Clarke: I want to make you my bride again, Kristen. Please, tell me you'll marry me.

Taylor: Bridget, this is a surprise. I don't see you very often. How are you doing?

Bridget: Good. Everything's good. Deacon and I couldn't be happier.

Taylor: That's great. So what brings you by?

Bridget: Um, I kind of have a problem. Do you have a few minutes?

Taylor: Sure.

Bridget: It's about mom.

Taylor: What about your mom?

Bridget: Well, you know Thorne had the marriage annulled.

Taylor: Of course.

Bridget: And I guess you know why.

Taylor: Do you?

Bridget: Yeah.

Taylor: She told you?

Bridget: Well, she told my husband in so many words. Taylor, my mom needs help.

Taylor: Well, I won't argue that.

Bridget: Do you think you could talk to her?

Taylor: Me?!

Bridget: Well, you're the psychiatrist in the family.

Taylor: Bridget, Bridget, she has feelings for my husband.

Bridget: She has feelings, but, Taylor; she's always had those. She wouldn't act on them. Taylor, Ridge is married to you. Mom would never --

Taylor: Listen to me, Bridget; we really should not be talking about this.

Bridget: Why not? Wait a minute. You're not telling me she's done something?

Taylor: Bridget, go see your mother.

Bridget: Taylor, what has she done? Is my mother making moves on Ridge? Is that what's going on?

Sally: Oh, Antonio, I cannot tell you how glad I am to have you back here. Things got a little behind, but I know you are gonna get things movin' and shakin' again, right?

Tony: Sally, wait. I didn't agree to come back to work.

Sally: What are you talking about? We had an agreement.

Tony: Yeah, look, I appreciate all your support, but I mean, I have a lot to deal with right now.

Sally: All right. Now you're here, and you're dealing with it.

Tony: One step at a time, okay?

Sally: All right. All right, my reluctant hero. Anything you say. Anything you say. Now, c we go in? Come on. [Laughter]

Tony: What is this, Sally?

Sofia: Welcome back, mi amore.

Sally: This is a celebration to welcome our magnificent matador back into Spectra's bullring, because things have really been dull there without him. [Cheers and applause]

Darla: Tony, come here, baby. Welcome home. Welcome home. Welcome home.

Co-worker 1: Welcome back.

Co-worker 2: Good to see you.

Clarke: Hey, it's not gonna disappear. You want to take a closer look?

Kristen: Clarke -- Clarke, wait. [Laughter]

Clarke: What?

Kristen: I'm not laughing at you.

Clarke: No, you're laughing with me all the way to the altar.

Kristen: You are a dear, sweet -- let me look at it. Wow!

Clarke: Mm-hmm.

Kristen: Must be four, five carats at least.

Clarke: Well, you know, you're a five-carat kind of girl.

Kristen: When did you buy this?

Clarke: On my way here.

Kristen: So, is it real?

Clarke: Well, you can't tell, can you?

Kristen: Well, it looks like a genuine diamond.

Clarke: You know, that's what I thought when I first saw it.

Kristen: Right, then you saw the price.

Clarke: Mm-hmm.

Kristen: Aw. [laughter]

Clarke: You know, if you say yes, I will work day and night to replace that with the real thing. I'm serious. Come on, Kris. We'll be the toast of the town - - "Clarke and Kristen" -- "Kristen and Clarke, together again." With my beauty, your brains, we could have a crackup of a good time. Kris, I love you so. And I could make you so happy.

Kristen: Clarke, you know, I haven't laughed this much since -- well, since

Clarke: Hey, it's over. Don't even think about Tony, okay? It's time to think about the future. It's as bright as your beautiful eyes. Kris, we can make it together. All you have to do is say yes.

Darla: It's so good to have you back! [Cheers]

Sally: All right. All right, everybody. Ole, ole, ole! It is fiesta time. Now, listen, we've got a lot of very expensive food and wine available in the lounge, so everybody's invited. I want you to get your appetites up. Get the rest of the employees, and go over there and party! [Cheers and applause] and Tony will be with you in just a few minutes.

