[Amanda laughs]

Sam: Welcome to Palm Beach, Mrs. Fowler.

Amanda: Welcome to your honeymoon, Mr. Fowler.

Sam: Hey.

Amanda: Hmm?

Sam: This is some place.

Amanda: Hmm, well, bring the bags in and I'll show you around.

Amanda: So?

Sam: So this is what your parents call a cottage?

Amanda: In Palm Beach, this is a cottage. Do you like it?

Sam: Hmm. Um -- yeah, I like it. I like any place that's 80 degrees in March. Plus the fact that I'm alone with my wife. I like that.

Amanda: My husband. I like that word.

Sam: No kidding. What was it? Oh, yeah -- "waitress, my husband would like a cheeseburger!" Oh, yes -- "ahem -- would you get the oil checked for my husband, please?" "My husband wants a" --

Amanda: I just want everyone in the world to know.

Sam: Well, to be totally honest --

Amanda: Hmm?

Sam: I don't think there's a man in the world who is as happy as I am tonight.

Amanda: There's one other person that is.

Sam: Yeah? Who?

Amanda: Me.

Sam: Oh.

Amanda: So what do you say to a nice moonlit stroll on the beach, husband?

Sam: Um -- I have to give you something first.

Amanda: Oh? What's that?

Sam: A honeymoon surprise.

Donna: You know, I really wonder why Michael hasn't called back yet.

Vicky: He called a few hours ago. Now, come on, what's your answer?

Donna: Vicky, I -- I don't know. You know, this is really a dumb game.

Vicky: Come on, now, the bank makes a $1,000 error in your favor. Would you tell them?

Donna: Did he sound worried to you?

Vicky: He was worried you weren't getting enough relaxation. Now, come on, what's your answer?

Donna: All right, all right. No, I -- I don't think I would tell them.

Vicky: Oh, Mother, have you no scruples?

Donna: Well, Victoria, I wouldn't even know that the bank had made an error. I mean, I haven't balanced my checkbook in years.

Vicky: Hmm.

Donna: Honey, what if they don't come back?

Vicky: Ok, my turn. Ugh, this is a dumb game.

Donna: Oh, really? All right, what's your question?

Vicky: "A guy you're interested in has a girlfriend you think is totally wrong for them."

Donna: Mm-hmm.

Vicky: "Do you try to break them up?" Gee, this is a toughie, Mom.

Donna: You would, huh?

Man: Jack Tremont, "Bay City Trib."

Bridget: Oh, Ms. Donna --

Jack: How do you feel about this vendetta your father has against you and your sister?

Vicky: You get out of here, or I'll call security!

Bridget: I told him not to come up here.

Donna: What are you talking about?

Jack: Reginald Love -- he's the man responsible for the disappearance of your sister, Nicole!

Vicky: Come on!

Donna: My father is responsible?

Felicia: Doesn't anybody speak English anymore?

Cass?

Michael: Felicia, we're off the coast of France.

Felicia: I know that, but how can Cass get a message to us in all this jumble? Cass!

Michael: Well, just keep monitoring it, all right?

Felicia: Don't worry, I'm not going to stop until I hear their voices. Hello?

Hello?

Michael: You know, it's possible their radio went out.

Felicia: Yeah, it's also possible that it didn't. Michael, I know they have to be down there somewhere.

Cass?

Michael: Felicia, don't worry. We're going to find them.

Felicia: Come on, Cass, talk to me.

Hello?

[Crickets chirp]

Cass: Well, these footprints are still pretty fresh.

Nicole: Oh, brother. I feel like I'm in a Sherlock Holmes movie.

Cass: Come here. Look.

Nicole: It's a little cabin.

Cass: Keep it down because whoever it is might still be there.

Nicole: The radio -- we have to get it.

Cass: You stay here.

[Radio signal garbles]

Andre: Do you read me? I need a plane on -- do you read me? I --

[noise]

Amanda: Oh, it's beautiful. Did you design this cover?

