Vicky: Mom? Mom!
Donna: No, no! No! You can't! You can't take her. She's my --
Donna: She's my baby! She's my baby!
Vicky: Mom, wake up. It's me, Vicky.
Donna: No, you can't -- Daddy, please --
Vicky: Mom, it's me. It's me. You were just dreaming. Everything's ok now. You're fine. You're safe.
Donna: It was -- it was just a dream?
Vicky: Yes. Yes. Your father's in prison. He's in prison. He can't get you.
Donna: He's in prison.
Vicky: Yes. Yes. He can do nothing to hurt you anymore.
Donna: No. No, you don't -- you don't know that.
Donna: No, Victoria, you don't know what he can do! No, no!
Michael: I don't see anything. That noise -- I don't know what the heck it was. Look, I'm going to go back to the plane and radio to let them know that we found you guys.
Felicia: Michael, listen, why don't we just fly out of here, all right?
Cass: Yeah, good idea. Let's let the French authorities handle Reggie's boy.
Michael: I'd like to, but it's too risky.
Michael: That airfield's not lit. There's no landing lights. Remember landing?
Felicia: Yeah, I don't think I'll ever forget it.
Nicole: We can stay here for a little while.
Nicole: I mean, I've got some things to pack up. Little things.
Michael: Yeah, sure. Look, Cass, why don't you take this, all right?
Cass: Oh, I hate guns. I mean, they're a little too butch for me. Thanks, anyway --
Michael: Yeah, well, you're not going to feel that way if he sticks his head out of these bushes. Come on, take it.
Cass: Well, what about you?
Michael: I've got my gun. Besides, he's not likely to show his face on the airstrip there. There's too much exposed area.
Cass: But in here --
Michael: In here -- look, he could be anywhere. Come on, take it.
Cass: All right. Hey, thanks a lot.
Michael: Ok. Go.
Felicia: Listen, I think I should go with Michael, ok?
Cass: Ok, then we'll see you in a few minutes?
Felicia: All right. Yes, good.
Michael: I thought you wanted to stay here and talk to Cass.
Felicia: I do, but that can wait.
Michael: For what?
Felicia: I think they should have a little time alone together, you know?
Michael: Do you really?
Felicia: Come on.
Andre: I say again, I'm on the island. Didn't you get my first message? Over.
Man: Affirmative, but you cut out in the middle. Over.
Andre: I need to be picked up now. Repeat -- now! Over.
Man: Negative, my friend. The chopper won't be ready till morning. Over.
Andre: Listen, you. You get that chopper ready now! You do as I say!
Michael: First I got to call the French authorities, and then I got to call --
Felicia: I wish we could see their faces. I know how happy they will be.
Michael: Well, you'll be able to see their faces soon. Boy, I just want to let them know we're ok.
Felicia: All right.
Michael: All righty.
Cass: You collect seashells?
Nicole: I do now.
Cass: And old blankets?
Nicole: So, I'm a pack rat. Sue me.
Cass: Nicole --
Nicole: It's what we had here, ok?
Cass: You don't want to leave, do you?
Nicole: It happens in the movies all the time.
Cass: What does?
Nicole: Two people on a deserted island, and then they go home.
Cass: Depends on whether you're talking "heaven knows, Mr. Allison" or "swept away."
Nicole: I'm talking us. What's going to happen when we leave here?
Nicole: It's not that I don't want to leave here, really.
Cass: Me, either.
Nicole: And I can't wait to see Donna. I miss talking to her so much.
Cass: And what about hot showers and razor blades?
Nicole: Reruns on TV.
Cass: Yeah. Pizza places with free delivery. I mean, we're talking civilization here. We're talking the real pleasures of life, right?
Nicole: Right. Not counting the fact that we have a business to save, if we can.
Cass: Oh, we can.
Nicole: So I want to go back. We have to go back, anyway.
Cass: But this place is special.
Nicole: Yeah. I feel like we -- we found each other here.
Cass: I know.
Nicole: And I'm just a little scared.
Cass: Don't be scared. I'm not scared.
Nicole: You mean that?
Cass: Yes, I mean that. My feelings aren't going to change just because we're a few thousand miles west of here. Are yours?
Nicole: Well, no. I -- I -- I mean, I don't want them to. It's just that we won't be alone anymore.
Cass: No romantic island for two.
Nicole: With our own lagoon.
Cass: Sleeping under the stars.
Nicole: So it just scares me sometimes.
Cass: I -- I know you've been knocked around in the love department a little.
Nicole: Oh, a little?
Cass: But -- so I understand if you get a little nervous.
