Antonio: I can't believe that you're here.

Kristen: I had to come. I have missed you so much.

Antonio: Which is why you shouldn't be here. You know, I promised your father that --

Kristen: Don't worry about him.

Antonio: I'm not. I'm worried about you. How have you been?

Kristen: Miserable.

Antonio: That will pass.

Kristen: It has passed. It's passed because I'm not doing it anymore. No, look, the only reason I stayed away this long is because I thought it's what you needed. But it's killing you. It's killing you like it's killing me and I'm not doing it anymore. This is where I belong, right here by your side. And I'm not going to let you push me away.

Ridge: Sorry, I'm late. I just --

Brooke: Oh, it's okay. I've been kind of busy myself today.

Ridge: Yeah, so I see.

Brooke: Hmm?

Ridge: The bed is back?

Brooke: Oh, yes, that's for product testing.

Ridge: Ah. Could you have tested the sheets on your bed at home?

Brooke: Well, that's not the product that I'm testing. This is.

Taylor: I'm telling you, Eric, Brooke has him trapped in her office right now.

Eric: Taylor, they're working in there.

Taylor: Oh, yeah, on the little lingerie line she created so she could sink her claws into --

Eric: Look, I've spoken to Ridge.

Taylor: So have I.

Eric: Then you know that he sees right through her. Ridge is perfectly happy with his life right now with you.

Taylor: No life is perfect, no marriage is tension-free and believe me, Brooke preys on that. One little problem, one little disagreement and wham, she's right there. God, I thought we were done with this. She's like something out of a horror movie or something like the hand that pops up out of the grave and drags --

Eric: Look, Taylor, calm down. Calm down. Each never seen you like this.

Taylor: Come on, my life was just getting back to normal. I've had a lot of trauma this year. And we have children --

Eric: Ridge is not going to forget that, not ever. Now, look... I don't want to cut this short but I don't want Stephanie to come in here and see you this way.

Taylor: She's back?

Eric: She's on her way from the airport right now.

Taylor: Have you told her about what's going on?

Eric: No, I don't want to spoil her first vacation in years. She had a wonderful time. She was -- she was so excited to finally have Brooke out of her life.

Taylor: She's going to find out.

Eric: Yes, she is, because I'm going to be the one to tell her, gently.

Taylor: If you want to do it that way, then I definitely should not be here.

Eric: No, not when you're this upset.

Taylor: Of course I'm upset. She knows all the buttons to push. She knows how to jump on every one of them in her spiked heels.

Stephanie: Bon journo.

Eric: Oh, there you are. You are back. Oh, man, did I miss you.

Stephanie: I missed you too.

Eric: Good, let me see you, come on.

Stephanie: Here I am.

Eric: Lovely.

Stephanie: May I have a big kiss? ready to go r ready t to go

Stephanie: Hello, sweetheart. How are you?

Taylor: How was your cruise?

Stephanie: Oh, it was wonderful. Next time I go, I want to take all of you with me.

Taylor: Sounds like fun.

Stephanie: Oh, you can't even begin to imagine. You can't. Who would ever think you would have a good time on a cruise with your sister? But I did, and I think a lot of it had to do with the fact that Brooke is gone, out of my life, kaput. After all of those years of looking over my shoulder constantly, I just -- I just stopped and smelled the roses. And let me tell you, life is full of roses.

Eric: Well, that was true before you went on your trip.

Stephanie: Yes, I know, but sometimes you don't see the forest for the trees. Especially when you have someone like Brooke hanging over you all the time. You know what I'm talking about.

Taylor: Oh, I know exactly what you're talking about. I've got to go.

Stephanie: Can't you stay and have lunch?

Taylor: I would love to, Stephanie but --

Eric: I was hoping to have you all to myself.

Stephanie: Aren't you sweet. What's going on? Tell me quickly. What was that look?

Eric: What?

Stephanie: Are the children all right?

Taylor: No, everything is fine. The kids are fine, I'm fine, everybody's fine.

Stephanie: What's the problem?

Eric: Actually, there is a problem but we've taken care of it and I want to hear all about your trip.

Stephanie: No, no, no, we have a deal. You're not going to protect me anymore. You're going to tell me the truth about things. What's going on?

Eric: All right. It's about Brooke.

Brooke: Well? Shall we get started?

Ridge: Logan, I came in here to do a fitting.