Sam: Yeah, well, for you, only the best. Come on, check it out.

Amanda: Ok.

Amanda: It's got all our articles from "Brava" in it.

Sam: Yeah. Your poems, too.

Amanda: My poem? How did you get ahold of my --

Sam: Well, when I was moving your stuff into the loft --

Amanda: You didn't read them, did you?

Sam: Well, the box they were in fell open.

Amanda: I'm so embarrassed.

Sam: Hey, why? Come here. They're beautiful. They are. How'd that one go? It was -- "as my love draws near, every shadow fades away." Come on, that's beautiful.

Amanda: My Elizabeth Browning period.

Sam: Yeah, well -- I like your writing, and I want you to keep writing. So that's why I left lots of empty pages.

Amanda: You left lots of empty pages.

Sam: Well, I'll just have to find some way to inspire you.

Amanda: Oh. Somehow I don't think that's going to be all that difficult. I love you. Thank you.

Sam: I'm glad you like it.

Amanda: Oh --

Sam: What?

Amanda: Now I have a present for you.

Sam: Amanda, wait a sec--

Amanda: Actually, this is for the both of us.

Sam: It feels like Christmas. Come here. What is this? I don't believe it!

Amanda: I thought it'd be great for the baby's first steps and -- and his first bowl of strained peas.

Sam: Actually, you know, I had a little racier film in mind.

Amanda: Oh, no!

Sam: Yeah. You know, our first honeymoon -- strictly x-rated.

Amanda: Any ideas for an opening?

Sam: Yeah.

Donna: Now, please, would you just tell me what's happening? I mean, my imagination is already running wild with me here.

Vicky: Ok, ok, ok, ok. The security guard that was supposed to be on Cass and Nicole's plane was found unconscious, and they think it might have been one of Reginald's men that was behind it.

Donna: To sabotage the plane his own daughter was on?

Vicky: I wish I didn't think my own grandfather was such a monster.

Donna: I know, honey, I know. I do, too.

Jamie: Are you all right?

Donna: Oh, Jamie. Jamie, this horrible reporter was in here.

Jamie: Bridget told me. I ran into her downstairs.

Vicky: Yeah, she said she needed a novena to calm her nerves.

Donna: You know, I think I could use one myself.

Jamie: Donna, I know it's difficult, but you have to stay calm.

Donna: I -- I am, Jamie, I'm -- I'm calm, tranquil, serene.

Jamie: You are looking better.

Donna: Well, thanks. I'm really trying to follow doctor's orders, you know, but I just -- I can't tell you, I am so anxious to get out of this bed, and soon.

Jamie: Well, that may not be possible.

Donna: Now -- now, wait, I know that you said that I needed to get plenty of rest because of the baby.

Jamie: That's right. Until the baby is born.

Donna: That's four months!

Jamie: Donna, now, I know this baby means a lot to you and Michael.

Donna: Yes, yes, of course it does.

Jamie: And, Donna, I know it must be driving you crazy, but to move around too much could be very risky to the baby you're carrying.

Donna: Jamie, come on. This can't be as serious as that woman who was carrying the quintuplets. I read that once she found out she was pregnant, she had to stay in bed the entire time.

Jamie: Even though you're only carrying one child, yes, it can be this serious and this confining.

Donna: Then I -- I really should stay in bed the entire time? That's what you're saying, right?

Jamie: Yes. That's what I'm saying.

Cass: Nicole, it's ok. Nicole?

Nicole: Yeah. Nobody's here?

Cass: Somebody was here.

Nicole: Oh. I guess he left the food behind. Does it work?

Cass: Let's find out. Yeah, it's been on. I'm going to try and find another frequency.

Nicole: Ok.

Cass: All right, let's try that one.

Nicole: We're here! Help! We're here!

Cass: Wait a second. Obviously, the Girl Scouts didn't teach you how to transmit a radio message.

