Rick: You're not saying much.
Courtney: Not much to say.
Rick: Look, we have to do this.
Courtney: Couldn't it wait until tomorrow?
Rick: No, we -- there's too much evidence!
Courtney: You got fingerprints on a gun. So what?
Rick: That gun was fired. For all we know, it killed Drew Marsten.
Courtney: "For all we know"?
Rick: Look, I'm not doing this because I like it.
Courtney: I wonder.
Rick: If Mac Cory killed Marsten, he's got to pay, just like anyone else.
Mac: I think everything is going to be ok.
Amanda: She didn't tell him.
Sam: Amanda, where are you going?
Rachel: Did you talk to Matthew?
Amanda: Matthew? No. Why?
Rachel: Because he doesn't seem to be here. I think he's left.
Amanda: No, I haven't even talked to him. I haven't seen him.
Rachel: Oh -- that boy, I'm going to have to talk to him.
Amanda: Why? What's the matter?
Rachel: Nothing. He's got to learn that there are other things more important than what he wants in life. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to spoil anything. Oh, Vince and Mary are here. I didn't think they'd make it. It's ok, sweetie. I -- forget what I said.
Sam: Amanda? Amanda?
Sam: Why did you walk away from me like that?
Amanda: No reason.
Sam: You seemed upset.
Amanda: I guess people have to solve their own problems, huh?
Sam: That's what I've been saying all along.
Amanda: I guess it's up to them.
Rachel: It doesn't matter that you're late. I'm just glad you made it.
Vince: Well, thanks, Rachel.
Mary: We couldn't miss Jamieís big night.
Rachel: Well, the buffet is full of food, and everybody's here, so enjoy yourselves.
Mary: We will. Thanks.
Rachel: I'll see you in a bit.
Mary: Donna's here.
Vince: Don't get yourself all worked up, huh?
Mary: That means that Michaelís probably here, too.
Mary: So, I still don't know if the board is going to allow them to adopt or not.
Vince: That's not your worry.
Mary: I'm the one who has to come up with making some kind of a recommendation, which is going to carry a lot of weight.
Vince: Come on.
Mary: What? No, I don't want to --
Vince: We are going to bury the lioness in her cage. Come on.
Mary: Don't do that. I don't -- I don't -- no --
Vince: Hi, Donna! Don't you look nice tonight.
Donna: Oh, thank you. I -- I feel great.
Mary: Good. That's wonderful.
Donna: Drew Marstenís disappearance has given us all quite a reprieve.
Donna: Well, there'll be no more threats. Everyone's safe now.
Vince: Yeah, that guy was nothing but trouble.
Donna: Right, right. Well, he is gone and Iím certain of that.
Mary: How's Mikey?
Donna: Mikey is -- is wonderful! He's just thriving. I had him at the park all afternoon. He was exhausted. He was practically asleep before Michael and I left tonight.
Vince: Oh, where is Michael?
Donna: Well, he was here. But he had to leave.
Mary: Oh. Oh, I'm sorry we missed him.
Donna: Well, actually, I don't think you will. He's supposed to be gone only a few minutes. It was just some business thing.
Chris: Oh, Michael, I've wanted you for so long. Chris: I love you.
Michael: No. No, you donít.
Michael: Chris, I think you better leave right now.
Chris: What about Mikey? No one's here.
Michael: I'll stay with Mikey.
Chris: Doesn't Donna expect you back at the party?
Michael: I don't want to talk about Donna right now.
Chris: I like Donna very much, but she's not right for you, Michael.
Michael: Chris, look, there is a grave misunderstanding here.
Chris: No, there isnít.
Michael: Yes, there is. Look, I don't know where you got the idea -- I mean, if Iíve given you the idea that for some reason I like you, Iím sorry.
Chris: I knew you wouldn't take the initiative on this. I had to because you're too much of a gentleman.
Michael: No, believe me, I'm not.
Chris: Oh, yes you are. It's one of the things about you I love. You wouldn't leave Donna when she's -- like this.
Michael: Like -- like what?
Chris: Oh, you can't even get her out of the house with you. That can't be much support for you. All she wants to do is spend time with Mikey.
Michael: Chris, I am not going to discuss this with you!
Chris: All right, I understand.
Michael: No, obviously you don't understand.
Chris: Oh, Michael, you don't understand -- I will take the brunt of this. I'll bear the responsibility because I love you.
