Donna: They say you might come out of this, Jake. Not if I can help it. I haven't given up everything so that you can live and go free.
Jenna: Well, it's true.
Matt: Wait a minute, your first day of school, fun?
Jenna: Yeah. I even made a few friends.
Matt: Oh, well, see, that's friends. That's not school. That's completely different.
Jenna: Yeah, but I liked some of my classes.
Matt: Get out of here.
Jenna: I did. And I thought I'd get lost in that big school and I didn't. And, well, whenever I felt a little lost, I just looked at the watch you gave me.
Matt: See that? It works every time. I think we should go out and celebrate.
Jenna: You do?
Matt: Of course.
Matt: It's not every day that a person actually enjoys her first day at a new school.
Jenna: That's true.
Matt: Let's say we go out, grab a hamburger, and see a movie.
Jenna: Ok, that sounds great.
Matt: Let's see what's playing here.
Jenna: What's playing?
Jenna: Felicia, hi! [Laughter] How are you?
Felicia: I'm fine. How are you?
Matt: What am I, chopped liver?
Felicia: Oh, you, too, handsome.
Felicia: I'm sorry.
Matt: Welcome back.
Felicia: Thank you.
Jenna: Isn't this a few days early? I thought Lucas said --
Felicia: Well, I cut my tour short because I couldn't stand it anymore. I missed you guys so much.
Jenna: Oh, well...
Felicia: So, you, go upstairs and pack. We're going home.
Marley: What are you doing here?
Vicky: I own the place. What are you doing here?
Marley: Oh, I thought you were off on your weekend with Ryan. Um, I was hoping that Bridget could help me get my clothes together.
Vicky: Mm, well, she's bowling and I struck out. Come on in.
Marley: What do you mean you struck out? What about your weekend?
Vicky: I cut it short.
Vicky: Do you want me to help you with your clothes?
Marley: What did you do, Vicky?
Vicky: Why do you always think everything is my fault? All right, it was my fault. I -- I ruined things with Ryan.
Marley: You couldn't.
Vicky: Why couldn't I?
Marley: Ryan would never leave you.
Ryan: Married? Oh, that's just wonderful. No, that's great. No, real -- no, honestly. Well, good for Nat. Ok, fine. Ok, all right. Thank you. What is it with these women? I mean, where is their loyalty?
Bartender: I'm just getting back into circulation myself. It's hell.
Ryan: Yeah, well, I'm only about half way through my little brown book here. So there's plenty lot of other fine women to go through.
Bartender: Right. I've been listening to your pitch.
Ryan: Yeah? Picking up some pointers, huh?
Bartender: Your heart's not in it.
Ryan: How's that?
Bartender: I can hear it in your voice. You don't care.
Ryan: I don't care? I don't have any heart? You just watch this, bud. Excuse me, I --
Donna: They tell me that you might be able to hear what people are saying. Everybody says that you're just lying here helpless, Jake. But we know better than that, don't we? Don't we? You don't have to have your eyes open to destroy people's lives. Remember that night -- when you were laughing at me and mocking me and everything that I love? And you were so smug. Well, I know why you were, Jake. I know what you did to Marley. I know what you did! Are you listening?! Can you hear me?! [Whispering] Jake, remember? I tried to take the gun. I took the gun away from you, and you didn't think I would do it, Jake. And I was trying to get it away from you. I couldn't hurt -- I couldn't let you hurt the people that I love --
Michael: You did it. You did it, didn't you? You are guilty.
Sam: Under the pale, starlit sky, the lights of the castle shined through the windows all night long. And in their sleep, Pom, Flora, Alexander, Zephyr, and Arthur can still hear the sound of the music floating up from the ballroom below.
Jamie: "The Travels of Babar."
Sam: [Laughs] Nope.
Jamie: No? Oh, wait a minute, I know, it's, uh, "Babar's little girl."
Sam: Right. Is that right? That's it. I can see you're familiar with the series there, Jamie.
Jamie: Steven and I are major Babar fans.
Sam: Well, we're just getting into it, aren't we, Alli? Why don't we leave uncle Jamie alone now, ok?
Jamie: No, no, no. I'm just looking for my book.
Sam: You sure?
Jamie: Yeah, I'm fine.