Nicole: Well, what are you supposed to do? We just want to try to get rescued here.

Cass: Well, it would help if we knew our location. Here goes. Mayday, Mayday! Can anybody hear me? Come in. Mayday, Mayday!

Felicia: Ugh! If I hear one more Yugoslavian rock band --

Cass: Mayday, Mayday! Come in. Over.

Felicia: It's Cass. Michael, it's Cass!

Cass?

Jamie: She has to talk about what's eating away at her.

Vicky: Do you want me to try to talk to her?

Jamie: Yeah. Yeah, maybe you can get through to her.

Vicky: Oh, boy, did you ever think you'd be saying that to me?

Jamie: Did you ever think you'd offer to help your mother out?

Vicky: No.

Jamie: You two have come a long way.

Vicky: Yeah, well, things aren't perfect, but they're a heck of a lot better than they've ever been.

Jamie: I'm glad. Go on in, and I'll wait for you downstairs.

Vicky: Ok.

Donna: Oh, hi there.

Vicky: You ready to finish this game of ours?

Donna: Uh -- you know, I really don't think I can concentrate on that right now.

Vicky: Ok.

Donna: Would you -- would you open a window for me?

Vicky: Mom, it's freezing outside.

Donna: No, it's -- it's just suddenly gotten very stuffy in here, that's all.

Vicky: Ok, just a crack.

Donna: All right, thanks.

Vicky: How's that?

Donna: Yeah, yeah, I think that's going to be better. I -- I was just beginning to feel like I -- I couldn't breathe, you know?

Vicky: Well, why don't I make you a cup of tea?

Donna: I -- I really hate this. You know, I can't even get up to make my own tea!

Vicky: Shh. You heard what Jamie said.

Donna: Yes, I know, but he doesn't know what it feels like to be locked up in here --

Vicky: You're not locked up. You're not.

Donna: No, you're right. I'm sor-- I'm sorry. I'm sorry, it's just -- no, never mind.

Vicky: What? Hey, hey, Mom. Come here. Talk to me.

Donna: It's just that I don't know if I'm going to be able to stand staying in this room until the baby's born, you know?

Vicky: I know. I know it will be hard for you.

Donna: It's kind of like I'm in a time warp or something and the nightmare is just happening all over again.

Vicky: You talking about Marley and me?

Donna: Yeah. I mean, your grandfather, you know, just kept me in the basement almost like a prisoner. See, he didn't want anybody to know that I was pregnant by your father. I mean, the stable boy, you know? I had shamed the family. I had disgraced the impeccable Love name. Do you know he wouldn't even let me go out? He wouldn't even let anybody come in to see me!

Vicky: Oh, Mom -- mom --

Donna: And then -- and then when -- when I had you, I didn't even know that I had you.

Vicky: Shh.

Donna: I mean, I didn't even know that I had twins. He gave you away, Vicky.

Vicky: I know. I know that now. I know.

Donna: Do you know, you have suffered so much. But I promise you, if I had known I had you, I would have never, never let him give you away!

Vicky: Shh. We can't live back then. Let's forget about that, ok?

Donna: Ok. It's just -- you know what? I keep remembering how -- how lonely I was. Hidden away. Thinking that -- that Michael didn't love me or want me. Being so ashamed and so afraid. But most of all, being so lonely.

Vicky: Hey. You're not alone anymore.

Donna: I know, honey, but you don't understand. I mean, if something happened to Michael and he doesn't --

Vicky: Oh, no, he wouldn't let anything or anyone keep him away from you and his baby. He's going to come back. He's going to bring Nicole and she's going to be an aunt again. And, you know, I'm going to have a little tiny baby brother.

Donna: We'll be family. We will be a real family this time.

Vicky: We are. We are a real family.

Donna: We are, aren't we?

Vicky: I know. Why don't you lie down and get some rest, ok?

Donna: Do you -- do you think you could stay with me for just a little bit?