Sofia: Everybody is so happy you're here, mi amore.

Sally: So, are we having fun yet, genius?

Tony: They're a wonderful group.

Darla: Aren't they? And they are so crazy about you, Tony.

Tony: They don't really know me, Darla. Neither do you.

Sally: Yes, they do, better than you know.

Tony: You didn't? You told them?

Darla: Oh, Tony, about your HIV? Of course she did.

Tony: Sally?

Sally: It's all right. You don't have to wear it like a scarlet letter on your forehead, but you don't have to hide it either, you know.

Tony: I would like that to be my decision, Sally!

Sally: Fine, but you need these people, Antonio. You need the love and support they can give you. They do love you, you know. This party was their idea, not mine.

Darla: God, Tony, don't you get it? It doesn't matter that you're HIV-positive, 'cause we are all here for you. We always will be.

Tony: Look, I don't mean to sound like an ingrate, okay? You're all wonderful people, you know, probably better than I deserve, but you don't know what it's like for something like this to happen in your life when you're so young. It changes everything, okay?

Bridget: Taylor, you have to tell me.

Taylor: Bridget, you really do want to leave this alone.

Bridget: No, I don't believe she would do this. Maybe she was just flirting. You know how she is. Whenever she's around Ridge, she gets all crazy.

Taylor: It was more than just flirting.

Bridget: You have kids -- my nieces and nephew -- she loves them. She would never try to break up their family.

Taylor: That's exactly what she's trying to do. Listen, Bridget, I don't want you to be a part of this. Ridge and I can handle it.

Bridget: If this is true, then she's -- she's just out of control.

Taylor: Well, it is completely true, and yes, she's completely out of control.

Bridget: You have to help her, Taylor.

Taylor: Bridget, your mother has to want help, and she doesn't, okay? All she cares about is --

Bridget: -- Getting Ridge back. [Sigh] I mean, are you worried about this? No, Taylor. Ridge is so in love with you. She'll eventually get the message. I mean, Ridge will make sure of that.

Taylor: Well, your mother can be very tenacious.

Bridget: Yeah, but Ridge would never respond. Would he?

Taylor: I hope not.

Bridget: You are worried.

Taylor: Bridget, listen, I don't want to badmouth your mother, especially not to you, but yes, your mother is completely over the edge. She's pressuring Ridge like never before. She doesn't care who it hurts. She doesn't care if it hurts me or my children. All she cares about is Ridge and trying to win him back.

Bridget: Okay, but what can I do, Taylor? I have to do something. Please, tell me how I can stop my mother.

Sally: Darla, would you mind going over to the party and act as the hostess in my place? I want to talk to Antonio alone for a few minutes.

Darla: Sure.

Tony: There's nothing more that you can say, Sally.

Sally: Well, I guess not if you're so determined just to fold up your tents and disappear and spend the rest of your life feeling sorry for yourself.

Tony: You know, your sensitivity is incredible, Sally Spectra.

Sally: Yeah, I know. Everybody says that about me. But I'll tell you something, my friend. Sensitivity isn't what's needed right now. What you need is a swift kick in the pants. I know you got a tough road ahead of you. But so what? Whoever said life was gonna be nothing but a barrel of laughs, and the good times were never gonna end? Welcome to the real world, Antonio. For you, it is living with HIV. For me, it is trying to get over the senseless death of my daughter. But everybody has their own personal tragedy. You know that. The true measure of a human being, the true measure of someone's character is how they deal with that tragedy, and you, my friend, are sadly lacking in that department.

Tony: I'm only doing the best that I can.