Sam: Last word has it that Jake's getting a lot better, huh?
Jamie: Yeah, yeah he is. This one is Steven's favorite. Take a look at this.
Sam: Ah, look at that. Jamie, I didn't have a chance to talk to you since Marley's trial ended.
Jamie: Has it been that long, Sam?
Sam: Yeah. It's great she got off, but it must be rough on her. How's she doing?
Jamie: Donna's confession was a tremendous shock.
Sam: I guess.
Jamie: The whole family's pretty wiped out.
Sam: I don't know how a mother could do that to her own daughter -- let her be arrested when she knew the truth.
Jamie: Beats me.
Sam: I would walk through fire for this kid. I would never let anything happen to her if I could help it. The idea that you could love someone that much and have them deceive you, let you suffer, when you trust them so completely like that, just... come here.
Jamie: Sam, we're not talking about Marley anymore, are we?
Sam: No, I guess we're not.
Jamie: You still have strong feelings for what Amanda did, right?
Sam: Yes, I do. Of course I do.
Jamie: And maybe for Amanda herself?
Sam: Jamie, don't lecture with me. Just don't do it. Alli, let's go, huh?
Jamie: Sam, she's the mother of your daughter. You just can't cut yourself off from her.
Sam: But I don't have a choice, do I? Look, I don't want to talk about Amanda, ok? All I can tell you is that I understand what Marley is going through.
Sam: Hey, Olivia, here we are.
Olivia: Hey, there's my little girl. How are you, pumpkin? Come here, I've missed you. [Laughs]
Sam: Thanks for meeting us here.
Olivia: No, it's no problem. This way I get to see Alli. I hope I'm not interrupting anything.
Sam: No, no, no. Don't worry about it. I was just going to tell Jamie at least one good thing has come out of this whole mess with Jake now that you and Marley can be together. That's how it should be when two people love each other.
Marley: Vicky, you'll get Ryan back.
Vicky: No, not this time.
Marley: You have this thing, this way of getting people to give you a second chance.
Vicky: You have this way of smiling when you take a cheap shot at me.
Marley: That's not what I'm doing.
Vicky: Do you want your clothes?
Marley: I've seen Ryan with you. He cares for you; he'll give you another chance.
Vicky: You don't understand. Ryan would give me a hundred chances. That's the kind of guy he is.
Marley: Then what's the problem?
Vicky: Me! Ryan's gone because I told him I want it that way.
Marley: I thought you loved him.
Vicky: Yes, love, the emotion that solves everything.
Marley: Now I really don't understand.
Vicky: Mom loves Dad, right?
Marley: So she says.
Vicky: Living proof that love just ain't enough.
Marley: You're not her.
Vicky: No, but I'm not perfect either. So what happens the day that Ryan gets a gut load of all my imperfections and then he dumps me?
Marley: Well, you've certainly fixed that. Having him dump you now is a perfect solution.
Vicky: Well, I didn't see any other way to get out of it.
Marley: You shouldn't have been looking for a way out of it in the first place.
Vicky: I really wanted it to work with Ryan. I really did. He was everything I ever wanted.
Marley: Well, for heaven sakes, Vicky...
Vicky: But if I kept going with it, I knew that I would ruin it.
Vicky: I would just find a way. I did with you, right?
Marley: Vicky, you have never walked away from something you really want.
Vicky: Yeah, well, maybe I'm getting smarter.
Marley: It doesn't sound smart to me.
Vicky: We don't exactly have a great track record. Mom's marriage, mine, yours. They've all gone down the tubes.
Marley: And every time it was because of Jake.
Felicia: So, what do you think is taking her so long?
Lucas: She's packing, Felicia.
Felicia: Yeah, but for two hours?
Lucas: She's been up there 10 minutes.
Matt: I'll go see what's keeping her.
Felicia: Oh, good. Thank you, Matt. I appreciate it.
Lucas: Honey, what's the rush?
Felicia: Well, I'd like to get her home. She has homework. Tomorrow is school. And if I can get her settled in, that means you and I can have some time together.
Felicia: You like that, don't you?
Matt: I'll take this one here. Whoa, boy.
Jenna: I still have some other things I have to pack.