Vicky: I sure could.

Donna: Good.

Vicky: You get comfortable, ok?

Donna: All right. What are you doing? Hmm?

Vicky: I remember when I was little --

Donna: Yeah?

Vicky: Bridget used to sit with me, and she would brush my hair till I found -- found a nice, quiet sleep.

Donna: You know, I wish so much I had been there for you.

Vicky: No, you don't. I was wilder than I am now.

Donna: You --

Vicky: Shh. You just have sweet, sweet dreams.

Donna: Ok.

Cass: Can anyone hear me? This is Cass Winthrop of the United States.

Michael: Come on, guys, give me a marker of some kind.

Nicole: Maybe we should tell them about the mountain. There's a flat mountain. It's bare on top, and it looks like there was a fire.

Michael: Good girl! Give us some more. Come on, come on, come on.

Felicia: Michael, Michael --

Michael: What?

Felicia: There is an island right here, and it does have a mountain on it right there. Do you see?

Michael: Yes.

Cass: Hello, hello, this is Cass Winthrop. Our plane went down on an island somewhere off the southwest coast of France. Hello, can anyone hear me?

[Nicole screams]

Felicia: What was that?

Michael: It sounded like a gunshot.

Felicia: Oh, no.

Michael: Cass?

Cass? Nicole?

Felicia: Michael?

Michael: We lost them.

Nicole: What happened?

Cass: Stay down. He's getting away.

Nicole: Cass, don't go after him! He's got a gun.

Cass: Well, that's a good point. Oh, no!

Nicole: The radio.

Cass: Well, that's it! That's the end of that!

Nicole: Cass, look at this.

Cass: Then it was the security guard.

Nicole: But the security guard was hired by us for the fashion show. Why did he shoot at us?

Cass: Wait a second. Here's a check for $10,000 made out to Andre Battelier, and it's drawn on the account of Trednor Corporation.

Nicole: What?

Cass: You've heard of them?

Nicole: That's -- that's one of my father's corporations.

Cass: Well, maybe the check was authorized by somebody else.

Nicole: Uh-uh. My father gives the orders. Nobody else.

Cass: We don't know all the facts here, so maybe we shouldn't go jumping to any conclusions.

Nicole: You know, I knew he wanted me to fail, but I didn't think he'd tried to kill me to do it.

Cass: Nicole --

Nicole: My own father. He must really hate me.

Cass: Maybe the plane crash was just an accident.

Nicole: How could he do this?

Cass: He's a sick man, Nicole.

Nicole: What did I ever do to him?

Cass: Nothing. Absolutely nothing. And if you believe that you affected his behavior in any way, you're -- you're as crazy as he is.

Nicole: Cass, he's my father.

Cass: I know it's hard, but you're just going to have to forget about him. Hey. So many people care about you. I care about you. Ok? Huh?

Nicole: Ok. Maybe we ought to get out of here. That man might come back.

Cass: No, he got what he wanted. He wiped out our radio.

Nicole: You don't think he wanted us, then?

Cass: No, I don't think he did.

[Plane approaches]

Nicole: Oh, Cass, it's a plane!

Cass: Wait, wait, wait!

Nicole: No -- no, maybe somebody heard our message.

Cass: Ours or Andre's?

Nicole: What?

Cass: The radio was on when we came in here, remember?

Nicole: That's right, yeah.

Cass: Maybe he got in touch with one of his people.

Nicole: Well, what do we do?

Cass: We're going to have to think of some kind of a plan. Come on.

Nicole: Ok.

Amanda: Whoa! Beat you!

Sam: Only because I let you.

Amanda: Oh, face it, Sam, you're out of shape.

Sam: I'm in great shape.

Amanda: Right. So am I.

Sam: Yeah, you are. Come here.

Amanda: Oh! Ow!

Sam: Hey. What is that?

Amanda: That happens to be our four-month-old --

Sam: No, no, no, no -- not that, not that.