Nicole: It's just that -- well, Cass, things are going to be so different.
Cass: But we'll still -- we'll still be in control.
Nicole: Of what?
Cass: Of us. If we want it to work, all we have to do is make it happen.
Nicole: You're pretty sure of yourself.
Cass: Absolutely. And if you start having any doubts, I'll be right there to set you straight.
Nicole: Oh, yeah?
Nicole: How are you planning on doing that?
Cass: I got a few tricks up my sleeve.
Cass: That's two of them.
Cass: That's three.
Michael: Look, the message is this -- Cass and Nicole have been found and are safe, all right? Now, would you please notify Sergeant Adam Cory at the Bay City Police department immediately? Over.
Man: Oui. Bay City -- I have the number here. Over.
Felicia: And tell them to call Mitch and Donna.
Michael: Ok. Adam will do that. Don't worry. All right. I'll be flying them out as soon as it's light, but we seem to have a problem here. There's a criminal on this island, and he is heavily armed. Repeat -- he is armed. Now, can you send a coast guard ship here in the next couple hours? Over.
Man: Oui, monsieur. As soon as possible. Any possible identification of the criminal? Over.
Michael: Yes. Yes. His name is Andre Battelier. At least that seems to be the name on his passport. I'm not sure if that's really his name or if he's really French, but he's someone who works for a man named Reginald Love. But I repeat, he's armed and dangerous and we do need help. Over.
Man: I will send the coast guard ship immediately tout de suite. Over.
Michael: That's just terrific.
Merci beaucoup. We'll wait for them to arrive, all right? Hudson 2114, out. Oh, that's great.
Michael: That's done.
Felicia: Boy, it's hard to believe, isn't it?
Felicia: You know what, Michael? We did it. We did it.
Felicia: Isn't that great? Now we're going home, and we're going to be safe and sound. Thank you.
Vicky: See now? It was just a dream.
Donna: No. No, it was so real. I mean, my father was standing there, and he was pulling the baby out of my arms!
Vicky: He can't do that anymore. That's impossible.
Donna: No. No, Victoria, he's done it before.
Vicky: He's in the prison hospital. He can't get out. Now, you are just confusing this with what had happened in the past.
Donna: Yes. Yes, when you were born and he took you away from me.
Vicky: It's all behind us now. Now we're all here to protect you.
Donna: No. No, he has gotten out of jail before.
Vicky: He's not strong enough --
Donna: You don't know that! You don't know how strong he can be!
Vicky: Shh. It's ok, it's ok.
Donna: You don't know.
Vicky: It's ok. Shh. It's ok.
Bridget: Miss Donna, what is it? What is it? What's the matter? I heard you screaming all the way down in the kitchen.
Vicky: Bridget, she had a bad dream about her father.
Donna: He was -- he was trying to pull the baby out of my arms!
Bridget: Oh, come on, dear. Now, you mustn't think like that. You'll just upset yourself.
Donna: No -- no, don't you see? It's just like it was before. Michael's gone, and I'm stuck here in this room all alone, and my father -- everybody says he's not going to hurt us, but --
Bridget: Listen to me! Now, listen to me. Your father is in prison, and they say that he'll never walk out a free man again.
Donna: I don't care what they say, Bridget!
Bridget: Oh, come on, dear. Come on, now.
Donna: Victoria, what are you doing? Who are you calling?
Vicky: Lisa, this is Vicky. Where's Jamie?
Lisa: Frankly, I haven't the foggiest idea.
Vicky: I need to talk to him.
Lisa: Well, perfect timing. She needs you.
Lisa: Who else?
Vicky: Jamie, I am so glad you're there.
Jamie: What is it? What's wrong?
Vicky: Donna had a nightmare, and I can't calm her down.
Jamie: Are you sure this is --
Vicky: You said you were worried about her blood pressure, right?
Jamie: Yes, I am, and I'll be right there.
Lisa: So, what's the matter with Vicky?
Jamie: It's Donna.
Lisa: Oh. Well, Jamie, I was looking forward to being with you tonight. How about if I ride along with you and keep you company?
Donna: Victoria, look, you really didn't have to do that.
Bridget: I think she did the right thing.
Vicky: Yes, Jamie told me to call him whenever I felt like you were feeling too much stress.
Donna: Yeah, well, it's Adam that we should call.
Donna: We've got to make sure that my father stays in jail.
Vicky: No, Mom, we have gone over this time and time again. There is no way he is getting out.
Bridget: Of course there isn't, dear.
Donna: Where is Michael? And Nicole -- I mean, what is happening? Bridget, why haven't we heard anything? What is going on?
