Eric: You shouldn't have come here, Massimo.

Massimo: I see. This is a bad time.

Eric: There isn't a good time, Massimo. You're not welcome here. Now, I want you to go and I don't want you ever to come back.

Taylor: I've had it. I won't let her do it. I won't go through this again.

Ridge: Calm down and tell me what happened.

Taylor: Brooke is not going to destroy the family.

Ridge: Taylor, I thought we already went through all this. There's nothing going on between me and Brooke.

Taylor: She's after you, Ridge.

Ridge: She's going through a very hard time right now. Her husband just annulled her marriage, the whole family's against her.

Taylor: She told me to leave you, that it would be better for the kids, that I could spare them a lot of trauma instead of them being abandoned by their father.

Ridge: I'll talk to her.

Taylor: I don't know that it will help. She's completely delusional. She's convinced the two of you belong together.

Ridge: Sweetheart, don't let her get to you like this. Brooke is not thinking straight right now. I know this is upsetting, it bothers me, too. But there's no reason to feel threatened. This is a phase. That's all this is, is a phase.

Brooke: It happened, Megan. You get married with the best intentions, all this hope and enthusiasm, and then months later, even years, reality sets in.

Megan: That you married the wrong person.

Brooke: Yes.

Megan: That's what happened with you and Thorne? Really you thought you were in love but you made a mistake?

Brooke: It wasn't that simple. I do love Thorne and Ii wanted to make it work, but like I said...

Megan: Reality sets in.

Brooke: And everyone hurts, Thorne, but I can't deny the feelings I have for Ridge and Ridge can't either and the more we hide this, the attraction gets more destructive.

Megan: Ridge is married, he has three kids with Taylor.

Brooke: Eric and I had two kids and that didn't stop us.

Megan: What are you saying, Ridge is going to leave Taylor?

Brooke: Ridge belongs with me, Megan, he always has.

Megan: I'm sorry, Brooke. Ridge is devoted to those kids.

Brooke: The question is what would be better for the kids, to see their parents together or to see them happy? That's what Ridge has to ask himself. I need to get him to realize that the kids will survive this and maybe they'll even benefit from it.

Megan: How are you going to do that?

Brooke: I don't know. I have to figure that out.

Brooke: Hi! What a surprise! How are you?

Katherine: Have you seen Ridge? We're still trying to find him.

Brooke: You know, I think he and Taylor went down to his office.

Katherine: Okay.

Brooke: But since you're all here, why don't you come in, huh? Guess what? I have a surprise for you. For all of you.

Amber: Dr. Patterson, he's burning up. I'm sorry, he's got a temperature of 103. Can't we do something?

Doctor:  There's no reason to panic. Has Eric been sick recently?

Amber: No, no, he hasn't been sick at all. What's wrong with him?

Doctor: It could be a number of things.

Amber: Should we bring him in?

Doctor.: Monitor his temperature, get a cool washcloth. If his temperature hasn't come down in a few hours or gets higher than 104, come in and see me.

Amber: Okay, thank you.

Deacon: What did he say, we have to bring him to the hospital?

Amber: No, no. He just wants us to watch him. Just watch and wait.

Eric: I told you to leave.

Massimo: Oh, Eric. I'm surprised at you. That's not a very warm welcome for an old friend.

Eric: You're no friend of mine, Massimo. Go on, get out of here.

Massimo: Yes. That's true. You and I were never extremely close, Eric. Stephanie and I knew each other much better. Darn it. I'm truly sorry to hear that she's out of town. Is she going to be gone long?

Eric: It doesn't matter. You'll be long gone when she gets back.

Massimo: I wouldn't count on that, Eric. See, I've got business here in L.A. And it may keep me here for quite a while.

Eric: Let me guess. Problems with customs.

Massimo: Well, the import/export business is very complicated.

Eric: I don't want to hear anything about your business, Massimo. I just want you out of here and don't contact us again.

Massimo: You don't know. Stephanie and I have been in Contact for years. Eric, your wife is one of my closest, dearest friends. She has written letters to me. We've talked on the phone. E-mail, I know all about her life. Everything. You've put her through.

Eric: Excuse me?

Massimo: You thought that she went through all of that alone, the divorce, your marriages to Brooke Logan and Sheila what's her name, carter? Stephanie needed someone that she could confide in, someone she could trust, someone she could depend on.