That.

[Amanda gasps]

Amanda: Where did that come from? "Even you two can't live on love alone. Enjoy. Mom and dad."

Sam: That's great. Look at this spread. Now, how did this get here?

Amanda: I don't know. You got me. Escargot!

Sam: Oh, yuck -- snails.

Amanda: Escargot. I love it.

Sam: You've obviously never gardened.

Amanda: Ahem. Look, goose liver pate, steak tartare.

Sam: Oh, goose liver pate -- is that what I think it is? Raw liver?

Amanda: Ok, macho man. Try some.

Sam: Oh, you're not.

Amanda: Uh-huh.

Sam: You're not.

Amanda: Uh-huh.

Sam: You are.

Amanda: Uh-huh. Ready?

Sam: Oh, God. Mmm -- [garbles] that's good.

Amanda: See? It's awful for you, but you got to love it. Ok, let's see what else. Bouillabaisse?

Sam: Is there any tacos?

Amanda: You're going to have to widen your -- your palate a little bit, Sam.

Sam: Come on, I'm a meat-and-potatoes kind of guy.

Amanda: Steak and French fries, that's really great.

Sam: It's the food that made America great.

Amanda: That's true. All right, fine. There's one thing I know you're going to love.

Sam: What? Besides you.

Amanda: Dessert. I brought some of our wedding cake.

Sam: Oh, great! I want to put this on film. I want to film this momentous occasion.

Amanda: Oh, no. Francis Ford Fowler. I've created a monster.

Sam: And you're going to thank me in 50 years.

Amanda: 50 years?

Sam: Yeah.

Amanda: Sam?

Sam: Hmm?

Amanda: Will you still love me when I'm old?

Sam: Sure. How old?

Amanda: Shut up!

Sam: Ok. All right, woman, it's your turn.

Amanda: Uh-oh.

Woman: Hello? Oh, my, I --

Donna's voice: Daddy, please get out.

Reginald's voice: I've missed you, Donna.

Donna's voice: You just saw me yesterday!

Reginald's voice: But so briefly.

Donna's voice: It was long enough for me.

Reginald's voice: A person starts to look back.

Donna's voice: I just want you out of here!

Reginald's voice: I was looking at some pictures just this morning. All of us, a family.

Donna's voice: I mean it, get out. Daddy? Daddy, please, I'll do anything you want.

Donna: It was a dream. It was just a dream. I'm fine. I really am fine.

Donna: Oh, Michael.

Vicky: How could he have been so horrible?

Jamie: When it comes to your grandfather, I'd believe almost anything by this point.

Vicky: But to lock his own daughter up in a basement because she was pregnant? For heaven's sake, it was the 1960s!

Jamie: Yeah, well, being pregnant and single wasn't very popular, especially in the circles your family moved in.

Vicky: But to banish your own daughter? To make her feel like a little piece of trash? I've been rotten, but my parents would never do that to me.

Jamie: Yeah, well, fortunately, your mother doesn't take after her father.

Vicky: She's had her moments. But, no, she's not the one who's like Reginald.

Jamie: You mean Peter?

Vicky: No.

Jamie: Well, who?

Vicky: The Honorable Reginald Love tells me that I'm like him.

Jamie: Oh, come on.

Vicky: Yeah. Unbelievable, isn't it? He tells me that he understands me and respects me. The rottenest man in all of the universe tells me that we're the same. "We're alike, Vicky. We're both outsiders, Vicky."

Ugh. All I know is that that man is a creep.

Jamie: And he's also a major manipulator. He knows how to push people's buttons and he sure pushed yours.

Vicky: What do you mean?

Jamie: It doesn't take a master genius to realize that -- that he hit at your deepest fear -- being an outsider.

Vicky: I feel like you're trying to analyze me.

Jamie: And you don't like that?

Vicky: What makes you think that you know everything?