Felicia: Honey, that's all right. We can pick them up tomorrow. All right? It's getting late and I want you to have a good dinner. You haven't had dinner, have you?
Jenna: No, but I'm not really --
Felicia: Good. We'll go home, we'll talk and put everything away. I can help you with that. All right. Matthew, do me a favor and take that out to the car, would you?
Jenna: Um, but Matt and I --
Matt: Jenna, we can go to a movie another time. It's fine.
Felicia: Oh, well wait a minute, you had plans for tonight?
Matt: Oh, no, no. It's ok.
Lucas: No, it isn't ok. Why don't you two go to the movies and wherever else you were going. We'll pick up Jenna later.
Matt: No, listen, if you wanted her to spend the night with you tonight, it's fine. It's ok.
Felicia: It's just that, you know, tomorrow is a school day and --
Lucas: Let her go.
Jenna: You all are talking as if I'm not even here.
Felicia: No, no. You're here. We know
Felicia: Matthew, you ok?
Matt: You kidding me, come on. It was a spur-of-the-moment thing. It's fine.
Felicia: Ok, good, thank you.
Matt: Excuse me.
Matt: Never a dull moment around here, huh?
Matt: Hi, Lindsey, come on in.
Lindsey: Oh no, you have company.
Matt: Don't worry about it.
Lindsey: I should have called. Hi, Jenna.
Jenna: Oh, hi.
Lindsey: Don't tell me you're leaving?
Jenna: Yeah, I am.
Lindsey: Oh, that's too bad. I bet you'll be glad to be going back to where you belong.
Matt: Lucas, Felicia -- Lindsey. Lindsey -- Lucas, Felicia. Did I do that, do that? [Laughter]
Felicia: Hello, Lindsey. Nice to meet you.
Lindsey: Nice to meet you, Ms. Gallant. I'm a big fan of your writing, not to mention your talk show.
Felicia: Well, thank you.
Lindsey: So I guess you're going right now, huh?
Jenna: Yeah, I guess so.
Lindsey: I tell you, no matter how much fun it is to stay with friends, it's always so good to get back into your own bed at night.
Felicia: Yes, that is true.
Lindsey: Don't you think?
Jenna: I'm going to go get my coat, ok? Excuse me.
Lindsey: So, Matthew...
Lindsey: Are you free this evening?
Matt: Actually, I am.
Lindsey: Oh, good. I am so panicked about my bio midterm. Matthew is incredible at biology.
Felicia: Yeah, I bet. [Laughs]
Lindsey: So I was wondering if you'd be an angel and tutor me this evening?
Matt: Well, I don't see why not.
Vicky: Oh no, Bridget. Thanks for the offer, but Steven's with Jamie tonight. No, I wouldn't be very good company. I'm looking forward to a night all by myself. Besides, I know how important this is to you. If the Sirens beat the She-devils, you go to the semi-finals, right? Well, go get 'em, tiger. Bye. [Sighs] [Mumbles]
[Music starts playing]
Vicky: Who am I kidding -- I'm gonna read a book. Ok. "Love Connection." "Love Boat." "I Love Lucy." [Groans] Argh! [Sighs] I can't even play solitaire right. [Sighs] It's ok, Vicky, you're just not the solitaire woman. You know, in spite of everything I've been through, you're still great looking.
Amanda: So it seems as if you and Vicky aren't seeing very much of each other anymore?
Ryan: Yeah, try at all.
Amanda: You broke up?
Ryan: Which is fine by me, believe me.
Amanda: Oh, hey, I do.
Ryan: Vicky is behind me and I couldn't be happier. So what's your story?
Amanda: No story.
Ryan: Oh, so you always show up looking this sensational when you're alone?
Amanda: I had a dinner -- business dinner.
Amanda: It's over now. But thank you.
Amanda: For the sensational.
Ryan: So does that mean you're free for the evening?
Amanda: Yeah. I was just going to go home and spend some time with Alli... my little girl.
Ryan: Oh, look, I'm sorry. If you have to --
Amanda: No, look, my dinner went so late, she's probably asleep by now.
Ryan: So we can stay here?
Ryan: Yeah, I thought maybe we could...talk or something.
Amanda: We are talking.
