Eric: How's she doing?

Doctor: Your daughter's improving but she's still very weak. She needs to get some rest.

Brooke: Could we have a few more minutes with her? Please?

Doctor: Okay. I'll give you a couple of moments to say goodbye. But then you've really got to get some sleep. Okay?

Eric: Thanks.

Brooke: We're ready.

Rick: Man, you scared us half to death.

Eric: We're sorry Deacon Sharpe ever took you away from us.

Rick: But you don't have to worry about Deacon Sharpe anymore.

Eric: He's out of your life forever.

Amber: Come on, you're just making things worse.

Deacon: I can't leave until she's all right. Look, I never wanted this. I didn't want Bridget to get hurt.

Amber: You only wanted me and Eric back. You don't care about anything else.

Deacon: Look, something happened after the accident. I should have realized it sooner but I was so focused on you I couldn't see it.

Amber: What?

Deacon: Amber, Bridget isn't just a means to an end to me. These last couple of weeks... I've started developing feelings for her.

Amber: Give it up! She knows the truth. You are in love with me. The con game is over, Deacon.

Deacon: This isn't a game anymore. It's for real.

Antonio: She was dating the man before she was dating me. That means the whole time that I was with Ellen, she was HIV-positive. And you may be too. No. No. Not me. I'm not ill.

Taylor: Okay. Here's a couple more. I think you'll like these.

Kristen: Taylor, this is great. I can't thank you enough.

Taylor: No problem.

Kristen: I would have brought more of my own but I was only planning on being in L.A. for a few days. Meeting Tony has changed everything for me. I can't wait for you to meet him.

Taylor: I take it, then, things went well in Miami? I kind of wondered what happened when Ridge told me Tony didn't come back with you.

Kristen: He just had a couple of last minute things to take care with. He'll be back tonight, which is why I need one of your most alluring ensembles.

Taylor: One that says "welcome home, handsome, I missed you"?

Kristen: Something like that.

Taylor: I think I have something like that but it's stashed in the other room. I'll be right back. (Cell phone ringing)

Kristen: Hello?

Antonio: Hello, my love.

Kristen: Tony, where are you?

Antonio: I'm almost home. I should be landing in around 15 minutes.

Kristen: Did you get dinner on the flight?

Antonio: I wasn't hungry.

Kristen: What would you think if we didn't go out tonight?

Antonio: You don't want to see me?

Kristen: No, I definitely want to see you. I just want you all to myself. I was thinking, I could pop over to your place, make some hors d'oeuvres, open a bottle of wine. What do you think?

Antonio: I think you're reading my mind.

Kristen: Are you sure? You sound a little tired?

Antonio: No, no. It's just been a very long day.

Kristen: Well, I promise to get you into bed early.

Antonio: Well, not too early. It's the fourth of July. We don't want to miss the fireworks.

Kristen: I was thinking we'd make some fireworks of our own.

Antonio: You know what? Hold that thought until I got home.

Kristen: I can't wait!

Antonio: Neither can I.

Amber: You're serious! You're actually starting to have feelings?

Deacon: Yeah.

Amber: That's good. That's really good, Deacon. And if I didn't know better, that might actually sound sincere.

Deacon: I am sincere. Look, I know it's hard to believe.

Amber: It's garbage. It's the same garbage you've been feeding Bridget for months.

Deacon: No, it's not. That's what I'm trying to tell you. Look, I know what a rotten trick I did, tricking her into marrying me. I took the sweetest, most innocent girl I met, and I used those qualities against her. I didn't appreciate them. I didn't appreciate her. But now it's -- now --

Amber: Now you do?

Eric: Goodnight, honey.

Brooke: Good night, honey.

Eric: We'll check back with you first thing in the morning.

Rick: Get some rest.

Brooke: Come on.

Eric: I need to check Bridget's insurance papers.

Brooke: I'll come with you.

Eric: Rick?

Rick: You guys go ahead. I need to find Amber.

Brooke: Okay. Bye.

Rick: Bye, dad.

Amber: Look, I've got to go.

Deacon: Amber, I'm not finished here.

Amber: Yes, you are, Deacon. I mean it. Just leave Bridget alone.

Taylor: How about this one? It's a little bland on the hanger but when you put it on, it looks great. It's really classy.

Kristen: Well, it's a lovely dress, really, but -- oh! What about this one?

Taylor: Well, um, it's a little racy for an evening at home.

Kristen: Perfect!

Antonio: You're in denial, Antonio. I have always been straight with you and I am being straight with you now. You have no choice. The responsible thing to do is to have this blood test and find out if you're HIV-positive.

Deacon: Is she still unconscious?

Doctor: No. She's sleeping. You know, you should go home. Get some rest.

Deacon: I'm not going to leave my wife.

Doctor: Okay.

Announcer: Please fasten your seat belts and return your tray table to the full and upright locked positions. We are beginning our approach to Los Angeles.

Antonio (Thinking): Tony, you can't run from this. You've got to know the truth. You may not be positive. More than likely you're not positive. But you want to know and you want to know now! Because early diagnosis is crucial. If you won't do this for yourself, then do it for Kristen!