Jamie: Well, I'm a doctor, lady. You know doctors --

[German accent] they see everything and they know everything.

Vicky: Well, I feel like you're a big gypsy looking into your crystal ball.

Jamie: [Normal voice] well, maybe some of Lisa's psychic powers have rubbed off on me.

Vicky: Lisa.

Jamie: Hey!

Vicky: She's always here, isn't she?

Jamie: Well, she's a part of my life, our lives.

Vicky: I don't think she would like that reference -- "our lives"?

Jamie: Come on, let's not go through all this again, ok?

Vicky: Ok. You're right, you know.

Jamie: About?

Vicky: Me not wanting to be an outsider. And then I do everything in my power to make it happen.

Jamie: Oh, come on. Don't be so hard on yourself.

Vicky: What if I am like Reginald Love in more than one way?

Jamie: You are not like him.

Vicky: I'm manipulative. I know that. I do things and don't even realize that I'm doing them, and then -- wham -- there it is! Then I look back and I realize what I've done. I jumped in that bouquet. I jumped right in front of it, in front of Lisa, because I knew Amanda was going to throw it to her. And I was jealous. Lisa was so gorgeous. She had the most eligible man in Bay City. Oh, now, don't pretend like you don't know that's true.

Jamie: Ahem.

Vicky: You're a doctor, a wonderful and funny doctor at that. Any woman would be lucky to have you.

Jamie: We weren't talking about me.

Vicky: No, you're right. We were talking about me and my horrid grandfather. Lisa. Jamie?

Jamie: Yes?

Vicky: I don't think we should be friends anymore.

Jamie: Well, what are you talking about this time?

Amanda: I'd like you to meet my husband.

Woman: Of course -- Tom.

Sam: No, it's Sam. Sam Fowler.

Woman: The Philadelphia Fowlers?

Sam: No, ma'am. Seattle.

Woman: Oh, do they breed horses in Seattle, too?

Sam: No, we're not related.

Woman: Ah, well --

Amanda: He's an artist, actually.

Woman: Well, that's always a relaxing hobby.

Sam: I do it for a living.

Woman: Well, that's diverting. Amanda, sweetie, tell me -- how are your parents?

Amanda: Um -- fine, very fine.

Woman: We have missed them both so much this season.

Amanda: Well, they -- they've been really busy.

Woman: Well, captains of industry like your father are always busy. Tell me --

Amanda: Hmm?

Woman: Is the food to your liking?

Amanda: Uh -- yes, it was great. How did you know about it?

Woman: Well, I opened the door for the people who brought it in.

Amanda: Oh. Thank you. I tell you what -- why don't you come back tomorrow? We can have a great --

Woman: It is so lucky that you came just now. It's always so cheery having newlyweds at a ball.

Amanda: A ball?

Woman: Yes. Now, you can't say no. It is the social event of the season, and we've got a perfectly beautiful night for it.

Amanda: It's tonight?

Woman: Yes.

Amanda: Oh --

Woman: And we've got -- the entire Argentinean polo team will be there. Now, that's quite a coup and strictly --

Amanda: I'm just afraid that --

Woman: A-list, of course.

Amanda: I'm afraid it's not --

Sam: Actually, we would love to go to a party.

Amanda: We would?

Sam: Yes, Amanda and I just love parties. I tell you what, though -- you'll have to let us get changed for this, of course.

Woman: Oh, of course. Yes. You are not going to bring that thing.

Sam: Oh, no, no. That's strictly for private affairs.

Woman: Yes, quite.

Sam: Yes.

Woman: I'll see you later.

Amanda: Uh-huh.

Sam: Toodles.

Amanda: Toodles? Toodles?

[Sam laughs]

Amanda: Why did you tell her we would go to her party?

Sam: I didn't say we'd go to her party. I said we'd go to a party -- our party.

Amanda: Ours?

Sam: Yeah. Well, I hate to see all those turtle eggs and snails go to waste. Ow!