Michael: Chris, I love my wife.
Chris: Yes. Things change.
Michael: Well, this won't.
Chris: I'm sure it will. I am going to leave.
Michael: No, you are not! You're not going anywhere until you tell me what brought all this on.
Chris: I knew you couldn't let me go.
Vicky: Alli, sweetie, I thought you were going to stay asleep this time. What do you need, honey -- your pacifier? What? Ugh, why do I feel this way? I hope you're ok in there. Please be ok in there.
Vicky: Amanda, when are you coming home?
Zack: Well, hi.
Zack: I enjoyed your set the other night. You were great.
Ronnie: Courtney like it, too?
Zack: I think so.
Ronnie: So, where is she tonight?
Zack: Oh, she's working.
Ronnie: Oh. You actually go places alone?
Zack: Yes, just like you do. Well, now that you're here, would you like a glass of champagne?
Zack: Great. Ok.
Ronnie: You know, I thought about not coming at all. I mean, it's all the same people from the hospital. It gets to be a drag.
Zack: Yeah. Oh -- I heard that you didn't get the head nurse job at the hospice center.
Ronnie: You just had to bring that up, huh?
Zack: I'm sorry.
Ronnie: Well, I wasn't surprised. Obviously, the hospital board seems to think you have to act like a nurse 24 hours a day.
Zack: And not be a chanteuse part-time.
Ronnie: Well, let's just say I get tired of the white hose and shoes sometimes.
Zack: Hmm, sounds reasonable, but I'm a little surprised that you let them get away with the stereotype.
Ronnie: And I suppose you would know exactly what to do, huh?
Zack: Well, I wouldn't sit back and be a martyr.
Ronnie: Oh. You know, it's too bad Courtney couldn't make it tonight
Ronnie: Because you'll have to spend tonight all by yourself.
Julie Ann: Hi. Are you having a good time?
Zack: Uh -- well, I'm happy for Jamie and Lisa.
Julie Ann: That's not what I asked.
Zack: Well, I see that you're alone tonight. What happened to what's-his-name?
Julie Ann: Shane?
Julie Ann: Oh, I didn't have the energy to ask him. I mean, he's nice, but --
Julie Ann: Yeah. You noticed?
Julie Ann: So, why couldn't Courtney come?
Zack: I didn't ask.
Julie Ann: Why not?
Zack: Well, because we're working on opposite sides of the case and it's a little awkward, ok?
Julie Ann: I saw you talking to Ronnie before.
Julie Ann: Now, she's very interesting.
Zack: Well, people can be too interesting.
Liz: Jamie, Lisa, Iím sorry Iím so late.
Jamie: Oh, hi. That's ok.
Lisa: We're glad you're here.
Liz: I know this is an elopement, but I just had to give you a present on your wedding day.
Lisa: Aw, that's sweet.
Jamie: Thank you very much.
Liz: Open it up, please. I had them fix it so you could just lift the lid off.
Liz: It's rather plain, but those things are so helpful when you're entertaining.
Jamie: It's beautiful.
Lisa: Oh, it's beautiful! I don't have any silver.
Liz: Turn it over. Look underneath.
Jamie: Oh. "Jamie and Lisa forever." Thank you very much. That's wonderful.
Lisa: Well, this is our first wedding present. I have to show Felicia. Thank you, Liz.
Liz: No thanks are necessary. Just live happily ever after.
Jamie: Thank you very much. Excuse us.
Liz: Ada, do you ever miss that part of your life?
Ada: What part?
Liz: Oh, being so much in love. When that special person walks into the room, your heart just beats faster.
Ada: At my age, Iím grateful to have my heart beat just the way it does.
Ada: You never give up, do you, Liz?
Liz: Why? Should I?
Ada: Not necessarily.
Mac: Well, there's nothing to worry about, is there?
Rachel: He's probably just over seeing Josie, but I asked him not to.
Mac: We'll deal with it tomorrow. At least things here seem to be going well.
Rachel: Yes, Iím very relieved after talking to Zack.
Mac: So am I.
Rachel: As long as the police aren't going to bother Amanda, that's all I ask.
Mac: Well, that was ludicrous in the first place.
Rachel: Yes, it was. There's Liz.
Mac: Oh, I haven't spoken to Vince and Mary. See you later?
Rachel: They're up there. Ok.
Felicia: Oh, I'm sorry, I'm afraid the restaurant is closed tonight for a private party.