Eric: You?

Massimo: H'mm. I was there for her then, just as I'm here for her now.

Eric: Massimo, you stay away from my wife.

Massimo: Eric that may be rather difficult. You see, I'm opening a shipping office in long beach. I'm looking for homes here in Beverly Hills. Who knows, perhaps this California lifestyle will agree with me, too.

Deacon: Maybe we should take his temperature again.

Amber: I just did. Let's just give it another minute.

Deacon: Amber, I can't stand to look at him. Come on, there's got to be something we can do.

Amber: Why don't you go call Bridget, I'm sure she's wondering where you are.

Bridget: Hello?

Deacon: Hey, it's me.

Bridget: Where are you?

Deacon: Look, I'm still over at Amber's. The baby's sick.

Bridget: What's wrong?

Deacon: He's got this really high fever and the doctor said we got to watch him so if his temperature gets above 104, we'll take him to the hospital.

Bridget: Oh, my God, it's awful. Can I do something?

Deacon: No, there's. I wanted you to know where I was.

Bridget: I understand completely. You're his father, he needs you, but try to get home, okay, even if it's late, and keep me posted.

Deacon: I will, I will. Thanks, babe.

Taylor: I really appreciate you being here with me.

Ridge: Where else would I be, right?

Taylor: You think what Brooke is going through is just a phase?

Ridge: She's distraught, Taylor, she doesn't know what she's saying.

Taylor: Believe me, she knows, because she's done this before. It is not a phase. It is a pattern.

Ridge: I know it looks that way.

Taylor: Look, I am not misinterpreting this. She is determined to get you back. Do you know how many times she's already told me that to my face?

Ridge: Well, doesn't that tell you anything, doc? Come on, the woman's falling apart.

Taylor: Listen to me, Ridge, this is not her way of coping with Thorne rejecting her, this is not Brooke going out of her mind with grief. She is dangerous, she is plotting a cold-blooded assault on our marriage, and she has to be stopped.

Ridge: Okay. Do you want me to talk to her then?

Taylor: I just want you to take this seriously. I'm trying to tell you that she's dangerous, you know. It was one thing when she was chasing after a married man, but you're a father now, we have a family.

Ridge: Taylor, Brooke is not going to interfere with our family.

Taylor: She better not because I swear if she tries anything, if she does one thing to threaten this family in any way... Please, Ridge, please, keep her away from us. Just please keep her away from me and the kids, okay?

Brooke: Come over here and is I on auntie Brooke's lap, okay? Gosh, what did you eat today? Guess what? I have a surprise for you. You know what it is? Can you guess? No? No?

Ridge: Look, I'll admit Brooke hasn't been on her best behavior but I really don't think she's dangerous.

Taylor: How can you say that? She's trying to undermine the stability of our family.

Ridge: Taylor, our family is fine.

Taylor: Well, I'm not. I'm worried, okay, and you should be, too. You know what she's capable of only this time she's not just after you, she's after my children.

Ridge: Come on, it's crazy.

Taylor: Exactly it is. With this obsession with you, she's so delusional; she's completely lost touch with reality. All this talk again about destiny and fate and undying lie, she's starting that up again and now she's saying she wants to be a step-mother to Thomas and the girls. She really believes that's going to happen. She wants to split up this family. You can't let her threaten the children. Ridge, you are the only one who can get through to her. You have got to keep her away from us. Please, please, sweetheart, I'm asking you to get her out of our lives or I cannot be responsible for what I might do.

Brooke: Thomas, you can look in the desk drawer right there and I bet you there's something you might like. I hope you guys are hungry.

Nanny: You know, Brooke, they just ate.

Brooke: Then it's time for dessert. Who wants a lollipop? There's one for Thomas and phoebe and ducky and...

Thomas: Thank you, aunt Brooke.

Brooke: Oh, you're welcome. I've been saving those for you for a while. I've missed you guys so much. I'm lonely around my house since Bridget moved out, no kids living around. Maybe you guys could come visit. You want to do that? You can play in the game room with all those games and everything. You've been there before, you know that. I know what you want, you probably want to start eating this lollipop, right? Go ahead, here, take it off. Go ahead, Thomas. It's going to be really, really yummy. Which color do you like on the lollipop?