Ryan: Ok. How about go for a drive? [Sighs]
Ryan: I am so rusty at this. [Laughs]
Amanda: Are you asking me on a date?
Ryan: Yeah, I guess. [Laughter]
Ryan: No, I -- yes, I am. Would you like to go out?
Amanda: Yes. Just let me make one phone call home to tell them I'll be late.
Ryan: Yeah, ok.
Amanda: See, you're not as rusty as you think.
Amanda: What are you doing answering the phone?
Sam: Well I was just visiting Alli. I just put her to sleep actually.
Amanda: Oh that's...great. Nobody told me.
Sam: Who do you want to talk to?
Amanda: Nobody in particular, actually. Would you take a message for me? Just write a note that I'm going to be late tonight.
Sam: Yeah, sure. Meeting run late?
Amanda: No. No, I have a date.
Donna: Shooting Jake is the least of my sins.
Michael: Just tell me what's going on here, all right? Come on. Will you talk to me, damn it? Tell me. Come on. How can you be this way?
Donna: I'm not being anything but honest.
Michael: Donna, you are facing a long term in jail.
Donna: I know that.
Michael: Our family is in a shambles, and you stand here playing games with me?
Donna: I'm not playing games.
Michael: Don't you think I deserve to know the truth?
Donna: You're hurting me, Michael.
Michael: Is that the way it was with Jake, Donna?
Michael: Did Jake hurt you, huh? Rough you up a little bit? Did he threaten you?
Donna: You don't want to hear this.
Michael: Oh, yes I do, Donna. I want to hear this. You're not going to con your way out of this one.
Donna: I'm not trying to.
Michael: Well, then answer my questions.
Donna: I can't do this.
Michael: Can't do what, Donna? You can certainly shoot a man, but you can't answer my questions? Come on, you must have a very vivid memory of what happened that night.
Donna: You don't know what it's like.
Michael: I know what it's like. I've been in a war, Donna. I know what it's like.
Donna: Don't do this to me, Michael.
Michael: Then tell me. Tell me what happened.
Donna: I shot him. I picked up a gun and I shot him.
Michael: Mm-hmm. Ok, where was the gun, Donna?
Donna: I told you. I told everybody when I testified in court.
Michael: Ok, it was on the floor? Isn't that what you said?
Donna: No, no.
Michael: Well, where, Donna?
Donna: It was in his drawer. He kept his gun in the drawer.
Michael: Oh, I see, you just reached down in a drawer, picked up a gun, and shot him in cold blood. Is that right?
Donna: No, no.
Michael: Well, then what, Donna?
Donna: He --
Michael: He what? He what? What did Jake do, Donna?
Donna: He came at me.
Michael: He came at you? Donna, that's not what you said at the trial. You said he stood up at the trial.
Donna: No, I -- I'm sure that I said --
Michael: Come on, Donna, get your story straight. Damn it, I know you. I've seen you angry. I've seen you every way, and I know sure as hell you could never shoot anyone.
Donna: I'm sorry. All right, I'm sorry. I've ruined everything. But at least our daughters are safe. My whole life I've only thought about myself. And maybe now this will make up for it.
Marley: Actually, Jamie's not expecting me, Hilda.
Hilda: I'm sure Dr. Frame will be happy to see you. I'll just go get him for you right now.
Marley: Oh, thank you.
Lindsey: We could study here.
Matt: Um, yeah, I guess we could. I think it would be a little too distracting, though.
Lindsey: Oh, come on. You can handle it, can't you?
Matt: [Chuckles] Yeah. No, I don't think I can.
Lindsey: [Laughs] Even if I promised to keep my hands off of you?
Matt: Well, that would help. Except there are my hands to consider.
Lindsey: [Laughs] Hadn't thought of that.
Matt: Maybe we should go to the library?
Lindsey: I'll give you a lift.
Matt: Great. Oh, wait, not great. I still have a few things to do here first.
Lindsey: Oh. Ok, don't be long, will you?
Matt: I'll get there as soon as I can.
Lindsey: Mm. Good. [Laughs]
Matt: Maybe I'll walk you to your car.
Marley: [Sighs] Oh.
Jamie: I'm sorry. I shouldn't have snuck up on you. You ok?
Marley: It's ok. Yes, I'm fine.