Rick: Yes, we're here on business.
Felicia: Business? What kind of business?
Courtney: We need to speak to Mr. Cory.
Rick: Mac Cory.
Felicia: I see. Um -- all right, if you could just stay right here, I'll try and go find him, all right?
Rick: Yes. Thank you.
Courtney: I hate this.
Rick: It's your job.
Courtney: Well, then I hate my job.
Zack: I thought you were supposed to be working tonight.
Rick: I am.
Zack: Does this have something to do with Amanda?
Rick: No, it doesn't.
Zack: And it had better not. Excuse me.
Mac: I understand you wanted to see me.
Rick: Yes, sir, we do.
Courtney: Oh, we are so sorry to bother you here.
Rick: We need to bring you in for some questioning.
Mac: Questioning? May I ask why?
Rick: Right now, you're a leading suspect for the possible murder of Drew Marsten.
Mac: I had nothing to do with that!
Rick: We have evidence that can place you in Marstenís apartment the night he disappeared.
Mac: But you already knew that. You saw what happened to me yourself!
Rick: I'm afraid you're going to have to come with us.
Vince: So, Cheryl starts classes in the fall.
Mary: And she's in love with Washington.
Rachel: Washington? Isn't that where Scott is?
Mary: Oh, yes. Yes. I think the two of them have found each other again.
Rachel: Oh, isn't that wonderful.
Donna: This is really a wonderful party.
Rachel: Thank you. Where's Michael?
Donna: I don't know. I thought he was only going to be gone for a few minutes. Actually, I was on my way to call him to find out what was keeping him.
Vince: Jake was pretty excited about tonight.
Vince: Yeah, well, he -- of course he didn't say anything, but he spent about two hours getting ready.
Donna: For what?
Vince: He's having dinner with Marley. Didn't she tell you?
Vince: Well, wouldn't it be nice if the two of them got back together again?
Donna: I just want Marley to be happy.
Mary: Rachel, is anything wrong?
Rachel: No. No.
Mac: I will be happy to go with you and answer all your questions.
Mac: But my stepson is leaving here in less than an hour to get married. This party is in honor of him and his fiancťe.
Rick: What are you saying?
Mac: If this can just wait until they leave, I will go immediately with you to headquarters.
Rick: Look, I don't know if we can --
Mac: I don't want Jamie to be thinking about this on his marriage day.
Courtney: Of course. We can wait a few more minutes.
Rick: This is very important, Mr. Cory.
Mac: This is a very happy occasion for my family, and I do not want it spoiled.
Liz: Mac! Mac! Mac! Can I get a picture of you with Jamie and Lisa?
Mac: Yes, of course.
Rick: I don't like waiting.
Courtney: The man is cooperating, all right? Besides, it's a party for Lisa. Let's not make a scene. The last thing we need is a front-page picture of us escorting Mr. Cory from his son's engagement party in the morning edition.
Vicky: Are you having fun, Alli, little bright eyes, huh? Having fun? Did you make your mommy feel this bad, huh? Well, I'm going to get myself some more tea, and then maybe Iíll feel -- better. Baby, I don't want to make your mommy and daddy come home from this party, but I don't know if I can do this.
Vicky: Oh, Alli will just love Bridget. She took care of me when I was your age, and look how I turned out. Never mind. Bridget, please do this. Busy. I can't believe this. Ok, Tops. I'm going to call Tops one more time, try to get in touch with your -- it's busy again. Ok, Alli, have you ever been to Tops in your pajamas? Oh, we're going to get in a cab and go over there, and you're going to be just fine. Oh, you are just going to be the hit of the party. I, on the other hand, am not going to be a welcome sight. I have to do this. I've got no choice.
Vicky: Oh. Ok. Come on -- oh.
Michael: Ah, honey, I'm sorry. Look, I won't be able to make it back to the party. No, no, the business deal went fine. It's just -- well, I got here, and Chris isn't feeling too well, so Iím going to send her home and take care of Mikey myself. Yeah, I know. I know. Well, will you make my apologies to Mac and Rachel? Ok, good. I'll see you in a little while, all right? I love you, too. Bye. No, thank you.
Chris: You didn't tell her the truth.
Michael: I didn't see any need to tell her about this, Chris.
Chris: Does she always call to check up on you?
Michael: We stay in touch. We love each other.
Chris: I love you.
Michael: Chris, you don't even know me.