Sally: No, you're not. You're not doing anywhere near your best. What happens to a man with guts and courage when he decides to give it all up the moment the going gets tough? That doesn't take guts or courage. Anyone can do that. You want to give it all up? You want to pack it all in? Fine. Do it. We'll do something with your idea here at Spectra. Maybe it won't be as brilliant as what you would have made it, but we'll do something with it. I'm determined to make it happen. I always do, because I'm a fighter, and when life knocks me hard, knocks me down flat on my back on the mat, I don't want to lie there and feel sorry for myself. I can't wait to get back up and fight again. So, what are you gonna do, Antonio?

Kristen: Clarke, I'm flattered. I really am. But I'm in love with someone else.

Clarke: Someone who can't love you back.

Kristen: HIV doesn't mean you stop loving someone.

Clarke: That's not what Tony wants. He's made that clear.

Kristen: Yes, he has, but that doesn't mean that my feelings just change. I feel as connected to that man as I ever have. I should be with him right now. I should be helping him through this.

Clarke: Kris -- Kris, it will never work.

Kristen: But you don't know that.

Clarke: All right, all right. I don't want to give you any pressure here, okay? Just think of me as plan "B."

Kristen: You can live with that?

Clarke: I can live with anything as long as you and I are together at the end. Kris, I will always be there for you. I have my faults. You know that better than anyone. But I won't put anything before you, and I will always put you first. And I won't be happy unless you are, and then, I will be ecstatic.

Tony: I don't even know if I can create anymore.

Sally: I'll take that chance.

Tony: I don't think I want you to. Your whole life is in this business.

Sally: Yeah, that's right. My whole life is in this crazy business, but it's been a good life, Antonio. And it has saved my life more than once. This crumbling old building, this crazy business, these loyal, wonderful employees. They gave me a reason to go on living when I needed it, more than once. Well, all right, now you are looking for a reason to go on. It's all here for you, Antonio. All you have to do is reach out and take it. But don't take it expecting to be able to write your own obituary. You can't do that here. You're going to be much too busy. So what's it gonna be?

Tony: I say thank you. Now get the hell out of here and let me go back to work.

Sally: I'll alert the troops.

Tony: Sally, you're the best.

Sally: Yeah, I know. That's me all right.

Taylor: Listen to me, Bridget. My problems with your mother are just that. They're mine. She's your mother. I don't want you mixed up in this.

Bridget: The only one mixed up around here is mom.

Taylor: Maybe so, but you know, your lecturing her is not going to do anything.

Bridget: I'm not going to lecture her, Taylor. God, I feel sorry for her. She's searching for something. She has been for years, and I really thought she'd found it with Thorne, but she didn't, and now she's right back where she started. All these years, and she never got over Ridge. How much pain can she take?

Taylor: Apparently, a lot.

Bridget: Yeah, well, she's in for a lot more. Oh, God, especially after Stephanie finds out about this. You know how she's gonna react when she finds out my mother is after Ridge. She's gonna want to kill her, Taylor -- absolutely kill her.

[Phone rings]

Tony: Hello. Antonio Dominguez.

Kristen: Tony, it's me.

Tony: Kristen?

Kristen: Tony, I can't go on like this. I need to see you.

Tony: Kristen, no.

Kristen: Tony, I want to be there for you. You need me. I know you do, and I need you so badly. You still feel the same way about me, don't you?

Tony: You can't do this, Kristen. I told you not to call.

Kristen: But you didn't mean it. You were just saying that. Tony, please. I think about you every second, every day, and what we had together, I will never have with anyone else, and I don't want to. Please, I need to see you. We can get through this.

Tony: I can't love you, Kristen. I can't give you what you need.

Kristen: What I need is you.

Tony: And what am I gonna bring into your life, huh? Nothing.

Kristen: What are you talking about? You've already brought so much to my life. Tony, please don't turn me away.

Tony: No, Kristen, look, I told you you  need to move on with your life. Now, go do it. Go do it.

Kristen: No, Tony. No. [Crying] I need you! I love you.