Bridget: Come on now, dear. Now, everything's going to be all right.
Felicia: Well, you know what I think?
Michael: What do you think?
Felicia: I think we're on a roll.
Felicia: Yeah. I mean, we found Cass and Nicole, didn't we?
Michael: Yeah, and they -- well, they seem kind of --
Felicia: Yeah, exactly. And it took them being stranded on an island to really admit that they were in love with each other, right?
Michael: Which is something we've known for quite some time.
Felicia: That's right. So, you see, we're on a roll.
Michael: You mean like we found them and they --
Felicia: Yeah, yeah, exactly.
Michael and Felicia: They found each other.
Felicia: Right, right. Well -- and we're going to be back home, you know, this time tomorrow.
Michael: I think we ought to go share the good news.
Felicia: I think you're right. Ok.
Felicia: Oh, Michael, you know what I just thought of?
Felicia: We should really celebrate, don't you think?
Felicia: I have the bottle of champagne. Why don't we bring it along and --
Cass: You know, I've thought about it, too.
Cass: Staying here and never going back.
Cass: Forever. But it's a dream.
Nicole: Yeah. It's a nice one, though.
Cass: Yeah. There is something we can have forever.
Cass: The feeling of this place, how we finally let go and found each other.
Nicole: Can we keep that, though, even back in Bay City?
Cass: Why not? Things will get tough sometimes --
Nicole: Yeah, like not having money in our bank account.
Cass: Or when the creditors start calling.
Nicole: Yeah, or they turn off our heat.
Cass: And the electricity. Minor problems like that.
Nicole: Totally minor.
Cass: But nobody's ever going to take away what we found here.
Nicole: You're sure about that?
Cass: It's you and me against the world, kid.
Nicole: I can handle that.
Cass: I'm glad. Because now that I've got you, I'm never going to let go.
Nicole: I can definitely handle that.
Cass: I've loved you for quite a while, you know.
Nicole: Same here.
Cass: Then why didn't we say anything?
Nicole: I don't know. I guess I was just afraid of getting hurt again.
Cass: And being alone seems to -- well, it seems to get more comfortable after a while, doesn't it?
Nicole: Yeah. Well, it's more comfortable than losing someone you love.
Cass: I'm glad we made it.
Nicole: Me, too.
Cass: So, where am I going to live when we get back?
Nicole: At the design house. It's the only roof we have, remember?
Cass: Oh, well, then, wise choice. Very wise choice.
Cass: Separate bedrooms, of course.
Nicole: Oh --
Cass: Just kidding, needless to say.
Nicole: Actually, I've got it all figured out.
Cass: Oh, you do?
Nicole: Yes. I'm moving into your room.
Cass: You are? I thought I'd move into yours.
Nicole: Oh, yeah, but yours is bigger.
Cass: Yours has the view.
Nicole: Ok, ok. We'll flip a coin.
Cass: All right. Heads, I win. Tails, you lose.
Nicole: No, no, no, no. Hey, I got a better idea.
Cass: Heads you lose, tails I win?
Nicole: No. We'll get John Hudson to just knock through the walls and we'll make it one huge bedroom.
Cass: Hey, we could have a giant Jacuzzi right where the bathroom is.
Nicole: Right, and why not? I mean, it's only money.
Cass: Your laughter, seeing you in the moonlight, making love with you here, are all things I'm going to remember always.
Vicky: Oh, Jamie, I'm so glad you're here. Donna's still so upset.
Jamie: I'll talk to you later.
Lisa: I came along to keep Jamie company.
Lisa: Well, I apologize. I know I was a little bit rude on the phone. I didn't realize it was an emergency.
Vicky: I wish you could learn how to trust me.
Vicky: If you'll excuse me, I have to see how my mother is.
Jamie: So, this all started because of a dream, huh?
Donna: Yes, I guess so. With Michael being gone and Nicole still missing --
Jamie: Well, let's just take a look and see how we're doing, ok?
Vicky: How is she?
Bridget: Now, wait a minute. I don't want you to fret. The doctor's here now, and your mother's going to be fine.
Vicky: Yeah, but Jamie sounded so serious.
Bridget: He's a very good doctor, dear.
Vicky: You're right. He's very dependable. He came right over as soon as I called.
Bridget: Oh, you admire him very much, don't you?
Vicky: He's wonderful. He's a wonderful doctor.
Bridget: Yes, well --
Bridget: Oh, dear. I hope that's not a reporter.
Lisa: I've been thinking about what you said.
Vicky: About being able to trust me?