Chris: Oh, Michael, that's not true. I know how kind you are. I know how loving you can be. I know that I didn't mean for this to happen like this.
Michael: I didn't, either, believe me.
Chris: Well, I understand. If you can't yet admit your feelings for me --
Michael: Chris, wait! There's nothing to admit.
Chris: All right, fine. Whatever you want.
Michael: What I want -- what I want is for you not to say a word about this to anyone, all right? I don't want Donna upset.
Chris: I never realized how deep your feelings were for her.
Michael: Now you do, right?
Chris: Oh, yes. Now I see that you've been taking care of her for so long, you can't even admit the possibility of being with someone else.
Michael: All right, Chris, that's enough. All right, that's enough. What about John?
Chris: What about him?
Michael: Well, you've been going out with John. You're dating --
Chris: I don't want anyone but you.
Michael: Then let me tell you something, Chris. The only reason I have been even cordial to you is because you were going out with John, and because you take care of Mikey on occasion. That is the extent of my feelings for you.
Chris: You don't really care?
Michael: Chris, I would like it if you left.
Chris: I think I made a big fool of myself.
Michael: Look, I won't say a word about this to anybody, not a word.
Chris: All this time, I -- I thought -- oh, I feel so humiliated.
Michael: Why don't we just forget about this, all right?
Chris: Well, I hope someday you can forgive me. I'll not embarrass you any further.
Michael: Great. Just great.
Jamie: Just a few more minutes, and we're out of here.
Lisa: I can hardly wait.
Jamie: You're sure?
Lisa: Of course I'm sure.
Jamie: Well, when I saw you run outside to the balcony after Macís toast --
Lisa: That wasn't cold feet. I told you, I didn't want anybody to see me cry.
Jamie: Well, all brides cry on their wedding day.
Lisa: Could I have another glass of champagne before we go?
Jamie: Hmm. Maybe two.
Lisa: Yeah? What? I'm sorry.
Amanda: Sorry. I didn't mean to startle you.
Lisa: It's ok.
Amanda: I -- I decided that Iím not going to tell Jamie about Vicky.
Lisa: Thank you.
Amanda: But I still think that he should know before you get married. I'm sorry, but that's -- it's just the way I feel. I better get back to Sam.
Jason: Waiter, can I get a -- great service here.
Sheila: I love it here.
Jason: I'm sure you would.
Sheila: What was that, honey?
Jason: I know how much you like it here. Would you like to dance? Oh, yes. Hey, guys.
Vince: Oh, Jason.
Jason: Having fun?
Mary: Yeah. Going to introduce us to your friend?
Jason: Oh, this is --
Jason: Sheila, yeah. See you around.
Zack: Hi, again.
Courtney: I didn't think I would be talking to you again tonight.
Zack: Why not?
Courtney: Well, I figured you would be mad at me for the way Rick and I handled Amanda Fowler's questioning.
Zack: Uh-huh, and you're sure that's not why you're here?
Courtney: I am sure.
Zack: Well, I mean, after the grilling you gave her.
Courtney: You are mad.
Zack: I was. But I figure that we're both mature adults, officers of the court, capable of rising above a professional difference of opinion.
Courtney: I see.
Zack: And I also notice how fabulous you look tonight. Say, would you like to dance?
Courtney: I'd love to, but I shouldnít.
Zack: Oh, come on.
Courtney: No, it wouldn't be right.
Felicia: Oh, it just seems a little strange. She's going to marry Jamie, and she's got that funny little look on her face.
Mitch: What sort of look?
Felicia: Like she's sad or upset about something.
Mitch: It could be, as a prospective bride, that she's nervous, you know. Marriage does that.
Felicia: Yeah, I guess so.
Mitch: I hope you're not going to feel that way.
Felicia: Are you kidding? I'm going to be solid as a rock about the whole thing.
Mitch: Sure. I will remember that.
Felicia: Yeah, ok.
Mitch: She's ok.
Felicia: It's not really just that.
Mitch: What is it?
Felicia: Oh, something happened earlier.
Mitch: Tell me.
Felicia: No, no. It's all right. It's nothing. Come on. Dance.
Rachel: What are they doing here, Mac?
Mac: Lisa works with the police. They're friends of hers.
Rachel: They weren't on the guest list, Mac.
Mac: Maybe they're gate crashers.
Rachel: Would you please level with me?
Mac: Rachel, please be calm.