Sam: A date?
Sam: With who?
Amanda: Ryan Harrison.
Sam: Isn't he going with Vicky Hudson?
Amanda: Why do you ask?
Sam: Just curious.
Amanda: So you will tell them that I'm going to be late?
Sam: Yeah, sure. Have a good time.
Amanda: Thanks, I will.
Ryan: I got you another non-alcoholic beverage, with an extra umbrella and another shot of cranberry juice just to be safe.
Amanda: Thanks. [Laughs]
Ryan: So is everything ok at home?
Ryan: Yeah? So we're all set.
Amanda: Yeah. So here's to a fun evening.
Ryan: Cheers. Are you sure everything's fine?
Amanda: Why are you asking me?
Ryan: Well, you don't look as happy as you did before.
Amanda: Sam answered the phone. It just kind of threw me.
Ryan: He's at home?
Amanda: Visiting Alli.
Ryan: I see. You two -- you two had a divorce a little while ago, didn't you?
Amanda: How'd you know that?
Amanda: Oh yeah, of course. Yeah, the past year has been pretty rough.
Ryan: I'm sorry.
Amanda: So am I. But I'm trying to move on. That is, if you can.
Ryan: I've been feeling the same way. Except for the fact that that's kind of dumb because how can you move on from something that never really happened to begin with?
Amanda: I don't know, it didn't look that way to me.
Ryan: Oh no, Vicky and I are finished. Believe me, I was there.
Amanda: So, you're not hurt by this at all?
Ryan: Nope. Not in the least. She and I are through, believe you me.
Amanda: So you're through, huh?
Amanda: You mind if we leave here?
Ryan: No, Amanda, I'm fine. Really.
Amanda: I'm not. I'm very uncomfortable.
Ryan: Oh, right. I'll get us our coats and I'll be right back.
Vicky: Hello, Ryan.
Vicky: Amanda Fowler, huh?
Ryan: Don't start, Vicky.
Vicky: Oh well, talk about bouncing back.
Ryan: Look, don't blame this on me.
Vicky: I'm not. I didn't mean it that way.
Ryan: Yes you did.
Vicky: No, I didn't. I was just talking to hear myself talk.
Ryan: No you weren't.
Vicky: What I should have said, what I really meant to say, was that I'm glad you're ok.
Ryan: I'm fine. Just fine.
Amanda: Vicky, listen --
Vicky: Oh, Amanda. Gosh, I didn't even see you there.
Amanda: [Scoffs] I don't know what's going on between you and Ryan. I know there's no love lost between you and me.
Vicky: Stop the presses.
Amanda: But I still think you have a right to know what's going on here.
Vicky: Why? Who cares what's going on?
Amanda: Come on, Vicky, please --
Vicky: No, really. You and Ryan just do whatever you want.
Vicky: But... I do know you. So don't hurt him.
Ryan: Ready to go, Amanda?
Vicky: Have a good time.
Felicia: So your first class is English.
Jenna: Yeah, right.
Felicia: And who is your teacher again?
Lucas: She told you, Fanny.
Felicia: I know. It's not a crime to ask, is it? You can tell me again.
Jenna: Dr. Lawton.
Felicia: Oh, right. Doctor. See, I told you this was a good school, didn't I? Do you like him?
Jenna: It's a her.
Jenna: And, yeah, she's very nice.
Felicia: Good. And what -- oh, thank you, dear. And what do you have after English?
Jenna: After English I have study period and then I have Advanced Algebra.
Felicia: Really, advanced.
Felicia: I'm impressed. I'm always in awe of people who do well in math. I wasn't very good in algebra and I was even worse in geometry.
Jenna: Listen, I hope you don't mind, but I want to start unpacking, ok?
Felicia: Oh sure, sure. Unpack. I'll think about getting some dinner. You are hungry, aren't you?
Jenna: Um, no, not really.
Felicia: No? Well, we could just get some sandwiches. How does that sound?
Jenna: Um, yeah, sure. Whatever you want.
Felicia: Honey, are you glad to be home?
Jenna: I'm not really sure I know where that is.
Felicia: You think she's ok?
Lucas: Oh, I think she's fine. But I'm wondering about you. You haven't told me about your trip.