Lisa: Hmm. But hearing you say something like that about Jamie makes it kind of hard.
Vicky: I meant as a doctor, Lisa. You heard me say that, didn't you?
Lisa: No, you said, "he's wonderful." And then when you saw me, you covered.
Vicky: You know, Lisa, my mother is in there about to lose a baby, and all you can think about is picking a petty little fight.
Lisa: I'm sorry. I should have thought.
Vicky: Yes, you should have.
Lisa: Oh, hi, Adam.
Adam: Lisa, what are you doing here?
Lisa: I'm here with Jamie.
Adam: Oh. Bridget said he was here to look after Donna?
Vicky: Yeah, he is.
Adam: Well, listen, I got some news that's going to make her day.
Bridget: Oh, my, she could do with a good bit of news today.
Jamie: Ok, you can all come in now. Adam, what are you doing here?
Adam: I've got some news. Everybody want to hear or what?
Bridget: Oh, yes, yes, we do.
Adam: Come on!
Bridget: Come on in.
Donna: Well, Adam.
Adam: Donna. I got a message. Michael radioed from an island off the coast of France. He and Felicia have found Cass and Nicole, and everybody's safe.
Donna: Oh! This is wonderful!
Jamie: That is great! That's fantastic.
Michael: Whoa, hey, man. I'm not armed, ok? I mean, nobody's going to hurt you.
Andre: You bet they won't. I'll make sure of that.
Michael: Good. Tell you what -- just don't hurt her, all right? Just put the gun down.
Andre: Oh, is that what you want?
Michael: Yeah, yeah, then we'll talk, ok?
Andre: Yeah? I heard you on the radio, pal, ordering the coast guard to track me down.
Felicia: You don't have a chance.
Andre: Shut up!
Michael: Hey, just take it easy, ok?
Andre: You think I'm nuts? You think I'm nuts? Some kind of idiot?
Andre: That's right, I'm not. And I'm not going to be here when they come.
Felicia: My God -- no!
Andre: Don't try it.
Andre: One more stunt like that, and I'll blow her away.
Michael: Hey, man, I'm not going to do anything. I'll do anything you want.
Andre: Then no more games. Do exactly what I say.
Michael: Hey, man, look -- you want out of here? Fine, go. I don't care. Just leave her, all right?
Andre: Sorry, I can't do that. She's my flight insurance.
Andre: That's right. You're going to fly me out of here.
Michael: Look, man, I can't do that. I'm sorry.
Andre: She's going to be a lot sorrier if you keep playing games, man.
Felicia: He's telling you the truth.
Andre: Shut up! Start the engines, captain. We're leaving.
Michael: Look, it's too risky.
Andre: I'll risk it.
Michael: We got no lights. I can't see the end of the runway. We'll hit the trees.
Andre: I'm not going to be left here like a sitting duck. Now, let's go.
Michael: Ok, ok. Ok, I'll do what you want.
Andre: Then do it.
Michael: You got to let her go first.
Andre: What's the matter with you, man? She's my leverage. Now, let's get this thing off the ground. You --
Felicia: Michael, Michael, I think we can do this.
Andre: Yeah, listen to the lady. Do it.
Felicia: Michael, we can handle it.
Michael: Ok. Ok, fine. Give it a shot.
Andre: Finally got some brains, man.
Michael: All right, now, strap in.
Andre: We'll be fine right here.
Michael: Look, the last thing I need when I'm running down the runway and hitting some of those rough spots is two people smashing into the back of me, so you either strap in now or forget it. What's it going to be?
Andre: Ok, lady. Take a seat.
Felicia: All right.
Andre: But remember what I said.
Felicia: I will remember. Believe me, I will.
Andre: Come on, man, let's go!
Michael: I don't understand this.
Felicia: What? What is it?
Michael: Oh, for the love of Pete.
Felicia: What? What's wrong? Tell me.
Michael: Fuel. We're out of fuel.
Andre: Don't give me that -- that stuff.
Michael: Look, I told those maintenance guys to fill me up.
Felicia: You know, I told you what they were doing.
Michael: I don't understand how could they have made this mistake?
Andre: What are you trying to pull?
Felicia: Honestly, you know --
Michael: Hey, Felicia, just be quiet, would you please?
Felicia: You know, you've got such a big head about all this.
Michael: Just be quiet -- we were lucky we landed.
Felicia: That guy --
Michael: We could have put down --
Andre: Hey, no more games! Let's start the engine!
Michael: Hey, wait a minute.
Felicia: Don't you see right here?
Michael: Well, just be quiet for a second. Look, would you look --
Felicia: Look, the gauge. Look at it.