Amanda: I love you. Tom.

Sam: Tom? Tom?

Amanda: Ow!

Sam: You go upstairs and you get dressed while I sit down here and get everything ready, ok?

Amanda: All right. Is this a dress-up occasion?

Sam: [British accent] yes, of course --

[normal voice] for about the first two seconds. Come back soon.

[Plane approaches]

Nicole: Can you see anything?

Cass: No.

Nicole: Cass, what are we going to do?

Cass: I don't know.

Nicole: Didn't you say you had a plan?

Cass: This is it.

Nicole: Sitting here in the cave -- that's your plan?

Cass: Well, you got a better one?

Nicole: No, because I thought you had it!

Cass: Shh! They're coming this way.

Nicole: Who?

Cass: Whoever it is that just got out of the plane that just landed.

Nicole: Well, what if they're Battelier's friends?

Cass: What if you keep a lid on it, ok? Stay here.

Nicole: Cass!

Cass: Shh.

Michael: What the heck?

[Cass and Michael scream]

Michael: No!

Felicia: No, no!

[Nicole screams]

Nicole: Felicia!

Michael: Cass!

Felicia: Nicole! Nicole! Cass!

Cass: Hi, honey!

Felicia: Hi, honey.

Nicole: Michael!

Michael: Hey!

Michael: I don't believe it. Winthrop, how you doing?

Nicole: I can't believe this! This is just great!

Cass: I'm sorry. We thought you were somebody else, obviously.

Michael: Hey, don't I get a hug, too?

Nicole: Oh! Hey!

Michael: Come on, baby!

Nicole: Michael, how did you find us?

Michael: Well, we heard your little radio show up there.

Nicole: Yeah -- oh, see that? It did work.

Cass: It did, huh?

Nicole: Yeah.

Cass: I just can't get rid of you, can I?

Felicia: Never! Oh, you're never going to lose me.

Cass: Give me a kiss.

Vicky: I'm sorry. It's just that sometimes I feel like I don't deserve to be loved. And when I get that love, I think it's just going to be taken away.

Jamie: Listen, no one's going to abandon you, not anyone.

Vicky: I wish I could believe that.

Jamie: You have to trust it.

Vicky: Trust? Easier said than done, Jamie.

Jamie: Do you trust me?

Vicky: You know I do. But --

Jamie: What?

Vicky: I know you love Lisa very much, and I know she has to be your number one priority.

Jamie: But you're afraid I will end our friendship just to please her.

Vicky: Is that so unreasonable?

Jamie: Yes, it's very unreasonable because our friendship is totally separate from my relationship with Lisa. And I will not -- I will not dump our friendship based upon her unfounded insecurities.

Vicky: You won't?

Jamie: No. And I would be supremely angry at you if you dumped our friendship. Got that?

Vicky: I got that.

Jamie: Ok.

Vicky: You are a really special package, you know that?

Jamie: Yeah. Now, I've got a lot of other patients that I've got to see.

Vicky: Thanks for everything, Jamie.

Jamie: Hey, just trying to make things easier for you and your mom, ok?

Vicky: Ok.

Jamie: And just -- just remember all the things I said.

Vicky: You got it.

Jamie: Bye.

Vicky: Bye. Oh. I'll remember, all right. "Friend."

[Music box plays]

Donna: Oh. Oh, Michael, he's perfect, isn't he? Look at all that blond hair he has already. I just know he's going to grow up to look just like his daddy, just like you. Yeah? Oh, come here. Come here.

Michael: There you go.

Donna: Come here. Look at you. You are the best little boy in the whole world. Hey, hey, wait a minute. Wait a minute. Do you want some more here? Yeah. You are. You are the most precious little boy in the whole world. Oh, yes, he's adorable, isn't he, Michael? Yeah. Michael?

[Reginald laughs]

Donna: No. Have you lost your mind? No! Help me! Michael!

[Music plays]

Amanda: Sam, can I come in now?