Thomas: I like red.

Brooke: The red?

Brooke: Or the blue?

Thomas: I like the red.

Thomas: I like the blue.

Amber: It's 103.

Deacon: It is not coming down, Amber.

Amber: I don't understand.

Deacon: We gave him something for the fever just like the doctor said.

Amber: It's not working. Okay, we got to call the doctor.

Deacon: The doctor said to wait. I don't care. I don't care what he said. Eric is sick and I'm not going to --

Deacon: Listen, we've got to do exactly what the doctor said, all right?

Amber: I am scared.

Deacon: I know, baby, me too. This little boy means everything to me. Seeing him like this kills me but, amber, we got to do what the doctor said, we got to be patient and we got to listen. Mommy and daddy are here. Nothing's going to happen to you, you here me? Everything's going to be okay. Everything's going to be okay.

Amber: Look, Deacon, you don't have to hang around. I can handle this.

Deacon: Hey, I ain't leaving my son. And I'm not going to leave you either.

Amber: There's really nothing that you can do.

Deacon: Then I'll just stay here.

Amber: Fine. If you want to help, you can get his stuff together if we're going to take him to the hospital.

Deacon: Wait, wait, amber. We'll check his temperature one more time and if it doesn't go down, then we'll take him, okay? All right, come on, check it. What's it say? It went down. It broke.

Amber: He's going to be okay. He's going to be okay.

Deacon: He's going to be fine. He's going to be just fine. Hey, hey, I know, I know. I know, baby. If anything happened to this little guy, I don't know what I'd do.

Amber: No, not my son. Not our son.

Eric: You think this is amusing, you think my family's problems are something to be made light of?

Massimo: On the contrary. I think your family troubles are extremely disturbing. All the tragedies that Stephanie has had to suffer through. It breaks my heart, Eric, to see such an incredible woman in so much pain.

Eric: Stephanie is not in any pain.

Massimo: Are you telling me that Brooke Logan is not a threat to your family?

Eric: That's none of your business.

Massimo: Eric, Stephanie is my friend. I am concerned.

Eric: Massimo, I don't want your concern. I don't want you anywhere near my family. You are trouble. And if you think I'm going to let you get anywhere near my wife, you think again. Now get out. I'm running a business here. A legitimate business. Go on, get out!

Brooke: It's got big swirlies and if you your fingers all over, it's going to get really sticky, too.

Katherine: Brooke, we need to get going.

Brooke: Oh, all right. Okay. Give auntie Brooke a kiss good-bye. You know what? Remember what I said about that game room, okay? I love you guys. I love you as if you were my own kids.

Taylor: What do you think you're doing? Who gave them this candy?

Brooke: I did.

Taylor: All right, guys, come on. Let's give the candy back, okay? Let's give the candy back to Brooke.

Brooke: It's fine. You can take it home with you.

Taylor: Katherine, I asked you to wait for me in the car. Would you please wait for me at the car?

Katherine: Come on, Thomas.

Megan: I should go, too.

Brooke: Bye. See you soon.

Taylor: Yeah, you should, Megan. I'm going to talk to Brooke alone. Come on, guys.

Brooke: Look, I said all I'm going to say to you. I don't want to discuss it.

Taylor: That's it! I warned you! You stay away from my family.

Brooke: What are you doing?

Taylor: Leave my children alone.

Brooke: God, I only gave them candy.

Taylor: Shut up! Don't give me that innocent act! I know what you're trying to do! Let me tell you something, if you ever interfere with my family or you come anywhere near my children ever again, you will be sorry!

Brooke: Oh, I don't need to listen to this.

Taylor: Don't walk away -- do not walk -- don't walk out of here! I'm not done yet! Get back here!

Brooke: Taylor, I told you I am not going to listen to this.

Taylor: I want you out of my life!

Brooke: Then you know what you have to do. Let Ridge go and I promise I'll never bother you again.

Brooke: Taylor, stop! Stop it!

Taylor: Stay away from him! You are sick! Just go away! You tried to steal my children!

Brooke: I just gave them a lollipop.

Ridge: Brooke, go back to your office!

Taylor: You can't let her do that. She's driving me insane. You've got to keep her away from our children. She has to be stopped! She has to be stopped!