Felicia: It's empty.
Michael: It's empty.
Felicia: Right there.
Michael: You see that right there?
Felicia: Oh, Michael. Michael, get the gun. Get the gun. Michael. Michael, be careful. Be careful, be careful.
Michael: Well, help me.
Andre: I'll kill you.
Felicia: No! I did it. I did it.
Michael: All right, pal, you lose.
Felicia: Oh, thank goodness. Well, that's the longest 10 seconds of my life.
Michael: So I got an idea -- maybe you can go visit your little friend Reginald Love in jail.
Felicia: Yeah, you're going to love that, aren't you?
Michael: You know what you're really going to love? That little indicator you were looking at was air speed, turkey. The gas tanks are 2/3 full.
Donna: Adam? Adam, are you sure they're all right?
Adam: Cass, Nicole, Felicia, Mike -- they're all safe.
Adam: The French coast guard's on their way to the island, and Mike's going to fly out at dawn.
Donna: Oh, this is wonderful.
Bridget: Oh, God bless them all.
Jamie: And it couldn't come at a better time for this lady here.
Donna: Oh, yes, yes. Wait a minute. Is it dawn over there already? What time is it?
Adam: We're six hours ahead. No, I think it's a couple of more hours before it gets to dawn there.
Vicky: He will call as soon as he gets to France. Don't you worry.
Donna: Oh. Oh, I tell you, this is better than a hot bath, warm milk, and a long massage.
Jamie: Well, it's about time.
Adam: You know, maybe we should, like, duck out and let Donna get some rest.
Donna: Adam, thank you so much for coming by.
Adam: Mrs. Hudson, it's my pleasure. You know, it's not often I get to give some good news.
Bridget: I'm going to make a cup of tea.
Jamie: Listen, I want to monitor her blood pressure for a while. You may not want to stick around because it's going to be an hour or so.
Donna: An hour? Jamie, come on. I'll be asleep before you know it.
Jamie: Oh, fine. That's the best thing that could happen.
Lisa: Jamie, I came with you in your car.
Jamie: Oh, right, yeah.
Adam: Listen, I can give you a ride if you don't mind waiting a few minutes at the station house.
Lisa: No, that's great. Thanks.
Jamie: Thanks, Adam.
Adam: No problem. Come on, let's go.
Donna: Adam, thank you again.
Vicky: Oh, you see that? Now, it was just a dream after all.
Donna: Yes, I guess it was.
Vicky: And Michael's going to be home, and the baby's going to be fine, and Nicole's going to be back.
Jamie: So now you can relax.
Donna: Yes. I guess I finally believe.
Donna: That there is a chance for all of us.
Jamie: Of course there is.
Vicky: Oh, I believe it. I believe that good things are going to be happening for all of us.
Adam: Every once in a while, there really is an upside to this job. Did you see Donna's face when I told her the news about Nicole? She absolutely lit up. It was like all that anger and the frustration and all that -- hello? Anybody home?
Lisa: I'm sorry. What -- what -- what were you saying?
Adam: I was just saying how great it felt to be able to give somebody some good news for a change. I'm sorry you don't feel the same way.
Lisa: Oh, I do. Of course I do.
Adam: Hey, you're not -- you're not getting some kind of strange impression about all of this, are you?
Lisa: About Cass and Nicole, no. I'm really -- I'm not.
Adam: Then why do I have the impression that your mind is someplace else?
Lisa: I'm sorry.
Adam: Don't be sorry.
Lisa: I should be sorry. We just got this terrific news, and I'm acting like a jerk.
Adam: Lisa Grady, I don't think you could ever be a jerk.
Lisa: You don't know me very well, Sergeant Cory.
Adam: I think I know you well enough.
Lisa: I have got to pull myself together.
Adam: You want to talk about this?
Lisa: You said you have to go back to the station. That means you're -- you're busy, right?
Adam: In other words, it's none of my business?
Lisa: I didn't say that.
Adam: But that's what you meant. Are you ok?
Lisa: I'm chilly. It's brisk out here.
Adam: Come on. Let's get you back to a nice, warm squad car. What do you say?
Lisa: You're very sweet. You know that?
Adam: Why, flattery.
Lisa: I mean it.
Adam: Well, you never know. Could have a serious mutual admiration society going here. At least I hope so.
Lisa: We do.
Adam: You know, it's -- it's important to have friends, male and female.
Lisa: Friends are good to have.
Adam: Uh-oh. There's that expression on your face again.
Lisa: Quit playing detective, detective.
Adam: Oh -- yes, ma'am. Oh.