Kristen: Tada!

Taylor: Wow!

Kristen: As Tony would say (speaking Spanish)

Taylor: Well, when Tony sees new that dress, he'll barely be able to speak. Although I'm getting the feeling conversation is not what you're looking for. Am I right?

Kristen: You could be right.

Taylor: Are you ready for that? You haven't even known Tony that long.

Kristen: I know. But I feel like I've been waiting for him my whole life. Pretty corny, huh?

Taylor: No. No. I'm happy for you. I think it's great. But I've got to warn you, you know, wine and then fireworks and that dress, it could have serious consequences.

Kristen: I know. I'm counting on it. (Laughing)

Kristen: Thanks again!

Brooke: I just want to peek in on Bridget before I go, okay?

Eric: She's asleep.

Brooke: I just want to check on her. That's all.

Eric: She's all right, Brooke. She's all right.

Brooke: Oh, Eric! I almost -- we almost lost our baby girl!

Eric: We didn't, though. We didn't lose her.

Brooke: No. She's coming home.

Eric: And Deacon Sharpe is out of her life. For good.

Brooke: Did she say anything about him when you were in there with her?

Eric: No. No, I just think she wants to forget about him.

Brooke: Now that Bridget knows the truth he's no threat to us.

Eric: I just hope he realizes that.

Brooke: Well, Deacon is a despicable human being but he's no fool. He won't pursue this. He did everything he could to try to get Amber and little Eric back but it didn't work. It's over and he has to accept that. He has to let it go.

Bridget: Mom?

Deacon: No, baby, it's me. I'm right here.

Bridget: Get out!

Deacon: Look, I know I'm probably the last person you want to see right now.

Bridget: I don't want to see you at all. You make me sick!

Deacon: Yeah, I know. What I did makes me sick right now too. But Bridget, you have to understand. I was out of my head. Your family was trying to take my son and you know how important he is to me. I couldn't let that happen.

Bridget: You used me.

Deacon: Yeah, baby, I did. I can't deny that.

Bridget: I want you to leave.

Deacon: Not before you listen to what I have to say. Please...

Bridget: No! I don't care what you have to say. I want you to go. Now!

Kristen: Oh, the most romantic night of our lives. I'm ready. I'm ready to be with you completely, forever.

Antonio (Thinking): You have no choice! The responsible thing to do is to have 24 hour blood test and -- to have this blood test and find out if you're HIV-positive... You're HIV-positive... You're HIV-positive.

Antonio: No. I can't have it. I -- I can't!

Kristen: Tony, you're home!

Amber: How's Bridget doing?

Rick: The doctor wants to keep her here for a few more days to make sure she's okay. But I think she's going to be fine.

Amber: That is such a relief. Your parents must be thrilled.

Rick: Yeah.

Amber: Where are they anyway?

Rick: I just saw them walking down the hall. They're going home.

Amber: They're not going to stay?

Rick: No. Visiting hours are over. But I was thinking of hanging around to make sure Deacon doesn't pull any stunts.

Amber: He won't. Bridget knows the truth and there's nothing he can say or do to change that.

Rick: I hope you're right.

Amber: Come on. Let's go home.

Rick: I want to ask the nurse when we can come back to visit.

Amber: Okay. You better not be in there, Deacon. If you know what's good for you you'll stay as far away from Bridget as you can.

Deacon: No. I'm not going to leave you like this.

Bridget: Don't pretend you care. I know you don't.

Deacon: You're wrong. The truth is I do care.

Bridget: Don't talk to me about the truth! And don't you dare try to apologize.

Deacon: I am sorry, Bridget. I know what I did was unforgivable. But you've got to believe me. I never thought it was going to go this far. I never went to hurt you. I never even thought I was going to marry you. And I knew what I was doing was wrong, and I hated it while I was doing it. But I thought that was the only way that I could be near my son. I didn't know that --

Bridget: You didn't know what? You didn't know it would hurt me? You didn't know how much I cared about you?

Deacon: Bridget, I didn't even know you at all. But these last few weeks, all the time that we've spent together... Especially since the accident, I've come to realize just how important you are to me.

Bridget: Oh, stop it! Stop lying!

Deacon: I'm not. I'm not. And if you give me the chance, I'll prove it to you.

Bridget: How?

Deacon: I don't know. All I know is that I can't lose you. I won't lose you.

Kristen: I thought you would never get here!

Antonio: I wasn't going to let anything keep me away from you.

Kristen: Good. Because I am so happy to see you! I know, it's ridiculous. We just saw each other.

Antonio: Every moment I'm apart from you, I miss you more and more.

Kristen: I love you, Tony.

Antonio: I love you too. I love you too!

Kristen: Oh, the fireworks are starting! Come on. It's beautiful!

Antonio (Thinking): Tony, you slept with a woman who had AIDS. You need to get tested. For Kristen and for yourself. Take Responsibility. Don't speak to be of responsibility. Don't say a word to anyone Doctor. Not a word!