Brooke: Oh, what else do you think I'm talking about?

Ridge: All right, great. Come on down here.

Brooke: Women don't wear anything unless Ridge is standing in the middle of a room.

Ridge: You want to do the fitting laying down, then?

Brooke: Well, I would like it if we could do it -- in all kinds of positions. Ridge, when you buy shoes, you walk around in them first.

Ridge: Oh, you are really something else.

Brooke: Oh, you don't know the half of it.

Ridge: Actually, I do. Megan told me about your ad campaign, you and me in compromising positions. Oh, there they are.

Brooke: Remind me to fire her.

Ridge: Remind me to give her a hefty raise.

Brooke: They're pretty hot, don't you think?

Ridge: Oh, yeah. Too bad nobody will see them.

Brooke: Ridge.

Ridge: No way, Logan, forget it.

Brooke: You can be uptight in your personal life, that's fine but this is business.

Ridge: Business, oh, yeah.

Brooke: We have the hottest lingerie line in the world with the highest profit margins. Come on, Ridge, what do you think people are buying these little pieces of material for? For us, for our story. That's what they want. We could make millions on this ad campaign.

Ridge: Oh, good, good. I can use that to pay my alimony when Taylor kicks me out. Come on, Logan, you knew there's no way I would go for this.

Brooke: All right, maybe it is a little crass anyway. Trying to profit on feelings that are so deep and so personal. We'll just keep it between you and me. Okay?

Kristen: Come on, tell me this doesn't feel right.

Antonio: Oh, of course it feels right.

Kristen: Then that's all that matters.

Antonio: You don't know what you're saying.

Kristen: I do know what I'm saying. I'm saying that I love you. Don't look so surprised. Tony, what did you think, that that would change? You are the same man.

Antonio: I am not the same man, Kristen. I'm sick, okay? I was healthy, now I'm sick. I was being part of the world, I was contributing. Now I'm like -- I'm different. Okay, I'm alone.

Kristen: You are not alone. You have me, and I love you.

Antonio: You can't do this.

Kristen: Why not?

Antonio: Where is it going to stop, huh? You keep touching me like that, I'm going to want to take all your clothes off and make love to you for days.

Kristen: I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I just miss you. I miss holding you, and I know that it makes it worse.

Antonio: Which is why we can't be together.

Kristen: What am I supposed to do? I need to be with you.

Antonio: I can't give you anything. I have nothing left to give.

Kristen: That is not true. Look, I don't know where we're headed with this, I really don't. I don't know how to make this work. But I know that we need to be together. You're a part of me now, and that is never going to change.

Ridge: You know and I know what's going on here.

Brooke: Oh, good. I was afraid I was being too subtle.

Ridge: This is a rebound thing, Brooke. Just a phase. And any day now, you'll wake up and it will all be over.

Brooke: No, it's not a phase. And you don't want it to be over.

Ridge: Don't I?

Brooke: Why do you keep coming back here?

Ridge: Because, my dear, I have a job to do here. I can put up with all this silliness for a while but it's hard on Taylor and therefore it gets hard on me.

Brooke: Hard on you. Interesting choice of words.

Ridge: Would you maybe try to be a little serious here.

Brooke: I'm trying, rippling, I really am but it's really hard to focus. Come on, look at it, you and me and this great big bed and this little black nighty. Used to be you put those things together and amazing things would happen. But I guess you don't care about that. So back to work. You know, I have this great idea for an accessory for Brooke's bedroom.

Ridge: Accessory, huh?

Brooke: Mm-hmm. I had Henry stitch one up for me. So what do you think? Kind of kinky hmm?

Ridge: Oh,, ah, that is hot.

Brooke: You like it?

Ridge: That is so hot, I think just one little minor adjustment and I think -- late see, what do we have here? There we go. Perfect. Perfect. We're going to make a fortune.

Brooke: Very funny.

Stephanie: Brooke is being difficult?

Eric: Very.

Joanne: Well, I suppose it's understandable, isn't it? I mean, she's been through all the men in the family. She has no one to play with so she's throwing tantrums. Let her throw tantrums. She can't hurt us anymore.

Taylor: Yeah, right.

Stephanie: Wait a minute, miss. You're the psychiatrist. You're the one who should figure out how we can all deal with her.