Adam: I'm sorry. No jokes, no jokes. I just want you to be happy. You know, if there's something bothering you --
Lisa: I'm happy. I am delirious.
Adam: And I'm batman.
Lisa: Hey, then let's get in the Batmobile and go. Come on.
Adam: All right. Whatever you say.
Cass: And then when the insurance comes through, we'll be right back on track.
Nicole: Oh, that is if we get the insurance.
Cass: Are you kidding? We -- we have to.
Nicole: Yeah, I guess. But still, you know, we missed the Monte Carlo show. We have no fall line.
Cass: So we'll have a spring line.
Nicole: Ah -- just like that, huh?
Cass: Hey, these magic hands will sketch, seamstresses will sew, and presto -- we'll have a spring line.
Nicole: Oh, all that work.
Cass: You can do it.
Nicole: Says you.
Cass: Trust me. I feel so good right now, I could take on the world.
Cass: Because of you.
Cass: Because of us.
Nicole: Hmm. I like that -- us.
Michael: All right, you guys, we're back. We -- sorry.
Cass: Oh. No problem. You radioed -- ahem -- you radioed the message?
Felicia: Yes. Yes, we did.
Cass: Ah. We didn't see any sign of Andre, though I must admit we weren't looking too hard.
Michael: Yeah. Right. Well, it's ok because we found him.
Felicia: Yeah. He's not a problem anymore.
Nicole: And he was in the plane?
Michael: Yeah, he was right behind us and he had this.
Cass: Oh, that must've been fun.
Felicia: Yeah, well, he sort of used my neck as a target.
Nicole: How did you get out of that?
Michael: Well, my friend here helped me, but you know she fights dirty.
Cass: You're just finding that out?
Felicia: Watch it.
Cass: So where's Andre now?
Michael: He's back in the plane. He's tied up in the middle of the runway without his gun. I'd say he's at a little bit of a disadvantage.
Cass: You know, nobody's ever going to believe what we've been through.
Nicole: Yeah. I think we're going to have to sell our story to the movies.
Felicia: I just wish none of this had ever happened.
Michael: Well, I, for one, could've done without the gun in my face bit, you know what I mean?
Nicole: You both must be exhausted.
Felicia: You know what?
Felicia: I'm just sorry I never got to drink that bottle of champagne.
Michael: Well, why don't I go --
Michael: What's that?
Felicia: Michael, is that the plane?
Michael: That is. That's the plane.
Cass: But I thought you said he was tied up on the runway.
Michael: He is. I don't see how he could've gotten loose.
Felicia: Michael, well, what could he be doing?
Michael: Oh, my gosh. He's taking off.
[Plane engine runs]
Michael: He's crazy.
Nicole: Where -- where is he?
Michael: Look, he's right there. He's taking off. He doesn't have his lights on.
Nicole: He's going to take off?
Cass: He'd better or he's going to hit that line of trees over there.
Michael: He can't fly.
Michael: He doesn't know how to fly.
Cass: Oh, great.
Michael: That's why he held the gun to Felicia's head -- he needed me to take off for him.
Nicole: Oh, but he's crazy.
Cass: He'll kill himself.
Michael: He'll never lift off.
Nicole: Well, how difficult is it?
Felicia: Well, Michael said he wouldn't leave at night because it was too dangerous.
Michael: He's up.
Felicia: Oh, no.
Cass: I don't believe it.
Felicia: No, is he going to make this?
Michael: He's never going to make this. He -- he doesn't know how to --
Cass: Get the nose up. Get the nose up.
Michael: Get the nose up.
Nicole: Oh, my gosh. He cleared the trees!
Felicia: He made it?
Michael: I don't believe it!
Nicole: Well, how will he land if he doesn't know how to --
Michael: But he's not going to land. He doesn't know how to land that thing.
Cass: You mean he'll just --
Michael: That's right. He's going to crash. He's going to run out of fuel. Somebody's going to have to pick up the pieces.
Nicole: Well, what's going to happen to us? That plane was supposed to be our way out of here.
Michael: Don't worry about it. The French coast guard's coming to pick us up.
Felicia: That's right. You know what? Good riddance. I mean, he hurt a lot of people.
Michael: I don't believe it!
Nicole: Oh. Oh, Cass, he got away.
Cass: Hey, it's ok. Whatever happens happens. The important thing now is that we're safe. There's still us.
Adam: All right. Come on. Why don't you just tell me what's bugging you?
Lisa: Is it that obvious?
Adam: I don't know. Hey, call me psychic.