Sam: Just a second, ok?

Sam: All right. Now, come on in.

Amanda: Sam, it looks great!

Sam: Smile.

Amanda: Ta-da!

Sam: All right, now do something.

Amanda: Like what?

Sam: I don't know. Do something. Move around.

Amanda: Ok. Uh -- this is our baby at four months. This is the other side.

[Sam laughs]

Amanda: This is the wonderful food that mom and dad sent. Thank you, Mom and dad.

Sam: All right.

Amanda: Are you holding that right?

Sam: I know what I'm doing.

Amanda: Right, I don't want to be in these pictures all by myself!

Sam: Just a few more minutes, ok?

Amanda: Ok. This is our honeymoon, and I want it to be one that we will never forget.

Sam: Oh, this is good. This is really good.

Amanda: You and me, alone together.

Sam: That's it.

Amanda: I want you.

Sam: Whoa -- wait a minute! Wait a minute! Whoa! Hey, the camera's still on.

Amanda: Good, because this one's for posterity.

Sam: Oh, yeah.

Nicole: I wish Cass and Michael hadn't gone looking for Andre.

Felicia: He's got a lot to account for, you know.

Nicole: Yeah, so does my father.

Felicia: Honey, he sabotaged the plane, not you personally.

Nicole: Oh, that makes it better?

Felicia: No. I'd be very upset. You're right.

Nicole: Well, he's not going to hurt any of us anymore.

Felicia: No, he's not. Donna's going to have a baby and you're going to -- oh.

Nicole: Have a garage sale.

Felicia: Oh, Nicole, I'm so sorry. Are all the clothes destroyed?

Nicole: Just about. You know, I even had to use some of them to bandage Cass' wounds.

Felicia: You are lucky, you know, that you survived this whole thing.

Nicole: Yeah, he saved my life.

Felicia: Did he?

Nicole: I was trapped in the plane and he broke in and got me out right before it exploded.

Felicia: Well, I can't believe all the things that you two have been through.

Nicole: Yeah. It wasn't all bad.

Felicia: Really?

Nicole: I mean -- well, you know, we got to know each other better, so that was nice.

Felicia: Listen, would you mind if I asked you a very personal question?

Nicole: How personal?

Felicia: How much better?

Nicole: Much better.

Felicia: He's the best, isn't he?

Nicole: Yes! Felicia! Oh! Remember what you said about -- well, when we got to Monte Carlo that you hoped it would turn out like one of your novels for us?

Felicia: Yes?

Nicole: Well, just imagine being stranded on an island --

Felicia: With a guy that you got the hots for?

Nicole: Yeah, and we were swimming in a lagoon under the stars at night, not saying a word and --

Felicia: Oh.

Cass: Well, there's no sign of Battelier.

Michael: No, nothing.

Nicole: Oh.

Felicia: Well, hi, Cass!

Cass: Why are you grinning like an idiot, Felicia?

Felicia: Nothing.

Michael: Yeah, ok. Well, look, I'm going to go radio the French authority.

Nicole: Oh -- for what?

Cass: For help catching this guy.

Nicole: Well, can't we just leave?

Cass: He's the only proof we have that your father was behind all this.

Michael: Besides, I'd like to radio Donna and just let her know that we're all ok.

Nicole: Oh, tell her I love her, will you?

Michael: I will, and don't worry, we'll be home before you know it.

Cass: And then we can both forget about everything that's happened here.

[Reginald laughs]

Donna's voice: No, this baby belongs to me, Michael and me! No, stop it! Let go of me!

Reginald's voice: Never! You'll never get away!

Donna's voice: No! Help me! Michael! No, no, you can't!

Reginald's voice: Oh, but I can.

Donna's voice: No, this baby belongs to me, Michael and me! Help me! Michael! The baby, no!

Donna: Daddy! Daddy, please! Michael! Help me! My baby! My -- no. No. No.