Taylor: Believe me, I am the last person to help you there. I just had a huge blow-out with her the other day. I'm share you'll be hearing about it.

Stephanie: Why? What was the upset about?

Taylor: That's kind of what happens when someone threatens your family.

Stephanie: What are you talking about? What do you mean, she threatened you?

Taylor: She's completely out of control, okay? I tried to reason with her. I tried to talk to her about it but she doesn't care. She doesn't care less. She could give a damn. She doesn't care if her loses her reputation, her family, her assume. None of that matters, except getting Ridge back!

Stephanie: What are you saying?

Taylor: That's what she told me to my face! She's flat out told me that she was going to do anything she could to get him back, and to hell with my family!

Stephanie: You can't be serious.

Taylor: She told me I might as well leave Ridge now so I could spare the children the trauma of watching their family fall apart.

Stephanie: Has she lost her mind?

Taylor: Yes, that and she is completely out of control. I never wanted to believe a human being can be that evil but what else can you call it? Do you know she looks my three innocent children in the eye after giving them candy and then two seconds after they walked out the door she started bragging to me how she was going to pursue their father and watch their family get broken up?

Stephanie: What have you done about this?

Eric: I talked to Ridge about this.

Stephanie: To Ridge?

Eric: As long as he's committed to Taylor, and he is, there's no problem.

Stephanie: How can you say there's no problem, Eric? Don't, worry. We won't let this happen.

Taylor: We can't stop her.

Stephanie: Yes, we can. I can.

Taylor: How?

Stephanie: Don't you worry about that. You go home, take care of your family. I'll take care of Brooke.

Antonio: You are a very stubborn woman.

Kristen: I know. So you may as well give in now.

Antonio: I can't. And I can't let you do this.

Kristen: You can't let me love you? Tony, you can't stop me from loving you. And in your heart, you really don't want to. Do you? It's all right. It's all right. I am here for you. It's going to be okay.

Ridge: Hey, I heard mother was back. Oh, hi. What are you doing here?

Taylor: I'm just sitting here talking to your dad.

Ridge: About Brooke?

Taylor: Yes.

Ridge: Dad, uh, look, can we please not tell mother about this situation.

Eric: Too late, Ridge.

Taylor: Your mother's-her way to Brooke's office right now.

Ridge: What? Why would you let her do this? She's going to take Brooke's head off.

Taylor: Don't you think somebody needs to set her straight?

Ridge: Why, it's just going to make it worse.

Taylor: How? How can things possibly get any worse?

Ridge: Brooke is very vulnerable right now.

Taylor: Oh, my God, I am going to throw up.

Ridge: Look, I know we don't see this eye to eye but that really is where all of this is coming from.

Taylor: You know what? I don't care. I don't care how vulnerable Brooke s she doesn't care how vulnerable I am. I just want her to go away. Maybe your mother can make that happen.

Brooke: No, not yet. He'll be back. Speak of the devil. I knew you couldn't resist. No, no, no, don't talk. No sight, no sound. Just touch. That's one of my favorite senses. Well, with the exception of taste. Come closer. Ooh, you give me the chills just being near you. Oh, you're teasing me. Hmm, feels good. Oh, honey, that's a little tight. That's tight. Ow, ow! Oh, Stephanie!

Stephanie: Quite a welcome home.

Brooke: Yeah. Well, I thought you were --

Stephanie: Yes?

Brooke: Obviously, I thought you were somebody else.

Stephanie: Obviously. I can't imagine who.

Brooke: Oh, so you heard, right? Ridge and I are getting back together.

Stephanie: Oh.

Brooke: Mm-hmm.

Stephanie: You stay away from him. You stay away from him and his family or so help me, Brooke --

Brooke: Or what, Stephanie? What are you going to do? Nothing. Because Ridge wants me and i want him and there's really nothing that you can do about it.

Stephanie: Oh, there's nothing that I can do about it, hmm? That's what it is, eh? I think you forget something... There's one important thing that stands between you and Ridge getting back together. Me. Now, we've played this game for a long time. A long time. I've beaten you every single time and I'm going to beat you this time.

Brooke: (Laughing) oh, Stephanie... Your days of controlling me are over. Because I've changed. You know, I'm not fighting for Your acceptance any more, because it really doesn't matter to me. The only thing that matters to me is Ridge. And I'm going to have him. And there's nothing that anybody can do about it. Even you.
