, you will do anything she asks. And that is a great tragedy for you, Massimo. 'Cause she doesn't feel that way about you. You have no future with her.

Massimo: Well, I'm beginning to realize that.

Sally: I wish I could believe that.

Massimo: What?

Sally: Massimo, if I could believe that you are really ready to put out that torch you've been carrying for Stephanie all these years and make the truth about Ridge known in your own time and your own way --

Massimo: I am, and I will.

Sally: I'm not convinced.

Massimo: How do I convince you?

Sally: I don't think you can. I think I'm going to have to handle this in my own way.

Massimo: Well, then give me a chance. What?

Sally: I'm sorry. Suddenly, the air in here got very thick with irony. You are asking me to give you a chance to get over Stephanie? How many times have I asked you, Massimo, to let me help you do that very thing, to let me come into your life and help you? You never gave me that chance.

Massimo: Sally, wait. Wait. Sally, what if I would give you that chance? Would you think about it? Would you -- would you keep the secret about Ridge?

Kristen: He brought back my film. Remember, I dropped it in town?

Tony: You brought it back all the way here?

Zendi: Yes, sir.

Kristen: How did you know where I'd be?

Zendi: You're on your honeymoon, right?

Kristen: Yes. Yes, we are.

Zendi: Everybody on their honeymoon stays in this tent. I've never seen it before on the inside.

Tony: What's your name, little man?

Zendi: Zendi.

Tony: Zendi? I'm Tony.

Zendi: It's very nice to meet you.

Kristen: You have such good manners.

Zendi: They teach us.

Kristen: Who does?

Zendi: Mummy Tisha.

Kristen: That's your mother?

Zendi: No, I don't have a mother. Can I look at your camera?

Tony: Yeah, sure. Here.

Kristen: So, mummy Tisha, she takes care of you?

Zendi: Uh-huh.

Tony: Do you have any brothers and sisters?

Zendi: Not anymore. I used to have a brother.

Kristen: What happened to him?

Zendi: He died.

Tony: Did he get sick?

Zendi: No. It was a car crash. Everybody died in the car crash. I don't like to talk about it.

Kristen: It's okay. We don't have to talk about it. Hey, would you mind if I took your picture?

Zendi: Sure. It doesn't bother me.

Kristen: Great.

Tony: Hey, why don't you two get together, and I'll take the picture of you two.

Kristen: No, Tony, wait. Why don't you just set the timer, and we can put it on the tripod, and we can all get in it.

Tony: Okay. Ooh, ooh, look. We're on TV.

Massimo: Sally, I've been thinking about this.

Sally: What, about you and me? Oh, please. Don't do me any favors. I am nobody's charity case.

Massimo: No, no, no, no, no. Sally, please. No one said that, all right? Of course not. You would be doing me a favor. You'd be giving me the pleasure of your company.

Sally: I would be doing you a favor of not saying anything about Ridge Forrester being your son.

Massimo: Well, for goodness sake, it's a win-win situation for both of us.

Sally: How do you figure that, hmm?

Massimo: Think. The truth about Ridge will eventually come out.

Sally: Well, eventually could take a very long time.

Massimo: And, in the meantime, I have got a lot of ways to keep you entertained.

Sally: Would you care to elaborate on that?

Massimo: Well, all right. Right off the top of my head, how about dinner and dancing at Cafe Russe, invitations to the most glamorous parties in town, hmm? And midnight cruises on my yacht.

Sally: Well, that all sounds terribly glamorous, you're right. But aside from the cruises on the yacht, most of those things are things I can buy for myself. Massimo, all I really want from you is a chance -- a chance to show you how really good we could be together.

Massimo: You're serious?

Sally: I've never been more serious in my life.

Massimo: Okay. I would like that, too, Sally.

Sally: Okay.

Sally: Oh.

Massimo: When can I see you again?

Sally: I'm free tomorrow night.

Massimo: I'll send the limo for you.

Sally: All right. Mojo?

Massimo: Yes?