Rachel: It's Amanda, isn't it? They're here because of Amanda and -- and Drew Marsten.
Rachel: Zack said she didn't do anything wrong, but they don't believe that, do they?
Mac: I just told you it's not that!
Rachel: Then what is it?
Mac: It's me! I wasn't going to tell you until later. They're not here because of Amanda. They want me.
Rachel: You? What do the police want with you?
Mac: Well, I was in Drewís suite when he disappeared.
Rachel: That's not news, Mac.
Mac: Well, evidently they have some new piece of evidence and they want to question me, Rachel.
Rachel: What are you going to do?
Mac: I'm going to cooperate. What else can I do? I persuaded them to wait until Jamie and Lisa leave, then Iím going to headquarters with them.
Mac: Hi, Steven.
Steven: I want to thank you for inviting us. It's been a great party. And the best of luck to your son and your future daughter-in-law.
Mac: Thank you very much. I'm glad you could make it.
Steven: Thank you.
Mac: I will not have this party ruined.
Rachel: It's ruined already, isn't it?
Mac: As far as I know, they're not going to charge me with anything.
Rachel: Charge you?
Mac: Rachel, I am just going to answer some questions and come home. That's it, ok? Maybe I'd better get Zack to go with me.
Rachel: Are you going to tell them everything?
Mac: Everything I can.
Rachel: Mac, you said you saw Sam coming out of Marstenís suite.
Mac: I will have Zack to advise me on that. I'm sure Sam is innocent.
Rachel: So are you.
Mac: Well, you can be sure Iím not going to implicate myself or anybody else in this family.
Rachel: It's unbelievable.
Ada: What's unbelievable?
Mac: How well the party's going.
Rachel: Yeah, it's wonderful.
Ada: Come on, you two. What's the problem?
Mac: Nothing that can't be solved if I could dance with you.
Ada: Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh --
Mac: The whole night through.
Ada: You are -- no -- you are bad, bad person.
Vicky: Sam, Amanda.
Sam: What is it? Is Alli ok?
Vicky: No, Alli's fine. I'm just not feeling good at all.
Amanda: Oh, here.
Sam: Well, what's wrong? Do you got the flu or something?
Vicky: Yeah, something like that. Her.
Vicky: I tried to get someone to take care of her. I'm so sorry.
Vicky: It's just that Iím feeling really bad. I couldn't find anybody. I didn't really want you guys to come home. I'm so sorry.
Sam: That's ok. Do you want us to run you home?
Vicky: No, I've got a cab waiting outside.
Amanda: Are you going to be all right?
Vicky: Yeah, it'll pass. Thanks.
Jamie: What is it?
Lisa: She's here.
Jamie: What? I don't believe this. This girl will stop at nothing.
Lisa: Jamie, let it go. It doesn't matter.
Jamie: It does matter.
Lisa: Jamie --
Amanda: Well, thanks for bringing her over. I hope you feel better.
Amanda: Take care of yourself. I'll call you tomorrow morning and check up on you.
Sam: It's ok.
Vicky: Ok, thanks. I've really got to get out of here. Thank you. I'm sorry. Bye, pumpkin.
Sam: Shh. Shh.
Jamie: What are you doing here?
Jamie: Are you determined to spoil things for Lisa and me?
Vicky: No, I'm -- I didn't mean to --
Jamie: So don't you have the decency to stay away for at least this one night?
Vicky: I never meant to hurt you, Jamie. I never meant to do anything.
Jamie: I have heard that before!
Vicky: Look, I am doing a lot to try to keep you happy. It's not easy for me. You don't even know, ok?
Amanda: Good, she told him.
Sam: She told him what, Amanda?
Amanda: You take care of her. I have to go talk to Jamie.
Sam: Amanda, what are you --
Amanda: Look, I saw you were talking to Vicky.
Amanda: She told me tonight, too. I couldn't believe it.
Jamie: She told you --
Amanda: Well, yeah, I mean, she -- I noticed that she had morning sickness, so she kind of had to tell me.
Jamie: Morning sickness?
Amanda: This has got to be terrible for you, finding out that Vickyís pregnant right as you're about to marry Lisa.
Jamie: Pregnant? What --
Amanda: Well --
Sam: Jamie --
Amanda: She didn't tell you?
Sam: Jamie, Iím sorry, but she's getting awful cranky. We're going to have to split.
Jamie: Huh? Yeah, ok.