Felicia: Oh, there's not much to tell. Hotels and room service. I did an awful lot of smiling.
Lucas: Did you find anything out?
Lucas: Jenna, who her was father was?
Felicia: Oh no. I didn't find out anything. And I did talk to a lot of Gloria's old friends.
Lucas: You're upset.
Felicia: She's not happy to be with me. I knew if I left and I came back, she would be angry.
Lucas: Fanny --
Felicia: I think she feels abandoned for the umpteenth time in her life.
Lucas: She was at the Cory house. That hardly constitutes abandonment.
Lucas: And besides, she knows you care about her.
Felicia: I should never have gone on that tour. I should have canceled it. I wanted to.
Lucas: Are you serious?
Felicia: Yes. You see how upset she is.
Lucas: Yes, but not because you left.
Felicia: Then why?
Lucas: Well, I had a talk with Jenna while you were gone.
Felicia: About me?
Lucas: Actually, your name hardly came up.
Felicia: Oh. Well, what did you talk about?
Lucas: She's got a major case on the guy.
Lucas: You surprise me.
Lucas: Well, you are usually the first person who notices these things.
Felicia: She really does have a crush on Matthew?
Lucas: Yes, yes. And the queen of the romance novels didn't notice. Now isn't this a first?
Felicia: You're loving this, aren't you?
Felicia: Well, don't gloat.
Olivia: I can't get over Alli, she's so grown up. I mean, I keep thinking about her as a little baby. But she's not, she's a little girl.
Sam: Yep, she is.
Olivia: I can't wait for her to start ballet classes. She's so coordinated, I can see it all already. She's going to love it.
Sam: Shakespeare. You're reading Shakespeare.
Olivia: Well, I saw you had a copy on the shelf, so I took it down.
Sam: "Romeo and Juliet."
Olivia: Let me see this. "Art thou gone so?" My lord, my love, my friend? "I must hear from thee every day in the hour for in a minute there are many days: O, by this count I shall be much in years ere I again behold my Romeo."
Sam: You'd make a great Juliet.
Olivia: Well, I might. Now...I think.
Sam: What do you mean? You were terrific when you danced it last fall.
Olivia: It wasn't always that way.
Sam: What are you talking about, huh?
Olivia: I auditioned for the part in New York about a year and a half ago.
Sam: And you got it.
Olivia: Well, they told me that my technique was perfect, but that I had no heart.
Sam: [Chuckles] What a crummy thing to say.
Olivia: Might have been true then. I didn't know you. Getting to know you and falling in love with you and helping you when Amanda did what she did, almost losing you, then finally being with you -- that's -- that's how I found my heart.
Sam: I'm glad.
You want some tea or something?
Olivia: No, thanks. "Farewell! God knows when we shall meet again."
"I have a faint cold fear thrills through my veins that almost freezes up the heat of life." Sam?
Olivia: I have a faint cold fear that your mind is somewhere else. What are you thinking about?
Sam: I wasn't thinking of anything special.
Olivia: Sam, I know you.
Sam: [Chuckles] Ok, it was Alli, you're right. You said it. She's growing up so fast. It was difficult leaving her tonight.
Olivia: I can see that.
Sam: She is growing up so fast. Probably before I know it.
Olivia: Well, I think you have a few years left before she gets her own apartment.
Olivia: Tell me what's really bothering you.
Sam: I'm fine, really.
Sam: I am going to go take a shower while this cools off, ok?
Marley: I still can't make any sense out of it.
Jamie: It didn't help at all to see her?
Marley: No, it did. I'm glad you encouraged me to talk to Donna.
Jamie: I hope so. It must have been pretty painful.
Marley: It was. Especially now since I can't talk to Vicky. It really used to help me when I would talk to her about Donna.
Jamie: I think you still could.
Marley: No, Jamie, I don't think I could ever be close to her again.
Jamie: I'm sorry.
Marley: You're the only person I can trust.
Jamie: Um, I'm not sure that's so true.
Jamie: I'm going to help you get through this. We can start our life together.
Jamie: I want to go back to Antoine's one night this week.
Marley: [Laughs] Ok.
Jamie: Just the two of us. And have a perfect night this time, ok?
Marley: I would like that. I would like for everything to be perfect.