Sally: Listen. If you and I can really be honest with each other -- really --

Massimo: Mm-hmm?

Sally: -- I think this could be the start of something really special.

Massimo: So do I. Good night, my dear.

Kristen: I want to thank you for bringing me back my film. It was so nice of you.

Zendi: I knew you would be sad.

Kristen: I was. I was very sad. You know, there's a picture of an elephant on there. And he's, like, six feet away from me.

Zendi: Six feet?

Tony: Yeah, yeah.

Kristen: What, you don't believe me? I will send you a copy along with one of the three of us.

Zendi: You're going to send me some pictures?

Kristen: Sure. Sure, but I need your address?

Zendi: I live at haven of hope.

Tony: The orphanage, right?

Zendi: Yeah, but it's a very nice place.

Kristen: I'm sure it is.

Zendi: You want to come see?

Kristen: Yeah. Yeah, you know what? I would love to see where you live. Maybe tomorrow after we get back from going on safari.

Tony: Zendi, I'd offer you a ride home, but I'd have to call the hotel and use one of their cars.

Zendi: No, no! I don't want them to know I was here.

Tony: That's what I thought.

Kristen: But it's such a long walk.

Zendi: I'm used to it.

Tony: Well, then we'll see you tomorrow. Oh, and before I forget, this is for the film.

Zendi: Thank you!

Tony: You're welcome.

Zendi: Good-bye. See you tomorrow!

Tony: Take care.

Kristen: Bye. Oh, he is such a sweet kid.

Tony: He's a bright kid, too.

Kristen: Do you think his family really died in a car crash?

Tony: No.

Kristen: AIDS?

Tony: It's the leading cause of death out here, but there's such a stigma. I'm sure if he thinks that we knew, that we would reject him.

Kristen: My God. It breaks my heart.

Tony: I know, I know. We'll go over there tomorrow. We'll see what we can do.

Kristen: He is just one of millions, Tony -- millions.

Rick: Mom, you haven't touched your wine.

Brooke: It was really very thoughtful of you. It's just that I'm not feeling very well.

Amber: Well, maybe you should take something.

Bridget: Why don't I go look in the medicine cabinet?

Brooke: No, no. It's okay. I'll be fine.

Bridget: Okay.

Rick: Hey, what are you up to this weekend, budge?

Bridget: Oh, just studying. Why?

Rick: Well, you want to go apartment shopping with me?

What kind of place are you looking for?

Rick: Bigger, you know? We're going to have two kids now, and we want someplace a little closer to work.

Amber: Oh, and it would be so great if it had a pool. You know, because Eric, he loves to swim.

Bridget: Oh, my God. I know the perfect place.

Rick: Where?

Bridget: Here!

Amber: Your mom's house?

Brooke: Honey, I don't think that that's --

Bridget: No, no. Wait, this is great. You guys need a bigger place, and you're living in this huge house all by yourself.

Rick: You know what? For once, Budge, I think you've had a good idea.

Bridget: Oh, thanks a lot.

Brooke: Rick and Amber are going to need their privacy.

Amber: Yeah, you know, she's right. I'm sure your mom doesn't want a bunch of kids running around.

Rick: What are you talking about? Mom loves kids, you know, and we'd have plenty of privacy. Look, I know you're worried that you guys aren't going to get along. But think about it. This could solve a lot of problems for us. I'm going to be traveling a lot for work, and I don't want you to be by yourself. And you know what, Mom? I really want to be here for you, just like you've always been there for us.

Brooke: Don't say that, 'cause it's not true. I've been a horrible mother.

Bridget: What?

Brooke: I've made some terrible mistakes. And you're the ones who have to suffer.

Bridget: Terrible mistakes? Mom, what are you talking about? We're fine. What's going on with you?

Brooke: Oh, Bridget, I love you so much. I don't want anything to come between us.

Bridget: Mom, I love you, too. You are a fantastic mother. In my wildest dreams, I can't think of anything you could ever do that would make me change the way I feel about you. Okay, Mom? Okay?

Brooke: Okay. Okay.