Sam: Yeah, look, I'm sorry Iím not going to be able to see you off. Lisa, we got to go. The baby's getting cranky.
Lisa: Oh, sure. That's fine.
Sam: Good luck with the family.
Lisa: Thank you.
Amanda: I guess we better go say goodbye to mom and dad.
Sam: Come on, come on.
Amanda: Mom, Iím sorry. It looks like we're going to have to leave.
Rachel: You are? Hi, sweetheart. I didn't know you were here.
Sam: Well, Vicky was taking care of her, but Vicky got sick and brought her here, so --
Amanda: And Alli is not much of a party girl, so --
Rachel: Well, I'm sorry you have to leave.
Amanda: Well, tell daddy that we said goodbye.
Rachel: Oh, your father's dancing with grandma.
Sam: Yeah, look, I'm going to go look for Julie Ann, see if she's ready to leave. I'll meet you by the elevator, ok?
Amanda: Sure. Well, it's been some party, huh?
Rachel: Some party.
Amanda: Are you ok?
Rachel: Yes, Iím fine.
Amanda: Look, don't worry about Matthew. I'm sure everyone understands.
Rachel: You take care of your baby and Iíll call you in the morning. Bye.
Amanda: Ok. Bye.
Lisa: What was Vicky doing here?
Jamie: Lisa -- I --
Felicia: Excuse me, everyone -- thank you. I certainly want all of you to stay and continue to have a lovely evening, but I'm afraid we have to say goodbye to Jamie and Lisa. They do have an appointment to keep, you know.
Felicia: You know, the next time we see these two, they are going to be Dr. and Mrs. Jamie Frame. So I think that we should give them a nice, warm goodbye by letting them have one last dance. Jamie --
Rick: All right, I think we should leave now.
Rachel: You're treating him like a criminal!
Rick: I'm just doing my job, ma'am.
Rachel: Your job can't wait till the morning? He's not going to skip town.
Mac: Rachel, please.
Zack: Hey, what's going on here?
Mac: I think you better meet me at the police station, Zack. I'll need a lawyer present.
Zack: Is this for real?
Rick: Mr. Cory wants this to be as low-key as possible. I think we can all leave right now without even being noticed.
Mac: I'll be home soon, darling. Now, please, don't worry.
Rachel: I'm going to the police station as soon as I can get out of here.
Mac: I love you.
Rick: Let's go this way, through the kitchen, please.
Zack: Mack, I'm going to follow you in my car, ok?
Mac: Thank you, Zack.
Ronnie: Zack -- about what I said earlier --
Zack: I don't have time to talk.
Ronnie: I'm sorry.
Ada: Listen, I know they're not married yet, but can't we throw rice anyway? Where's Mac?
Rachel: He's --
Ada: Honey? Hey.
Michael: Hi, honey. Come on in.
Vicky: Hi. Is mom or Bridget here?
Michael: No, no, I'm the only one. What's the matter? You don't look too good.
Vicky: What every girl loves to hear.
Michael: You want some tea or something?
Vicky: No, no. I drank enough tea to sink the Q.E. 2. I just want to talk for a while.
Michael: Oh, good. Ok. What do you want to talk about?
Vicky: I saw Jamie tonight.
Michael: Wait a minute, how could you see Jamie? Jamie was at the party --
Vicky: I know, but I had to drop off Sam and Amandaís baby. Aren't you supposed to be at the party, too?
Michael: Uh, yeah. I was. But the babysitter got sick, so I had to come home and take care of Mikey.
Vicky: Bad night for babysitters.
Michael: You want to tell me what happened with Jamie?
Vicky: He told me off again. You know, I think he should put that lecture on a cassette, and I could just listen to it over and over and over again.
Michael: Wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, what did he tell you off again about?
Vicky: He thinks I'm trying to break up him and Lisa.
Michael: Are you?
Vicky: No. I told you, I went over there to give Sam and Amanda their baby.
Michael: Hey, lighten up. I'm not trying to put you on the spot.
Vicky: You know, everyone at that party looked so happy for Jamie and Lisa.
Michael: Honey, people always get happy for people when they get married, and Jamie and Lisa love each other. Look, I know that hurts, but that's the facts.
Vicky: Everyone has a relationship except me. Why can't I have a relationship like that, like you and mom, or Jamie and Lisa?
Michael: I think you should just be patient. Honey, being in love is wonderful.