Jenna: Where's Lucas?
Felicia: Oh, he went to get a pizza.
Felicia: Sound good?
Jenna: Yeah, sure.
Felicia: Now I'm not going to ask you what you've been doing since I've been gone. I'm not going to ask you anything about your first day of school. I'm not going to ask you anything.
Jenna: There's really nothing to tell you, Felicia. Everything's really the same.
Felicia: Oh, honey, come on. Let's sit down, all right. We'll just talk.
Felicia: Good? Come on. Sit down.
Felicia: So, tell me, um -- [Laughs] Let's talk about the Corys. Did you have fun there?
Jenna: Yeah, actually, it was really nice staying there. They're very nice.
Felicia: They're nice. Yeah.
Jenna: Matthew's a very nice boy.
Felicia: Oh, Matthew. Did you go to the movies?
Jenna: No, we were going to go today, but --
Jenna: It didn't work out.
Felicia: Luke -- Luke told me something that I really should have figured out all by myself. Of course I didn't.
Jenna: What did he say? What did you find out? What do you know?
Jenna: Oh, yeah.
Felicia: Honey, I think it's lovely.
Jenna: It's not lovely, Felicia, it's not anything. I mean, he's really nice to me and I hope we can be good friends.
Felicia: Just friends?
Jenna: Yeah. I mean -- I don't know. I don't know.
Felicia: What, what? What don't you know? What?
Jenna: I just feel so stupid.
Jenna: Because he's never going to notice me.
Felicia: Honey, what makes you think that?
Jenna: Because I'm a school kid. And I'm boring.
Felicia: Oh, Jenna.
Jenna: And you met Lindsey. I could never compete with that.
Felicia: Of course you can, it's easy.
Jenna: Yeah, right.
Felicia: Honey, you're every bit as pretty as Lindsey. And you're light years more interesting, I'm sure.
Jenna: Well, I don't think Matthew feels the same way.
Felicia: How do you know what he thinks?
Jenna: I don't think he thinks anything. He's obviously not interested in me.
Felicia: Well, then, he would have to be out of his mind.
Jenna: I'm just not his type, Felicia. I guess I have to get used to that.
Felicia: Oh, Jenna, come on now. You're not going to give up that easily, are you?
Jenna: I don't want to talk about Matthew anymore, ok?
Jenna: I'm going to go and finish unpacking.
Felicia: Matthew. Honey, hi. It's Felicia.
Matt: Oh, hi, Felicia.
Felicia: I'm glad I caught you.
Matt: What can I do for you?
Felicia: Well, you know, I, um, well, seeing you tonight, it reminded me that we haven't spent any time together and I'm having a few friends in later on in the week and I was wondering if maybe you could come for dinner?
Matt: Sounds great.
Felicia: I'm feeling a little guilty, you know. I haven't seen much of you since your father left and, well, I'm very angry at myself.
Matt: Ah, don't be.
Felicia: So then you'll come and take me off the hook?
Matt: Sure, that'd be great.
Felicia: Yeah, I think it will be, too.
Olivia: Hi, mind if I join you?
Ryan: I hope this isn't too late.
Amanda: Oh no, no, it's fine.
Amanda: I had a good time. In spite of everything. [Laughter]
Ryan: Yeah. Maybe we can do it again sometime -- the good time part.
Amanda: Yeah, well, that's -- that's a good idea.
Ryan: Well... why do I keep saying "well" all the time?
Ryan: This is the time of night that I think I should say good night and/or kiss you. So, um...
Amanda: Good night.
Good night, Ryan.
Michael: Yes, Stacey. All right. Thank you. She's still trying to figure out who that mystery woman is.
Donna: The one that came into this room? That's wasting her time.
Michael: I don't think so.
Donna: Michael, you have to face reality. I shot Jake. They might be able to prove self-defense, but I pulled the trigger.
Michael: Donna, you're not going to convince me of that.
Donna: I don't have to convince anybody. It's the truth.
Jake: Donna. Michael. There are things I need to tell you. It all comes back to us, Donna -- just you and me. That's the way it all got started. [Whispers] Donna. [Yells] Donna!
Donna. You're trapped now. Just like me. You're going to jail for all the wrong reasons.