Lisa: Oh. Ever since Sam and Amanda's wedding --
Lisa: No, actually, it was starting before the wedding.
Adam: Ok, what?
Lisa: Jamie and I have been having problems.
Adam: I know that. It's about this job.
Lisa: No, it's more than that.
Adam: Look, you -- you don't have to talk about this if you don't want to.
Lisa: No. It's ok. It's Vicky. Have you ever noticed the way she looks at him?
Adam: Yeah, well, she's kind of a flirt.
Lisa: No. No, she's not flirting. She's after him. And it's gotten so she doesn't care if I know it or not. And I can't believe I'm acting this way. I'm playing right into her hands.
Adam: Lisa, you're a smart girl. I'm sure you're going to do the right thing. You'll come through.
Lisa: Oh, you think so?
Adam: Absolutely. Listen, this is your sergeant speaking, you know.
Lisa: Oh. Yes, sir.
Adam: Yeah, listen, sergeants have to deal with very big morale problems, I mean, every day.
Adam: Oh, yeah. Listen, very heavy stuff comes across this desk, and we just fix it just like that.
Lisa: Well, gosh. How do you do that, Sarge?
Adam: Well, research.
Adam: Yeah, research.
Lisa: Well, what kind of research?
Adam: Um --- well -- we read "Dear Abby."
Adam: Really -- no. I read "Dear Abby," and I take the idea for the day, and I sort of twist it around until it fits the problem, and then there you go.
Lisa: "There you go" where?
Adam: There you go. See -- you're feeling better already.
Adam: It just goes to show what good problem solvers we are. Cory. What? No. I said no. Look, pal, you do everything you have to, but you stop it! You got it? It's the D.A.'s office. Some shyster lawyer down there applied for bail for Reginald Love.
Nicole: You know, I still don't understand.
Nicole: About that man Andre.
Cass: What's to understand? I mean, the guy got lucky, he got the plane up in the air, but the landing is --
Nicole: No, no, no. I mean -- no, that my father would've hired him to sabotage the fashion show.
Felicia: Honey, I think maybe Reginald just didn't want you to be so independent, that's all.
Nicole: Oh, it's that important to him? Wow.
Michael: Yeah, well, look, I'm just sorry that we weren't able to arrest him before he put the plan in motion, but don't you worry now. It's all over.
Cass: There's no way he's getting out of jail, is it?
Michael: Absolutely not. We've got him locked tight.
Nicole: Yeah, but he's responsible for everything. I mean, you almost died.
Cass: So did you.
Nicole: And practically everything we had is destroyed.
Cass: Yeah, but look at the bright side. I mean, I got a chance to spend four days in paradise with you.
Nicole: Yeah, but, you know, before we left, there was Donna's fall and the fire --
Felicia: Honey, it's over now, really.
Nicole: And not to mention the accusations he made about our mother, all those lies he told.
Cass: What is that?
Felicia: Do you think that might be the coast guard?
Cass: It's hard to tell.
Michael: I'm going to go out to the point and check this out.
Felicia: Ok, Michael.
Cass: Hey, come here.
Cass: Excuse us.
Cass: Can't you try to forget about your father, all the things he's done?
Nicole: Oh, Cass, how can I do that?
Cass: By thinking about the future -- our future.
Nicole: Felicia's right over there.
Cass: Hi, Felicia.
Cass: Let's give her a thrill. Come on.
Nicole: Come on. If that's the ship, I got to get our things together.
Cass: So, toots --
Cass: You ready to get back to the States tomorrow? What -- what? What is this grin?
Felicia: Well, I'm just thinking, you know, here you are stranded on the island and injured, threatened by a maniac.
Cass: And you're grinning?
Felicia: Well, it's just that I haven't seen you look this happy in a long time -- except, of course, when you were with me.
Cass: Of course.
Felicia: Of course.
Adam: No. No, you don't have to deal with it when it comes across your desk because, pal, you got to deal with it now. That's right -- now -- or I'll have every reporter in town crawling all over the D.A.'s office wondering why you let him out on a string! I don't care. A threat, a promise, you can take it any -- any damn way you want to, but you just do one thing -- you don't let him out. You got that?
Lisa: You've got to calm down.
Adam: Lisa, if he buys one more judge -- one more judge --
Lisa: You've been after him for a long time, haven't you?
Adam: For years. But we got him dead to rights this time, and we can't let this guy get away!
Lisa: He has a lot of power, right?
Adam: Money. And money talks, man, and he's got lots of it.
Adam: You know, we could freeze every bank account, every stock account, every source of cash this guy has got in the whole world and he'd still come up with the money to buy judges, to pay off some hotshot lawyer.