Michael: But being desperate for love, that's not so wonderful.
Vicky: You think I'm desperate?
Michael: Well, I think that we all are from time to time. I mean, it's -- it's part of being a human being, but in your case, I think that you should just have a little confidence in yourself and be patient and wait, and it'll happen.
Vicky: I love you, dad.
Michael: I love you, too.
Vicky: I hope you're right.
Donna: Well, I don't know if Jamie and Lisa have left, but I decided to come home anyway.
Michael: Well, we're glad you did. Everything is under control here.
Donna: Is it?
Michael: Yeah. Everything's fine.
Donna: Chris really got sick tonight?
Michael: She sure did.
Donna: Oh. There wasn't another break-in or anything like that? You wouldn't keep something like that from me, now, would you?
Michael: Oh, no. No, no. I mean, Donna, everything is just terrific.
Donna: Then why do you have that look on your face?
Michael: What look?
Donna: Like you're hiding something.
Michael: Do I have a look on my face?
Vicky: No, I don't see one.
Michael: No look.
Donna: Right, right. And you, young lady, are one to talk.
Donna: Well, several people told me that you wrecked the party tonight.
Vicky: Oh, yeah. I had to drop off Sam and Amandaís baby.
Donna: Mm-hmm and you saw Jamie.
Vicky: Yeah, it was no big deal.
Donna: Well, if it was no big deal, why didn't you come find me and at least say hello?
Vicky: Because I wasn't exactly invited to the party.
Donna: Oh. So you came over here to tell your father what's been bothering you?
Vicky: Nothing's been bothering me!
Donna: Victoria, you haven't been yourself for weeks.
Vicky: Would you get off my back?
Donna: Where are you going?
Vicky: Home! I'll call you tomorrow.
Michael: Hey, don't look at me. She didn't tell me anything.
Donna: Why do I have this feeling that both of you are holding out on me?
Michael: Donna -- come on.
Donna: No, no, no. No. No, it doesn't matter. Because I'll find out, anyway. I always do.
Michael: "I always do."
Donna: I'm going upstairs to check on Mikey.
Michael: Well, I'm coming with you, baby!
Donna: What -- no!
Donna: Oh! Michael!
Mary: You have a happy, happy life.
Vince: Take care.
Lisa: Thank you, Mary.
Mary: Come see us when you get back, ok?
Lisa: Oh, I will.
Julie Ann: I'm so happy for you.
Jamie: Thank you very much.
Julie Ann: It was fun. Congratulations.
Lisa: Oh, Julie.
Julie Ann: See you later.
Mary: Do you need a ride?
Julie Ann: No, I'm fine. Thank you.
Ada: So they want to question him -- so what?
Rachel: They're treating him like a suspect.
Ada: Oh, they're just trying to make some overtime.
Rachel: Why did they have to take him tonight?
Ada: I don't know, honey.
Rachel: What am I supposed to take -- say to Jamie and Lisa?
Ada: Tell them the truth.
Rachel: Will you come with me?
Ada: You betcha.
Rachel: Let's go.
Felicia: Oh, honey. Have a wonderful ceremony and a wonderful honeymoon. I'll see you when you get back.
Lisa: Ok. Thank you for a wonderful party.
Felicia: Oh, you're welcome.
Mitch: Ok, kids, let's -- maybe you should get moving.
Jamie: Huh? Oh, yes. Mom! Uh -- oh -- where's Mac?
Rachel: Um -- the police took him to the station. They want to question him.
Felicia: So that's what it was?
Mitch: What is all this? Is it because of Marsten?
Jamie: They made him go tonight?
Rachel: It's serious, so Iím going to the police station as soon as you leave.
Jamie: I don't think we should.
Lisa: Oh --
Rachel: Wait a minute. You can't change your plans. Mac wouldn't like that.
Jamie: I just don't think tonight's the night for us to get married. I'm sorry, honey, but there's just a lot that's going on.
Lisa: Of course. Of course.
Rachel: Mac will hate this.
Jamie: Mom, I can't just take off and get married when Macís involved in this.
Ada: Jamie, this will all blow over by tomorrow. Now, you two go ahead.
Lisa: No, Ada, we canít.
Lisa: No, we can't leave. We'll just wait until all of this is settled.
Rick: I called headquarters. They're going to wait for us.
Rick: Everything should go pretty smoothly. With any luck, we should wrap this case up tonight.