Lisa: Ok, ok, ok. Worst scenario -- suppose he gets out on bail.
Adam: I have him followed. I have him followed for the rest of his life even if I have to do it myself. But I am telling you, it is no way, no way this guy is going to sneak out of the country again and disappear -- no way.
Adam: I'm sorry. The call just got me a little crazy, that's all.
Lisa: Come on. Get your coat.
Lisa: Freddy's -- you ever heard of it?
Adam: Look, I'm not in any kind of mood to go to a bar.
Lisa: Do I look like the type of person who hangs out at bars?
Lisa: It's an ice cream parlor.
Adam: Look, I got papers --
Lisa: Best hot chocolate in town.
Adam: I got paperwork stacked up here on my desk, and I don't --
Lisa: Come on. I'm going to take you there, and I'm going to buy you one.
Adam: Lisa --
Lisa: I'm going to talk to you until you feel better.
Adam: Why are you doing this?
Lisa: Because you're upset and you're my friend.
Lisa: So, hold the lady's coat like a gentleman.
Adam: Hot chocolate, huh?
Lisa: Don't worry -- I won't let you have too many.
Adam: You know something?
Adam: You're really something.
Lisa: Friends look out for each other.
Adam: Well, I know, but I -- well, I just -- you know, I feel good when you're around, and I --
Lisa: Well, good. So do I. Come on.
Vicky: Now, the best present you can give this little tyke is to get some rest yourself, ok?
Donna: I -- I know.
Jamie: I think she's forcing her eyes open because we're here.
Vicky: I know. Well, she's one of those polite society dames, you know.
Donna: I'm just so glad Nicole's safe.
Vicky: I know.
Donna: And Michael's coming home. Oh.
Bridget: Oh, yes, sir?
Jamie: Listen, if -- just make sure somebody's here at all times.
Bridget: Oh, I won't stir from this room.
Jamie: Oh, good. Goodbye.
Vicky: I just want to thank
Vicky: I just want to thank you for making it over here on such short notice.
Jamie: Well, I'm glad I could. Now, the main thing from now on is to make sure --
Vicky: I know, I know. No more stress.
Jamie: Yeah, you know, when she gets emotionally overcharged like that, her blood pressure goes way up.
Vicky: Well, I think she'll be much better now that she knows Nicole is safe --
Jamie: And Michael's coming back.
Vicky: She counts on him a lot.
Jamie: Right. Well, I'd better go.
Vicky: I know I was a little angry with Lisa on the phone. I was just really upset.
Jamie: Yeah, well, so was Lisa.
Vicky: You know, you sounded a little funny when you came to the phone yourself.
Jamie: Did I?
Vicky: You didn't think I was making this whole thing up, do you?
Jamie: Oh, now, you know how doctors get when the phone rings -- they feel a little harassed.
Vicky: Well, I hope you know I would never do anything like that.
Jamie: I'll take your word for it.
Vicky: You know, Jamie, I know Lisa's upset with me, but I would never do anything to trick you, ever.
Jamie: Ok. I'll let myself out.
Vicky: Ok. And Jamie?
Donna: Oh, Michael. Oh.
Bridget: Yes, my dear. Yes, my dear. Mr. Michael -- he'll be coming home soon now, dear.
Cass: Yeah, yeah, yeah, you could say I'm happy.
Felicia: Well, it couldn't happen to a nicer jerk.
Cass: Oh, thank you.
Felicia: Nicole certainly looks happy.
Cass: It's been pretty incredible for both of us.
Felicia: You know who predicted this?
Felicia: Months ago.
Cass: Well, chalk one more up for the prophet of romance.
Felicia: Yeah, right. He'd certainly be grinning about this wherever he is.
Cass: He's probably at some celestial card game.
Cass: He's the dealer, of course.
Felicia: Of course.
Cass: He always said, "keep rolling the dice. Just keep taking chances, and you'll come up a winner."
Felicia: Yeah, he said that. Anyway, so what's going to happen when you get back to Bay City, huh?
Cass: Nicole's a little nervous about that.
Felicia: Well, you know, she's right. This is not exactly an island, Bay City.
Cass: No, not by a long shot, but we'll just take it a day at a time.
Felicia: You know what?
Felicia: I think you might make this.
Cass: You know what?
Cass: For the first time in a long time, I feel lucky.
Felicia: Oh, great.
Michael: Felicia, it is the French coast guard. They're sending a launch --
Felicia: Shh, shh, shh.
Michael: What? Could we go?
Felicia: Yeah. Oh, yeah, sure, sure.
